현재 청원경찰과 민간경비 운용에 있어 가장 문제시 되고 있는 것은 국가중요시설 등에 있어서의 청원경찰에 의한 경비와 민간경비가 동시에 실시되는 경우이다. 본 발표에서는 청원경찰과 민간경비의 이원적 운용체제에서 오는 문제점을 제기해 봄으로써 그 비효율성을 지적하고 논의함으로서 양 제도의 통합 내지 단일화를 위한 논의의 전제 조건이 된다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다. 발표자는 다음의 제언을 통해 민간경비업의 건전육성을 위한 검토과제로서 논의를 전개하고자 한다. 첫째, 사건 발생시 신속하고 책임있는 대응조치를 취할 수 있는 실질적인 지휘 및 감독이 행해져야 한다. 둘째, 비용의 경제성, 배치의 신속성, 관리의 용이성에 따른 배치와 비용이 이루어져야 한다, 셋째, 이원적법적지위로 인한 신분상의 갈등은 제고되어야 한다. 넷째, 민간경비와 청원경찰간의 무기휴대의 법적 문제는 제고되어야 한다.

Appendicitis is a common disease in children. But left lower abdominal pain in acute appendicitis is a rare clinical feature. A 6 year-old-girl complained of left sided abdominal pain for 2 days. Past medical history was not contributory. Abdominal tenderness and guarding in left lower quadrant were noticed. Abdominal sonography and abdominal computed tomography scan demonstrated reversed position between superior mesenteric artery and vein, and a mass in the left lower quadrant abdomen suggesting appendicitis. Acute appendicitis in left lower quadrant, associated with intestinal malrotation, was found at laparatomy.

Male red-spotted newts, Notophthalmus viridescens, use chemical cues to locate and select potential mates. To investigate whether large and small males respond differentially to chemical cues from conspecifics, we conducted a series of two-choice Y-maze tests with odorant stimuli from two large females (LF/LF), one large versus one small female (LF/SF), and one large female placed with four males versus one small female (LF+4M/SF). We found that males responded more rapidly in a LF/LF choice situation than in those involving LF/SF or LF+4M/SF. In addition, small males chose more quickly than did large males. These results suggest that both body size and odorant context affect the speed of odorant responses. By responding differentially to conspecific chemical cues, small males may arrive earlier at a courting area, increasing their chances of successfully guarding and mating with a female.

Changing demographics, changing lifestyles. An international group of architects designs the homes of the future in places diverse as USA, Japan, South America and Europe. These architecture are also challenging the traditional structure of the private house, as we know it. Many of these architects are reinterpreting the private house, challenging traditional notions of what makes house. Here, the interior and exterior surfaces are transformed into 'smart skins', which blur the distinction between the digital and the real and become a part of the daily life of the occupants. The smart house will make possible amazing things we though existed only in science fiction, guarding or welfare, guessing our moods and catering to our demands in music, movies, temperature and ambience. And new materials will further transform our living areas.

Elimination of dangerous points is the most effective method for safety in mechanical equipments. The next effective method is recognized as isolation and/or safe-guarding of dangerous spots from human beings. With progress of mechanical automation technique such as industrial robots, the need for safe-guard-ins is now being enlarged. It is needless to say that when a machine-guard is designed and installed, a comprechensive understanding of human movement is indispensable. But in this country, there is no scientific for those thems, and no one verifield whether it is valid to apply general guideline such as OSHA's to Korean or not. Further, basic anthropometric items for safety reach standards are neither availble nor included in nation-wide anthropometry project. In this research, human anthropometry data of Korean youngsters are analyzed for safety barrier and safety slit width, and compared with guidelines of other countries-Germany, United Kingdom, Japan, and USA. Though they are standards for safety, since they are based upon their own peoples' data, some of them especially foot reach are not not applicable in this country. It should be notified that careful application of numeric value is very important.

The sound source localization system is used to some area such as robotic system, object localization system, guarding system and medicine. So time delay estimation and angle estimation of sound direction are studied until now. These days time delay estimation is described in LabVIEW which is used to create innovative computer-based product and deploy measurement and control systems. In this paper, the development of signal monitoring platform is presented for sound source localization. This platform is designed in virtual instrument program and implemented in two stages. In first stage, data acquisition system is proposed and designed to analyze time delay estimation using cross correlation. In second stage, data obtaining system which is applied and designed to monitor analog signal processing is proposed.

The article deals with the problematic issues of defining information as an object of private relations. Definitions that they are intangible and non-consumable by nature, are inextricably linked to a specific material carrier are/or secured by the subject that transmits them, messages, and information that have quantitative and qualitative characteristics, and are capable of having a freight or another value, and in case of its illegal usage causing damage and moral harm.

Objective : We have studied the part, definition, diagnostic generaliztion and pathological viewpoint of Qi mouth and Renying by refering literatures Methods : I refered to records from anciant to modern. The results are followings : 1. Qi mouth and Renying is ancient diagnostic method and the origin of diagnostic method through the pulsation of radial artery. And Qi mouth is recognized as the right and left Qi mouth and Renying is located on pulsation points of both common carotid arteries. 2. The yin of five viscera, nutritional blood and viscous liquid are diagnosed by Qi mouth which is inclued lung meridian. And the yang of six organs, guarding Qi and the rise and fall of stomach energy are diagnosed by Renying which is inclued stomach meridian. 3. It is possible that the position, process and transformational condition of disease are decided by comparing and examining Qi mouth and Renying.

In this paper, we design and implement the DC characteristic measurement system for semiconductor devices. The proposed system is composed of 4 SMU(Source and Measure Unit) channels. Various efforts in hardware and software have been made to reduce the measurement errors. Internal and external sources of errors in measurement system especially in pA range measurement have been identified and removed. Also, various digital signal processing techniques are developed. Calibration is executed under the control of microprocessor periodically. Experimental results show that the implemented system can measure the DC characteristic of semiconductor devices with less than 0.2% error in various voltage and current source/measurement range.

Gasa was a surplice of Buddhist monk. It was usually worn in the religious ceremony. Gasa was such a religious cloth that was ruled strongly by Buddha's Commandments, and a kind of cloth that was also reflected by historical, cultural, and ideological factors of each nation. Korean Gasa had various features comparing to the Original Gasa or to that of South Asia which is the birthplace of Buddhism. One of them was 天 王 embroideries that we could find upon the regular square base in the four comers of Korean Gasa. These figures symbolized the Four Devas which were believed guarding Buddhist sanctum. These Devas appeared from the era of the Three Kingdoms when Buddhism imported. Buddhism as a alien religion had been developed through conflicting and fusing with Korean traditional religious characteristics into type of 'Faith to Three Treasures' (Buddha, Buddhist Commandments, Buddhist monk). They believed that embroidering 天 王 figures upon the regular square bases in the four corners were able to protect Buddhist monk by the help of Four Devas. We might say this as a kind of Faith to Buddhist monk.
