Variety of smart devices including smart phone have become and essential item in user's daily life. This means that smart devices are good mediators to get collecting user's behavior by sensors mounted on the devices. The information from smart devices is important clues to identify by analyzing the user's preferences and needs. Through this, the intelligent service which is fitted to the user is possible. This paper propose a smart service recommendation model based on user scenario using fusion context-awareness. The information for recommendation services is collected to make the scenario depending on time, location, action based on the Fusion process. The scenarios can help predict a user's situation and provide the services in advance. Also, content categories as well as the content types are determined depending on the scenario. The scenario is a method for providing the best service as well as a basis for the user's situation. Using this method, proposing a smart service model with the fusion context-awareness based on the hybrid sensing is the goal of this paper.

The ROK Army must detect the enemy's location and the type of artillery weapon to respond effectively at wartime. This paper proposes a radar positioning model by applying a scenario-based robust optimization method i.e., binary integer programming. The model consists of the different types of radar, its available quantity and specification. Input data is a combination of target, weapon types and enemy position in enemy's attack scenarios. In this scenario, as the components increase by one unit, the total number increases exponentially, making it difficult to use all scenarios. Therefore, we use partial scenarios to see if they produce results similar to those of the total scenario, and then apply them to case studies. The goal of this model is to deploy an artillery locating radar that maximizes the detection probability at a given candidate site, based on the probability of all possible attack scenarios at an expected enemy artillery position. The results of various experiments including real case study show the appropriateness and practicality of our proposed model. In addition, the validity of the model is reviewed by comparing the case study results with the detection rate of the currently available radar deployment positions of Corps. We are looking forward to enhance Korea Artillery force combat capability through our research.

The rescue methods for the marine casualties are limited due to the characteristics of operation environment of the vessel. Especially the most of marine accidents have been occurred at the bow structure of ship. Moreover the failure of bow structure may lead to catastrophic mishaps. In this paper, the extents of damage of a bow structure fracture subject to collision accident was investigated by using numerical method. The computer simulation approach by using Finite Element Method was employed to accomplish this goal. A finite element model, a 3D model of ship, has been utilized to evaluate damage of bow structure according to collision scenario. In conclusion, we have demonstrated that the plastic deformation occurred at the bow structure. Also it was shown that the collision angle clearly plays a role in determining amount of damage of ship structures.

This paper aims to develop numerical models for seismically-deficient reinforced concrete columns retrofitted using a fiber-reinforced polymer jacketing system under blast loading scenarios. To accomplish the research goal, a coupling model reproducing blast loads was developed and implemented to the column model. The column model was validated with a past experimental study, and the blast responses were compared to the numerical responses produced by past researchers. The validated modeling method was implemented to the non-retrofitted and retrofitted column models to estimate the effectiveness of the retrofit system. Based on the numerical responses, the retrofit system can significantly reduce the peak dynamic responses under a given blast loading scenario.
This paper introduces an event modeling and simulation system using behavior trees. The system aims to overcome the limitations of existing fixed, simple scenario-based training content, and to extend the behavior of objects to enable various experience deployments. To achieve this goal, we made specific tasks of behavior trees can change according to users' reaction and developed an adaptive simulation module that can analyze and execute behavior trees that changes at runtime. In order to validate our approach, we applied the adaptive behavior tree simulation to the scenarios in our virtual reality simulation-based fire training system we have been developing and demonstrated the implementation results.
Purpose: Earthquake disasters are frequently occur unpredictable situations due to various variables and unexpected situations. As a result, the work process itself is not uniform, making it difficult for public officials in the disaster safety department to familiarize themselves with the earthquake field manual. This paper is specifically and accurately grasp the current work situation conducted by the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office and present a plan for designing serious game scenarios necessary for field manual learning. Method: In this study, scenarios were designed based on the GBS(Goal Based Scenario) model, and in the process of assigning missions and roles based on the Gyeongsangbuk-do earthquake field manual, public officials related to earthquakes were able to acquire knowledge and skills to solve practical tasks. Result: Scenario data of the proposed technique was implemented as a systematic procedure by processing various earthquake-related information into logical data and simplifying and abstracting it for game expression for earthquake situation training. Conclusion: In the event of an earthquake due to learning through serious games, related public officials of Gyeongsangbuk-do provincial are expected to be able to respond quickly to various earthquake disasters.
Funded by the Singapore National Science and Technology Board (NSTB), CAMTech is collaborating with a Singaporean research institute and two industry partners with the objective to improve electronics assembly processes. The goal of this project is to visualise the behaviour of an electronics assembly industry by simulating, visualising the discrete events of the entire manufacturing processes and observing the flow of materials, size of buffers, and line balancing. The traditional scenario - from the customer placing order for a product to delivery - goes through various phases including manufacturing the product. Several major electronics manufacturing stages can be addressed: fabrication, assembly ...
Currently, sharp increase of car is on the rise as a serious social problem due to loss of lives from car accident and environmental pollution. There is a study on ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) to seek coping measures. As for the commercialization of ITS, we aim for occupancy of world market through ASV (Advanced Safety Vehicle) related system development and international standardization. However, the domestic environment is very insufficient. Core factor technologies of ITS are Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System, Forward Collision Warning System, AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) system etc. These technologies are applied to cars to support driving of a driver. AEB system is stop the car automatically based on the result decided by the relative speed and distance with obstacle detected through sensor attached on car rather than depending on the driver. The purpose of AEB system is to measure the distance and speed of car and to prevent accident. Thus, AEB will be a system useful for prevention of accident by decreasing car accident along with the development of automobile technology. This study suggests a scenario to suggest a test evaluation method that accords with domestic environment and active response of international standard regarding the test evaluation method of AEB. Also, by setting the goal with function for distance, it suggests theoretic model according to the result. And the study aims to verify the theoretic evaluation standard per proposed scenario using car which is installed with AEB device through field car driving test on test road. It will be useful to utilize the suggested scenario and theoretical model when conducting AEB test evaluation.

The goal of this research is to develop and validate test items to measure Information and Communication Ethics(ICE) based on scenario. For this, we need to preferentially identify the primary factors in understanding and diagnosing the consciousness level of adolescents on the ICE. To solve this problem, in this research, we identified and validated major indices that consist of the ICE. Finally, For attaining the objective of the research, we developed test items based on scenario with including ICE dilemmas and applied to high school students. Thus, the results of this research indicate that test items can be used as valid and reliable scale to measure ICE level of students.
