This study examined the laxative effects of hot-water extracts of Hovenia dulcis Thunb. (HD), Phyllostachys pubescens Mazel (PM), and a 2:8 mixture of both (HP) in two chronic constipation models. For the loperamide-induced constipation model, animals were divided into an untreated group, negative control group (loperamide 4 mg/kg), positive control group (bisacodyl 4 mg/kg) group, and six treatment groups (HP 100 or 400, HD 50 or 100, and PM 100 or 400 mg/kg). For the low-fiber diet-induced constipation model, animals were divided into an untreated group (normal diet), negative control group (low-fiber diet), positive control group (Agio granule, 620 mg/kg), and the same treatment groups. Fecal number, weight, fecal water content, and intestinal transit ratio were higher in the groups treated with HP, HD, and PM than in the groups treated with loperamide or low-fiber diet. Thickness of colon mucosa and muscle layers were increased in the treated groups. Colon tension increased in the HP groups, and [Ca2+]i measurements using fura-2 as an indicator showed that HP inhibits ATP-mediated Ca2+ influx in IEC-18 cells. These results showed that the HP mixture has laxative activity by increased mucin secretion and inducing contractile activity and relaxation. It may be a useful therapeutic strategy for ameliorating in chronic constipation.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze e-commerce food purchase behavior and the perceptions of adult women according to their household types. Methods: The e-commerce food purchases of 318 adult women were surveyed and analyzed according to their household types (one-person or couple household (OCH); a household with children (HC); a household with parents (HP)). Results: The total amount of food purchases over 6 months through e-commerce according to household types was in the descending order of OCH (60.3%), HC (57%), and HP (55.1%) thus showing a significant difference (P < 0.05) in behavior between household types. The reasons for purchasing food through e-commerce included: a lower price than offline (30.8%), convenient delivery and transportation (30.2%), and food diversity (21.1%). When purchasing food online, the most important factor was price and quality, followed by quick and accurate delivery for OCH, exact information given about the product for HC, and recommendation from other consumers for HP (P < 0.01). The main foods purchased through e-commerce were coffee, tea (42.1%), instant and frozen foods (39.9%), water, beverages, dairy products (37.7%), snacks, bread, rice cakes (31.5%), and functional foods (27.4%). The percentage of respondents who were very satisfied or satisfied with their e-commerce food purchases was HP (84.1%), OCH (69.9%), and HC (65.6%) in that order (P < 0.05), and 96.5% of all subjects stated that they would be willing to purchase food through e-commerce in the future. The advantages of purchasing food through e-commerce were seen to be the highest in order and payment convenience with 4.1 points out of 5, followed by low price (4.0), variety of products (3.9), and ease of food purchase (3.9). Among the disadvantages listed, concerns about product damage and deterioration during delivery and differences between the displayed product and the delivered product were the highest with 3.7 points. Conclusions: The characteristics and perceptions of female consumers according to household types are important factors in enhancing the reach of e-commerce, and in preparing guidelines for food selection through e-commerce.
As devices such as smartphones, tablet PC, and wearable devices have been miniaturized, the connectors that go into the devices are also designed to be very small. The connector combines the plug and the receptacle to transfer electricity. As devices are miniaturized, the contact shape is formed by partially thinning the thickness of the raw material of the terminal in order to lower the coupling height of the plug and receptacle. The product used in this study is a receptacle terminal used for 0.4mm pitch board to board connector among fine pitch connectors. When the material thickness is reduced by forging the receptacle terminal, the width change of the pin is checked. To reduce the thickness of the material by forging, pre-notching is applied in the first step, forging in the second step, and notching in the third step. After forming the width dimension of the pin to 0.28 mm in the pre-notching process, in the forging process, the material thickness 0.08 mm and 0.02 mm (25%) were forged and the thickness was changed to 0.06 mm and the width change amount of the pin was measured. The facility produced 10,000 pieces at 400 SPM using a Yamada Dobby (MXM-40L) press, and thirty pins were measured and the average value was shown. After forging by using C5210-H (HP) and NKT322-EH, which are frequently used in connectors, analyze the amount of change in each material. The effect of punching oil on forging is investigated by appling FM-200M, which is highly viscous, and FL-212, fast drying oil. This study aims to minimize mold modification by predicting the amount of material change after forging.
Purpose: This study examined the legal basis related to a physical therapist's home-based rehabilitation. Methods: The policy data were referenced to the comprehensive plan for national health promotion and the guidebook Community Health Promotion Project issued by the Korea Health Promotion Institute and other institutes. The legal data were referenced to the Bill information system on the National Assembly website. Results: The physical therapist's home-based rehabilitation did not have a legal basis in the community-based rehabilitation project (CBR) of the HP 2020 project. On the other hand, according to the Home health care part of the community health promotion project that began in 2013, physical therapists were allowed to play a role from 2020 under Article 16-2 (Public Officials in Exclusive Charge of Visiting Health Management) of the REGIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH ACT. Conclusion: Policies and laws are being developed in the field of healthcare, but the necessary policies and laws in the field of rehabilitation are still insufficient. A bill to rehabilitate in a variety of fields and spaces by modifying the scope of work of physical therapists will be needed.
The contribution of damage mechanisms to failure of steam turbine casing made of Cr-Mo-V steel was investigated. Creep-fatigue interaction on the HP side corner of turbine casing was revealed as the root cause of the catastrophic failure performed by metallurgical analysis. The steady-state pressure and transient thermal stress were analyzed based on the actual operating condition of the thermal plant. Damage of creep-fatigue interaction to crack initiation was evaluated with multiaxial effects. The contribution ratio of creep and fatigue to the crack initiation was estimated to 3:1. Temporary geometrical correct action with repair weld was executed. For long-term operation, design improvement of casing equipment for creep resistance should be needed.

