입도가 다른 고아미 가루로 만든 모닝빵의 품질 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quality Characteristics of Morning Buns Made from Different Particle Sizes of Goami Powder)

  • 본 연구는 식이섬유가 풍부한 고아미 소비를 증가하고자 밀가루 대신 고아미 쌀가루로 모닝빵을 제조하고자 하였다. 고아미 가루의 입도는 5분, 10분, 15분, 20분 분쇄기에 갈아 달리하였으며, 밀가루반죽과 같은 경도를 찾기 위해 물의 양을 달리하여 고아미 반죽의 경도를 측정한 결과 최적의 물의 양은 119 mL~218 mL 이었다. GB4는 60분경과 발효율이 가장 좋았으며, 모닝빵의 부피는 밀가루 모닝빵이 가장 컸고, 경도는 밀가루 모닝빵과 GB4가 비슷하였으며, 명도는 밀가루빵이 가장 밝았다. 관능검사결과 밀가루빵이 가장 선호되었고, 고아미 모닝빵 중에서는 15분 분쇄한 가루로 만든 GB3와 GB4가 선호되었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 기존 건설폐기물 파·분쇄 기술의 문제점을 분석하여 저품질 순환골재의 문제점을 진단하고 콘크리트용 순환골재의 고품질화 방안으로 새로운 회전형 마쇄기술을 개발하고자 하였으며, 회전형 마쇄기술의 해석 모델링을 통하여 해당 기술의 현장 적용전 모르타르 박리 유효성을 확인하고, 현장에 적용하여 생산된 순환골재의 품질특성을 확인하여 콘크리트용 순환굵은골재로의 적합성을 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 모르타르 박리기술을 현장에 제작·설치하여 기술 투입전, 투입후 순환골재의 모르타르 부착량, 절대건조밀도 및 흡수율의 상관관계를 분석하였으며, 콘크리트용 순환굵은골재의 핵심 품질특성인 입도, 절대건조밀도 및 흡수율을 시험분석 하였다.

  • 원자력시설의 콘크리트 폐기물은 서로 다른 메카니즘에 의해 다양한 핵종에 의해 방사화 되거나 오염된다. 우라늄 변환시설 및 연구로 해체 시 발생된 오염된 콘크리트의 부피감용을 위해 가열 분쇄 실험에 의해 자갈, 모래, 페이스트의 골재의 크기에 따른 핵종의 분배특성에 대해 고찰하였다. 실험결과 대부분의 방사성 핵종은 골재로부터 제거되어 페이스트에 존재하였으며 특히, 가열 온도는 방사성 핵종을 오염된 콘크리트 폐기물로부터 분리하는데 중요한 변수로 확인되었다. 즉, 콘크리트 표면에 오염된 물질은 밀도가 높은 자갈, 모래보다는 다공성 물질의 페이스트에 농축되었다. 방사화 콘크리트에서는 80%, 우라늄 변환시설의 콘크리트 폐기물에서는 약 75% 정도의 부피감용을 얻었다.

Characteristics of Bio Pellets from Spent Coffee Grounds and Pinewood Charcoal Based on Composition and Grinding Method

  • One type of biomass that has promising potential for bio pellet production is spent coffee grounds (SCGs). However, previous studies have shown that SCGs in bio pellets cause a lot of smoke. Therefore, they need to be mixed with a material that has a higher calorific value to produce better quality pellets. One material that can be used is pine wood because it has a natural resin content that can increase the calorific value. The aim of this study was to examine the quality of bio pellets produced with SCGs and pine wood charcoal at different particle sizes. The charcoal was ground using either a hammer mill (HM) or a ball mill (BM). Pine wood charcoal was mixed with SCGs at ratios of SCGs to pine wood charcoal of 4:6 and 6:4 by weight, respectively, and the adhesive used a tapioca with a composition ratio 5% of the raw material. The bio pellets were produced using a manual pellet press. The quality of the bio pellets was assessed based on Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 8021-2014, and the physical observations include flame length, burning rate, and compressive strength. The average water content, ash content, and calorific value of the bio pellets were in accordance with SNI 8021-2014, but the density and ash content values were below the standard values. The BM variation of bio pellets had a higher compressive strength than the HM variation, and the 4:6 BM variation had the longest burning time compared with 4:6 HM.

