The Virtual Environment Control using Real-time Graphic Deformation Algorithm (실시간 그래픽 디포메이션 알고리즘을 이용한 가상환경젱어)

  • In the established virtual-reality system, although it is possible to transact a faculty of sensation and graphic in a single PC, virtual object forcibly treated with rigid body for the reason of the huge amount of calculation, and the number of polygon is restricted. Furthermore, there is some difficulty in the financial aspect and a program field, because the existing virtual-reality system needs at least two workstations or super computers. In this study, the new force-reflecting algorithm called as "Proxy" and a finite element method of Hyperion are applied to this system in order to transact in real-time. Consequently, though the number of polygon, which brings about an obstacle is increased in the real-time graphic transaction, this system makes it possible to transact in the real-time, not being influenced by the size of the virtual object.

  • As make a simulator including user interface functions like start & stop, load parameters, record and save, view 3D display has a real-like length and numerical value of sizes, represent real-shape of inner and outer part of robot, make the possible fast and slow selective observation as a adjust a step, receiving the images through the image device which attached in robot, so make a motion tester simulator of humanoid robot which coded by windows based GUI(Graphic User Interface) program with a MMI(Man Machine Interface) function that user can watch the environment which included robot and use a images. For implement this, we use a design data that converted data which made by use a CAD for Laser RP(Rapid Prototyping) progress into C coding for simulator programming. Using OpenGL, an API of graphic, it has a efficiency and detail of graphic operation. To make and test animation data, it has the option of save and resume in animation.

  • With the development of many display technologies currently applied to them in the field of printed electronics, there have been many researches that high resolution printing for thin and uniform pattern. In this paper, printing ink flow properties in the reverse offset mechanism were simulated. The aim of this research is to expect the ink flow behavior between cliches to make fine pattern by a printing technique which is a reverse offset. The simulation results show that almost the same as the experiments and the flow behavior according to the ink film thickness and printing pressure changes could be expected.

  • n this thesis CAM(content Addressable Memory) generator and graphic display tool for run-plot sequence in automatic generation of CAM are presented. We show that implementing the layout generation, graphic menu, mouse driver, and data structure by using the basic classes is clear and easy in modification than the conventional procedural language. For the implementation of generator which is independent of design rule or process, we use the parameterized cell so that basic cell can be changed according to user's inputs. and perform the layout by means of placement and routing using pitch mathching. Finally, the display of CIF which generated and constitution of graphic menu for total run-plot sequence are explained.

  • The functional dyes, which has various optical characteristics that can be applicable to field of electronic, photo electronic, such as sensor or electrode, were synthesized. Physical property and optical stability was studied with preparation of conductive type film as a kind of optical filter of plasma display panel, by adapting neon cut off dye, which can selectively absorbing between 580 and 610nm wavelength. The filter was prepared with PSA resin, which has functional group of - COOH and - OH, as binder. And the characters such as spectroscopy, heat-proof / wet-proof, thermal stability and commerciality, which must be held by functional dyes, were examined. Conductive type film is the kind of film includes only neon cut off dyes. For the neon cut off dyes, cyanine dyes can be applied. And it is observed that spectrum of before and after the durability test are not changed due to stability of dyes, as the result of coating on the mesh film with PSA binder.

  • Gravure off-set printing recently is used in electronics display market. This method has advantages of mass production and high printing speed. It is also fine pattern can be implemented. We have manufactured low-curable conductive Ag pastes for gravure off-set printing. When printing, the pastes be used different silver powder shape because of the printing characteristics. The pastes were prepared with silver powder by silver powder shape and size, epoxy resin, solvent and homogenized on a standard three-roll mill. And the pastes exhibited a shear-thinning flow at viscosity profile. Moreover the adhesive strength and resistivity of silver film had a good characteristics. With the manufactured paste in this study, touch panel had is manufactured and it had $4{\times}10-5{\Omega}.cm$.

  • In this paper, we propose the haptic system for the real-time virtual environment-control, which controls the sense of sight, hearing and touch. In order to maintain the stable haptic system in this study, we apply the proxy force rendering algorithm and the real-time graphic deformation algorithm based on the FEM. The applied proxy algorithm makes the system possible to be more stable and prompt with a virtual object. Moreover, the haptic rendering algorithm is applied to work out a problem that the tactual transaction-period is different from the graphic transaction- period. The graphic deformation algorithm is developed in the real-time using the deformed FEM. To apply the FEM, a deformed material-model is produced and then the graphic deformation with this model is able to force. Consequently, the graphic rendering algorithm is deduced by the real-time calculation and simplification because the purpose of this system is to transact in the real time. Applying this system to the PC, we prove that it is possible to deform the graphics and transact the haptic. Finally we suggest the variable simulation program to show the efficiency of this system.

  • In order to access to the Business Computer (B/C), the Process Computer(P/C), and the Database Server in one terminal, the Open Man Machine Interface (MMI) System has been developed. The testbed to develop the interface functions for B/C, P/C, DB server, and CCD camera were constructed, which consisted of Workstations and Personal Computers (PC). Graphic display programs Monitoring the process states of Tandem Cold Mill plant were developed using four Graphic User Interface tools: InTouch, FIX32, Open Interface Environment, and ILOG Views. With regard to the CPU utilization and response delay required to open new display, the performance tests have been carried out on each MMI platform.

  • Cathode ray tubes (CRT) are the most common electronic display in use in information technology. The CRT consists of an electron gun, electrostatic or magnetic fields to direct the electron beam, and a phosphor screen. When the electron beam strikes the phosphor screen, the phosphor generates light. The phosphor screen has formed by precipitation method, electro-forming and centrifuge method. The high quality product was achieved by electro-forming or centrifuge method. Now applying method is electro-forming used with phosphor and Eh(isopropyl alcohol). Now applying method has been much consumption of raw-material, dirty working environment, dangerous fire and require of high cost. New method to form phosphor surface of monochrome is required to improve this matter. This study was developed novel method to form the phosphor surface by heat-transfer method. This method have advantages of simple process, automatization, clean environment, saving raw material and saving running-cost.

  • 빠른 인터넷의 보급과 빈번하게 발생하는 원격지 구성원간의 협업으로 인해서 쉽고 편리하게 이용 가능한 다자간 협업 환경의 필요성이 대두되었으며 현재 이와 관련한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 커뮤니티 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 원격 협업을 지원하기 위한 구성 기술로는 먼저 지능형 원격협업을 지원할 수 있는 시스템 및 네트워킹 구조를 설계하는 기술, 다양한 종류의 입력 채널의 내용을 동시에 보여줄 수 있는 디스플레이를 제공하는 기술, 협업 구성원 간의 자연스러운 데이터 및 태스크 마이그레이션 기반 기술, 그리고 다양한 사용자 인터랙션을 제공하는 기술 등이 있다. 그러나 무엇보다도 사용자 편의성 면에서는 위치적인 이질감을 극복하고 현장감 있는 공동 작업을 지원할 수 있는 사용자 인터랙션 기술이 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 인터랙션을 지원하기 위한 다양한 인터랙션 기술을 소개하며 사용자의 인터랙션이 발생했을 경우 사용자의 의도에 따라 변경된 협업 환경, 특히 공통 디스플레이 화면의 변경 정보를 사용자 컨트롤 머신에도 Graphic User Interface(GUI) 기술을 통해 제공하는 방안이 논의되어 진다.
