탄소환원질화법에 의한 AlN 제조 규모확대 시험결과 (A Scale-Up Test for Preparation of AlN by Carbon Reduction and Subsequent Nitridation Method)

  • 탄소환원질화법을 이용하여 질화알루미늄(Aluminum Nitride: AlN)을 제조하는 연구를 배치당 0.7 ~ 1.5 kg 규모로 규모 확대하여 수행하였다. 고품위 알루미나 분말과 탄소(carbon black)를 배합하여 흑연 도가니에 장입하고, 노내 진공도 $2.0{\times}10^{-1}Torr$에서 온도($1,550{\sim}1,750^{\circ}C$), 시간(0.5 ~ 4 hr), $N_2$유량($10{\sim}40{\ell}/min$)을 변화시키면서 AlN을 합성하였다. 실험결과 합성온도 $1,700{\sim}1,750^{\circ}C$, 합성시간 3시간, 질소유량 $40{\ell}/min$가 적정 조건이었다. 또한, 합성한 AlN에 잔존하는 탄소를 제거하기 위하여 관상로에서 온도 $650-750^{\circ}C$, 1 - 2시간 범위에서 탈탄을 시킨 결과, 알루미나와 탄소 몰배합비 1 : 3.2 로 합성한 시료를 대기 분위기에서 탈탄온도 $750^{\circ}C$, 관상로의 회전속도 1.5 rpm에서 2시간 탈탄하는 것이 적정조건이었다. 시험 제조한 AlN의 성분 분석 결과 C 함량 835 ppm, O 함량 0.77%으로서 순도 99% 이상의 고품위 제품을 제조할 수 있었다.

두아 청국장의 이화학적 특성 (Physico-chemical Characteristics of Dua-Chungkukjang)

  • 종래의 전통청국장 제조방법과는 달리 원료 콩을 수침하여 균일하게 발아시켜 증자한 다음, $40^{\circ}C$에서 발효를 행한 두아청국장의 이화학적 성분 등을 검토하였다. 환원당 함량은 전통청국장 및 두아청국장 모두 발효 10 시간째까지는 급격하게 증가하였으나 그 이후부터 약간 감소하였다. 총 질소함량은 전통청국장 및 두아청국장 모두 서서히 증가하여 발효 40 시간째에 각각 약 3,500 mg%과 3,700 mg%를 나타내었으며, 수용성 질소함량은 750 mg%와 1,800 mg%를 나타내었다. 그리고 아미노태질소 함량은 발효 10시간 이후로는 아주 완만하게 증가하여 발효 40시간째에 345 mg% 및 342 mg%를 나타내었다.$\beta$-glucosidase 활성은 전통청국장에서 발효 10, 20, 30 및 40 시간째에 각각 125, 178, 205 및 214 units를 나타내었으나 두아청국장은 193, 223, 235 및 248 units를 나타내어 대조구에 비하여 $1.2{\sim}1.5$배 정도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 전통청국장 및 두아청국장의 총 isoflavone함량은 발효 10시간째에 각각 $101.44{\mu}g$/g 및 $365.92{\mu}g$/g, 40 시간째에는 $225.98{\mu}g$/g 및 $441.37{\mu}g$/g이 검출되어 두아청국장의 isoflavone함량이 전통청국장 보다 3.5배$\sim$약 2배 높은 것으로 나타났다. Anthocyanin 함량은 발효 40 시간째에 대조구인 전통청국장에서는 5.0 mg/g, 두아청국장에서는 6.9 mg/g이 검출되었다.

연속적 열풍건조/열분해 Full Scale 장치를 이용한 하수슬러지 케익 처분을 위한 최적조건 연구 (Full Scale Study on The Optimum Conditions for Disposal of Sewage Sludge Cake by Using Continual Thermal Wind Dryer and Pyrolysis)