치(齒)에 대(對)한 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察) (A Literature Study of the Teeth)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the teeth and Zhang-Fu(臟腑), dental diseases, and the hygiene of the mouth through the literature of oriental medicine. First, the relatonship between the teeth and Zhang-Fu is reviewed as follows: The teeth are influenced by Shen(腎) because they are the end of bone and Biao(標) of Shen. Gingiva is related to Wei(胃) and Da-Chang(大腸) because it is passed by Yangming-Channel(陽明經). The growth and nutrition of teeth depends on Shen. The pathological condition of Shen causes the gingival atrophy, the loose of teeth, dedentition due to aging, withering of teeth, and tartar: whereas the pathological condition of Wei and Da-Chang causes toothache, gingivitis, inflamed gums, bad breath, and gingival hemorrhage. Second, the causes and therapies of dental diseases through the literature can be summarized as follows: The major causes of toothache are the pathogenic condition of wind-heat and wind-cold, the heat syndrome of Wei, the damp-heat of intestine, flaring-up of fire of deficiency type, rotten tooth, etc... The principal causes of dedentition and the shaking and loose of teeth are the deficiency of Shen, and the rest of causes are the damp-heat of Yangming. Gingival atrophy is caused by the deficiency of Shen, whereas the gingival hemorrhage comes from the factors in the pathogenic factor of wind-heat of Yangming-Channel, the heat syndrome of stomach, and the deficiency of Shen. The causes of grinding of teeth during sleeping are stomach-heat, and the delayed dentition and the withering result from the deficiency of Shen-Jing.(腎精) The principal therapies of toothache are removing wind and heat, clearing away heat and prompting diuresis, clearing away the stomach-heat, replenishing vital essence to tonify the Shen, relieving superficial syndrome by wind-cold, and alleviating pain by destroying parasites. For the prescription of the principal therapies, there are Xijio Dihuang Tang, Jiajian Ganlu Yin, Qufeng Wan, Qingwei San, Tiaowei Chenggi Tang Shengong Wan, Liangge San Qingwei Tang Yunu Jian, Liuwei Dihuang Wan Zuogui Yin Bawei Wan Wanshao Dan, Xixin San Badou Wan Gianghuo Fuzi Tang, Jiuzi Tang Badou Wan, etc... The therapies of dedentition and the shaking and loose of teeth are replenishing vital essence to tonify the Shen, and warming and recuperating the Shen-Yang: as the prescription, there are Liuwei Dihuang Wana Zuogui Yin, and Bawei Wan Anshen Wan Wanshao Dan Yougui Wan etc... The therapies of gingival hemorrhage are clearing away the stomach-heat, replenishing vital essence to tonify the Shen, warming and recuperating the Shen-Yang(腎陽), and moisturing and purging intence heat with the prescription of Tiaowei Chenggi Tang Xijiao Dihuang Tang, Liuwei Dihuang Wan Zuogui Yin, Bawei Wan Anshen Wan, and Yunu Jian. The therapy of gingival atrophy is replenishing vital essence to tonify the Shen in the prescription of Liuwei Wan Bawei Wan Ziyin Dabu Wan. The therapies of grinding of teeth during sleeping are clearing away the stomach-heat and purging intense heat, and invigorating the spleen through eliminating dampness in the prescription of Qingwei San, Wumei Wan, etc... The therapy of delaed dentition is replenishing vital essence to tonify the Shen with the prescription of Liuwei Wan Buyin Jian, etc... Third, clinical treatment reports of dental diseases are reviewed as follows: The toothache due to stomach-heat was treated by medical herbs like Gypsum, Natrir Sulfas, Rehmanniae, Schizonepetal Herba, Menthae Folium, Cimicifugae Rhizoma, and Scrophulariae Radix. The therapies of toothache due to flaring-up of fire in deficiency type from deficiency of Shen provided with replenishment of vital essence to tonify the Shen and clean ministerial fire, and the prescription was the kind of Liuwei Wan, which worked very well. The therapy of dedentition and loose of teeth due to deficiency of Shen was done to stablize the teeth as tonifing the Shen with the prescription of Guchi Wan. The rate of imrovement was over 90%. The destruction of periodontal tissue due to periodonititis was cured of dispelling wind, reducing heat, and alleviating pain, It was improved by taking Zizhi Xingiong Tang, Guchi Xiaotong San, Yunii Jian, and Qingwei San about 3-7 days, and the rate of improvement was over 80%. Fourth, the prevention and regimens are reviewed as follows: As a physical and breathing exercise of the teeth, tapping teeth which stimulates the circulation of Qi(氣) and Xue(血) had been used. The tapping time of 14, 17, 36, etc... has been reported, and it should be applied based on the body condition. The medical herbs for gargling and brushing teeth have been used. Specifically, Cimicifugae Rhizoma, Gypsum, Gypsum Fibrosum, and Indigo pulrelrata Lereis have been used to reduce heat, Coptidis Rhizama and Yang Jinggu to eliminate damp-heat, Amomi Semen, Cyperi Rhizoma, Flos Caryophylli, Asari Radix, Piperis Longi Fructus, Santali Albae Lignum, Meliae Fructus, Moschus, Aquillaiae Lignum, and Borneol to promote the circulation of Qi and to relieve pain, Ligustici Radix, Angelice Radix, Rhizoma Nardostachydis, Tribuli Semen to relieve superficial syndrome by means of diaphiresis, and Cnidii Rhizoma, Angelicae sinensis Radix, and Olibanum to promote blood circulation to stop pain.

