기지하중을 받는 교량구조물의 현장 계측 및 해석에 따른 응력분포 연구 (Analytical and Field Investigation of Bridge Stress Distribution under Proof Load)

  • 본 연구는 기지하중을 이용하여 교량의 효율적 평가를 하기 위한 것이다. 계산상 내하력이 부족한 것으로 평가된 교량의 하중저항능력은 기존의 방법에 의한 평가능력을 상회하는 경우가 일반적이다. 기지하중을 이용한 실험은 미지의 저항능력을 평가할 수 있으며, 따라서 대상교량의 하중저항능력을 정확히 검증할 수 있다. 실험을 위한 기지하중은 일반적인 통행하중보다 큰 것을 사용하여야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미시간 주에서는 법적으로 허용된 11축 트럭 하중(685kN)을 고려하여, 두 대의 군용탱크와 두 대의 11축 트럭을 이용하였으며, 실험의 안전을 위하여 재하하중의 크기를 점진적으로 증가하면서 계측을 실시하였다. 실험에 의한 대상 교량의 응력수준은 계산에 의한 값보다 다소 작게 측정되었으며, 이는 부적절한 재료강도의 예측, 파라펫이나 가드레일과 같은 비구조요소의 기여, 지지조건의 변화 등에 기인한 것으로 분석되었다.

감즙 염색에 의한 레이온 직물의 역학적 특성 (Mechanical Properties of Rayon Fabrics dyed with Persimmon Juice)

  • For development of dyeability, the rayon fabrics were dyed repeatedly with persimmon juice by padding mangle. The merit of padding-based dyeing was easier color reproduction over traditional hand dyeing where various colors and color fastness to light and laundering are hard to obtain. We evaluated the mechanical properties and hand value by Kawabata Evaluation system for dyed rayon fabrics. The results obtained from this study were as follows. With the increase of repeating padding times of dyeing, the linearity load-extension curve and tensile energy per unit length of the rayon fabrics were increased, but the tensile resilience of fabrics were decreased. The value of shear stiffness and shear hysteresis were increased. Also compression resilience and linearity of compression thickness were increased. The rayon fabrics dyed with persimmon juice had shown the thickness and weight increase as the number of padding increase. As repeating times of dyeing with persimmon juice were increased, among the 6 hand values, the item of koshi(stiffness) and Hari(anti-drape stiffness), fukurami(fullness and softness) were increased. while Shinayakasa (flexibility with soft feeling) and Shari(crispness) were greately decreased. The amount of coated persimmon juice on the surface of the fabric was gradually increased as the padding times of dyeing.

  • For development of dyeability, the cotton fabric was dyed repeatedly with persimmon juice by padding mangle. We evaluated the mechanical properties and hand value by Kawabata Evaluation System, and observed the change of surface morphology. The results obtained from this study were as follows. Biosorption of Methylene Blue from Aqueous Solution using Dried Rhodotorula glutinis Biomass

  • The biosorption of methylene blue (MB) from aqueous solution was investigated using dried Rhodotorula glutinis as the biosorbent. The effects of pH, initial dye concentration, biosorbent dosage, and kinetic studies were determined to obtain valuable information for biosorption. Results indicated that most of the adsorbed MB bound within 30 minutes of contact and the MB adsorption capacity increased from 21.1 to 101.8 mg/g with the initial MB concentration increased from 50 to 300 mg/L. Additionally, the MB adsorption capacity gradually increased from pH 4.0 to 9.0, reaching its peak at an initial pH of 9.0. As the biomass load was increased from 0.25 to 4.0 g/L, the MB removal efficiency increased from 14.1 to 84.5%. The Langmuir model provided the best fit throughout the concentration range, and the maximum adsorption capacity (qmax) and Langmuir constant (b) were determined to be 135.14 mg/g and 0.026 l/mg, respectively. Furthermore, the biosorbent process of R. glutinis was found to follow pseudo-second-order kinetics and the calculated qeq,cal value showed good agreement with the experimental qeq value. Overall, the biosorption of MB by R. glutinis can be characterized as a monolayer, single site type phenomenon, and the rate-limiting step was determined to be the chemical reaction between the adsorbent and the adsorbate.

