Zirconia-Glass frit 조성에서 MgO 및 착색료가 소결체의 색상 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effect of MgO and coloring agents on the coloring in zirconia-glass frit system)

  • 지르코니아($3Y-ZrO_2$)에 frit을 첨가하고 MgO를 조제로 첨가하거나 혹은 하소된 성형체에 액상의 착색료에 침지하는 방법을 통하여 착색하고 얻어진 소결체의 물성과 색상 변화를 고찰하였다. Frit가 20 wt% 첨가된 지르코니아-frit조성에 MgO가 첨가됨에 따른 색상의 변화는 소결온도가 높아짐에 따라 구별가능한 정도로 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 이 때 색상의 변화 정도는 MgO의 첨가량 변화에 의한 효과 보다는 소결 온도의 변화에 의한 효과가 더 크게 나타났음을 확인할 수 있었다. 액상의 착색료에 침지한 후 소결한 경우에서는 frit의 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 반사도가 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며 착색료에 침지하지 않은 경우에 비하여 색상의 변화가 감소함을 알 수 있었고 frit은 색상의 변화를 억제하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • For reliability evaluation of AC-PDP, one of the most important factor is sealing property. In this paper, the reliability evaluation test method of the commercialized sealing glass frit in AC-PDP was studied. 6 inch AC-PDP panels were tested for evaluation of sealing glass frit by vibration shock test, thermal shock test, non -destructive X-ray inspection, residual stress inspection and residual gas detection. These test methods are proposed as a standard for testing the reliability of sealing glass frit. The main failure mode of sealing glass frit in AC-PDP seems to be the crack propagation from thermal cycling rather than mechanical factor.

Glass 첨가량에 따른 ZnO 바리스터의 전기적 특성 (Electrical Properties of ZnO Varistors with Variation of Glass Addition)

  • ZnO varistor ceramics were fabricated with variation of addition of glass-frit amount and the sintering temperature was $1100^{\circ}C$. The average grain sizes were showed increased from $8.6{\mu}m\;to\;10{\mu}m$, and varistor voltages were decreased from 506V to 460V by added amount of glass-frit. Nonlinear coefficient $\alpha$, of all were with increasing the amount of glass-frit more than 70, in case of added on $0.03wt\%$ glass-frit was 83. And leakage current were less than $1{\mu}A$ with applied at $82\%$ of varistor voltage. The clamping voltage ratio of the specimens added $0.03wt\%$ glass-frit was 1.41 at applied 25A $[8/20\;{\mu}s]$. In the specimen added $0.03wt\%$ glass-frit, endurance of surge current and deviation of varistor voltage were $6200A/cm^2,\;\Delta-1.67\%$, respectively and clamping voltage ratio was 2.33. In the Specimen added $0.03wt\%$ glass-frit were superior to any other compositions on High Temperature Load Test(HTLT) for 1000 hr at $85^{\circ}C$, and deviation of the varistor voltage were $\Delta-1.29\%$.

  • We report the effect of the particle size (D50) and PSD (Particle Size Distribution) of glass frit on the transparency of transparent dielectric layer of PDP. The milling efficiency of wet milling with water was the best among the dry milling, wet milling with IPA and wet milling with water. The transparency increased with the reduction of particle size of glass frit as the milling time increased. Also the transparency changed by the PSD of glass frit. Glass frits of broad PSD showed high transparency compared with the glass frits of sharp PSD.

  • Dye sensitized solar cells(DSSCs) have been extensively studied due to their various advantages such as low production cost, colorful design, and eco-friendly process. Long optical path length is one of the most effective method to improve light harvest efficiency for DSSCs. Multi-layered $TiO_2$ nano-structured film with scattering layer has been studied to generate scattering effect by many researchers. It was expected that the difference of refractive index between $TiO_2$ particles and glass frit would generate the light scattering effect and provide the long optical path length. Therefore, to enhance the scattering effect, the frits of $Bi_2O_3-B_2O_3$-ZnO glass system that has the different refractive index were added to $TiO_2$ pastes in this study. First of all, the absorbance and haze factor of $TiO_2$ electrode with dyes and the refractive index of glass frit and $TiO_2$ were measured, respectively. To study the effect of frits, the efficiencies of DSSCs added glass frit and without glass frit were compared. Our results showed slightly higher efficiency with the different absorbance and haze factor of $TiO_2$ and glass frit. It was considered that the light scattering effect would be improved with adding frits to $TiO_2$ paste. Our preliminary studies will be useful for increasing efficiency of DSSCs.

