이브 생 로랑(Yves Saint Laurent) 작품에 수용된 예술과의 교류 (Interchange with Art Contained in the Works of Yves Saint Laurent)

  • This study deals with the interchange with art that is contained in the works of Yves Saint Laurent, and it is disclosed through his works that modern fashion is part of expressive art while pursuing creative function as a work of art. The study has been performed on the basis of the references, the pictures of his works and interviews posted in domestic and overseas fashion magazines such as Vogue, Fashion News, Mode & Mode, Gap, Collections, etc. Regarding the scope of this study, it specifically deals with works he created from 1958 until 2002, when he announced his last collection. The results of the study show that with respect to Post-Impressionism, his works were greatly affected by van Gogh(who had used colors as active media in depicting his internal mental state) which gave birth to gorgeous and handicraft-like 'Couture-style clothes'. With respects to Fauvism, the works of Matisse also had an impact on Yves Saint Laurent, who added a sense of fauvism in his works through the use of colors, motif, or full reproduction of images from paintings. We see the influence of cubism upon Laurent when we examine his works of 'clothes with artistic value,' which utilized applique, beaded decoration, patchwork, embroidered patterns, relief-like ornaments, etc. using motif or objet much as we see in the works of Picasso and Braque, artists who expressed a new dimension of the formative arts. Laurent's use of neoplasticism, or plainness of painting, demonstrates a new formative art on the three-dimensional human body by using the works of Mondrian, which consist of black lines and primary colors, although generally Laurent's 'neoplastic'works differed from the works of Mondrian by more actively utilizing the lines and colors when designing dress and its ornament. In addition, the paintings and poems of surrealism artists and poets were directly used in the clothes or their images were sometimes borrowed. In order to express respect toward the spirit of surrealism and its artists, the human body motifs such as lips and eyes(which were frequently used by the surrealism artists) were applied to embroidery, printing and beaded decoration. Finally, being inspired by such Pop artists as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Tom Wesselman, Laurent further emphasized the aesthetic value of the popular consumer image in his own work, resulting in the wide recognition of the designs of Yves Saint Laurent as representing the new wave of the Pop Art school.

  • Medieval European practical art and style of costume is studied through referring to the literatures. The type of clothing that was seen on tapestries arts and crafts paintings and wall paintings and appeared in the architecture such as church. There were symbolic aspects of color motifs at this period and some restraints for clothing according to the social class, It was a period that draped garments due to the War of Crusades is appeared. Be-cause the medieval taste and decorative character is not only 'formative art' but also the taste beyoud 'mode' and atomsphere of that times it could be seen the strong reflec-tion of customs in the clothing of that times which is shown in works of art. 1) The purpose of Christian art which was found in mosaics stained glasses wall pain-tings and statues of architecture was not just the revival of natural phenomena but visuali-zation of sacred and invisible things. 실내 벽면녹화디자인 특성 연구 - 감성이미지 언어에 따른 선호도를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Characteristic of Indoor Green-Wall Design - With Focused on Preference of Emotional Image Language -)

  • 본 연구는 새롭게 조명되고 있는 실내 벽면녹화 공간화의 영역확대와 복합적이고 다 학문적 관점으로써 관람자 선호요인을 파악하여 실내 공간디자인에 관련한 다양한 정보를 구축하고자 하는 시도이다. 실내 벽면녹화의 사례를 자극물로 선정하여 관람자 선호시점에 대한 요인의 상호 상관 관계성을 구체적이고 개별적 특성으로 추출해냄으로써 폭 넓게 확산되고 있는 실내 벽면녹화 공간영역의 적용 가능성을 제안하였다. 요인분석 결과 관람자들은 자극물에 대해 '쾌적한, 멋진, 풍요로운'의 3가지 차원으로 구분하여 인지하고, 선호도와 상관관계가 높은 형용사 이미지 언어는 '시원한, 깔끔한, 자연스러운, 편안한, 아름다운' 이다. 자극물에 대한 선호디자인 요소의 공통되는 중요도는 색채>구성요소>이미지 형태 식물특성 순으로 나타났으며, 구체적인 디자인 수준별 요소는 대비조>가구>모던 중심형 넝쿨성 관엽식물 순으로 선호되는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 본 연구는 실내 벽면녹화디자인의 정량적 측정에 관련한 프로세스를 제안함으로써 새로운 디자인방향제시의 기회를 갖는데 의의를 두고 있으며, 신뢰도를 높이기 위한 지속적인 검증 연구가 필요하다고 본다.

