경남지역 화훼산업의 현황과 특징 (Characteristics of the Flower Industry in Gyeongnam Province)

  • 경남지역은 수도권에 이어 우리나라 최대의 화훼류 생산지역이다. 경남지역에서 화훼류가 재배되기 시작한 것은 1960년대 중반으로 우리나라에서 화훼 재배가 가장 먼저 도입된 지역이기도 하다. 경남지역은 2006년에 전국 화훼 재배면적의 16.2%를 차지하고 있으며 판매액으로는 14.3%를 차지하고 있다. 경남지역 화훼류 생산의 가장 큰 특징은 절화류에 특화되어 있다는 점인데, 경남지역 화훼 재배면적 가운데 절화류는 77.6%를 차지하고 있다. 또 다른 특징은 도시 확장과 함께 부산지역을 포함하여 경남지역의 화훼산업이 지속적으로 위축되고 있다는 점이다. 또한, 일본시장에서 중국산 화훼류와의 경쟁도 강화되고 있다. 따라서 장기적으로 경남지역 화훼산업이 지속적으로 성장하기 위해서는 대외적으로 품질 및 가격 경쟁력을 갖추는 것이 무엇보다 시급하며, 대내적으로 가용한 토지를 확보가 시급한 문제라 할 수 있다.

  • Genetically modified domestic animals have many potential applications ranging from basic research to production agriculture. One of the goals in transgenic animal production schemes is to reliably predict the expression pattern of the foreign gene. Establishing a method to screen genetically modified embryos for transgene expression before transfer to surrogates may improve the likelihood of producing offspring with the desired expressing pattern. 경남지역 사육 염소 큐열 항체 양성률 조사 (Seroprevalence of Coxiella burnetii in Korean native goats in Gyeongnam province)

  • Coxiella burnetii is the causative agent of Q fever which is a zoonosis occuring in both humans and animals worldwide. The purpose of this study was to investigate the seroprevalence of C. burnetii in Korean native goat in Gyeongnam province, Korea. A total of 1,365 goat blood samples from 273 farms in Gyeongnam province were collected between 2018 and 2019. Among them, 177 (13.0%) samples out of 71 (26.0%) farms were seropositive for C. burnetii by ELISA. Seroprevalence were 15.4% and 10.9% in 2018 and 2019, respectively. According to the region, seroprevalence in western, central, eastern, northern and southern areas of Gyeongnam province were 16.6%, 17.8%, 8.0%, 11.6% and 10.8%, respectively. Seroprevalence was increased with breeding scale (Head<10:7.0%, 10≤Head<50:8.7%, 50≤Head<100:13.6%, 100≤Head:28.8%). Seroprevalence according to the season showed highest in summer (18.9%) and lowest in winter (9.4%). These results indicated that C. burnetii infection is widespread among Korean native goats of Gyeongnam province in Korea and further study needs to prevent the circulation of other livestock with Korean native goat.

소각시설 소각재의 잔류성 유기오염 물질 분포특성 (The distribution characteristics of persistent organic pollutants in incineration residues at solid waste incinerators)

  • 폐기물공정시험법과 내분비계 장애물질 시험방법을 이용하여 사업장폐기물소각재 24건 및 생활 쓰레기소각재 20건에 대하여 잔류성 유기오염물질의 분포특성을 확인하였다. 12종류의 잔류성 유기오염 물질중에서 7종을 GC-MSD (SIM-mode)로 정량분석을 하였다. 총 44건의 시료 중 21 시료에서 헥사클로로벤젠이 검출되었으며, 나머지는 모두 불검출이었다. 헥사클로로벤젠은 사업장폐기물의 소각재에서는 0.132-8.138 ng/g, 비산재에서는 0.195-5.765 ng/g, 그리고 생활쓰레기 소각장의 소각재에서는 0.270-1.828 ng/g, 비산재에서는 0.154-50.643 ng/g 정도로 각각 검출되었다.

