채굴적에 의한 지반침하 사례 분석을 통한 침하발생 범위의 추정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Prediction of Surface Subsidence Zone through the Case Studies on Mined-out Area)

  • 폐광산에서의 지표침하의 영향범위를 추정하기 위하여 많이 적용되어 왔던 도식법은 수평탄층에서 흔히 발생하는 트러프형 침하의 영향범위를 추정하는데 그 적용성이 높은 것으로 알려져 왔다. 그러나 국내 광산의 광체들은 대부분 급경사이며, 침하 형태 또한 함몰형의 빈도가 상대적으로 높은 것으로 보고되고 있기 때문에, 국내 침하지에 도식법을 직접적으로 적용하는 것은 바람직하지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 폐광산 지역에서 발생한 총 163개의 지표침하 발생지에 대한 사례분석을 실시하여, 채굴적의 위치를 기준으로 광체의 경사방향 및 광체의 경사반대방향으로의 지표침하 발생범위를 규명하였다. 또한 이를 토대로 채굴적의 심도를 고려한 지표침하 발생범위에 대한 추정각을 산정하였으며, 기존의 도식법과의 비교분석 및 지표침하 발생 사례 적용분석을 통해 최종적으로 이 추정각의 범위를 제안하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 확률모형의 모수로부터 얻어지는 여러 형태의 함수간의 크기를 다중 비교 하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 이 방법은 비교대상인 모수 함수 간의 선호확률을 베이지안 방법으로 추정하고, 이들로부터 얻어지는 선호행렬을 이용한 새로운 다중비교법이다. 이러한 방법의 제안에 필요한 이론과 비교기준을 고안하였으며, 응용 예로 제안된 방법을 s의 독립인 지수분포 모수의 기하평균 크기 비교에 적용하였다.

  • For the improvement of productivity, the reduction of cost and time for manufacturing is mandatory, especially in the field of electromic industry. The study is concerned with a practical means of systematic assistance to formability estimation and selection of reliable design specification for electronic sheet metal parts. The objective of this research work is to develop a simulation system which hops to analyze the target processes with the finite element method and to acquire available design data quickly and exactly. The simulation system developed in the study consists of design verification, selection of optimal combination of parameters, knowledge acquisition and graphical user interface(GUI). Design verification is automatically carried out by using the finite element method. A data base management system and nomograms are utilized for knowledge acquisition. The developed system has been applied to some major sheet metal forming operations such as flanging, embossing, bending and blanking. According to the simulated results, the validation of the target processes has been confirmend. Analysis data, estimation rules of formability and graphical representation of the analysis have been employed for the designer's understanding and evaluation, thus providing a practical means of robust design and evaluation of forma- bility for producing electronic sheet metal parts.

Metro 스타일 GUI의 가시화 효율 최적화 (Effectiveness Optimization for Metro-Style Graphical User Interfaces)

  • 최근의 소프트웨어는 인터페이스에 대한 사용자의 직관적인 이해를 돕기 위해, 시각적으로 정보를 표현하는 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스(Graphical User Interface)를 사용한다. 잘 디자인된 인터페이스는 사용자에게 정보를 효율적으로 전달하나, 그렇지 않은 경우는 보기에 불편하고 난해하다. 시각적 정보가 효율적으로 사람에게 전달되기 위해서는, 사용자의 시각적 관심이 이미지의 중요한 영역에 있도록 해야 한다. 이 논문은 사람의 시각체계 내 탐색(visual search)를 고려하여 Metro-Style GUI를 시각적으로 향상시키는 방법을 소개한다. 이 방법은 Metro-Style GUI 버튼의 공간적 매핑과 색 매핑의 두 단계로 구성되어 있다. 또한 Metro-Style GUI의 효용성을 정의하고, 이를 최적화하는 알고리즘을 함께 제안한다. 결과에서는 우리의 방법을 적용하여 Metro-Style의 GUI를 시각적으로 향상시킨 예시를 제시한다.

  • The newly proposed analysis method using a direct-current current-voltage (DCIV) simulation is introduced for investigating leakage current composing MOS transistor. From comparing the density and location of traps using DCIV method and investigating the leakage current of gate channel transistor, we proposed the graphical analysis method to correlate the DCIV current and leakage mechanism by the traps. And, our graphical method intuitively explains that leakage current in MOS transistor is well correlated with the DCIV current of the MOS transistor arrays due to two kinds of traps created by Fowler-Nordheim (F-N) stress and Hot carrier stress, respectively.

