MaxEnt와 GIS를 활용한 반달가슴곰 동면장소 분석: 비동면 기간 동안의 서식지 비교 연구 (Analysis of Hibernating Habitat of Asiatic Black Bear(Ursus thibetanus ussuricus ) based on the Presence-Only Model using MaxEnt and Geographic Information System: A Comparative Study of Habitat for Non-Hibernating Period)

  • 본 연구는 지리산국립공원에 서식하는 반달가슴곰의 겨울철 서식지 환경을 체계적으로 관리하기 위해 GIS 및 기계학습 모형으로 서식환경을 분석하여 지리산국립공원의 겨울철 동면기 서식지인 동면 장소 출현과 비동면기 동안의 서식지 환경과의 관계를 파악하였다. 그 결과 환경요인 중 동면 장소 선택에 가장 큰 영향을 준 요인은 경사로 41.4%, 그 다음으로 고도가 20.4%, 탐방로로부터 거리 10.9%, 영급 7.7% 순으로 나타났다. 한편, 반달가슴곰 서식지와 동면지역 서식지 평가결과를 비교해 본 결과, 평균 고도는 동면지역이 63m가 높았으며 최적 고도는 400m 이상 높게 나타났다. 평균 경사는 $7^{\circ}$가 높고 최적 경사는 $12{\sim}43^{\circ}$ 더 급한 지역을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 도로와의 거리는 동면지역이 평균 300m 이상 더 떨어져 있었으며, 최적 이격 거리의 범위는 1,300~2,400m 더 떨어져 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 겨울철 동면의 메커니즘을 위한 동면 지역선택 시 조금 더 외부의 침입으로부터 안전하고, 인간과의 접촉에서 멀어지려는 습성에 의한 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구는 반달가슴곰이 동면기간 동안 혹독한 추위와 많은 위협요인을 피할 수 있는 동면 장소를 선택하는 서식환경요소를 분석함으로써, 반달가슴곰의 동면 생태 기작과 서식지 관리를 위한 기초적 자료를 제공하고자 한다.

강원도 홍천강 유역에 서식하는 수달의 서식지이용에 관한 연구 (Studies on river otter habitat use pattern on Hongchun river in Gangwon province)

  • 본 연구는 수달이 선호하는 서식환경 알아보기 위하여 수달의 배설물을 이용한 서식 환경 분석과 육안 분석 방법을 수행하였다. 강원도 홍천군 화촌면 일대의 홍천강 상류 수계인 내촌천과 군업천 두 하천을 연구지역으로 선정하였다. 2009년5월, 6월, 7월, 8월, 9월, 10월, 11월, 2010년 11월 총 8회의 조사기간 동안 총 478개의 수달의 서식흔적 (배설물, 분비물, 족흔 등)을 발견하였다. 수달의 서식흔적이 발견되는 지점의 하천환경은 대체로 하천의 깊이가 얕은 곳(0.5-1m)과 유속이 느린 곳(5m/sec)으로 나타났다. 또한, 바위와 기반암에서 많은 서식흔적을 발견하였지만, 제방과 같은 인공구조물에서는 거의 서식흔적을 발견하지 못하였다. 이러한 수달의 서식환경과 식이물 분석을 통한 수달의 생태학적 연구는 수달 개체군의 보전과 수달 서식지의 보호를 위한 기초자료로 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

비슬산 진달래나무군락지의 식생특성과 관리방안 (Management Methods and Vegetation Characteristics of Rhododendron mucronulatum Habitat in Mt. Biseul)

