Apparel companies define their target customers to integrate consumers' needs into their product development processes. The sizing standards play a significant role in ready-to-wear garment business. Consumers' body build and sizes are different according to gender, age, and body type. The consumers' morphological feature of the one geographical area has changed with immigration, aging, and lifestyle change. In this study the way of defining body types in the standard garment sizing systems published in USA., UK, Germany, Japan, and Korea were compared. The results of this study show that most of the systems classified the body types by the index value. The chest-waist drop value was used for men's body type classification. Women's body types were defined by hip proportion. The hip-bust drop value was used for it. German and European garment sizing systems provide a wide range of men's body types. US men's garment sizes are developed for very conservative body type. US women's garment sizing system has had clearly defined women's body types. The Misses body types projected in the US garment sizing system had changed as women's waist girth got bigger compared to the past. In 2011 the US Misses sizes were divided into Curvy Misses size and Straight Misses size by the hip-waist drop value. The Curvy Misses sizes have smaller waist girth and larger hip girth than the Straight Misses sizes.

This study evaluates the effectiveness of a newly developed retrofitting scheme for masonry-infilled non-ductile RC frames experimentally and by numerical simulation. The technique focuses on modifying the load path and yield mechanism of the infilled frame to enhance the ductility. A vertical gap between the column and the infill panel was strategically introduced so that no shear force is directly transferred to the column. Steel brackets and small vertical steel members were then provided to transfer the interactive forces between the RC frame and the masonry panel. Wire meshes and high-strength mortar were provided in areas with high stress concentration and in the panel to further reduce damage. Cyclic load tests on a large-scale specimen of a single-bay, single-story, masonry-infilled RC frame were carried out. Based on those tests, the retrofitting scheme provided significant improvement, especially in terms of ductility enhancement. All retrofitted specimens clearly exhibited much better performances than those stipulated in building standards for masonry-infilled structures. A macro-scale computer model based on a diagonal-strut concept was also developed for predicting the global behavior of the retrofitted masonry-infilled frames. This proposed model was effectively used to evaluate the global responses of the test specimens with acceptable accuracy, especially in terms of strength, stiffness and damage condition.

최근 정보통신 국제표준을 세계 시장을 선점하기 위한 필수적인 전략으로 인식하여 선진 각국 및 기업 간의 국제표준화 경쟁이 심화되고 있다. 또한 정보통신 기술의 융 복합화가 통신과 방송의 융합은 물론이고 타 산업과 정보통신 기술 간의 융합으로 새로운 영역의 기술 분야가 대두되고 있으며, 이는 표준화의 중요성 및 영역의 확대를 가져오고 있다. 따라서 21세기 스마트 정보사회에서 우리나라가 세계 정보통신 시장에서 주도적인 위치를 확보하기 위해서는 정보통신시장을 주도할 미래핵심 기술에 대한 국제 표준화를 추진할 수 있는 정보통신 표준화 전략의 수립 및 체계적인 추진이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 정보통신 동향 및 표준화 환경을 분석하여 향후 바람직한 표준화 추진 전략을 모색하고자 한다.

미국의 GPS, 러시아의 GLONASS, 유럽의 Galileo, 중국의 Beidou 등과 같은 GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System)의 핵심요소인 정밀 시각은 전 세계에서 다양한 경제적 활동의 중요한 근간이 되어 있다. 통신시스템, 전력 그리드, 금융 네트워크 등은 기본적인 작동 원리의 근간뿐만 아니라 작업들 간의 동기와 운영적 효율을 위해 정밀 시각을 기반으로 동작한다. 본 논문에서는 GNSS 신호 관측을 통해 클럭의 오류(클럭 솔루션)를 계산하는 방법인 정밀 절대측위 기법을 구현한 벨기에의 아토미움을 국내에서 처음으로 소개하고 한국표준과학연구원 관측 데이터를 적용하여 클럭 솔루션을 추출한 결과를 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 UHF대역 중 900MHz 대역에서 동작하는 휴대용 RFID 리더를 설계하고 제작하여 그 제반 특성을 측정을 통하여 분석하였다. 측정 결과의 분석은 EPC Global에서 제안한 EPC Class 0 표준을 기준으로 수행되었다. 제안하는 RFID 리더는 약 11kbps의 속도로 태그와 데이터 통신을 수행하며, RF 최대 출력은 20dBm이다. 제안된 휴대용 RFID 리더는 초당 최대 68개의 태그를 인식할 수 있으며, 리더의 출력 전력이 20dBm인 경우 최대 인식 거리는 30cm 이다. 그리고 전체적인 크기는 $71mm{\times}55mm$로서 상용 제품과 비교했을 때 최대 90%, 최소 14% 감소된 것이다.

