Adjustment Effect for Coping Strategy from Fatigue Scale of Security Guard's on Emotional Labor (시큐리티요원의 감정노동이 피로도에 미치는 영향 및 스트레스 대처방식의 조절효과)

  • This study was conducted to provide the basic data for improving the working environment and welfare level of the security guard by identifying the primary effects of stress response on fatigue with emotional labor and identifying the adjustment effects with coping strategy. The data were collected from 214 security personnel using questionnaire and the statistical tests of correlation, heavy return analysis and hierarchical return analysis using the SPSS 18.0 statistics program were used to reach the conclusion that: First, it has been shown that the emotional labor of a security guard affects fatigue Second, the effects of emotional labor on fatigue of a security guard have been shown to have the effect of coping strategy. Based on the above studies, it was concluded that the emotional labor of a security guard was affected by fatigue and could be controlled by a stress coping strategy. Therefore, it is believed that there is a need to seek an autonomous corporate culture based on the organization's performance by changing the management system for employees at the organizational level so that security guards can use an active way of coping.

Throughput Performance of Slotted ALOHA Communication System with Guard Time and Capture Effect (신호점유 현상과 보호시간을 고려한 슬롯형 알로아 통신 시스템의 성능분석)

  • In a bursty user traffic mode, ALOHA random multiple access protocol achieves higher performance than any conventional fixed assignment technique. One of central problems in slotted ALOHA is synchronization. Because of the long propagation delay in satellite mobile communication, packet may be spilt over into adjacent slots and thus guard time may be included between packet intervals. In conventional ALOHA channels, simultaneous transmission by two or more users results in a collision : the unsuccessful packets have to be retransmitted according to some retransmission algorithm. However, in a radio environment, users are often at different distances from the receiver : therefore, their received signals have substantially different power levels. The packet arriving with the highest energy now has a good chance of being detected accurately. Similarly, in some spread-spectrum random access systems, the earliest arriving packet dominates later arriving packets and thus captures the channel. In this paper slotted ALOHA channel with non zero guard time and capture probability is studied. Using the Markovian model, the performance of slotted ALOHA with guard time and capture effects is derived and compared with that of the conventional ALOHA via numerical analysis.

A Study on a Design for the Korean Coast Guard Uniform (한국 해양경찰복제 디자인 연구)

  • As a follow-up of a study on design strategies to improve Korea's Korean coast guarduniforms, this study set out to propose Korean coast guard uniforms of a new concept that would meet the changing needs of the times and match the advanced technology and work environments. Three concepts of classical, nautical and techno chic were identified from the design strategies of the previous study. Using the results from a prototype show and preference survey, the investigator divided items into design, color, material, and detail and reflects demands for each of them. As a result, design was examined in four aspects of identity, acknowledgement, unity, and practicality and focused its improvement factors on design differentiated from other organizations' uniforms including ground police, segmentation of size system, adjustment of the length of upper garment to consider activity, and changes to the lines and silhouette to give out a modern image. As for color, the focus was placed on differentiated colors from other organizations' uniforms including ground police through dark blue and ocean color, change toward colors that reflect environmental characteristics, and unity in colors between the summer and winter uniform. As for material, the focus of improvement was put on elasticity, resistance against contamination, warmth retention, texture, wearing sensation, and functionality by taking into account convenience for field workers on coast guard vessels and branch offices who have much time in contact with ocean environments in order to make the materials high-grade. As for detail, structural details were added to give out a modern image such as changing the detail lines, efficiency of storage space, buttons, sleeve hems, ironing lines, and neck collars by taking into account environmental characteristics. The significance of the study lies in that it proposed a development model for large-scale uniform copy design by establishing copy design that secures functionality and is proper for an organization's social and cultural environment.

Effect Analysis of Guard Band and Quantization Level on BER Performance in OBP Satellite Systems (OBP 위성 시스템에서 보호 대역과 양자화 레벨이 BER 성능에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • MCDD performs demultiplexing and demodulation of multi-carrier signals for signal processing schemes such as switching, channel encoding and remodulation in an OBP satellite. During the demultiplexing procedure, several factors such as frequency offset and/or quantization error degrade BER performance. Hence, influences of those factors should be reduced. A influence of the frequency offset can be reduced by inserting guard band between channels, and that of quantization error can be decreased by quantization level control. In case that the data rate of system is not limited, the guard band and the quantization level do not affect each other. In the other case, however, mutual influence between them should be considered. In this paper, we observe the mutual influence when the data rate of the MCDD is limited, and analyze the BER performance.

  • It has been long time since the social concern about school safety was fully raised in our country. The accidents, such as sexual violence against young children, traffic accident when going to and from school, psychological violence by bullying, extorting money & violence and so on, frequently happen. Under the circumstances that this kind of school safety problems are concerned greatly by society, it is very important for schools to create the environment in which children can have a safe living. The study focuses on the necessity and introduction of a professional school police system to establish the sexual violence prevention system in advance. The system, practically and systematically organized, can prevent various kinds of safety accidents and form the agreement of family, regional society, and related institutions alike. It is also supposed to emphasize the strengthening of school safety by its operation.

