FTP-75 냉간 주행 모드로 운전하는 차량의 연료분사 모사시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fuel Injection System Simulating a Vehicle Driven with FTP-75 Mode for Cold Transition Period)

  • A fuel injection system which is operated with a real vehicle driving simulation was developed as an alternative to a vehicle test for the fuel injectors. The sensor signals that are supplied to the ECU were measured and recorded as a data file for a vehicle driven in FTP-75 mode in a chassis dynamometer. The imperative sensor signals of the throttle position, vehicle speed, engine speed, crank position, cam position, intake air flow, and cooling water and intake air temperature were reconstructed using FPGA DAQ boards and a PXI computer. The scanning results showed good agreement with the input signals that were reconstructed. The ECU HILS system operated successfully to drive six fuel injectors, which injected fuel in the same pattern as if they were mounted in the vehicle driven in FTP-75 mode. Also, the fuel injection system developed in this research shows the possibility of application in evaluating the characteristics of fuel injection rate for injectors according to properties of injected fuel with the real driving mode of vehicles.

  • 본 논문은 임베디드 시스템이 제어하는 서브시스템의 실시간 피드백을 반영하여 테스트 케이스를 생성할 수 있는 테스트 생성기 구조를 제안한다. 일반적으로 폐쇄형 임베디드 시스템은 자신이 제어하는 서브시스템의 피드백을 참조하여 서브시스템의 다음 상태를 제어하는 값을 결정한다. 그와 같은 시스템에서는, 피드백을 고려하지 않는 전통적인 테스트 케이스는 사용하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 테스트 케이스 생성기 구조는 서브시스템의 피드백을 이용하여 다음에 사용할 테스트 케이스를 실시간 재구성한다. 제안하는 구조를 구현하고 데모 시스템을 이용하여 유용성을 검증한다.

  • A submerged vehicle which is a nonlinear multivariable system must be designed to be roubst against inner-outer perturbations and hydrodynamic disturbances induces maneuvering operation. But a practical design of motion controller is limited by both mathematical modeling error and linearization errors. Performance of a motion controller based on traditional design method is very poor when the vehicle motion is under wave force distrubacnes near sea surface.   • A driving vehicle performance which is driven by FTP-75 mode was simulated by computer. Throttle valve position, engine speed, air mass flow rate, fuel consumption et al. were computer simulated. A set of engine part load performance data, automatic transmission shift map and vehicle specifications were used for the computer simulation. Throttle valve position, engine speed, air mass flow rate et al. measured for evaluating the computer simulation results by driving the vehicle with FTP-75 mode on a chassis dynamometer. GT-Power$^{(R)}$ software was used for the computer simulation of the driving vehicle performance. Experimental fuel consumption rate was measured by using an ECU HILS fuel injection system. The experimental data and simulation results were compared. The computer simulation of the driving vehicle performance predicts the measured data well comparatively.

  • The acceleration and the angular velocity that include natural frequencies of a missile detected by Inertial Measurement Unit(IMU) are transmitted to the control loop of a missile. The control loop command that is calculated using above signals can cause the resonance of the missile while it flies. Hence it is common to adapt the filter and the control loop for attenuating or eliminating the undesired signals such as natural frequencies. This paper introduces the new test technique using a floating system for performance evaluation of the designed filter and the control loop prior to a flight test. The proposed scheme can check out the degradation property of vibration in the filter and the control loop, while the conventional hardware-in-the-loop simulation(HILS) scheme cannot.

온도변화에 강인한 EPB 시스템의 모델기반 고장검출 방법 (Robust Model Based Fault Detection of EPB System for Varying Temperature)

  • In this paper, a robust model based fault detection for varying temperature is proposed, To develop a robust force estimation model, it needs temperature information because the force sensor's output is affected by a temperature variation. If an EPB system does not include a temperature sensor, the model has a much larger error than an EPB system with a built-in temperature sensor. Therefore, the temperature is estimated by using Ohm's law. The force model is applied with a motor current, battery voltage, operation mode, and the estimated temperature to detect a force sensor's abnormal signal fault. The residual is calculated by comparing the value of the measured force and the estimated force. Fault information is collected by using the output of the evaluated residual with the adaptive thresholds. A proposed robust model based fault detection for varying temperature was verified by HILS (Hardware in the Loop Simulation).

