New synthetic method for methyl-7-iodoheptanoate was studied. Methyl-7-iodoheptanoate is important compound in the synthesis codlemone, the sex pheromone of codling moth which doing harm to apple tree significantly, and this compound also be used essentially in the synthesis of prostaglandin derivatives. In previous the methyl-7-iodoheptanoate has been prepared from-7-chloroheptanoic acid as a starting material with disadvantage, since the 7-chloroheptanoic acid is expensive and the process is much complicate. In this paper the method to preparing methyl-7-iodoheptanoate was developed economically by using dihydropyran as a starting material in the course of 5 steps. Hence, methyl-7-iodoheptanoate which can be synthesized by new method studied onthis paper should be very useful compound for preparing codlemone or its acetate which will be used to developing pollution-free insecticides, and for preparing prostaglandin derivatives with advantage.

ERV system has installed in almost newly constructed residential building in Korea. Heat recovery features of ERV can be possible to decrease the heating and cooling load caused by ventilation. However, in case of the outdoor condition is favorable to control the indoor air, the heat recovery function of ERV does more harm than good in term of cooling load. In this study, the ERV with economizer cycle control for residential building is suggested and the performance of the suggested system will be analyzed using TRNSYS.

Gastric lavage is now known to be ineffective, unnecessary or hazardous in some circumstances where it used to be performed as a routine. This article concerns the medico-legal aspect of forced gastric lavage. The Supreme Court 2005.1.28, 2003da14119 is the case where a patient, who ingested the organophosphate insecticide to attempt suicide and refused lavage. At first we discuss the effectiveness or hazards of lavage because a very high degree of proof -of negligence, not error of clinical judgment - would be required. Lavage, with or without the informed consent, performed negligently which result in harm could, of course, give rise to a claim in negligence. A doctor might also be held negligent in failing to perform an act which he/she had a duty to perform.

I consider 'Well-being' is man-centered thinking countering to the view of ecology. Then the health of body and spirit is accomplished through the life harmonizing with nature incidentally. 4. It is need for realizing that man and nature have the mercy of Buddha in order to purify a ecosystem and our human society through practicing austerities and meditation. 5. Spirit is regarded as the important thing on Buddhism and traditional Korean medicine based on Orientalism. The purification of human mind is very important for maintaining of a ecosystem through practicing austerities and meditation.

These works were carried on to study the damage due to agricultural chemicals on silkworm and to find out the best ways to use them, considering, in the horticultural field, the utilization of them has rapidly been increased. The results may be summarized as follows: 1) The mulberry leaves being more than 100m from the horticultural field used the agricultural chemicals did not harm the silkworm. 2) Even if the mulberry leaves were located less than loom from the horticultural field sprayed with the chemicals, the silkworms were not injured after washing the mulberry leaves which were attached with the chemicals. 3) The chemicals, E.P.N., B. H. C. 2%, and Selesan were more seriously injured to silkworm than the other ones.

The goal of this study was to find out whether early maladaptive schemas (EMS) can be differentiated between the gifted adolescents and delinquent adolescents. Two groups of adolescents were recruited as participants to be surveyed. 144 gifted adolescents were taken from a gifted science and math education center, and 115 delinquent adolescents who had committed crime were taken from 4 police stations in the area of Gyungnam province in Korea. The Korean version of the Schema Inventory for Children was used to measure the level of the early maladaptive schemas (EMS). Stepwise discriminant function analysis yielded a function containing 5 maladaptive schemas (failure, unrelenting standards, vulnerability to harm and illness, loneness/mistrust/abuse, and subjugation), classifying 75.29 accurately into either gifted adolescents or delinquent adolescents. These results suggested that the types of adolescents (gifted adolescents, and delinquent adolescents) can be predicted based on early maladaptive schemas. The findings are discussed from the perspective of Schema Therapy and school counseling.

Malodorous gases give discomfort and harm to laborers and residential neighborhoods and therefore, the removing odor materials emitted from plants and industrial facilities is important subject. The main ingredients of alkali odor are $NH_3$ and $CE_3SH$. The adsorption characteristics of odors were studied using four different activated carbon fibers(ACF) and active carbon(AC). Alkali odor was removed by using ACF impregnated with $H_3PO_4$ and $H_2SO_4$ and treated with $HNO_3$ and NaOH. The experimental result showed that ACF has a higher removal efficiency than AC. The adsorption capacity was increased with the impregnation and surface treatment, and $H_2SO_4$ was the best impregnant for the removal of alkali odor.

Disorder of Extreme Stress, Not Otherwise Specified (DESNOS) is the proposed diagnosis that meets the severe, complex, and prolonged psychological sequela of victims with chronic traumatization (e.g., family violence, incest, and childhood sexual or physical abuse). The hallmarks of DESNOS are a multiplicity of symptoms (e.g., somatization, dissociation, and depression), pathological changes in relationships, identity disturbances, and a propensity to experience repeated harm and injury at the hands of oneself and others. DESNOS can be directly assessed by Structured Interview of Disorder of Extreme Stress (SIDES) and Self- Report Inventory of Disorder of Extreme Stress (SIDES-SR). The treatment of DESNOS should be phaseoriented and involve movement back and forth among three basic stages : 1) stabilization ; 2) trauma processing ; 3) reintegration.

This article aims at clarifying the formation and accumulation of the "phlegm" in the body. If the phlegm can't be dispelled, it would do great harm to the body health in many aspects, even leading to various diseases which are complex and hard to cure. "phlegm blocking the orifices of the heart", "Gi(氣) activities blocking", "the blood vessels choking", "muscular striae[肌腠] overflowing", " tumor accumulated", "inveterate phlegm loss the path", are the outstanding pathogenic characteristics of the "phlegm". Ancient and modern physicians accumulated rich experiences on preventing and treating the phlegm diseases. Those are worth excavating, organizing and clarifying deeply for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the phlegm diseases efficiently.

Applications of Internet of Things (IoT) supply various conveniences, however unsolved security problems such as personal privacy, data manipulation cause harm to persons, even nations and an limit the applicable areas of Internet of IoT technology. Therefore, study about secure and efficient security system on IoT are required. This paper proposes ID-based remote user authentication scheme in IoT environments. Proposed scheme provides untraceability of users by using different pseudonym identities in every session and reduces the number of variables. Our proposal is secure against inside attack, smart card loss attack, user impersonation attack, server masquerading attack, online/offline password guessing attack, and so on. Therefore, this can be applied to the lightweight IoT environments.