국내·외 리그별 프로축구 유니폼의 색채 특성과 이미지 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Color Features and Images of Professional Football Uniforms in Korea and Foreign Leagues)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic information necessary to develop sports uniform design by comparing and analyzing the color features and images of professional football uniforms in Korea and foreign countries. The subjects of this study were limited to 5 top leagues in Europe (Premier League, Primera Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1) as well as J-League, and K-League. This study was done using the 2012/2013 season home and away uniforms for European leagues and 2013 season home and away uniforms for Korean and Japan leagues. Using the Adobe photoshop CS2 eyedropper tool, color chips and RGB values were extracted from digital images and converted into HV/C of Munsell Conversion. Finally, a total of 735 colors were used for the analysis. The color image scale by Shigenobu Kobayashi was used to position the color images. The results are as follows. First, the color analysis of professional football uniforms in leagues suggested that chromatic color (53.7%) was more prevalent than achromatic color (46.3%). The two most common colors of the ten chromatic colors were R(19.7%) and PB(18.0%), followed by Y(5.4%), RP(2.0%), G(1.9), GY(1.8%), B(1.6%), YR(1.5%), P(1.1%), and BG(0.7%). Second, for the color tone comparison and analysis of professional football uniforms in leagues, the most commonly used color tone was W(28.4%), followed by v(25.5%), Bk(16.3%), s(5.8%), dk(5.2%), b/lt(5.2%), dp(3.0%), sf(2.0%), ltGy(1.0%), p(0.5%), G/dkGy(0.4%), and ltg/mGy (0.1%). Third, for the comparison and analysis of color and color tone of professional football uniforms in leagues, W(28.4%), R(v)(17.7%), and Bk(16.3%) were commonly used. Finally, for the comparison and analysis of color images of professional football uniforms in leagues, the most commonly used color image was a casual image(31.8%), followed by modern image(26.5%), dynamic12.8%), cool casual(12.0%), gorgeous(9.3%), clear(6.6%), chic(3.5%), and elegant images. Dandy, classical, romantic and pretty images(0.4% respectively) were also used.

  • The purpose of this study is to present a theoretical framework for analysis and interpretation of medieval look in fashion by investigating its aesthetic values. Accordingly, it would provide a better understanding of the medieval culture with its composite aspects. Modernism sought to make the Middle Ages in its own image.'New Medievalism' has on the whole tried to avoid reading the Middle Ages onto the modern world. Instead it designates a predisposition about the discipline of medieval studies broadly conceived. Consequently, it has changed the viewpoint of medieval culture from the one-sided angle into the diversified one. As recent studies based on New Medievalism have argued, a close look at the medieval culture revealed the dualistic nature of it, with contradictory aspects such as piety and secularity, ideality and formality coexisting. The characteristics of the medieval culture are categorized to asceticism, naturalism, mysticism and secularism. Asceticism, which is responsible for the melancholic and heavy atmosphere of the medieval culture, is related to christianity and despair of life. It is expressed in medieval dress in forms of body-concealing semi-fitted silhouette, coarse texture and dark color. As a reaction to the extreme splendor and exposure of recent fashion, the ascetic medieval look is attracting attention. The monastic look is characterized by body-concealing silhouettes and minimalized usage of colors and details. Naturalism is the feature seeking for purity of the nature and the human itself. It appears in terms of line as a smooth curve flowing along the body contours, or as a revival style of the Greco-Roman drapery in the medieval dress. Naturalism in the medieval look of the late 20th century fashion is expressed as a pure image with the use of sheer and soft fabric to form a smooth curve flowing along the body contours. Mysticism symbolizes the authority of the Christ and the glory of heaven. It is presented in the medieval dress of the body-concealing straight silhouette made of gorgeous fabrics, brilliant colors and decorations by gems and gold. The insecurity caused by the fin-de-siecle mood is creating a strong interest in religion and it is reflected in fashion as a medieval look reviving the solemn and magnificent style of the medieval dress. Secularism is a reflection of the medieval mind of indulging in the beauty of the mundane world. Heraldry and excessive decorations of the medieval dress are forms of this secularism. These styles of gorgeousness are being refined into a new medieval look of the 1990's. The medieval look of the modern fashion is featured in various styles, reflecting the pluralism of the postmodern society.