  • This study was carried out to investigate vegetation of Rhododendron mucronulatum habitat in Mt. Biseul to recommend basic information for synecological characteristics and management methods. The survey was carried out from May to July, 2011 and totally 46 vegetation data including 42 families 93 genera 108 species 16 varieties and 5 forma were collected and analyzed. Among the investigated 129 taxa, the numbers of rare plant resources were summarized as 19 taxa; The rare plants designated by Korea Forest Service, the specific plants by floristic region and the endemic plants were listed as 3 taxa, 15 taxa and 4 taxa, respectively. Rhododendron mucronulatum habitat of Mt. Biseul was classified into 3 plant communities (Carex lanceolata-Rhododendron mucronulatum community, Potentilla dickinsii-Selaginella rossii community, Carex lanceolata-Quercus mongolica community). Carex lanceolata-Rhododendron mucronulatum community was subdivided into Tripterygium regelii subunit and Miscanthus sinensis for. purpurascens subunit by human interference degree. And synecology, syndynamics, synchorology of these plant communities were identified, and Site-species ordination analysis by Principal Coordinate Analysis (PCoA) reflected that human impact, soil moisture condition were main ecological factors determining the distribution pattern of classified plant communities. Therefore these plant communities correspond to quite distinctive 4 habitat types : unstable-dry type=Miscanthus sinensis for. purpurascens subunit, unstable-moderate type=Tripterygium regelii subunit, stable-dry type=Potentilla dickinsii-Selaginella rossii community, stable-moderate type=Carex lanceolata-Quercus mongolica community. Finally, through the vegetational diagnosis, proper management methods such as a limit on the access of visitors, planting of native woody plants after removing unwanted vines or grass were suggested.

월악산국립공원의 서식지에 따른 어류군집 분석 (Analysis of Fish Community according to Habitat in the Woraksan National Park, Korea)

  • 본 연구는 월악산국립공원의 서식지에 따른 어류상 현황 및 어류군집의 특성을 분석하기 위하여 수행되었다. 월악산국립공원의 주요 하천에서 공간균등계층추출법으로 총 20개의 지점을 선정하였으며, 계절별로 3회 조사를 실시하였다. 서식지의 물리적 환경은 대부분 산간계류형(Aa) 하천이었으며, 하상구조는 큰돌과 자갈이 산재되어 있는 형태였다. 서식지의 평균고도는 304.4m, 평균 수심은 40.3cm로 대부분 1m를 넘지 않았으며, 하천 차수는 3~5차하천까지 분포하였다. 서식지별 물리적 환경요인에 대하여 주성분 분석을 실시한 결과 고도에 따라 하상물질 특성이 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 조사 결과 출현한 어종은 총 7과 16종 2,183개체가 확인되었으며, 우점종은 참갈겨니(86.2%), 아우점종은 버들치(3.8%)였다. 법정보호종으로는 멸종위기 야생생물 II급 가는돌고기가 본 조사에서 처음 출현하였다. 어류군집의 순위풍부도 곡선의 모형을 분석한 결과 20개 지점중 9개 지점에서 Zipf 모형이 도출되었으며, 대수정규 모형 3개 지점, 선점 모형 4개 지점, 그밖에 4개 지점은 1종만이 출현하여 분석이 불가능하였다. 환경요인에 따른 어류군집의 특성을 파악하기 위해 20개 지점과 출현종을 대상으로 정준상관분석을 실시한 결과 고도에 따른 서식환경의 차이로 인하여 어류군집이 나뉘는 것으로 파악되었다.

해비타트 주택 거주자의 주거만족도 (A study on the Resident's Satisfaction in Habitat Housing)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate residents'opinions about Habitat Housing. It is also aimed to influence the future directions of Habitat Housing, by understanding the contents of residents'satisfaction and need of houses and surroundings. Direct interview and questionary methods were used for the survey of residents in housing complexes - 24 households in Kwang-yang and 47 households in Asan. SPSS 10.0 program was used for a statistical analysis. Residents are generally satisfied with the surroundings of housing sites, and with the interior spaces of houses. However, dissatisfactions were surveyed of community facilities, site planning, outdoor space, maintenance system, and veranda design of housing units. This result might be helpful to provide planning and design guidelines for the future Habitat Housing.

형산강 수조류의 분포와 서식지유형 (Habitat pattern and Distribution of the Water Birds along the Hyungsan River)

  • Habitat pattern and distribution of the water birds were analyzed along the Hyungsan River on nine sites during fifteen months from January 2001 to March 2002. Water birds including 16,186 individuals and 86 species in total were observed from all the surveyed sites at the downstream of the Hyungsan river. Site 5, which has been observed 4,669 individuals and 60 species of the birds, was the most favorite habitat for the water birds in the Hyungsan River. And the diversity of water birds from the Hyungsan river showed the fewest species and individual numbers of the water birds at the site 2 located at the estuary of the river and site 3, the small reservoir for filtering of the draining water from the industrial area. The similarity between habitats in the Hyungsan river was divided of three groups by the cluster analysis with the bird species and individual numbers such as coastal area, estuary sites, and rice paddy field areas.