This study investigates the selective fractionation of lignin with uniform structures and lower molecular weight. Lignin solubilization was first performed using a solution of acetic acid (AA) and hydrogen peroxide (HP) (4:1, (v/v)) to form peracetic acid (PAA), which is a strong oxidant. After the PAA-induced solubilization that occurred at 80℃, totally soluble lignin was extracted by ethyl acetate (EA) and divided into organic- and water-soluble fractions. The EA fraction was then fractionated by open-column using three solutions (chloroform-ethyl acetate, methanol, and water) sequentially. With an increase in the solvent polarity during the fractionation step, the molecular weight of the lignin-derived compounds in the fraction increased. Remarkably, some lignin fractions did not have aromatic structures. These fractions were identified as carboxylic acid-containing polymers like poly-carboxylates. These results conclude that the selective production of lignin-derived polymers with specific molecular weight and structural characteristics could be possible through open-column fractionation.

ACF preparation from different materials has been attached with great attention during these years. This study was conducted to prepare activated carbon fiber (ACF) from luffa through the processes i.e pre-treatment, pre-oxidation and carbonization activation. Besides, this study also characterizes the ACF and its effect, i.e effect of pre-oxidation time and temperature also activation time and temperature on the compressive strength of ACF were investigated. The results from SEM, BET, FTIR and XRD show that the ACF is very efficient. The products under the optimum conditions had a specific surface area of 478.441 m2 /g with an average pore diameter of 3.783nm, and a pore volume of 0.193 cm3 /g. The surface of the luffa fiber is degummed and exposed, which is beneficial to the subsequent process and the increase of product properties. The compressive strength of HP-ACF was prepared under the optimum conditions, which can reach 0.2461 MPa. ACF is rich in micro-pores and has a good application prospect in the field of environmental protection.

This paper estimates the optimum level of reserves in Vietnam based on the approach of reserves' cost-benefit and sovereign risk which is one of developing countries' characteristics. The cost of reserves is the opportunity cost when holding reserves. The benefit of reserves is the loss due to country's default in case that there is no reserves to finance external debt payment. The optimum reserves is found out by minimizing the total of opportunity cost and loss due to country's default with the probability of default. Through the usage of HP Filter method for calculating the loss due to country's default, ARDL regression for the risk premium model and lending rate of VND as proxy for opportunity cost together with the Vietnamese economic data in the period of 2005 - 2017, the empirical results show that the optimum reserves in Vietnam is almost higher than the actual reserves during the research period except the point of Q3/2008 and the last point of research period - Q4/2017. Therefore, Vietnam should continue to increase reserves for safety but Vietnam does not need pushing quickly the speed of increasing reserves. In addition, controlling Vietnamese optimum reserves is necessary to help the actual reserves become reasonable.

The paper proposes a hybrid approach of artificial bee colony (ABC) and grey wolf optimizer (GWO) algorithm for multi-objective and multidimensional engine optimization of a converted plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. The proposed strategy is used to optimize all emissions along with brake specific fuel consumption (FC) for converted parallel operated diesel plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). All emissions particulate matter (PM), nitrogen oxide (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbon (HC) are considered as optimization parameters with weighted factors. 70 hp engine data of NOx, PM, HC, CO and FC obtained from Oak Ridge National Laboratory is used for the study. The algorithm is initialized with feasible solutions followed by the employee bee phase of artificial bee colony algorithm to provide exploitation. Onlooker and scout bee phase is replaced by GWO algorithm to provide exploration. MATLAB program is used for simulation. Hybrid ABC-GWO algorithm developed is tested extensively for various values of speeds and torque. The optimization performance and its environmental impact are discussed in detail. The optimization results obtained are verified by real data engine maps. It is also compared with modified ABC and GWO algorithm for checking the effectiveness of proposed algorithm. Hybrid ABC-GWO offers combine benefits of ABC and GWO by reducing computational load and complexity with less computation time providing a balance of exploitation and exploration and passes repeatability towards use for real-time optimization.

This paper studies the main parameters of tube-to-bar dissimilar material and shape friction welding for piping materials. The weldability of joint parts was investigated with respect to tensile tests, micro-Vickers hardness, the bond of area, and optical microstructure. The specimens are tested as-welded. Optimal welding conditions are n = 2000 rpm, HP = 50 MPa, UP = 100 MPa, HT = 5 sec, and UT = 10 sec when the metal loss (Mo) is 11 mm. Moreover, the same two materials for friction welding are strongly mixed with a well-combined structure of micro-particles without any molten material, particle growth, or defects. Therefore, the expected result of dissimilar material friction welding includes a reduction of cost and material in the welding process.
