A Study on New Map Construction Method for Path Planing of Mobile Robots (이동 로봇의 경로 계획을 위한 새로운 지도 작성 방법에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 이동 로봇의 유연하고 짧은 경로 계획을 위하여 기존의 그리드 셀(grid cell)로 구성되는 지도 대신에 삼각형을 이용하여 지도를 구성하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 그리드 셀로 구성되는 지도의 경우 이동 로봇가 현재 셀에서 다음 셀로 진행시 진행 방향이 8 방향이나, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법에 의해 구성된 새로운 지도는 셀을 삼각형으로 표현함으로써, 이동 로봇의 진행 방향이 12 방향이 된다. 이와 같이 이동 로봇의 진행 방향이 증가한다는 것은 이동 로봇이 더욱 유연하게 장애물을 회피하며 더욱 짧은 경로로 주행할 수 있는 가능성을 의미한다. 한편, 본 논문에서 제안한 삼각형 지도 작성 방법의 효율성을 기존의 그리드 셀을 이용한 경로 계획 알고리즘인 거리 변환(path transform) 경로 계획을 통하여 증명한다. 또한 새로운 삼각형 지도 구성이 메모리의 효율성 위해 이동 로봇의 주행 환경을 장애물이 비어있는 공간을 가능한 하나의 셀로 병합하는 4진트리 방법(quadtree method)에도 적용 가능함을 보인다.

  • For renewable energy has been studied by many research. among them, non-pollution and infinite solar energy using solar power system is newly spotlighed. the DC output characteristic of the solar cell, connection to grid and using the inverter is essential to the process of converter DC to AC. in this paper, study the corresponding changes in the efficiency of the inverter and arcing occurs in the inverter, depending on the conditions and regulations in the UL-1699 series arc occurs.

  • Numerical simulations for large scale triaxial tests with large diameter rockfill materials are conducted using distinct element method. For generation of compacted assembly with specific grain size distribution and initial material porosity, the clump logic method and expansion of generated particles are adapted. With micro parameters which are chosen by calibration process, discrete particle modelling of triaxial test in case of other confining stress and cyclic loading condition were conducted. Also numerical simulations of fluid injection into particulate materials were conducted to observe cavity initiation and propagation using distinct element method. The fluid scheme solves the continuity and Navior-Stokes equations numerically, then derives pressure and velocity vectors for fixed grid by considering the existence of particles within the fluid cell.

  • 본 연구에서는 제한된 수로를 운항하는 선체주위의 유동특성에 관한 연구를 수행하고자 하였다. 일반적으로 운하 또는 하천을 운항하는 선박의 경우 제한된 수심의 영향으로 천수효과가 발생하게 된다. 이러한 천수의 효과와 제한된 폭의 영향으로 선수부분에서 선체보다 선행하는 파도가 전파되어 나아가기도 하며, 이로 인하여 선박은 보다 많은 조파저항을 받게 된다. 본 연구에서는 임의의 형상을 갖는 선체가 폭과 수심이 제한된 운하를 임계속도 근처에서 운항하는 경우에 관하여 폭과 수심을 변화시켜가며 수치계산을 수행하여, 제한수로에서의 임의의 선체주위의 유동특성을 관찰하고자 하였다. 수치계산은 MAC(Marker And Cell)법을 기초로 한 유한차분법(Finite Difference Method)을 사용하였으며, 계산에 사용된 격자계는 임의의 형상에 관하여 격자생성이 용이한 직사각형 격자계(Rectangular Grid System)를 사용하였다.

Newton-Krylov Method for Compressible Euler Equations on Unstructured Grids

  • The Newton-Krylov method on the unstructured grid flow solver using the cell-centered spatial discretization oi compressible Euler equations is presented. This flow solver uses the reconstructed primitive variables to get the higher order solutions. To get the quadratic convergence of Newton method with this solver, the careful linearization of face flux is performed with the reconstructed flow variables. The GMRES method is used to solve large sparse matrix and to improve the performance ILU preconditioner is adopted and vectorized with level scheduling algorithm. To get the quadratic convergence with the higher order schemes and to reduce the memory storage. the matrix-free implementation and Barth's matrix-vector method are implemented and compared with the traditional matrix-vector method. The convergence and computing times are compared with each other.

  • Three dimensional turbulent flow fields around ships are simulated by a numerical method. Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equations are used where Reynolds stresses are approximated by Baldwin-Lomax and Sub-Grid Scale(SGS) turbulence models. Body-fitted coordinate system is introduced to conform three dimensional ship geometries. The governing equations are discretized by a finite volume method. Temporal derivatives are approximated by the forward differencing and the convection terms are approximated by the QUICK or Kawamura scheme. The 2nd-order centered differencing is used for other spatial derivatives. Pressure and velocity fields are simultaneously iterated by the Highly Simplified Marker-And-Cell method. To verify the numerical method and turbulence models, flow fields around ships are simulated and compared to the experiments.

  • A numerical computation is carried out to analyse characteristics of flow fields around Air Supported Ships having arbitrary form. The computations are performed in a rectangular grid system with MAC(Marker And Cell) method. The governing equations are represented in a Finite Difference form by forward differencing in time and centered differencing in space except for convection terms. For validation of this numerical analysis method, the computation of flow fields around Catamaran and ACV(Air Cushion Vehicle) with pressure distribution on free surface are done, and that around Surface Effect Ship is also carried out. The results of the computations are compared with the those of existed numerical computation and experimental results with the same condition.

  • In order to reduce numerical dissipation in a multi-dimensional flow, a new variable interpolation method for Roe's FDS is proposed. By introducing the Mach number weighting function w, the properties at the cell-interface are interpolated and in a non flow-aligned grid system, it can give more accurate solution because of less numerical dissipation. Various test cases including oblique contact discontinuity are simulated and compared with the results of original Roe's FDS.

  • The present paper deals with the accurate and robust limiting procedure for the multi-dimensional flow analysis on unstructured meshes. The multi-dimensional limiting process (MLP) which was successfully proposed on structured grid system is extended to unstructured meshes. Based on MUSCL-type framework on unstructured meshes, the new slope limiter is devised to satisfy the MLP condition, which is quite effective to regulate the unwanted oscillations, especially on multiple dimensions. Considering the neighborhood based on the vertex of the cell, as well as the edge, this limiting strategy captures the multi-dimensional flow features very accurately with the proper stencils. From the various numerical results, these desirable characteristics of the proposed limiting strategy are clearly shown.
