While searching for healthier diets, people became more attentive to agricultural organic products. However, organic foods may be more susceptible to microbiological contamination because of the use of livestock manure compost and liquid manure, potential sources of pathogenic bacteria. This study was undertaken to investigate the persistence of Salmonella enterica, Escherichia coli O157:H7, and Listeria monocytogenes in soil, liquid manure amended soil, and liquid manure. Loamy soil, liquid manure amended soil, and liquid manure were inoculated with S. enterica, E. coli O157:H7, and L. monocytogenes. Samples were incubated in consistent moisture content at $25^{\circ}C$. Samples had been periodically collected during 120 days depending on the given conditions. S. enterica and E. coli O157:H7 survived over 120 days in loamy soil and over 60 days in liquid manure amended soil, respectively. L. monocytogenes decreased faster than other pathogens in soil. S. enterica, E. coli O157:H7, and L. monocytogenes survived for up to 5 days in liquid manure. S. enterica and E. coli O157:H7 in soil decreased by 2 to $2.5log\;CFU\;g^{-1}$ for 120 days. S. enterica and E. coli O157:H7 in liquid manure amended soil decreased slowly for 21 days. However, S. enterica, E. coli O157:H7, and L. monocytogenes sharply decreased after 21 days. S. enterica, E. coli O157:H7, and L. monocytogenes in soil increased by 0.5 to $1.0log\;CFU\;g^{-1}$ for 7 days. Foodborne pathogens in soil and liquid manure amended soil gradually decreased over time.
A model system for the immnunochemical detection of Escherichia coli O157:H7 using a combined immunomagnetic separation (IMS) and test-strip liposome immunoassay (LIA) procedure was developed. Immunomagnetic beads coated with anti-E. coli O157 IgG antibodies were used to separate the E. coli O157 (including the H7 serotype) from culture. Immunoliposomes, whose surface was conjugated to goat anti-E. coli O157:H7 IgG and which encapsulated the marker dye, sulforhodamine B, were used as a detection label. The test strip, onto which antibodies to goat IgG were immobilized, was the immunosensor capturing immunoliposomes that did not bind to E. coli O157:H7 on the immunomagnetic bead-E. coli O157:H7 complexes. In experiments, pure cell culture suspensions of $10^5 E.$ coli O157:H7 organisms per ml produced a measurable signal inhibition, whereas a weak yet detectable signal inhibition occurred with $10^3CFU/ml$. The inhibition signals increased, when the incubation time for IMS was extended to 90 min and higher IgG-tag density (0.4mol%) was used on the liposomes. With 0.2 and 0.4mol% IgG-tagged liposomes, the IMS-LIA procedure showed more improved signal inhibitions than those of a direct (no IMS) LIA. The combined assay, which measures the instantaneous signal from immunoliposomes, can be completed within 90 min, making it significantly faster than conventional plating methods and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Accordingly, it is quite feasible to use the combined immunoassay format of IMS and dye-loaded immunoliposomes for the detection of E. coli O157:H7.

Salvia bucharica belonging to the family Lamiaceae (Labiatae), afforded a novel terpenoid (1) named as salvatrione. The structure of 1 was elucidated through extensive 2-D NMR experiments and the biogenetic pathway of 1 has also been proposed. On biogenetic grounds, 1 may be considered to be a pseudo-triterpenoid as it is derived from the coupling of mono/ diterpenic units and not from squalene.
80% MeOH extract of black rices fractionated with n-hexane, EtOAc, and n-BuOH. Copper-induced LDL oxidation inhibition assay and ACAT inhibition assay examined with fractions. n-Hexane and EtOAc fractions showed high inhibition activity. We divided n-hexane fraction into three sub-layers(H1 - H3) and EtOAc into eight sub-layers(E1 - E8). H1, H2, E6, and E7 are showed higher inhibition activity than standard in Lp-PLA2 inhibition assay and H1 and E6 are showed higher ACAT inhibition activity than standard.

흔적량 금속이온인 Ag(I), Pd(II), Au(III) 및 Pt(IV)의 dibenzylammonium dibenzyldithiocarbamate(DBADBDC) 착물을 용매추출하기 위한 기초적인 연구를 수행하였다. 금속-DBDC 착물의 수용액과 용매간 분배 및 추출평형에서 분포비와 추출률은 Ag(I)의 경우 pH 0에서 log D=4.226 : E(%)=99.9%, Pd(II)는 pH 4~7에서 log D=1.804 ; E(%)=98.5%, Au(III)는 pH 2~10에서 log D=3.755: E(%)=99.9%, Pt(IV)는 pH 8에서 log D=0.165 : E(%)=57.2%의 최대값을 나타내었다.