중탄소 Boron강의 가스침질탄화처리에 의해 형성된 화합물층의 마모특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wear Characteristics of Compound Layers Formed during Gaseous Nitrocarburizing in Medium Carbon Boron Steels)

  • The study on the wear characteristics of compound layers formed during gaseous nitrocarburising in the medium carbon boron steels and the plain carbon steel has been carried out by using a pin-on-disc type wear test machine under the oil lubricating condition at room temperature and by varying applied loads, sliding speeds and wear distances. Values of friction coefficient measured at the sliding speed of 0.4m/sec under the oil lubricating condition have been shown to decrease considerably with increasing applied load and become gradually a constant value as load is increased to a higher value, showing that the transition load for friction coefficient appears at an applied load of 247.2N. The length and volume wear rates of compound layer have been revealed to relatively constantly increase, also showing that the wear life per unit thickness of compound layer turns out to be superior as porous layer has a denser and thinner appearance. As the sliding speed increases during wear test performed by varying sliding speed at a load of 63.2N under the oil lubricating condition for medium carbon boron steel nitrocarburised in gas atmosphere, the wear rate has been found to increase, the friction coefficient to decrease and the wear life per unit thickness of compound layer to decrease considerably.

치관/고정체 비에 따른 상악 구치부 임플란트 주변골의 응력 분포에 대한 3차원 유한요소법적 분석 (Stress distribution in bone surrounding maxillary molar implants under different crown-to-fixture ratio: A 3D FEM analysis)

  • 목적: 상악 구치부에서 자연치와 임플란트 보철시, 보철치관/고정체 비율에 따른 응력분포 양상을 비교하고자 했다. 재료 및 방법: 자연치 모델의 경우는 획득한 3차원 인체모델을 상악 좌측 제2소구치 및 제 1대구치가 포함된 상악골을 Box 형태의 3차원 유한요소모델로 변환하였고, 임플란트 모델은 3차원 인체모델에서 치아 부분을 제거하고 동일 부위에 임플란트 모델을 연결하는 과정을 거쳐서 임플란트가 삽입된 유한요소모델을 구성하였다. 치관/고정체 비율을 0.7:1, 1:1, 1.25:1이 되도록 골수준 (bone level)을 조정하였으며 각 모델의 치관 부위에 300 N의 수직 하중과 수평하중을 각각 가했다. 결과: 1. 모든 하중 조건하에서 자연치와 임플란트 모두에서 피질골과 인접하는 경부에 응력이 집중되는 양상을 보였다. 2. 치관/치근 (고정체) 비가 증가함에 따라 자연치와 임플란트 모두에서 교합면에 수직적 하중을 가한 경우에는 응력의 변화가 뚜렷하지 않았으나, 수평적 하중을 가한 경우에서는 응력이 증가하는 양상을 보였다. 3. 자연치의 경우에 치관/치근비가 증가함에 따라 splinting이 응력감소 효과를 보였고, 임플란트의 경우에는, 치관/고정체 비가 증가함에 따라 splinting이 수직 하중조건에 응력감소효과를 보였으나, 중심에서 벗어난 하중조건에는 최대응력이 오히려 증가하는 양상을 보였다. 4. 임플란트의 경우, 치관/고정체 비가 증가함에 따라 splinting이 수평하중조건 4에서 뚜렷한 응력감소 효과를 보이나, 수평 하중조건 5에서는 응력감소 효과가 감소되고, 특히 치관/고정체 비가 1.25:1인 경우에서는 오히려 응력의 증가를 보였다. 결론: 임플란트 보철물은 치관/고정체 비가 커질수록 더 큰 응력을 받게 되고, splinting의 효과도 감소하게 된다. 또한 교합하중이 임플란트의 장축을 벗어나거나 중심에서 벗어난 경우 응력이 커지는 것으로 사료된다.

Sputter 착색에 의한 Black-dyed PET 직물의 색상 및 물성변화 (Colour Change of Black-dyed PET Fabrics by Sputter Coloration and Their Physical Properties)

  • Black-dyed PET fabrics were sputtered with stainless steel through DC-magnetron type device to investigate the possibility of coloration effect, and then considered the morphological structure and physical characteristics such as water permeation ability and washing fastness. Change in color was estimated on the basis of CIELAB color system. The color coordination of metal plated PET was shifted to yellow-red from red-blue. Colour difference$({\Delta}E^*)$ was increased by sputtering conditions with increasing ion current and treatment time. Especially, $Lightness(L^*)$ value of PET was remarkably increased by sputtering, whereas $Chroma(C^*)$ increased gradually. From SEM analysis, rough and uneven craters were found and thickened on the fiber surfaces with longer sputtering time. And washing fastness was a little poor and absorption ability slightly decreased. There were little changes of breaking load and breaking extension. It was evident that observed uneven craters in the plated thin layer resulted in the colour change of PET fabrics by sputtering treatments.