고품립(高品位) 몰리브덴광 선별(選別)을 위한 Microbubble Column 부선 특성 연구 (A study on Microbubble Column flotation for Recovering High Grade Molybdenite)

  • 신흥개발국과 선진국의 해외자원 확보 경쟁이 심화되는 가운데 대부분의 광물자원을 수입하고 있는 우리나라는 안정적인 자원확보 및 외화지출을 줄이기 위해 국내에 부존되어 있는 몰리브덴광 등을 재개발하기 시작하였다. 본 연구에서는 현재 국내에서 유일하게 몰리브덴광을 생산하고 있는 (주)동원NMC의 최종정광(Mo 50.4%)을 대상으로 XRD 및 성분분석 결과 석영과 Grossular, Hedenbergite 등이 불순문로 존재하였으며, 입도분석 결과 60~140 mesh의 비교적 조립질 구간에 Mo 57% 이상의 고품위로 구성되어 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, (주)동원NMC의 최종정광(Mo 50.4%)의 고품위 가능성 및 실수율 향상 가능성을 확인하기 위해 실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 마광시간 15분, 포수제 Kerosene 0.1 l/ton, 기포제 AF 65 7.2 l/ton, 세척수량 630 ml/min., air flow rate 1,197 ml/min.의 조건에서 Mo 58.6% ($MoS_2$ 97.83%)의 산물을 87.47%의 실수율로 얻을 수 있었다.

명일엽 가공산물의 대사 에너지 함량 평가 (The Evaluation of Metabolizable Energy of Angelica Keiskei (Angelica utilis Makino) Products)

  • 본 연구는 명일엽과 그 가공산물의 대사에너지 함량을 분석하기 위해 실시하였다. 명일엽 전초, 명일엽 녹즙, 녹즙박, 발효녹즙 및 녹즙 + 녹즙박 5가지 식품을 기초식이에 30% 첨가하여 실험식이를 제조하였다. 기초식이는 AIN93M을 사용하였다. 실험용 쥐는 실험군당 6마리를 사용하였고, 3일간 실험식이에 적응시킨후 4일간 식이섭취량을 측정하고 분과 뇨를 모두 수거하였다. 수거한 분과 뇨는 bomb calorimeter로 gross energy를 측정하였다. 본 연구결과, 명일엽 가공산물의 대사에너지 함량은 명일엽 1,286.8 kcal/kg, 명일엽 녹즙 1,642.6 kcal/kg, 발효녹즙 2,044.8 kcal/kg, 녹즙박 1,687.5 kacl/kg, 명일엽 녹즙 + 녹즙박 1,763.0 kcal/kg이었다. 수분을 함유한 원물은 각각 193, 82, 102, 270 및 216 kcal/kg이었다. 이를 여러 에너지환산계수를 이용한 에너지가와 비교한 결과 20~60% 차이를 보였다. 특히 원물에서 명일엽은 식품성분표에서는 340 kcal/kg의 열량가를 갖는 것으로 발표되었지만, 동물을 이용한 대사에너지 측정치는 193 kcal/kg으로 76% 낮게 나타났다. 이는 섬유소 함량이 높은 명일엽과 가공 산물들은 실험동물을 이용한 방법이 energy conversion factor로 계산한 수치보다 정확한 대사에너지 함량을 구하기에 더 적합하기 때문으로 판단된다.

