We successfully developed a high performance and highly reliable blazed GxL device with a high optical efficiency and a high contrast ratio. The device demonstrated superior resistance against a high power laser, which is suitable for a large-area laser projector. We operated the world's largest laser projection screen using this device at the 2005 World Exposition in Aichi, Japan, problem free.

We developed a novel PVA pixel design for mobile application with excellent off-axis image quality and optical performance by introducing Active Level Shift technology and optimizing pixel structure. Our new pixel design enables better off-axis image quality without sacrificing other optical properties compared with a conventional mPVA structure.

Mobile technology appears promising as a method to promote group performance in circumstances dependent on time, but not member proximity. However, the success of mobile technology in group decision-making situations has not yet been proven. This paper aims to see how mobile technology affects the performance of group decision-making tasks that should be resolved urgently and/or sources of idea are disconnected with on-line network. Laboratory experiment was used to investigate the effects of mobile factors on group decision-making. The results from the experiment supported the proposition that pressures of time and location play a significant role in the assessment of group decision performance measures. We found that the adoption of mobile technology to group decision-making procedures might be competitive when group decision-making tasks are urgent and sources of idea are disconnected with on-line network, even though mobile technology is not a panacea on which to depend when designing group decision-making.

센서 데이터 스트림 처리 기술은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 핵심 기술로 그 중요성이 날로 증대되어, 현재 산업계는 물론 학계에서도 그 역량을 이에 집중하고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 센서 데이터 스트림에 대한 특징 및 이를 처리하기 위한 산업계와 학계의 동향을 알아본다. 그리고, 대용량 센서데이터 스트림을 처리하기 위해 요구되어지는 기능을 정리하고, 이를 기반으로 센서 데이터 스트림처리 시스템의 구조를 설계한다.

Due to industrial advancement and environmental concerns, there is a demand for light-weight material parts with high-performance characteristics. In order to meet this demand, various studies have been conducted on developing high-performance castings to achieve composite features by coating only specific parts that require high performance, with dissimilar joining, rather than coating the entire material part. This study analyzed the possibility of forming a local composite layer on an aluminum alloy through evaporation pattern casting, and the effects of parameters on the aluminum alloy.

The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of sesaminol glucosides (SG) on age-related cognitive deficits in senescence-accelerated mice P8 (SAMP8). Male SAMP8 (9 month-old) were randomly divided into 3 groups and received diets containing 0, 0.25, or 0.5% SG for 12 weeks. Step-through latency of the SAMP8 control group was higher than that of the senescence-accelerated resistant mice (SAMR) group, whereas it was lowered in the SG-supplemented group on the passive-avoidance test. In the Morris water maze, the escape latency of the SAMP8 control group was increased and recovered in the 0.5% SG-supplemented group. The SG supplementation significantly decreased thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS) levels in brains of the SAMP8. On the other hand, catalase, superoxide dismutase, and glutathione peroxidase activities in brains of the SG supplemented group decreased compared with the SAMP8 control group. These results suggest that SG could attenuate cognitive deficits caused by aging through its antioxidant capacity.

In this paper presented the net forging technology of planetary gear after much experiment and analysis, technology of two forging processes after billet being one -time heated, and cold net forging was adopted to ensure the gear forming quality. In the process of die producing, electrical rod NC cutting technology was used .the test and application has proved the net forging gear has reached higher quality and met the requirement of design. The net forging gear technology had been put into production.