Performance Analysis of OFDM/QPSK System in Frequency Selective Rayleigh Fading Channel with Impulsive Noise (임펄스 잡음과 주파수 선택성 레일리 페이딩이 공존하는 통신로에서 OFDH/QPSK 시스템의성능 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyze the BER performance of OFDM/QPSK system in frequency selective Rayleigh fading channel with impulsive noise and improve its performance by adopting convolutional coding. When the channel delay time is shorter than the guard band, the OFDM/QPSK system shows a good BER performance while, when the channel delay time becomes longer than the guard band, its BER performance is abruptly degraded. Moreover, when the transmitted signal is contaminated by a strong impulsive noise in the channel, the BER performance falls to about $10^{-1}$. Also, without channel coding technique, the system doesn't meet even the voice service requirement while it meets the data service requirement with convolutional coding in frequency selective Rayleigh fading channel with impulsive noise.

  • The efficiency of the data share service of P2P method is decided by the maintaining guard method of a sharing list, This paper suggests the data sharing system of the P2P base that it should retain a shared data list at a client, The Server at a proposed system guards inclusively client. divided into several groups and at each individual group, a client appointed the TopHost uses the method guarding a free share list of a applicating group, The TopHost designs to execute it relating with server in case of the mergence and the division of a group as well as a maintaining management of a data share list, The efficiency of the suggested system regard the maintaining guard of groups formed of a client of the appropriate level of a kernel and exams examination to measure it through a really executed data share service.

  • Cloud computing provides each consumer with a large-scale computing tool. Different Cyber Attacks can potentially target cloud computing systems, as most cloud computing systems offer services to many people who are not known to be trustworthy. Therefore, to protect that Virtual Machine from threats, a cloud computing system must incorporate some security monitoring framework. There is a tradeoff between the security level of the security system and the performance of the system in this scenario. If strong security is needed, then the service of stronger security using more rules or patterns is provided, since it needs much more computing resources. A new way of security system is introduced in this work in cloud environments to the VM on account of resources allocated to customers are ease. The main spike of Fog computing is part of the cloud server's work in the ongoing study tells the step-by-step cloud server to change the tremendous measurement of information because the endeavor apps are relocated to the cloud to keep the framework cost. The cloud server is devouring and changing a huge measure of information step by step to reduce complications. The Medical Data Health-Care (MDHC) records are stored in Cloud datacenters and Fog layer based on the guard intensity and the key is provoked for ingress the file. The monitoring center sustains the Activity Log, Risk Table, and Health Records. Cloud computing and Fog computing were combined in this paper to review data movement and safe information about MDHC.

CP-OFDM System using Circular Polarization (원편파를 이용한 CP-OFDM 시스템)

  • This paper proposes a CP-OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing using Circular Polarization) system for improving the system performance. The circular polarization has a characteristic that it cannot receive the reflected waves which are reflected by odd times. By reducing the influences of the reflected waves, the circular polarization can reduce the time delay spread and the inter-channel interference. The guard interval needed for the OFDM frame can be minimized and the orthogonality between subchannels can be improved by using circular polarization. Therefore the proposed CP-OFDM system can improve the system performance as well as the spectrum efficiency. Both theoretical analysis and system simulation results are described.

Development Plan of Guard Service According to the LBS Introduction (경호경비 발전전략에 따른 위치기반서비스(LBS) 도입)

  • Like to change to the information-oriented society, the guard service needs to be changed. The communication and hardware technology develop rapidly and according to the internet environment change from cable to wireless, modern person can approach every kinds of information service using wireless communication machinery which can be moved such as laptop, computer, PDA, mobile phone and so on, LBS field which presents the needing information and service at anytime, anywhere, and which kinds of device expands it's territory all the more together with the appearance of ubiquitous concept. LBS use the chip in the mobile phone and make to confirm the position of the joining member anytime within several tens centimeters to hundreds meters. LBS can be divided by the service method which use mobile communication base station and apply satellite. Also each service type can be divided by location chase service, public safe service, location based information service and so on, and it is the part which will plan with guard service development. It will be prospected 8.460 hundred million in 2005 years and 16.561 hundred million in 2007 years scale of market. Like this situation, it can be guessed that the guard service has to change rapidly according to the LBS application. Study method chooses documentary review basically, and at first theory method mainly uses the second documentary examination which depends on learned journal and independent volume which published in the inside and the outside of the country, internet searching, other kinds of all study report, statute book, thesis which published at public order research institute of the Regional Police Headquarter, police operation data, data which related with statute, documents and statistical data which depend on private guard company and so on. So the purpose of the study gropes in accordance with the LBS application, and present the problems and improvement method to analyze indirect of manager side of operate guard adaptation service of LBS, government side which has to activate LBS, systematical, operation management, manpower management and education training which related with guard course side which has to study and educate in accordance with application of the new guard service, as well as intents to excellent quality service of guard.