음료가공을 위한 쌀 품종별 품질 특성 비교 (Comparison of Quality Properties of Rice Cultivars for Beverage Processing)

  • The properties of rice were studied on five rice cultivars (Ilpumbyeo, Samkwang, Goami-4, Dodamssal, and Thai rice), and employed two kinds of saccharification treatment methods (treatment I : rice shape, treatment II: grinding rice shape). Thai rice showed differences in width and length when compared to other cultivars of rice, and the Goami 4 had the lowest thousand-grain weight. The Goami4 and Dodamssal each showed high contents of amylose and resistant starch, and the water absorption rate was close to maximum at 90 minutes as well as the highest level of Goami 4 at all times. The qualities of highest water-binding capacity, solubility and swelling power was most significant in Thai rice. The lowest hardness level of wet rice resulted in the lowest hydration-related characteristics. High amylose content rice, in particular, showed low sugar content and slightly increased sugar content as the saccharification process improved (treatment II). On the other hand, high amylose cultivars had the same high degree of hardness as boiled rice. From these results, the Dodamssal was found to have the lowest viscosity at all temperatures but highest viscosity during the saccharification process, suggesting it may be successfully implemented as a thickener in rice beverage processing. The purpose of this study was to attempt to provide basic data on the development of rice beverage manufacturing technology, based upon the quality characteristics related to beverage processing of rice cultivars.

Machinability investigation and sustainability assessment in FDHT with coated ceramic tool

  • The paper addresses contribution to the modeling and optimization of major machinability parameters (cutting force, surface roughness, and tool wear) in finish dry hard turning (FDHT) for machinability evaluation of hardened AISI grade die steel D3 with PVD-TiN coated (Al2O3-TiCN) mixed ceramic tool insert. The turning trials are performed based on Taguchi's L18 orthogonal array design of experiments for the development of regression model as well as adequate model prediction by considering tool approach angle, nose radius, cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut as major machining parameters. The models or correlations are developed by employing multiple regression analysis (MRA). In addition, statistical technique (response surface methodology) followed by computational approaches (genetic algorithm and particle swarm optimization) have been employed for multiple response optimization. Thereafter, the effectiveness of proposed three (RSM, GA, PSO) optimization techniques are evaluated by confirmation test and subsequently the best optimization results have been used for estimation of energy consumption which includes savings of carbon footprint towards green machining and for tool life estimation followed by cost analysis to justify the economic feasibility of PVD-TiN coated Al2O3+TiCN mixed ceramic tool in FDHT operation. Finally, estimation of energy savings, economic analysis, and sustainability assessment are performed by employing carbon footprint analysis, Gilbert approach, and Pugh matrix, respectively. Novelty aspects, the present work: (i) contributes to practical industrial application of finish hard turning for the shaft and die makers to select the optimum cutting conditions in a range of hardness of 45-60 HRC, (ii) demonstrates the replacement of expensive, time-consuming conventional cylindrical grinding process and proposes the alternative of costlier CBN tool by utilizing ceramic tool in hard turning processes considering technological, economical and ecological aspects, which are helpful and efficient from industrial point of view, (iii) provides environment friendliness, cleaner production for machining of hardened steels, (iv) helps to improve the desirable machinability characteristics, and (v) serves as a knowledge for the development of a common language for sustainable manufacturing in both research field and industrial practice.

열분석에 의한 PDP 격벽용 출발유리조성의 결정화 특성 연구 (Crystallization Kinetics by Thermal Analysis (DTA) on Starting Glass Compositions for PDP(Plasma Display Panel) Rib)

  • 고함량 PbO계 조성 PDP 격벽용 유리의 경우, 광학적, 기계적 및 전기적 물성들을 만족시키며, 동시에 높은 온도에서 열처리공정을 거쳐야 하므로, 유리의 조성-물성-공정상의 trade-off가 발생하여, 이를 극복하기 위한 방안으로서 유리의 결정화가 유효하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 고함량 PbO계 조성 PDP 격벽용 후보 유리계의 최적결정화조건을 확립하고자 열시차분석법(DTA)에 의한 결정화 특성을 연구하였다. $62PbO-19B_2O_3-10SiO_2-9(Al_2O_3-K_2O-BaO-ZnO)$(in wt%) 조성계의 유리에 결정핵생성 및 성장을 위해 $TiO_2$를 3 wt%를 첨가한 수, 용융/냉각/분쇄 처리 후 얻어진 유리 분말을 $445^{\circ}C$에서 각각 1∼10시간 열처리하여 핵생성을 시켰으며, 이렇게 얻어진 각 유리 분말은 각기 $5∼25^{\circ}C/min$의 가변 승온속도로 DTA 측정을 하였다. DTA 결정화 피크 온도는 승온속도가 높아짐에 따라 증가하였고, 열처리 시간이 증가함에 따라 감소하였다. Avrami 변수는 1에 근사하는 값이 얻어져서, 표면결정화가 우선하였으며, 최대 핵생성 처리시간은 2시간이었다.
