  • In this study, a performance simulation program for a turbojet engine using SIMULINK, which can provide the GUI(Graphic User Interface) environment, was newly proposed. Performance analysis results using the SIMULINK performance program were compared with them using the FORTRAN performance program that was previously developed. According to comparison result, it was noted that performance analysis results between two programs have little bit big difference. This difference seems to be due to different component matching algorithm at each program, it will be improved later.

  • This study is to develop interactive program for work-cell layout of SACARA type robot by using PC. To make this program interactively, we made use of the software which has the function of menu, dialog box, and graphic. By using the mouse, we can progress this program quickly and easily. It has 2Y2 dimension and provides that one can layout elements (robot, peripheral device, and etc.), create work path, and calculate cycle time of working robot. By comparing with cycle times of any number of work-cell layout for same work, we can evaluate work-cell layout. Finally, we can select one work-cell layout to be considered optimal one which has the least cycle time.

  • The design program of fitting and thrust block including various shapes and sizes was developed for the GMR project (Great Man-made River Project in Lybia). It can automatically recalculated the minimum size of fitting required for the structural performance and can also determine the proper size of fitting for the safe and economic design by users. It was found that the results of this program was accurate and efficient when it was compared to other references. This program is also developed with GUI (Graphic User Interface) technology for the convenience of users.

  • The roll Pass design is one of the most important processes to design the whole equipment of the rods and bars rolling system. In this study, the roll pass design program named TollRo(Rolling Factory Organizer) was developed. conventional methods to design roll pass were analyzed and a new algorithm to design the dimension of the intermediate groove was introduced. Object oriented programming technology was implemented in this design program. It comprises GUI(Graphic User Interface), function of automatic pass design, function of modifying pass schedule and database of material properties. The developed program can be used to design roll pass with consistency for the rods and bars rolling system. The man-hours for the whole design can be drastically reduced. The design parameters of rolling system can be extracted quickly by this program.

  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is one of key features on intelligent Transportation System(ITS). In ACC, the steering is done by a driver, but the engine throttle valve and the brake are controlled electronically. The relative velocity and distance from the preceeding vehicle are measured by radars or image processing units and relevant vehicular spacing is maintained in ACC control systems. In this study, vehicle longitudinal dynamics are modeled to simulate vehicle longitudinal maneuver and to design longtitudinal controllers for ACC vehicles. The control algorithm is designed based on the modeled vehicle longitudinal dynamics using a non-linear sliding mode control method. To verity the performance of the control algorithm, a real time numerical simulation program is developed on a Silicon Graphics workstation using C-language . A real time graphic program is alos develpe and integrated with the numerical simulation program.

  • LabVIEW is faster than text language based program regarding development time and can monitor the output of data fast without the separate compiling work as the graphic-based graphical programming language. And, its coding is fast because it is designed by connecting the function with the wire and its has the merit of relatively intuitive UI. In this paper, data transmission and receiving between the program that is implemented in C language as CAN communication method that is strong against noise and used in power electronics application field variously and LabVIEW based program are explained. And, the design of LabVIEW based CAN communication program, data analysis and GUI screen composition that is convenient for monitoring are shown.

  • This paper describes the development of a brickwork game with three-dimensional computer graphics as one of web-based game contents. Client user using web can access and run lava applet program with the independence of hardware system. It consists of graphic user interface module, initial space generation module, event handler module, player control module, and thread control module. It uses 3-D array data structure for the 3-D graphic objects that are located in three-dimensional space for high-speed object searching and sorting. It enhances to compare with predetermined construction in three-dimensional space. We can use the developed racing game to inform game users of information for an advertisement like tourism information, and can apply the proposed 3-D drawing technology to 3-D game graphic engine core.

  • Background: This is a study for building up the database foundation and about graphic structures of Ontology Network systems of Taeyangbyung compilation in Sanghannon in Traditonal Korean Medicine. Therefore, we began to this study about the systematic clinical ontology network systems with priority given to symptoms of Taeyangbyung compilation in Sanghannon. Purpose: We have two goals to carry out this study. The first, we will establish the minimum clinical grouping data sets about symptoms of Taeyangbyung compilation in Sanghannon. The second, we will find out graphic structures of ontology network system in this part, and analysis that. Methods: Through MS office Excel, Access and Netminer software, we will construct the minimum clinical grouping data sets and the graphic structures of ontology network system about symptoms of Taeyangbyung compilation in Sanghannon, and analysis that. Results: We established the minimum clinical grouping data sets about symptoms of Taeyangbyung compilation in Sanghannon through MS Excel and Access software, and constructed the ontology images to structurize our database through Netminer program, and analysis that. Conclusions: Further research about ontology network between symptoms and prescription and three Yang and three Um(Taeyang, Soyang, Yangmyung, Taeum, Soum, Gualum) Disease compilation is necessary.

  • In this paper development of an automatic grid generation program for flow field calculation around 3D wing is described and its application is also introduced. The program is developed by using JAVA programming language and a graphic library, JOGL, and it can be usee either as an application program on a local computer or as a applet in the network environment. Currently, The program provides NACA series 4-digit airfoils as the wing cross-section shape and it offers a non-complicated GUI program which can easily generate structured grids for wings based on user's parameter input. Grid generated by the program can be selected as one of two types; O-type and C-type. In this research advancing layer method(ALM) augmented by elliptic smoothing method is used for the FLUENT. It is shown that by using current program high-quality structured grids around 3D wings can be easily generated, and typical grid generation results and flow solutions are demonstrated. Study on effects of geometric parameters on flow field is also tried by changing major wing parameters such as incidence angle type of wing-tip and sweepback angle.

  • This study considers the development of plug-in, which enables backup save using Maya SDK, API and MEL technologies. It also considers its realization in Maya program and the other various application programs. The various ways of backup save have been found by analyzing the difficulties of file management and storage when using many kinds of plug-in of Maya. An objective has been set as to increase the efficiency of the developer preventing the unintentional modification of the existing and overlapping file by using backup save plug-in. Based on a such objective, this study considers if a backup save is helpful to a graphic developer to use Maya program in more efficient way and if it improves the data maintenance. Currently, it can function as a backup save only within the Maya Program, but such plug-ins to be applied within various application programs are developed for giving more freedom to computer graphic designers.