  • 본 연구는 연속적 연풍건조와 열분해 장치를 이용한 Full Scale 최적조건 하에서 하수슬러지 케익를 처분하는 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 P시 N하수처리장의 탈수슬러지 케익를 사용하였으며, 열풍건조와 열분해로의 연계 공정에서 운전조건은 건조온도가 $130{\sim}180^{\circ}C$와 열분해 장치의 온도는 $650{\sim}750^{\circ}C$의 조건에서 장치를 실행하였다. 열풍식 컨베이어식 열풍건조 온도는 $130{\sim}180^{\circ}C$. 부하량 600~750kg/h(W =79.5%)와 체류시간은 110~120분대에서 최적조건을 연구하였다. 연속적 로타리식 열분해공정의 온조조건은 $650{\sim}750^{\circ}C$, 유입부하량 100~158kg/h와 체류시간은 20~40분대에서 최적운전 조건을 평가하기 위해서 실험을 실행하였다. 하수슬러지 케익의 함수율은 78~80%의 조건에서 운전을 실행한 결과 내부수 세포벽 파괴로 인하여 최종적으로 1~3%범위 내까지 수분이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 증발건조와 열분해의 연속공정에 발생되는 동역학적인 변화에 영향을 미치는 주요 매개 변수는 체류운전시간, 슬러지내 수분함량, 슬러지 고형물량, 컨베이어속도, 회전속도 등의 결과에 따라서 최적조건을 산출하였다.

Inhibitive Effect of Fuyuziphine isolated from Plant (Pittapapra) (Fumaria indica) on Spore Germination of Some Fungi

  • The alkaloid fuyuziphine was isolated from the whole plant of Fumaria indica. It had inhibitive effect against spore germination of some plant pathogenic fungi (Collectotrichum sp., C. gloeosporioides, C. falcatum, Curvularia maculans, C. lunata, Erysiphe cichoracearum, Helminthosporium pennisetti, Oidium erysiphoides, Ustilago cynodontis, Alternaria chieranthi, A. mel-ongenae, A. brassicicola and A. solam). Curvularia lunata, Oidium erysiphoides, Alternaria brassicicola and A. solani did not germinate at 750 and 1000 ppm and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, C. falcatum, Curvularia maculans were inhibited at 1000 ppm for 24 hr incubation. Germination of most fungi was significantly inhibited at $100{\sim}750ppm$.

미생물 포괄고정화 담체를 적용한 파일럿 스케일 바이오필터에서의 복합악취 제거 (Complex odor removal in pilot-scale biofilter with microorganisms immobilized on polymer gel media)

  • A pilot-scale biofilter was constructed to discover degradation characteristics of the complex odor discharged from Ansan wastewater treatment plant. Candida tropicalis for volatile organic compounds, sulfur oxidizing bacteria(SOB) for hydrogen sulfide, and bacteria extracted from feces soil were immobilized on a polymer gel media. According to this study, the EBCT was varied from 36 sec to 18 sec. Toluene was removed as 80% along the variations, but it was recovered as 100% within 1 week. All benzene and xylene were removed during the operation while the efficiency of hydrogen sulfur was temporary decreased at 18 sec of EBCT, thereafter it was recovered to 100% within a week. The maximum elimination capacities of the benzene, toluene, xylene, and hydrogen sulfur were 6.6 g/$m^{3}$/hr, 31.7 g/$m^{3}$/hr, 7.8 g/$m^{3}$/hr, and 133.6 g/$m^{3}$/hr, respectively. There were merits on removal both organic and inorganic complex odor using the pilot-scale biofilter embedded with microorganisms immobilized on polymer gel media.

  • A sediments are Integral called as gravel, sand, clay, mineral materials which are settling in bottom layer of reservoir, stream, and oceans from land. In practical problems relations of sediments are flood by decreed of flow capacity and down of water quality. Dredged sediments are composed with constructed material and variety of pollutant compounds. Therefore, it is very much of cost effects in nationally, if development for use of constructed material separated only constructed material within sediments. And it will be continue to the dredge operation of stream sediment for retrofit of water environment and sustainable's after the years. The following results could be obtained : In case of high concentration sediments, sample for design of CDF was shown property of flocculent settling. Assuming that average inflow rate is 1, 000㎥/hr, mean residence time( $T_{d}$), average ponding depth( $H_{pd}$ ), and design surface area for flocculent settling( $A_{df}$ ) were 5 hr, 0.6m, and 15, 750 $m^2$ respectivelyrespectivelyy

질소기체를 이용한 잎담배 팽화특성 (The Expansive Properties of leaf tobacco by Nitrogen Gas)