TV 화질에 대한 감성평가척도 개발 (Development of Emotion Assessment Scale in Evaluation of Television Picture Quality)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 TV 화질에 대한 사용자들의 심리적 특성을 평가하기 위한 화질평가척도를 개발하고, TV 화질의 심리 특성과 물리적 특성의 관계를 확인하는 것이다. TV 화질과 관련된 형용사 152개 중 집단설문(남녀 대학생 80명)을 통하여 TV 화질을 잘 표현하는 형용사로 19개의 형용사를 선정하였다. 선정된 형용사는 다음과 같다; '깔끔하다-지저분하다', '깨끗하다-더럽다', '산뜻하다-침울하다', '편안하다-긴장된다', '매끄럽다-거칠다', '밝다-어둡다', '화려하다-수수하다', '변화스럽다-단조롭다', '자연스럽다', '감각적이다', '만족스럽다'. 126명의 남녀 대학생을 대상으로 이들 형용사의 유사성 평정을 실시하고, 유사성 점수에 대하여 요인분석(주성분분석, oblique 회전)을 실시한 결과, '깔끔함' 차원과 '화려함' 차원으로 분류되었다. 그리고 31명의 남녀 대학생을 대상으로 TV 화질에 대한 감성과 물리적 특성과의 관계를 확인하였다. 그 결과 TV 화질에 대한 감성 형용사들은 밝기, 명암, 색농도와 색상의 변화에는 민감하였으나, 선명도의 변화에는 민감하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

근대 아동한복 연구 (Korean Traditional Children's Clothes in Modern Times)

  • Korean children's clothes have unique aesthetic characteristics distinguished from other countries'. Our folk beliefs handed down from ancient times always contained fortune - seeking thoughts and particularly mothers' earnest wishes for the happiness of their children were sublimated into the symbolic beauty of their children's clothes. The present study examined children's clothes in the royal family and among the people for 50 years of the transitional period from the late Joseon Dynasty to modern times, by classifying them into ritual dress for new-born babies, festival dress and everyday dress. Male children's clothes included caps such as Bokgeon(복건), Hogeon(호건) and Gulle(굴레) topcoats such as Durumagi(두루마기), Sagyusam(사규삼) Koija(쾌자) and Jeonbok(전복) and others such as Magoja(마고자), Baeja(배자), Joggi(조끼) and Bajijeogori(바지저고리), Female children's clothes included caps and head ornaments such as Gulle, Jobawi(조바위) and Daenggi(댕기) and others such as Durumagi, Jegori and Chima(치마). What is interesting is that old clothes handed down to the present are mostly boys' and few of them are girls'. This is probably because of the strong preference for boys rather than girls that continued until the end of the 20th century. Ordinary people dressed their new - born babies with simple white clothes until Samchilil (the 21st day) or Baekil (the 100thday) but, for these occasions, the royal family prepared clothes as formal as those for the $1^{st}$ birthday among the public. Rainbow-striped garments were more popular among the public than in the royal family. As rainbow colors were known to Korean people to dispel evil power and bring in fortunes, rainbow - striped garments were essential for the $1^{st}$ birthday and festive days. However, they were seldom used in ordinarytimes, and most boys and girls wore plain jackets and plain topcoats. When children's clothes in noble families were compared with royal family's ones, either handed down to the present or found in old literature, no significant difference was observed in the basic composition of everyday dress. In particular, it was found that Andong Kim's family had dressed their children with very formal dress such as Dopo and Sagyusam. Among children's clothes, the most gorgeous one was that worn on the $1^{st}$ birthday, and those for other occasions or festive days were similar or simpler. Colors, patterns and designs used in decorating children's clothes mostly had the meanings of seeking fortunes for children such as long life, wealth and prosperity.

『주역』 속에 나타난 최고 통치권자와 부하 직원의 상호 작용 관계 연구 (A Study for the Relationship between the Sovereign and the Follower in Juyeok)

  • 이 논문에서는 "주역"의 기본 요소인 음양, 소성 팔괘, 대성 64괘를 토대로 최고 통치권자와 하위 직원 사이의 관계 유형을 살펴보았다. "주역"에서 최고통치권자인 5효는 (1) 기본적으로 양(陽)이냐 음(陰)이냐에 따라 기본적 특성에 차이를 보이고(대분류), (2) 자신이 몸담고 있는 소성괘의 특성에 기반한 특징을 보이며(중분류), (3) 대성괘(大成卦)의 상황에 따라 다른 특성을 보인다(세(細)분류). 양효인 5효는 '양의 성질'을 가진 남성형 최고 통치권자로 여겨지고, 음효인 5효는 '음의 성질'을 가진 여성형 최고 통치권자로 볼 수 있다. 건괘는 가장 건장한 지도자로서 의젓함과 판단력이 뛰어난 '건장한 지도자형'이고, 태괘는 건장함 속에 자애롭고 차분한 '은택의 지도자형'이다. 리괘는 화려하고 열정적인 '열정의 지도자형'이고, 진괘는 음이 지배적인 분위기 속에서 용기 있게 시작의 상승 작용을 하는 '개척의 지도자형'이다. 손괘는 사양하고 양보하는 미덕을 지닌 '겸양의 지도자형'이며, 감괘는 항시 아래하면서 냉정한 사리분별력을 가진 '지혜의 지도자형'이다. 간괘는 땅의 위로 우뚝 솟구친 '의지의 지도자형'이며, 곤괘는 곧고 반듯하며 모든 것을 받아들이는 '포용의 지도자형'이다. 소성괘가 중첩되어 이루어진 대성괘(64괘)는 소성 8괘의 속성이 아래(내괘), 위(외괘)로 현현(顯顯)된다. 그러면서 동시에 대성괘 전체의 특성이 나타나게 된다. 최고 통치 지도자도 이런 '대성괘가 가지고 있는 속성'을 바탕으로 지도력을 발휘해야만 한다. 이 '대성괘가 가지고 있는 속성'은 상황적 리더십의 '상황'으로서, 다른 말로 하면 지도자가 인정하고 들어가야만 하는 전제 조건이기도 한다.