다이아몬드 인터체인지의 3현시 감응제어 평가 (Evaluation of Three-Phase Actuated Operation at Diamond Interchanges)

  • 다이아몬드 인터체인지에서 사용되는 두 가지 유형의 3현시 신호 체계의 운영결과를 다양한 교통상황 하에서 분석하였다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위하여 Hardware-in-the-loop 장치를 CORSIM 프로그램과 연결하여 사용하였으며, 운영결과는 평균지체와 총 정지수의 두 가지 효과척도를 사용하여 평가하였다. 평가결과 두 가지 3현시 신호 체계는 평균적으로 평균지체에 관해서는 동일한 결과를 나타내었으나 총 정지수는 다른 결과를 나타내었다. 또한 평균지체는 교통패턴과 인터체인지 거리에 따라 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 파악되었다. 총 정지수는 인터체인지 거리가 증가함에 따라 감소되었고, 두 가지 3현시 신호체계의 운영효과를 비교 평가할 수 있는 척도로 평가되었다. 그리고 Hardware-in-the-loop 장치를 결합하여 현재 시뮬레이션 기술의 적용영역을 확장할 수 있음을 구현하여 예시하였다.

Three-Phase Three-Switch Buck-Type Rectifier Based on Current Source Converter for 5MW PMSG Wind Turbine Systems

  • This paper proposes a three-phase three-switch buck-type converter as the MSC of a wind turbine system. Owing to a novel switching modulation scheme that can eliminate the unwanted diode rectifier mode switching state, the proposed system exhibits a satisfying ac voltage and current waveform quality and torque ripple up to the level of a typical current source rectifier even under a wide power factor operating range. The proposed system has been verified through simulations and HILS tests on a PMSG wind turbine model of 5MW/4160V. The proposed converter has been shown to provide a stator current THD of 3.9% and a torque ripple of 1% under the rated power condition. In addition to the inherent advantage of the reduced switch count of three-phase three-switch buck-type converters, the proposed switching modulation technique can make this converter a viable solution for the MSC placed inside of a nacelle, which is under severe volume, weight and mechanical vibration design limits.

  • Electro-hydraulic shift control of a vehicle automatic transmission has been predominantly carried out via an open-loop control based on numerous time-consuming calibrations. Despite remarkable success in practice, the variations of system characteristics inevitably deteriorate the performance of the tuned open-loop controller. As a result, the controller parameters need to be continuously updated in order to maintain satisfactory shift quality. This paper presents a self-learning algorithm for automatic transmission shift control in a construction vehicle during inertia phase. First, an observer reconstructs the turbine acceleration signal (impossible to measure in a construction vehicle) from the readily accessible turbine speed measurement. Then, a control algorithm based on a quadratic function of the turbine acceleration is shown to guarantee the asymptotic convergence (within a specified target bound) of the error between the actual and the desired turbine accelerations. A Lyapunov argument plays a crucial role in deriving adaptive laws for control parameters. The simulation and hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) studies show that the proposed algorithm actually delivers the promise of satisfactory performance despite the system characteristics variations and uncertainties.

  • Nowadays, various researches about eco-friendly vehicles such as hybrid electric vehicle, fuel cell vehicle and electric vehicle have been actively carried out. Since most of these green cars have electric motors, the regenerative energy technology can be used to improve the fuel economy and the energy efficiency of vehicles. The regenerative brake is an energy recovery mechanism which slows a vehicle by converting its kinetic energy into electric energy, which can be either used immediately or stored until needed. This technology plays a significant role in achieving the high energy usage. However, there are some technical problems for controlling the regenerative braking and the electro-hydraulic brake during switching at transient region. In this paper, the performance simulator for fuel-cell vehicle is developed and transient response characteristics of the regenerative braking system are analyzed in the various driving situations. And the hardware-in-the-loop simulation of electro-hydraulic brake is performed to validate the transient characteristics of the regenerative braking system for fuel-cell electric vehicle.