  • The expansive properties of leaf tobacco by nitrogen gas was investigated with cut tobacco AB3O-1, CD3L-1(NC82). Major factors for the best expansion of the tobacco by the gas were an impregnated pressure and expansion temperature. The expansion rate for AB3O-1 and CD3L-1 at 250℃, 750kg/cm2 was 96.6%, 99.4% respectively. The shred size and fineness index at 96.6% of expansion rate for AB3O-1 was almost the same as at 58.3% for CD3L-1. The time reaching at equilibrium moisture under of RH 57% was 36hr in non-treated leaf tobacco, but it was 20hr in expanded tobacco. We confirmed that total sugar contents of leaf tobacco by the expansion was decreased with 9.3∼10.9%. Total alkaloid was decreased with 17.5∼21.1% and ether extracts was declined with 4.9∼9.3%. These results suggest that the expansion method of leaf tobacco by nitrogen gas is a useful method without any serious environmental troubles. 수축율 조절에 의한 적층 칩 LC Filter의 동시 소성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Co-Firing of Multilayer Chip LC Filter by Control of Shrinkage)

  • Among many problems that need to be solved in the process of preparing multilayer chip LC filters, we studied the control of shrinkage in order to prevent the crack, warpage, and/or delamination which occurs at the interface between the inductance (L part) and the capacitance (C part). Shrinkage was controlled by compositions, powder size, calcining temperature and amount of organic binder. Capacitance sheet was prepared by mixing 65 wt% binder with the composition of 96 wt% TiO2 having an average particle size of 0.5 $\mu\textrm{m}$, 3 wt% CuO. After small amount of MnO2 and SiO2 added, it was calcined at 750$^{\circ}C$ for 2 hr. Inductance sheet was prepared by mixing 60 wt% binder with the composition of 49.5% mol% Fe2O3, 20.5 mol% ZnO, 20 mol% NiO and 10 mol% CuO which was calcined at 775$^{\circ}C$ for 2 hr. These sheets was laminated at 250 kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$, and cofired at 900$^{\circ}C$ for 2 hr to give rise to a multilayer chip LC filter without any warpage.

기계적 합금화에 의한 Ni-33.3at%Si 분말의 합성 및 소결 특성 (Synthesis of Ni-33.3at%Si Powders by MA and Their Sintering Characteristics)

  • Ni-33.3at%Si elemental powder mixtures were mechanically alloyed by a high-energy ball mill, followed by CIP (cold isostatic pressing) and HIP (hot isostatic pressing) for different processing conditions. Only elemental phases (Ni and Si) were observed for the 15 min mechanically alloyed (MA 15 min) powder. but $Ni_2$Si and elemental phases were observed to coexist for the 30 min mechanically alloyed (MA 30 min) powder. Elemental Ni and $Ni_2$Si phases were observed for the HIPed compact of MA 15 min powder at 100 and 150 MPa for 2 hr at $800^{\circ}C$. Only the $Ni_2$Si phase was, however, observed for the HIPed compacts of MA 30 min powder. For the HIPed compacts, the highest sintered density was obtained to be 99.5% of theoretical density by a HIP step at $1100^{\circ}C$ at 150MPa for 2hr. The hardness values of the HIPed $Ni_2$Si compacts at $1100^{\circ}C$ at 100/150 MPa for 2 hr were higher than HRC 66. The densification and mechanical property of HIPed $Ni_2$Si compacts were found to depend on more HIP temperature than HIP pressure.

육성 용접부의 기계적 성질에 미치는 열처리조건의 영향 (Effect of heat treatment on mechanical properties of overlay welds)

  • Effect of heat treatment on mechanical properties of an overlay weldment was investigated. Over welding was carried out on the structural C-Mn mild steel substrate to take required test specimens. Shielded metal arc welding process with 13Cr-0.2Ni stick electrode was applied. The heat treatment temperatures and holding times were $450{\circ}C., 550{\circ}C., 650{\circ}C., 750{\circ}C., 850{\circ}C.$ and 0.5hr, 2hr, 10hr, respectively. Mechanical tests and microscopic inspection were also carried out to investigate welds soundness. Test results indicated that carbon migration was dominant near bonded zone. At temperature of around 650.deg. C, carburized layer and decarburized layer were formed remarkably along overlay welds region and C-Mn mild steel region, respectively. The wideth of these layers became wider with increasing heat treatment temperature and/or holding time at the elevated temperature, and this relationship agreed with Larson-Miller parameter. Side bending test results demonstrated that the crack free region of overlay welds could be deduced from the relationship between temperature and holding time.