드림웍스 애니메이션 영화 시나리오의 창작 스타일에 관한 연구 (Research on the Creative Style of DreamWorks' Animated Film Script)

  • 오늘날 세계 시네마 애니메이션의 주류는 미국 디즈니, 드림웍스, 20세기 폭스 같은 영화사들이 출품한 애니메이션 영화이다. 이 애니메이션 영화들은 할리우드 블록버스터 제작의 영향을 받아, 높은 원가, 대작으로 전세계 관객들에게 현란하고 화려한 시청각의 향연을 선사했다. 1994년 설립된 드림웍스 애니메이션은 10여년 만에 유명해졌다. 선후로 전 세계에 널리 알려진 많은 애니메이션 가작을 출품하였다. 그러나 드림웍스의 성취는 외부 환경 요인을 제외하면 자신의 애니메이션 시나리오가 과인한 데서 비롯된다. 강력한 시나리오 스토리지는 애니메이션 영화의 논리적이고 매력적인 측면을 보장합니다. 본 문에서는 <쿵푸팬더> 시리즈, <슈렉> 시리즈, <이집트 왕자>, <크루즈 패밀리>, <치킨 런>, <메가마인드> 그리고 드림웍스가 제작한 다른 대표 영화들을 주요 분석 대상으로 하여, 그것의 극본 창작 스타일은 다음 네 가지 측면의 예술적 특징을 가지고 있음을 검토하였다. 극본은 과장이 심하고, 제재가 풍부하며, 정합성이 뛰어나며, 극본 창작은 상상력이 뛰어나 시각적 아름다움을 충분히 표현할 수 있다. 스토리 구조는 잘 조절되어 있고, 공간은 현실에서 나오지만 상상력으로 가득 차 있다. 캐릭터는 개성이 뚜렷하고 대화는 온건하지만 강압적이다.

  • 본고는 바즈루어만 감독 영화음악의 특징을 분석하기 위하여 그의 대표작 <댄싱히어로>, <로미오와 줄리엣>, <물랑루즈>를 연대기 순으로 분석을 함으로서 각 작품에서 사용된 음악의 특징과 역할에 대하여 살펴보았다. 먼저, <댄싱히어로>에서는 댄스 스포츠의 다양한 춤을 역동감 있는 촬영 기법을 통해 담아내면서 다양한 장르의 댄스음악을 활용하여 내러티브를 주도했으며, 특히 메인 테마 음악으로 'Time after Time'을 사용하여 최신 팝 음악으로 관객의 감성을 자극했다. 그리고, 셰익스피어의 원작인 <로미오와 줄리엣>에서는 대사와 스토리를 유지하며 화려한 패션과 다양한 록 음악을 주크박스 스타일로 꾸며내었고, 또한 가장 현대적이고 트렌드한 MTV스타일 영상으로 조화를 이루었다. 마지막으로 <물랑루즈>에서는 고전적 백 스테이지 뮤지컬과 발리우드 영상을 담아내며 주크박스 형식의 트렌드한 곡으로 구성되었지만 그 곡을 섞어서 한곡처럼 부른 '믹스 앤드 매치'의 방법을 통해 영화음악을 발전시켰다. 결론적으로 바즈루어만 감독은 화려한 영상미와 더불어 다양한 주크박스식 음악을 영상과 연결하여 다양한 스타일의 영화음악을 트랜디하게 발전시켰고, 이는 기존의 곡조차 새롭게 느껴지게 하는 바즈 루어만 감독만의 독특한 영화음악 연출 방식으로 재탄생되게 되었다.