농도의 기층 및 보조기층 공법연구 -노상 및 시멘트 안정 처리층의 Mr 특성을 중심으로- (Study on the Base and Subbase Method of Agricultural Road -On the Resilient Modulus Characteristics of the Subgrade and Cement Treated Base-)

  • The characteristics of resilient modulus(Mr) which dominates the life of pavement and the design of pavement were investigated on the test specimens which were cement treated and non-treated of the three different soil types. The results are summarized as follows : 1. The resilient modulus was decreased by increasing the cyclic deviator stress ($\sigma$d) , especially the resilient modulus was gradually decreased or sometimes increased when the value of ad was greater than 0.75- 1. 0kg/cm$^2$. 2. The resilient modulus was increased by increasing the homogeneous confined stress ($\sigma$do) and such phenomena were distinct on the coarse soils. 3. The resilient modulus was increased by increasing the ratio of confined stress(Kc), and this phenomena were eminent on the coarse soils too, and the higher permanent strain was showed by increasing the value of Kc. 4. In the drained cyclic triaxial compression test, the value of ad, Kc, and (Oho) was introduced by the following interrelated equations which were similar to the Mr model of Cole. Kcn/Mr=K1(J$_2$/ $\tau$oct)K2 ............. (coarse soli) Mcn/Mr=K3($\sigma$dp/ $\tau$f)k4 ...............(fine soils) 5. The stress path was not much affected by the value of Mr, however, moisture content, dry desity, and contant of fines affected the value of Mr. 6. In the soil-cement specimens, the resilient compression strain($\varepsilon$d) was decreased by the increment of the $\sigma$ho, and Mr was decreased by increasing the $\sigma$d 7. In the flexible pavement. the cement treated layer should be designed not to fail by the fatigue before the designed traffic load, and actually the pavement could cover the traffic load to a certain extent under the post-crack phase, therefore farther studies on this phenomena' are required in the design analysis. 8. The finite element computer program (ANALYS) was used for displacement analysis of pavement containing the cement-treated layer, The result showed that the program used for this analysis was proved to be usable.

다중 과하중에 의한 A1 7075-T6 합금의 피로균열 성장지연현상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fatigue Crack Growth Retardation Phenomena of Al 7075--T6 Alloy under Multiple overload(I))

  • Aircraft structures and engineering structures are always subject to variable amplitude loads. Variable amplitude loads include some kind of loading history; for example, constant amplitude load, single peak overload and block overload etc. Crack growth under variable amplitude loading exhibits retardation effect. In this study, the 4 point bending fatigue test was performed by hydrolic servo fatigue testing machine on 7075-T6 Al-alloy. The retardation effect of overload ratio and numbers of overload cycle was quantitatively studied. 1) Change of retardation effect against increment of overload ratio is more evident when the multiple overload is applied than single overload is done. 2) The number of overload cycle is very important factor about the crack growth retardation effect when the overload ratio is more than 1.75; that is not when the overload ratio is less than 1.75. 3) Overload affected zone size increased gradually by increment of crack growth retardation effect. 4) Crack driving force is more greatly reduced when the crack tip branched off two direction than it sloped to one direction.

Stability of a slender beam-column with locally varying Young's modulus

  • A locally varying temperature field or a mixture of two or more different materials can cause local variation of elasticity properties of a beam. In this paper, a new Euler-Bernoulli beam element with varying Young's modulus along its longitudinal axis is presented. The influence of axial forces according to the linearized 2nd order beam theory is considered, as well. The stiffness matrix of this element contains the transfer constants which depend on Young's modulus variation and on axial forces. Occurrence of the polynomial variation of Young's modulus has been assumed. Such approach can be also used for smooth local variation of Young's modulus. The critical loads of the straight slender columns were studied using the new beam element. The influence of position of the local Young's modulus variation and its type (such as linear, quadratic, etc.) on the critical load value and rate of convergence was investigated. The obtained results based on the new beam element were compared with ANSYS solutions, where the number of elements gradually increased. Our results show significant influence of the locally varying Young's modulus on the critical load value and the convergence rate.
