Non-Caucasian populations have a considerably lower factor Ⅴ Leiden allele frequency than Caucasian populations. Thus, it may be due to differences in the genetic background as well as environmental factors.

The aqua-pet industry has been growing rapidly in the world's developed countries as well as Japan and Europe, but it was a small scale in compared with fisheries part, and political interest came mainly limited to food industry and research in Korea so that it has not been activated. Recently, a paradigm change for fisheries policy bring to have a interest in the aqua-pet industry as future growth power source. Therefore, this study shows that the advanced aqua-pet industry of Japan would be researched and analyzed in historical background, national interest and current aquarium market scale in order to predict the domestic aqua-pet industry rapidly developed in Korea.

Background and Objectives： Heat shock protein(HSP) 27 is a member of the small HSP family that plays a part in the epithelial cell growth and differentiation, wound healing. apoptosis and cell protection against inflammatory cytotoxic mediators. The expression of HSP27 was investigated in normal laryngeal tissue and squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx. Materials and Methods : We studied expression of HSP27 by Western blot on 20 patients of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma. Results： HSP27 expressed in all normal and cancer tissues. In 9 cases(45%), expression of HSP27 more prominent in cancer tissue. Statistically, there were no significant difference in the expression of HSP27 in normal and cancer tissue, clinical stage and tumor differentiation. Conclusion 45% of cancer tissues was more prominent than normal tissue. But further studies on expression of HSP27 in laryngeal cancer and relationship with clinical parameter should be done.

There is no denying that computing power has been a crucial driving force behind the development of artificial intelligence today. In addition, artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductors and computing systems are perceived to have promising industrial value in the market along with rapid technological advances. Therefore, success in this field is also meaningful to the nation's growth and competitiveness. In this context, ETRI's AI strategy proposes implementation directions and tasks with the aim of strengthening the technological competitiveness of AI semiconductors and computing systems. The paper contains a brief background of ETRI's AI Strategy #2, research and development trends, and key tasks in four major areas: 1) AI processors, 2) AI computing systems, 3) neuromorphic computing, and 4) quantum computing.

Many methods to assess hazards caused by the risks increased with the growth of petrochemical industry. The manual of International Atomic Energy Agency which was much more applied to quantitative analysis of the real situation and the CPQRA is introduced to verify the theoretical background of this manual. Than other methods, as a result, we can see that this manual, which is simple to use and requires a little information, shows similar results to those of calculation by numerical formula. Also, the program code of this manual was materialized and if it is possible to obtain adequate parameters to our circumstance, the manual will be quite useful in early risk analysis.

With much attention being paid to the rapid growth of wrist-worn smart devices, this study aimed to examine the micro-processes that determine an individual's adoption of smart bands and smartwatches. Primarily relying on the theoretical background of the extended technology acceptance model (TAM II), this study explored relationships between three groups of predictors-social, personal, and device-oriented-and the three main components of the original TAM: perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), and behavioral intention (BI). Results from the path analysis indicated multiple factors played significant roles in increasing the PU, PEOU, and BI of wristworn smart devices: subjective norms, social image, self-efficacy, perceived service diversity, and perceived reasonable cost. The main findings from this research contribute to significantly improving the understanding of the main factors leading people to adopt wrist-worn smart devices.

Skeletal muscle metabolism regulates homeostatic balance in animals. The metabolic impact persists even after farm animal skeletal muscle is converted to edible meat through postmortem rigor mortis and aging. Muscle metabolites resulting from animal growth and postmortem storage have a significant impact on meat quality, including flavor and color. Metabolomics studies of postmortem muscle aging have identified metabolisms that contain signatures inherent to muscle properties and the altered metabolites by physiological adaptation, with glycolysis as the pivotal metabolism in postmortem aging. Metabolomics has also played a role in mining relevant postmortem metabolisms and pathways, such as the citrate cycle and mitochondrial metabolism. This leads to a deeper understanding of the mechanisms underlying the generation of key compounds that are associated with meat quality. Genetic background, feeding strategy, and muscle type primarily determine skeletal muscle properties in live animals and affect post-mortem muscle metabolism. With comprehensive metabolite detection, metabolomics is also beneficial for exploring biomarker candidates that could be useful to monitor meat production and predict the quality traits. The present review focuses on advances in farm animal muscle metabolomics, especially postmortem muscle metabolism associated with genetic factors and muscle type.

III- V ferromagnetic semiconductor has attracted great attention as a potential application for spintronics due to a successful demonstration of spin injection from ferromagnetic GaNnAs into semiconductor. GaMnN may be one of the possible candidates for room temperature operation. Samples were grown on sapphire (0001) substrate at $650^{\circ}C$ via molecular beam epitaxy with a single Precursor of (Et$_2$Ga(N$_3$)NH$_2$$CH_3$) and solid source of Mn at different Mn source temperature. The background pressure is low 10$^{-10}$ Torr and the samples growth pressure was 1.4 $\times$ 10$^{-6}$ Torr.

In this talk I will review recent progress that the SDSS-IV / eBOSS collaboration has made in constraining cosmology from the clustering of galaxies, quasars and the Lyman-alpha forest. The SDSS-IV / eBOSS collaboration has measured the baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO) and redshift space distortion (RSD) features in the correlation function in redshift bins from z~0.15 to z~2.33. These features constitute measurements of angular diameter distances, Hubble distances, and growth rate measurements. A number of consistency tests have been performed between the BAO and RSD datasets and additional cosmological datasets such as the Planck cosmic microwave background constraints, the Pantheon Type Ia supernova compilation, and the weak lensing results from the Dark Energy Survey. Taken together, these joint constraints all point to a broad consistency with the standard model of cosmology LCDM + GR, though they remain in tension with local measurements of the Hubble parameter.