Nowadays every part no company continues to gain the upper hand of a competitive superiority. Strategic Alliances between companies have been rapidly increased to preoccupy a market. The purpose of this study is to find devices of strategic alliances for the competitive distribution environment of Korean fashion industries. This reseach has been done by the literature review of the related articles, books, and the case studies in domestic markets as well as foreign ones. Strategic alliances are business relationships established by tow or more companies which cooperate out of mutual need and share risk in achieving a common objective. Today the purpose of international strategic alliances is to be competitive in global markets by meeting of exceeding new standards for products and technology use. Various types of alliances are occurred and this situation will be more common and generalized since one parter's weakness is offset by the other's strength. Strategic alliances are characterized by being horizontal, collaborative, and mutually beneficial to all parties. When used in good faith, the strengths gained in a strategic alliance are great. Therefore retailer should find that to gain faithful partners is important and should effort positively to enrich alliances based on a mutual belief. Finally, to become a company for leading the global market, it is necessary that we operate strategic alliances mixed foreign investments and domestic technology with local distributions.

With automobiles sharply increasing in numbers worldwide, we are faced with critical social issues such as traffic accidents, traffic jams, environmental pollution, and economic inefficiency. In response, research on ITS is promoted mainly by regions with advanced automotive industry such as the U.S., Europe, and Japan. While Korea is working on moving forward in the global market through developing and turning to global standards systems related to ASV (Advanced Safety Vehicle), the country is not fully prepared for such projects. The purpose of ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) is to control a vehicle's longitudinal speed and distance and minimize driver workload. Such a system should be valuable in preventing accidents, as it reduces driver workload in the 21st-century world of telematics created by development of the automobile culture industry. In this light, the thesis presents a method to test and evaluate ACC system and a mathematical method to assess distance. For the proposed test and evaluation, theoretical values are tested with vehicle test and a database is acquired, by using vehicles equipped with an ACC system. Theoretical evaluation criteria for developing ACC system may be used and scenario-specific evaluation methods may find useful application through testing the formula proposed by comparing the database and mathematical method.

In evaluation of electronic reliability on the PCB(Printed Circuit Board),electrochemical migration is one of main test objects. The phenomenon of electrochemical migration occurs In the environment of the high humidity and the high temperature under bias through a continuous aqueous electrolyte. In this paper, the generating mechanism of electrochemical migration is investigated by using water drop acceleration test under various waters. The waters used in the water drop test are city water, distilled water and ionic water. It found that the generated velocity o of electrochemical migration depended on the temperature of water and the electrolyte quantity which included in the various waters.

The mass spectrometry (MS) provides the mass-to-charge ratios of atoms, molecules, stable/metastable complexes, and their fragments. I have taken a long journey with MS to address outstanding issues and problems by experiments and theory and gain insights into underlying principles in chemistry. By looking through the mass-to-charge ratio, I have studied thermochemical problems in silicon chemistry, the infrared multiphoton dissociation spectroscopy of organometallic intermediates, unimolecular dissociations of halotoluene radical cations, and the kinetics of association/dissociation of alkali halide triple ions with Lewis bases. Various MS platforms have been used to characterize non-covalent interactions between porphyrins and fullerenes and those between the group IIB ions and trioctylchalcogenides, and to examine the binding of the group IA, IIA and porphyrin ions to G-quadruplex DNA. Recently, I have focused on mass-balanced H/D isotope dipeptide tags for MS-based quantitative proteomics, a simple chemical modification method for MS-based lipase assay, and the kinetics and dynamics of energy-variable collision-induced dissociation of chemically modified peptides. Now, I see an important role of MS in global issues in the post-COVID era, as the society demands high standards for indoor air quality to contain the airborne-pathogen transmission as well as in-situ monitoring and tracking of carbon emissions to reduce global warming.

본 논문은 증강현실 게임 공간에 대하여 분석하고 기존 게임 공간을 참고하여 모바일 증강현실 게임의 공간에 대한 공간 분석 기준을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 기존 게임 공간 분석과 제이슨 제랄드의 개인적, 행동적, 전망적 가상 공간 층위 분류, 가상 공간과 현실 공간의 상호작용성, 그리고 라브로프가 제시한 가상 공간에서 현존감을 결정하는 요인인 몰두, 조작, 탐색을 바탕으로 분류 기준을 제시하고 그에 따른 사례를 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 증강현실 게임 공간 분석 기준을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있으며 증강현실 게임 공간에 대한 다층적 연구가 지속되어야 함을 제언한다.