고해상도 위성영상을 이용한 산호초 서식환경 모니터링 : 축라군 웨노섬을 중심으로 (Coral Reef Habitat Monitoring Using High-spatial Satellite Imagery : A Case Study from Chuuk Lagoon in FSM)

  • The distribution of coral reefs can be an indicator of environmental or anthropogenic impacts. Here, we present a habitat map of coral reefs developed using high-spatial satellite images. The study area was located on the north-eastern part of Weno island, in the Chuuk lagoon of Federated States of Micronesia. Two fieldwork expeditions were carried out between 2007 and 2008 to acquire optical and environmental data from 121 stations. We used an IKONOS image obtained in December 2000, and a Kompsat-2 image obtained in September 2008 for the purpose of coral reef mapping. We employed an adapted version of the object-based classification method for efficient classification of the high-spatial satellite images. The habitat map generated using Kompsat-2 was 72.22% accurate in terms of comparative analysis with in-situ measurements. The result of change detection analysis between 2000 and 2008 showed that coral reef distribution had decreased by 6.27% while seagrass meadows had increased by 8.0%.

공간분석기법을 이용한 하천단면 변화분석 - 논산천을 대상으로 - (An Analysis of Changing River Sections Using GIS Spatial Analysis - Nonsan River -)

  • The systematic data management system in the area of river flow analysis has not yet constructed, even though the need is evident due to the complicated process of tremendous input/output data in the modeling study and the importance of visualization of spatial flow variation. The objectives of this study are to suggest the method for analysis of changing river sections affecting ecological habitat characteristics. The effects of ecological habitat characteristics are assessed with respect to changing river sections. A GIS special analysis is created representing in the past section of Nonsan-river using historical data. Topographic surfaces are subject to erosional and depositional forces that a specific set of surface characteristics unique to elevation data. GIS spatial analyst is used to generate surface grids from historical point data. Using the GIS spatial analyst can be constructed sections for anywhere of river. The change of depth between 1979 and 1988, the left bank elevations of a river are increased about 1.5m. But the right bank elevations of a river are decreased about 2.3m caused by erosion. In addition, the change of spatial between 1988 and 2002, the regions of a river from upper stream to midstream are decreased the elevation. But the downstream regions are increased the elevation. These changes are analyzed in GIS program to assess methods for affecting ecological habitat.

A Study on the Home-Range and Habitat Use of Spot-Billed Duck (Anas poecilorhyncha) in Spring

  • The spring home range and habitat use of the spot-billed duck in Korea were studied using GPS-mobile phone-based telemetry (WT-300). The study areas were Anseong-si, Seosan-si, Nonsan-si, and Sejong-si. Analysis was performed using minimum convex polygon (MCP) and kernel density estimation (KDE) spot-billed ducks had an average home range of 70.28 km2 (standard deviation [SD]=84.50, n=6), and a core habitat (50%) 2.66 km2 (SD=2.60, n=6), according to MCP and KDE, respectively. Wetlands (41.5%) and rice fields (35.7%) were highly used as habitats. The rice field use rate was high during the day, and the wetland utilization rate was high at night. Rice fields and wetlands were the primary habitats in spring.

SWOT-AHP 분석을 통한 대게 산란·서식장 조성사업의 추진전략 수립 (Establishment of Promotion Strategy on the Creation Program of Snow Crab, Chionoecetes opilio, Spawning and Habitat Ground Using SWOT-AHP Analysis)

  • This study is aimed to prepare the promotion strategy to spawn snow crab resources and create their habitats using SWOT-AHP analysis. Currently, the creation program of spawning and habitat ground (CPSH) of various fisheries resource is a continuing process, however, none of these CPSH can be labeled as being effective in Korea. In order for CPSH to be effective, it must be planned systematically. Therefore, it is necessary for establishing promotion strategy on the CPSH. SWOT-AHP analysis is used to improve explanation ability of SWOT analysis. In this research, we suggested three strategies and 15 implementation plans of the CPSH using SWOT-AHP analysis. It is expected that the economic feasibility, ecosystem and recovery of fisheries resources will improve significantly. Consequently, to increase the performance of CPSH, it is necessary to focus on the developing an efficient and executive promotion strategy on the CPSH.