The inhibitory effect of the food processing agent on growth of Escherichia coli O157:H7, Salmonella Enteritidis, and Listeria monocytogenes was performed with hydrogen peroxide and lactic acid, and combination of hydrogen peroxide and lactic acid. The minimun inhibitory concentration (MIC) of hydrogen peroxide in E coli O157:H7 was 100 ppm at pH 5.0, 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0, while in Listeria monocytogenes 25 ppm at PH 5.5, 6.0 and 50 ppm at PH 6.5, 75ppm at pH 7.0. MIC of lactic acid in E coli O157:H7 was 2500 ppm at pH 5.0, 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0. MIC of lactic acid in S. Enteritidis was 1250 ppm at pH 5.0, 2500 ppm at pH 5.5, 6.0, 5.5 and 7.0, while in L monocytogenes 625 ppm at pH 5.5 and 125 ppm at pH 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0. MIC of combined hydrogen Peroxide and lactic acid in E. coli O157:H7, S. Enteritidis, and L. monocytogenes was 75 ppm of hydrogen peroxide with 2500 ppm of lactic acid at pH 6.5. The correlations between MICs of hydrogen peroxide and lactic acid in E. coli O157:H7, S. Enteritidis and L. monocytogene were obtained through the coefficient of $determination(R^2)$. $R^2$ value were 0.9994, 0.9935 and 0.9283, respectively. The inhibitory effect of hydrogen peroxide and lactic acid in E. coli O157:H7, S. Enteritidis and L. monocytogenes could be confirmed from the result of this experiment. Therefore, it was expected that the food process would increase or maintain by using lactic acid together with hydrogen peroxide.
Magneto-optic Kerr Effect(MOKE), AFM and magnetoresistance measurements have been carried out on as-deposited and annealed Magnetic Tunnel Junctions(MTJs) with junction sizes 180, 250, 320 and 380 $\mu\textrm{m}$ in order to investigate the correlation among interlayer exchange coupling, surface roughness and junction size. Relatively irregular variations of coercivity $H_{c}$ (∼17.5 Oe) and interlayer exchange coupling $H_{E}$ (∼17.5 Oe) are observed over the junction in as-deposited sample prepared by DC magnetron sputtering. After annealing at $200^{\circ}C$, $H_{c}$ decreases to 15 Oe, while $H_{ E}$ increases to 20 Oe with smooth local variation. $H_{E}$ shows very good correlation with surface roughness across the junction in agreement with Neel's orange peel coupling. The increasing slope per $\mu\textrm{m}$ of normalized $H_{c}$ and $H_{E}$ are same near junction edge along free-layer direction irrespective of junction size, giving relatively uniform $H_{c}$ and $H_{ E}$ for wider junction size. Thickness profiles of the junctions measured with $\alpha$-step show increasingly flat top surface for larger junctions, indicating better uniformity for large. junctions in agreement with the normalized$ H_{c}$ and H$/_{E}$ curves. TMR ratios also increase with increasing junction size, indicating improvement for larger uniform junctions.
연구 결과 D loss의 max는 3.3e-1, min은 6.8e-2, G loss max는 6.9e-2, min은 2.9e-2, A loss는 max 5.8e-1, min은 1.2e-1, Mask R-CNN max는 1.9e0, min은 3.2e-1이다.
Excess enthalpies ($H^{E}$) were measured by isothermal flow calorimetry for the nonionic amphiphile 2-butoxyethanol/water mixtures at 10 different temperatures (48.5 to $70^{\circ}C$) around and above the lower consolute solution temperature, $T_{lc}$. $H^{E}$ exhibits U-shape for the binary mixtures, and is large and negative which reflects substantial interaction between two chemical species. When the commonly used, semi-empirical Redlich-Kister (RK) polynomials were fitted to the measured $H^{E}$, plots of $H^{E}$ vs. weight fraction provided more accurate fitting with fewer parameters than conventionally drawn $H^{E}$ vs. mole fraction plots. This was due to the enhanced symmetry of $H^{E}$ vs. weight fraction plots. Using the fitted Redlich-Kister polynomials and the Gibbs-Helmholtz relation, temperature dependence of the activity coefficients were found and compared to the values determined from vapor-liquid equilibria. The activity coefficients were in the range of one to three, indicating that the binary system deviates from ideality but not substantially. They slightly depended on temperature and the temperature effect was equivalent to 10 % change in the activity coefficients.