유자과피 분말 첨가가 유화형 소시지의 일반 성분, 무기물, 비타민 A, C 함량 및 지방산 조성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Addition of Citron Peel Powder on the Proximate Composition, Minerals, Vitamin A, C content and Fatty Acid Composition of Emulsion-type Sausage)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effects of addition of citron peel powder(OJ 0/0, 0.60/0, 0.9 %) on proximate composition, minerals, vitamin A, C content and fatty acid composition of emulsion-type sausages. The moisture content of sausage containing 0.3% citron peel powder were significantly(P< 0.05) higher compared to those for control. The crude fat content of sausage containing citron peel powder were significantly( P< 0.05) lower compared to those for control. The crude ash content of sausage containing 0.9% citron peel powder were significantly(P< 0.05) higher compared to those for control. The minerals, vitamin A and C content of sausage containing citron peel powder were significantly(P < 0.05) higher compared to those for control. The palmitic acid(CI6: 0) and linoleic acid(CI8: 2) content of sausage containing citron peel powder were higher compared to those for control, but the palmitoleic acid(CI6: I) content of sausage containing 0.9% citron peel powder were lower. The total saturated fatty acid content of sausage containing 0.3% citron peel powder were significantly(P < 0.05) lower compared to those for control.

사료의 영양소 수준과 성별이 도체 및 육질특성에 미치는 영향 (Interaction between Nutrient Density Diets and Sex on Carcass and Quality Characteristics in Finishing Pigs)

  • The present study was undertaken to investigate the effects of nutrient density diets and sex on carcass and pork quality characteristics in finishing pigs. A total of 96 pigs(58.04 $\pm$ 6.85 kg) were divided into 2 groups(gilts and barrows), each sex group was assigned to 3 nutrient density(high : 18.5%, middle : 16.0% and low: 14.0% CP, respectively) and raised up to 1l0kg live weight. Each treatment had four replicates with three or five pigs per replicate. The treatments comprised the feeding regimes of 1) the low density diet for 60 days, 2) the middle nutrient density diet for the 30 days followed by a low nutrient density diet for the remaining 30 days and 3) the high nutrient density diet for the 30 days followed by a middle nutrient density diet for the remaining 30 days. Pigs were conventionally slaughtered, and then chilled overnight. Carcass characteristics and grades were determined on those carcasses, and pork loin muscle was removed from each left side at 5th to 13th rib for quality evaluation were evaluated. There were no differences in the carcass weight between sex and nutrient density. Dressing percent of L-L(gilts) treatment was significantly higher than that of other treatments(P< 0.05). Barrows showed a thicker back fat thickness than gilts. There were no difference in intramuscular fat, subcutaneous fat and springiness between sex and nutrient density. Intermuscular fat of barrows groups was significantly higher than the gilts groups(P < 0.05). In the meat quality characteristics, there were no difference in general composition, meat and fat color between sex and nutrient density. pH of L-L(gilts) treatment was significantly higher than that of other treatments(P < 0.05). Cooking loss and shear force value of H-M(barrows) treatment were significantly higher than those of other treatments(P< 0.05). Purge loss of barrows groups was significantly higher than the gilts groups(P < 0.05). Myoglobin content of H-M treatment was significantly lower than L-L and M-L treatments(P< 0.05). Texture of H-M treatment was higher than L-L and M-L treatments. The content of myristic, palmitic, palmitoleic and oleic acid were significantly higher in the barrows groups(P< 0.05). However, stearic, linoleic and arachidonic acid were significantly higher in the gilts(P < 0.05). Amino acid content of L-L treatment was significantly higher than M-L and H-M treatments(P < 0.05). In conclusion, carcass and pork quality characteristics were affected by sex and nutrient density.

경남지역 노인요양시설 치매노인의 일상생활행위 전개에 대한 사례연구 (A Case Study on the Development of Daily Living Behaviors of the Elderly with Dementia in Nursing Homes for the Elderly in Gyeongnam-Province)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the basic direction of a desirable space plan for the elderly with dementia by examining the characteristics of the development of daily living behavior of the elderly with dementia. As a research method, First, the literature survey identified the increase in the elderly population in gyeongnam-province and the basic status of 197 elderly care facilities installed and operated in gyeongnam-province, and second, the development of daily living behaviors of eight dementia elderly people in two facilities in the form of overlapping-shaped nursing homes. The results of the survey and analysis are as follows. First, on average, it was found that the elderly with dementia in nursing facilities spend 98.3% of their work hours in the bedroom and the residents' control room. Second, it was found that the elderly with dementia accounted for 57.2% of sleep and idleness, 21.3% of leisure and hobby, and 10.7% of basic behavior. Third, in the development of the daily living behaviors of the elderly with dementia, the time to develop daily living behaviors related to identity and sociality is prominent in the living zone, and the time to develop daily living behaviors related to identity, safety, and family atmosphere is prominent in the public zone.

