The IPTV Standardization work being done by the ITU-T in collaboration with other SDOs and telecommunication companies. Currently IPTV services are provided with no global standards and interoperability. ITU-T leads the process of IPTV standardization. We used the ITU-Ts working documents which were publically available to investigate the direction of IPTV standardization process. Many things including architecture, services, service requirements, codec and error correction mechanisms etc already defined through recommendations. But still there is effort going on to standardize the complete IPTV system.

최근 글로벌 표준화의 커다란 흐름을 한마디로 말한다면 표준화협력으로 대변될 수 있다. 왜냐하면 대부분의 표준화 대상들이 유무선 복합 시스템이며 하드웨어, 소프트웨어가 결합된 초고속 멀티기능, 멀티서비스형 표준화들이며 때로는 주파수 스펙트럼 할당 등 규제부문까지 연계 되어 있어 표준화내용 및 세부 대상들이 매우 다양하고 복잡한 실정이고, 이러한 대상들은 특정 표준화기구에서 전부 다루기는 매우 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 ITU 등 주요 국제표준화기구를 중심으로 해당 분야별로 표준화협력 및 연계활동이 활발히 전개되고 있고 그 중 가장 좋은 예는 IMT-2000 표준화를 꼽을 수 있다.

지난 8월 SG13회의 결과에 따라 FGNGN 종료후 FGNGN에서 작업한 문서들을 성공적으로 마무리하고 NGN 표준화를 효율적으로 수행하 기 위해 SG11, SG13, SG19 및 기타 관련 SG들의 관련 그룹간 합동으로 회의를 개최키로 하고 이를 NGN-GSI로 부르기로 하였다. 그 결과 에 따라 1차 NGN GSI 회의가 지난 1월 16일부터 27일까지 스위스 제네바에서 개최되었으며, 본 고는 NGN-GSI의 주요 회의결과를 국내 대 표단 활동 내용 위주로 간단히 요약 정리한 것이다.

There are three major international agreements governing mutual recognition of engineering qualifications and professional competence of the International PEs; namely, Washington Accords, APEC engineer agreement and EMF agreement. International Organizations of APEC Engineer Coordinating Committer and Engineers Mobility Forum established international registries with the goal of improving international mobility. APEC and EMF membership requires minimum qualifications for licensure with the minimum standards including engineering education, Professional experience, compliance with home jurisdiction requirements, having verified record of responsible charge, and demonstrating a commitment to continuing education.

This paper presents an XML based standard specification of remote control protocol for home appliances. In the framework level, the XML protocol provides a useful bridge between services and platforms. The proposed protocol has been implemented into a personal video recorder for remote recording service. The results imply the potential of global standards for remote control by its minimum overhead in network and processor. The proposed XML is designated RCXML in this paper.

Looming global environmental pollution problems around the world movement to minimize the environmental pollution is actively taking place. International Maritime Organization (IMO) a significant portion of the marine pollution by exhaust gases emitted from vessel considered, and accordingly developed around the ship and ship-related environmental regulations, emission standards are going to strengthen gradually, the development of environmentally friendly vessels and equipment is proceeding actively.

This research presents a methodology for processing design provisions by representing the provisions and also by checking the conformance of design entities with the provisions via STEP information technology, which is considered as a canonical component for implementing CALS. The provisions of standards are represented in the .form of EXPRESS schema including various entities, algorithms, global rules, and local rules, while the schema are managed on EXPRESS engine called EXPRESSO.

GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications)은 범유럽적으로 추진되고 있는 디지탈 이동통신시스템으로서 ETSI(European Telecommunication Standards Institute)에 의해 표준화가 추진되고 있다. GSM 시스템 규격에서는 도청 또는 불법 사용에 대비하여 암호기술을 이용한 가입자 I.D 인증 및 보호, 그리고 무선구간에서의 정보 보호를 위해 암호화 기능을 갖도록 권고하고 있다. 본고에서는 GSM 이동통신망에서의Security에 관련된 기능들과 암호 알고리즘 특성에 관하여 고찰하였다.

이 연구는 기업의 사회적 책임을 재조명하고 국제적인 CSR 핵심가치에 맞춰 국내 기업들의 CSR이 어떻게 발전해야 할 것인가에 대한 방향을 제시하는 개념적 연구를 수행하는데 주된 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 연구방법론적으로 한국의 CSR체계나 기준에 대하여 총체적으로 접근하고, 이를 글로벌 기준과 비교하여 발전방향을 도출하였다. 한국기업의 사회적 책임활동은 아직도 사회공헌에 초점을 두고 있는 반면에, 글로벌 기업들의 CSR활동은 다양한 비즈니스 영역에서의 활동뿐만 아니라 노동, 환경 등 기업 내 외부를 둘러싸고 있는 환경 전반에 걸쳐 사회적 책임을 다하고 있다. 특히 그들은 기업의 가치사슬 내에서 안정적인 CSR활동을 수행하고 있다. 게다가 기업 간의 거래관계에서도 사회적 책임이 검증된 기업과의 거래를 기본으로 수행하고 있어, 원청과 1차 하청기업, 다시 1차하청기업과 2차 하정기업간의 관계 모두에서 CSR활동이 요구되기 때문에 사회 전반에 걸쳐 CSR이 보편화되어 있다. 이는 CSR을 바탕으로 보다 나은 근로조건, 보다 나은 생활환경을 유인하기 때문에 기업의 CSR활동이 사회 전반의 발전에 기여하는 동력이 된다는 점을 확인할 수 있다. 따라서 이번 연구를 통해 제시되는 CSR 방향은 국내 기업의 글로벌 진출뿐만 아니라 우리 사회를 더 나은 사회로 변화시키는데 기여할 수 있다는 점에서 의미와 가치가 있다고 할 수 있다.

Purpose: It can easily be understood that more rules and regulations need to be imposed on the medical device industry due to its impact on public health and hygiene. Domestic medical device manufacturers are thus required to comply with the requirements specified in the good manufacturing practice (GMP) system, and it is essential to abide by the international standards as well to sustain their global competitiveness. The main purpose of this study is to review the guidelines of the medical device GMP system in Korea and propose future directions for further enhancement of the GMP system. Methods: Specific requirements prescribed in international standards, such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14971:2012, and ISO 14155:2011, are analyzed and compared with the domestic GMP system. Results: It has been observed that the generic international standard related to quality management system, ISO 9001:2015, lays out the foundations for the development of quality management system relevant to medical device industry, ISO 13485:2003, with which the domestic GMP system is fully compatible. Further, several important aspects of risk management and clinical trials of medical devices are also recognized and included in the domestic medical device GMP system. Conclusion: Even though specific requirements of individual ISO standards are slightly different from each other, their overall structure and framework may contribute to the development and enhancement of globally competitive GMP system of the domestic medical device industry.