Graphical Representation of the Instantaneous Compensation Power Flow for Single-Phase Active Power Filters

  • The conventional graphical representation of the instantaneous compensation power flow for single-phase active power filters(APFs) simply represents the active power flow and the reactive power flow which flowing between the power source and the active filter / the load. But, this method does not provide the information about the rectification mode and the compensation mode of APFs, especially, the loss for each mode was not considered at all. This is very important to understand the compensation operation characteristics of APFs. Therefore, this paper proposes the graphical representation of the instantaneous compensation power flow for single-phase APFs considering the instantaneous rectification mode and the instantaneous inversion mode. Three cases are verified in this paper - without compensation, with compensation of the active power 'p' and the fundamental reactive power 'q', and with compensation of only the distorted power 'h'. To ensure the validity of the proposed approach, PSIM simulation is achieved. As a result, we could confirm that the proposed approach was easy to explain the instantaneous compensation power flow considering the instantaneous rectification mode and the instantaneous inversion mode of APFs, also, Total Harmonic Distortion(THD)/Power Factor (P.F) and Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) analysis were compared for each case.

A graphical user interface for stand-alone and mixed-type modelling of reinforced concrete structures

  • FormWorks-Plus is a generalized public domain user-friendly preprocessor developed to facilitate the process of creating finite element models for structural analysis programs. The lack of a graphical user interface in most academic analysis programs forces users to input the structural model information into the standard text files, which is a time-consuming and error-prone process. FormWorks-Plus enables engineers to conveniently set up the finite element model in a graphical environment, eliminating the problems associated with conventional input text files and improving the user's perception of the application. In this paper, a brief overview of the FormWorks-Plus structure is presented, followed by a detailed explanation of the main features of the program. In addition, demonstration is made of the application of FormWorks-Plus in combination with VecTor programs, advanced nonlinear analysis tools for reinforced concrete structures. Finally, aspects relating to the modelling and analysis of three case studies are discussed: a reinforced concrete beam-column joint, a steel-concrete composite shear wall, and a SFRC shear panel. The unique mixed-type frame-membrane modelling procedure implemented in FormWorks-Plus can address the limitations associated with most frame type analyses.

  • When the correlation of two random variables is weak, the value of one variable can not be used effectively to predict the other. Even when most of the values are overlapped, it is difficult to find a linear relationship. In this paper, we propose two graphical methods of representing the measures of correlation and independence between two random variables. The first method is used to represent their degree of correlation, and the other is used to represent their independence. Both of these methods are based on the cumulative distribution functions defined in this work.

그래픽 프로그래밍 기법을 이용한 주축용 유도전동기의 속도 센서리스 토크감시 (Speed Sensorless Torque Monitoring of Induction Spindle Motor using Graphical Programming)

  • To monitor the torque of an induction motor using current, rotating speed has been measured and used to calculate the slip angular velocity. Additional sensor, however, can cause extra expense and trouble. In this paper, a new algorithm is proposed to monitor the torque of vector controlled induction motor without any speed measuring sensor. Only stator current is measured to estimate the magnetizing current which is used to calculate flux linkage, rotor velocity and motor torque. Graphical programming is used to implement the suggested algorithm and to monitor the torque of an induction motor in real time. To solve the fluctuation problem of estimated torque caused from instantly varying rotating speed of an induction motor, the rotating speed is reconstructed based on the measured current signals. From several experiments, the proposed method shows a good estimation of the motor torque under the normal rotational speed.

데이터 정제와 그래프 분석을 이용한 대용량 공정데이터 분석 방법 (An Analysis Method of Superlarge Manufacturing Process Data Using Data Cleaning and Graphical Analysis)

  • Advances in computer and sensor technology have made it possible to obtain superlarge manufacturing process data in real time, letting us extract meaningful information from these superlarge data sets. We propose a systematic data analysis procedure which field engineers can apply easily to manufacture quality products. The procedure consists of data cleaning and data analysis stages. Data cleaning stage is to construct a database suitable for statistical analysis from the original superlarge manufacturing process data. In the data analysis stage, we suggest a graphical easy-to-implement approach to extract practical information from the cleaned database. This study will help manufacturing companies to achieve six sigma quality.