경남지역 전통 된장의 숙성기간에 따른 품질 특성 및 미생물 군집 비교 (Quality Characteristics and Comparison of Microbial Community in Traditional Doenjang by Aging Period in Gyeongnam Province)

  • This study investigated the microbial community and quality characteristics of traditional soybean pastes (doenjang) based on the aging period in Gyeongnam province. The samples were collected from seven regions in Gyeongnam Province (Goseong, Hadong, Haman, Hamyang, Sacheon, Sancheong and Uiryeong). Contents of moisture, salinity, pH, and acidity of doenjang after 210 days aging were 56.40~65.21%, 9.05~16.08%, 4.88~6.86 and 0.64~2.14%, respectively. Lightness significantly decreased over the aging period, while the redness tended to increase over the aging period. Yellowness was from 21.39~26.81 to 21.10~28.36. Reducing sugar content was from 0.31~1.45% to 0.11~3.13%. The amino-type content increased from 141.87~495.13 mg/100 g to 328.53~823.67 mg/100 g. In contrast, the ammonia-type content declined from 136.74~364.70 mg/ 100 g to 128.62~331.00 mg/100 g. The overall total microbial count did not significantly differ, but it tended to decrease in sample GD4. Fungus declined overall or was not detected. Coliform groups were not detected in all samples. Lactobacillus and Bacillus cereus tended to decrease over the aging period. The common fungus and bacterium were Aspergillus oryzae and Tetragenococcus halophilus, respectively. After the aging period, the predominant fungi were Candida versatilis, Candida apicola, and Debaryomyces hansenii. The predominant bacteria were Tetragenococcus halophilus and Cronobacter sakazakii.

경남 지역의 반닫이에 관한 연구 (A Study on Bandage, Chests with Half-opened Doors, in Gyeongnam Province)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of the common people and the furniture they used and to investigate the general characteristics of traditional Korean culture in the late Chosun Dynasty in order to study the Characteristics of Bandagein Gyeongnam province. Local characteristics of the Bandaji were examined through comparing local style of Folk Houses Interior space composition and the utilization Bandaji of that space through the case study and literature review. Bandagein Gyeongnam province are classified as Tongyeong, Jinju, Miryang, Namhae, Yangsan, Gimhae. The height of Bandaji is relatively lower than in other provinces, the metal ornaments are simple, and the wood pattern is used to show simple and natural beauty. As a characteristic of metal decoration, Bandaji of Miryang have a lot of openwork decoration, Bandaji in Jinju have a cicada hinge and a decorative iron hook, Bandaji in Namhae have a peak of a lotus flowers shaped hinge and Ying-yang/ number pattern on openwork facet and Bandajji in Yangsan have a Violin hinge and Bandajji in Gimhae have emphasized ornamental features by using a rivet and lock made of tin and the cast iron.

인삼분말 첨가가 프레스햄 품질 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Ginseng Powder Additives on Quality Characteristics of Press Ham)

  • 일반적인 프레스햄을 대조구로 설정하고, 인삼 분말 첨가수준을 달리하여 4처리구로 설정하였으며, 등심 원료육 중량에 대하여 처리구별로 $0.5\%$(처리구 1), $1\%$(처리구 2), $1.5\%$(처리구 3), $2\%$(처리구 4)를 첨가하여 프레스햄을 제조한 후 진공포장하여 냉장온도($4^{\circ}C$)에서 1, 7, 14, 21 및 28일간 저장하면서 일반성분, 이화학적 특성 분석(pH, 육색)및 조직감 등을 조사하여 품질 특성을 규명하고자 실시하였다. 일반 성분 조성은 대조구와 인삼 분말 처리구 간에 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 인삼 분말 첨가구의 pH는 대조구에 비하여 유의적으로 낮았으며(p<0.05), 모든 처리구가 저장기간이 경과함에 따라 증가하였다. 육색중 명도와 황색도는 대조구에 비하여 인삼분말 첨가구가 유의적으로 높았으며, 적색도는 대조구가 인삼분말 첨가구에 비하여 유의적으로 높았다. 육색은 저장기간이 경과하여도 변화가 없었다. 조직감은 대조구와 인삼 분말첨가구 간에 유의적인 차이는 있었지만 뚜렷한 경향이 없었으며, 모든 처리구가 저장기간이 경과하여도 뚜렷한 경향이 없었다. 이상의 결과 프레스햄 제조시 인삼분말 첨가가 이화학적 특성 및 조직감에 영향을 미치지 않으며, 제품의 사포닌 성분이 축적된 고급 육제품 생산이 가능하다고 사료된다.
