In this paper, we consider an iterative learning control system(ILCS) consisting of an iterative learning controller, a feedback controller and a controlled plant in the frequency domain. At first, we review the convergence of ILCS. And we give some design guidelines of the ILCS using a nominal model of the plant. Then we present the structured and the unstructured uncertainty bound which guarantees the convergence of the designed iterative learning controller. In particular, we analyze the relationship between the convergence and the magnitude and phase uncertainties. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed analysis and design guidelines, we present some simulation examples. (author). 13 refs., 5 figs.

The WHO/International Agency for Research on Cancer(IARC) has classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic to humans(Group 2B), based on an increased risk for glioma, a malignant type of brain cancer, associated with wireless phone use on 31, May 2011. It takes 10 years after announcing the electric magnetic as possibly carcinogenic to humans(Group 2B) and 14 years after starting research project. It is too late as mentioned, too weak in terms of the same class to 'pickles & coffee' and too little in terms of using words 'more studies required'. The guidelines on human exposure to electromagnetic fields have been developed to provide guidance to identify the safety of exposure to electromagnetic fields. On the recent recommendations of safety guidelines, there has been discussion on possible chronic effects of electromagnetic fields with much lower or no threshold. This paper riviews the global trends of safety guidelines and has suggested the new guidelines for protecting the human health, wildlife and insects.

Computer simulation is widely known as a very powerful and practical tool to understand behaviors of considered systems and evaluate design alternatives. However, to use simulation technologies, one should acquire simulation languages, statistics, etc. Also, lots of resources such as time and money are necessary to develop models and analyze statistical data. These obstacles prevent one from adopting simulation tools easily. This paper presents practical guidelines for successful application of simulation. Firstly, we propose how to acquire simulation tools to help one who is going to use simulation techniques. Next guidelines are for introducing simulation software set including simulation and support softwares. Lastly, guidelines for simulation project management are presented.

The number of share houses has increased in Korea, and social recognition of this type of housing is also growing. In order to review current conditions and housing systems for share houses, an analysis of rooming house, a type of share house that is built overseas, was carried out. This study focused on studying rooming houses of Canada. Residents occupy in rooms and share common spaces with other tenants in rooming houses. The purpose of this research is to study planning guidelines, systems, operation management of rooming houses and the process and role of public and citizen participation. Based on characteristics of planning guidelines and operation management for rooming houses, implications which can be used for setting institutional and planning foundations for share houses in Korea have been presented through this research.

본 연구는 일본의 다문화공생에 관한 지침과 집행사례에 관한 연구를 통해서 한국의 다문화사회에 관한 입법정책과 정책적 지침, 실질적인 집행에 주는 시사점을 얻는 것을 그 목적으로 하고 있다. 구체적으로는 서구의 다문화주의와는 다른 일본의 다문화공생의 특징을 살펴보고, 일본정부의 추진 지침과 그 현황, 그리고 지자체의 지원사례를 통해 정책적인 함의를 도출한다. 결론적으로 장기에 거친 일본정부의 다문화공생의 지침과 지자체를 통한 유형별 집행이 사회통합에 도움을 줄 수 있음을 밝혔다.

보육공간환경은 영유아의 성장과 발달에 큰 영향을 미친다. 영유아의 건강과 안전을 고려한 쾌적한 공간환경을 구축하는 것이 큰 사회적 과제로 여겨지고 있다. 본 연구를 통해 국내외 가이드라인의 보육공간환경을 비교 분석하여, 보육환경의 쾌적함과 지속가능성을 보완할 수 있는 가이드라인을 제안하였다. 유니버설 디자인을 비롯하여 영유아의 스케일을 고려한 치수 기준, 온도, 환기, 조명 등의 환경기준, 가구와 마감재의 친환경성 등에 대한 제안이 추가된 통합 가이드라인을 도출하였다.

Stem cell-based products (SCPs) are an emerging field of veterinary medicine that focuses on the regeneration, repair, or replacement of damaged tissues or organs. However, there are some issues in applying the traditional regulatory guideline for the approval of SCPs as veterinary medicinal products. This article describes the positions of Korea, US, and EU regarding SCPs, and compares the regulatory guidelines of each country for their safety evaluation. Although there are some differences in the regulatory guidelines, similar considerations in identifying the quality of SCPs and their safety has adopted. Overall, these guidelines need to be harmonized among countries.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effects of nursing students' ethical awareness, ethical decision-making and attitude toward performance on intention about performance of infection control guidelines in pandemic infectious diseases. Methods: The survey was performed on 163 nursing students in three universities. Data were collected using a structured questionnaires and analyzed with t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results: Perceived health status, ethical awareness and attitude toward performance of infection control guidelines about major commitment were significant predictive variables. These variables accounted for 48.1% of the variance in major commitment. Conclusion: The findings indicate the necessity of developing educational programs to enhance nursing students's ethical awareness, and increase performance of control guidelines to prepare for the pandemic infectious diseases.

Recently, the fire safety of road tunnels has been important issues in South Korea. However, proper fire safety regulations has not made for road tunnels. Due to geographical challenges in South Korea, road tunnels should be constructed to secure stable traffic flows. In the Guidelines for Installing and Managing Disaster Prevention Facilities of Road Tunnels (NFSC 603), main target vehicles are passenger cars. This guidelines cannot support big fires from larger vehicles such as cargo, oil trucks. In this study, fire safety for a road tunnel in port area was analyzed with fire dynamics theory under cargo truck fire scenario. Sujunsan road tunnel in Busan city was chosen as a target tunnel, which links between Busan port and highways to increase cargo shipping. The results show the limitations of present guidelines (NFSC 603) for road tunnel from large fire situations.

Endometriosis is a prevalent benign illness defined by the presence of endometrial glands and stroma outside of the uterine cavity, primarily on the ovary, pelvic peritoneum, and rectovaginal septum, resulting in a variety of symptoms, including dysmenorrhea and infertility. Traditionally, prolonged medical therapy has been needed in most cases since a conservative approach to surgery has usually been taken, especially in young women. In 2022, new European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) guidelines were published that present different directions for diagnosis and treatment from the past. Furthermore, the guidelines for the diagnosis and management of endometriosis are more precise and applicable than in previous editions. Thus, referring to the representative changes in the new guidelines and important updates will be beneficial for the diagnosis and management of endometriosis. This paper provides a brief overview of these developments.
