During a six-month period (autumn 2014 within the framework of a research & education project) we have constructed a professional double-station video-meteor detection network at the SOAO and BOAO mountain summits. Meteor detection is achieved by pixel-to-pixel motion-detection trigger. Each station is nearly autonomous and has three cameras with fixed viewing angles monitoring part of the night-sky over Korea. Various field of views are in use for testing purpose and captured video-meteor data is automatically transferred to a central FTP server on a nightly basis. Data is publicly available. The network has been operational since September 2014 and could serve as a prototype system for a more extended national network for meteor/fireball monitoring and detection in Korean airspace. Culture-independent approaches, based on 16S rDNA sequences, are extensively used in modern microbial ecology. Sequencing of the clone library generated from environmental DNA has advantages over fingerprint-based methods, such as denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis, as it provides precise identification and quantification of the phylotypes present in samples. However, to date, no method exists for comparing multiple bacterial community structures using clone library sequences. In this study, an automated method to achieve this has been developed, by applying pair wise alignment, hierarchical clustering and principle component analysis. The method has been demonstrated to be successful in comparing samples from various environments. The program, named CommCluster, was written in JAVA, and is now freely available, at http://chunlab.snu.ac.kr/commcluster/.

Korea Aerospace Research Institute(KARl) has been receiving Terra and Aqua MODIS data at ground station of Daejeon since July 2002. MODIS data can cover whole East Asia including the Korean Peninsula, Japan and The East China each almost scene and is monitoring ocean, atmosphere and land. By this time, over two thousand scenes have been archived including Terra and Aqua in the storage system and they occupied about over 10TB of disk space. In this study, Web-Downloading system of MODIS data developed on WWW is including following main functions: spectral subset (250m, 500m, 1000m chnnels) Level 1B data of HDF format, result display, ftp download and statistic viewer etc. Users using this system can directly download MODIS data on WWW with a few input parameters. This system is available via the Internet URL after October 2005 on the following, 'http://webmodis.kari.re.kr/'

Summary: The analysis of human genetic variation is one of the key issues far the understanding of the different drug response among individuals and many programs are developed for this purpose. However, current publicly available programs have so many limitations such as time complexity problem for the analysis of large amount of alleles or SNPs, difficult manipulation for installation, data import, and usage, and low-quality visual output. Here we present workbench for SNP anlaysis, SNPAnalyzer. SNPAnalyzer consists of 3 main modules: 1)Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium ,2) Haplotype Estimation, and 3) Linkage Disequilibrium. Each module has several different widely-used algorithms for the extensive analysis and can handle large amount of alleles and SNPs with simple format. Analysis results are displayed in user-friendly formats such as table, graph and map. SNPAnalyzer is developed using C and C$^{++}$ and users can easily access through web-interftce. In this paper, the plug-in scheme for ENUM client and ENUM services was proposed using an ENUM DNS applied by E.164 telephone numbering. Especially, ENUM services(ENUM HTTP, ENUM FTP) were implemented according to ENUM root domain(e164.arpa).

Objectives: This study examined the recent update of factors affect length and regularity of menstrual cycle and symptoms need for diagnosis in oriental medicine. Methods: For factors, we searched the key word "menstrual cycle length and factor" in ScienceDirect(http://www.sciencedirect.com) and we mainly searched symptoms in the journal of oriental obstetrics & gynecology and text. Results: The result are shown in the Table 1-3. Conclusion: In fact as the fluctuation of menstrual cycle length and regularity is very high in healthy women, we must observe the factor affect menstrual cycle with attention even though rule out disease, operation and HRT etc. these researches show potential to compound oriental medicine care and factor of menstrual cycle change.

KMTNet에서는 프로젝트의 소개와 운영현황 등 파악하기 위해 웹서비스를 운영하고 있다. 홈페이지(http://kmtnet.kasi.re.kr; 국문, 영문)에는 최신 뉴스와 공지사항, 실시간 모니터링 영상 및 기상정보, 관측일정, 관측자료 공개, 활용성과 등을 게시 하였고, 관측 결과와 운영 정보 관리를 위해서 모니터링 홈페이지(kmtnet-monitor)를 제작하였다. KMTNet은 남반구 3개 관측소에 상주하는 현지 관측자에 의해 관측이 이루어지기 때문에, 국내 연구자가 남반구 관측소 현황을 파악할 수 있는 모니터링 시스템이 필수적이다. 웹서비스에 실시간 기상과 관측자료 전송속도를 함께 표시하여 관측 진행 여부를 확인할 수 있으며, 관측일지를 데이터베이스화하여 망원경/카메라/관측돔의 이상 유무, 관측 현황, 기상/시상 통계 등으로 활용하고 있다. 여기서는 지금까지 개발한 웹 서비스를 소개하고 앞으로 관측소 운영에 유용한 정보와 웹 서비스의 발전 방향에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

Korea National Statistical Office(http://www.nso.go.kr-Dec 20. 2005) was officially announced it. that Korean Life Table(2003) presented the reminder of human life and roughly equation model of 'the reminder of human life' is 'Korean average longevity of human life-Present Korean age=About the reminder of human life' on the basic 2003 year. And then we will live a life worth living for our remaining day
