  • Non-grid and grid method are used for modeling the routing region of the automatic routing system. In this study, we develop the automatic routing system by mixing the methods of non-grid and grid to improve the speed of routing. Grid method has a demerit which decreases the automatic routing speed because it is required a lot of memory by the limitation of the size of board and grid, although the electrical and physical elements are insufficient on the PCB, But non-grid is spent gurite less memory than grid method by using a shape-based patterns. Therefore, we used the methods of non-grid and grid altogether in this paper, In the former method, it is attributed to the improvement of speed, the latter one is applied only the connection of the failed routing in the former one, and it performs the complete automatic routing. This system was developed with C++language under the Windows NT environment of IBM 486DX2-66 Computer.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient grid based routing scheme using the location information in order to reduce the routing cost in mobile ad-hoc networks. In our proposed scheme, all nodes can be a candidate to forward messages to the specified destination node and reduce the management cost of head nodes because they do not exist. The intermediate nodes determine the next hop relaying messages on the basis of location relations between a node and a grid zone. The proposed scheme explores the routing path considering the direction of a node using the coordinate of a grid zone and neighbor node information. It also maintains the routing path considering connectivities among the nodes. In order to show the superiority of the proposed routing scheme, we compare it with the existing grid based routing scheme in terms of the overhead of message, the success rate of transmission.

  • Routing region modeling method of auto_routing systems are use the grid and the non-grid type. Though grid type has a few electrical and physical element on PCB, grid type has disadvantage which decrease the auto-routing speed dur to constraint with board and gird size. Thus it increase the memory capacity, Non-grid type(Shape baed type) use the region processing type, so it has 44.2% memory decrease effect than grid type in routing region. Thus, via number has 55% decrease effect, total routing time is increased 83.8% than conventional PCB system. In this paper we developed high speed PCB auto-routing system without memory waste by using shaped type applicant with auction algorithm which reaching the destination from one-point with best speed and solving the path problem. Also, this system developed by Visual C++ in IBM Pentium computer Window environment, and compatible with other PC.

  • Nowadays, the Internet of Things (IoT) is adopted to enable effective and smooth communication among different networks. In some specific application, the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are used in IoT to gather peculiar data without the interaction of human. The WSNs are self-organizing in nature, so it mostly prefer multi-hop data forwarding. Thus to achieve better communication, a cross-layer routing strategy is preferred. In the cross-layer routing strategy, the routing processed through three layers such as transport, data link, and physical layer. Even though effective communication achieved via a cross-layer routing strategy, energy is another constraint in WSN assisted IoT. Cluster-based communication is one of the most used strategies for effectively preserving energy in WSN routing. This paper proposes a Bio-inspired cross-layer routing (BiHCLR) protocol to achieve effective and energy preserving routing in WSN assisted IoT. Initially, the deployed sensor nodes are arranged in the form of a grid as per the grid-based routing strategy. Then to enable energy preservation in BiHCLR, the fuzzy logic approach is executed to select the Cluster Head (CH) for every cell of the grid. Then a hybrid bio-inspired algorithm is used to select the routing path. The hybrid algorithm combines moth search and Salp Swarm optimization techniques. The performance of the proposed BiHCLR is evaluated based on the Quality of Service (QoS) analysis in terms of Packet loss, error bit rate, transmission delay, lifetime of network, buffer occupancy and throughput. Then these performances are validated based on comparison with conventional routing strategies like Fuzzy-rule-based Energy Efficient Clustering and Immune-Inspired Routing (FEEC-IIR), Neuro-Fuzzy- Emperor Penguin Optimization (NF-EPO), Fuzzy Reinforcement Learning-based Data Gathering (FRLDG) and Hierarchical Energy Efficient Data gathering (HEED). Ultimately the performance of the proposed BiHCLR outperforms all other conventional techniques.

  • We introduce a location-based routing model applied for grid backbone nodes in wireless mesh network. The number of paths with nearest distance between two nodes is calculated and used as key parameter to execute routing algorithm. Node will increase the transmission range that makes a trade off with data rate to reach its neighbors when node itself is isolated. The routing model is lightweight and oriented thanks to the simple but efficient routing algorithm.

  • In this paper, we propose a grid-based efficient routing protocol for a mobile sink in wireless sensor networks. In the proposed protocol, the network is partitioned into grids and each grid has a grid head. For the efficient routing to a mobile sink, the proposed protocol uses a mobile sink representative node to send the data to a mobile sink and grid heads are used as a mobile sink representative node. Furthermore, the proposed protocol uses nodes in the boundary of the center grid as position storage nodes. The position storage nodes store the position of a mobile sink representative node and provide source nodes with it for data delivery. With these features, the proposed protocol can reduce a lot of overhead to update the position information and improve the delay of data delivery to a mobile sink. The proposed protocol performs better than other protocols in terms of the delay and the energy consumption per node in the performance evaluation.

  • In this paper, we propose a basic virtual grid-based routing algorithm in order to devise an efficient routing method in ad hoc networks using the location information of nodes, energy level, etc. A packet is forwarded to the X-axis direction at first based on the location information of a destination node, and then it is forwarded to the Y-axis direction as its location becomes close to the destination from the viewpoint of the X-axis. Due to the selection of next hop nodes to deliver a packet from a certain node to a destination node, we can regard the whole network as a virtual grid network. The proposed routing algorithm determines routing paths using the local information such as the location information of a destination and its neighbor nodes. Thus, the routing path setup is achieved locally, by which we can expect reduction in network traffics and routing delays to a destination. To evaluate the performance of the proposed routing algorithm, we used the network simulator ns2 and compared its network throughput with that of an existing routing algorithm.

  • Location Service is required in position-based routing for VANET to provide position information. We propose Grid-based Location service spot(GLSS) scheme for optimized routing path to improve accessibility and load balance in location service. Specific area is defined as Location service spot(LSS) on each grid in this scheme, and all nodes in the grid geocast its location update message and location request message to each LSS. Location request messages are flooded throughout LSSs, location reply messages establish optimized route from the source grid to the destination grid. We evaluated GLSS which establishes optimized route on the grid comparing GPSR in consideration of road condition and geographical features.

  • In this paper, we propose a hybrid routing scheme that utilizes location information to support reliable data transmission in mobile ad hoc networks. The proposed scheme determines and maintains routing path by considering the directionality and connectivity of nodes using grid zones and information on neighbor nodes. In addition, it generates alternative paths with consideration for node distance and reliability. To show the superiority of the proposed routing scheme, a performance evaluation was conducted using simulations. The performance evaluation results show that the proposed scheme offers faster and more reliable data transmission than the existing routing schemes, and the number of messages decreases by approximately 31% compared to the existing schemes on average.