필러 첨가에 의한 OLED의 레이저 실링용 P2O5-V2O5-ZnO 유리프릿의 제조 (Synthesis of P2O5-V2O5-ZnO Glass Frit for Laser Sealing of OLED by the Addition of Filler)

  • In this study, we developed a lead-free $P_2O_5-V_2O_5-ZnO$ glass frit for sealing OLED using laser irradiation. The frit satisfied the characteristics required for laser sealing such as low glass transition temperature, low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), high water-resistance, and high absorption at the wavelength of the laser beam. Ceramic fillers were added to the glass frit in order to further reduce and match its CTE with that of the commercial glass substrate. The addition of Zirconium Tungsten Phosphate (ZWP) to the frit yielded the most desirable results, reducing the CTE to $45.4{\times}10^{-7}/^{\circ}C$, which is very close to that of the glass substrate ($44.0{\times}10^{-7}/^{\circ}C$). Successful formation of a solid sealing layer was observed by optical and scanning electron microscopy.

  • $BaTiO_3$는 perovskite 구조를 가지는 대표적인 강유전체 재료로서 MLCC(Multi Layer Ceramic Capacitor), PTC thermistor등에 널리 사용되어지고 있다. 최근 고용량 MLCC 의 상업화와 함께 나노크기를 갖는 tetragonal phase의 $BaTiO_3$ 입자를 합성하기 위한 다양한 제조방법이 제시되고 있다. 또한 유전 특성과 온도특성 및 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위해 많은 첨가제들이 연구되어지고 있다. 따라서 이 번 연구에서는 선행 연구를 통해 얻어진 high energy mill을 이용한 고상반응법으로 제조된 $BaTiO_3$를 사용하였으며, 제조된 $BaTiO_3$ 분말에 glass frit를 첨가하여 소결온도 및 유전특성의 변화를 관찰하였다. 제조된 $BaTiO_3$ 분말은 200nm이하의 구형화와 균일한 입자크기를 보였으며, 선행연구를 통해 최적화된 glass frit의 양인 2.53wt%를 첨가하였고 1170, 1200, $1230^{\circ}C$에서 소결하여 소결온도에 따른 변화를 관찰하였다. 실험방법으로는 원료를 혼합하기 위하여 24시간 ball-mill을 이용하여 혼합하였으며, $\Phi15$로 성형하여 소결을 진행하였다. 실험진행 결과 모든 시편에서의 비유전율은 glass frit가 첨가되지 않은 조성보다 높게 나타났으며, $1200^{\circ}C$에서 소결한 시편의 비유전율($\varepsilon_r$)은 2300으로 glass frit가 첨가되지 않은 조성과 비교하여 21% 증가하여 최대치를 나타냈다. 또한 소결온도 $1200^{\circ}C$ 이상에서의 모든 시편에서는 95% 이상의 상대밀도를 나타내어, glass frit가 소결조제로써의 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 glass frit첨가로 인한 소결온도 감소 및 유전특성이 증가하는 것을 확인 하였다.

(Ba,Ca)SiO3 Glass Frit 첨가에 따른 NKN-BT 세라믹스의 유전 완화 특성 (Dielectric Relaxation Properties of KNN-BT Ceramics with (Ba,Ca)SiO3 Glass Frit)

  • We investigated dielectric relaxation properties of $0.95(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3-0.05BaTiO_3$ ceramics by addition (0~0.3 wt%) of $(Ba,Ca)SiO_3$ glass frit. All composition of $0.95(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3-0.05BaTiO_3$ added $(Ba,Ca)SiO_3$ glass frit showed the same crystallographic properties, coexistence of orthorhombic and tetragonal phase. By increasing addition of $(Ba,Ca)SiO_3$ glass frit, the Curie temperatures of $0.95(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3-0.05BaTiO_3$ ceramics were decreased, whereas maximum dielectric constants of $0.95(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3-0.05BaTiO_3$ ceramics were dramatically increased. Especially the deviations of Curie temperature $0.95(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3-0.05BaTiO_3$ ceramics were increased by increasing amount of $(Ba,Ca)SiO_3$ glass frit, and it indicated that $0.95(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3-0.05BaTiO_3$ ceramics added $(Ba,Ca)SiO_3$ glass frit have relaxor characteristics.

저온 소성용 유리-알루미나 복합체에서 유리 입자크기에 따른 소결거동 (Effects of Glass Particle Size on Sintering Behaviors of the Glass-Alumina Composites for Low Firing Temperature)

  • Sintering behaviors of the glass-alumina composites for low firing temperature were investigated as a function of the particle size of glass frit. The system of glass frit was Pb-B-Si-Al-O. The median particle sizes of the glass frits were 2.72$\mu\textrm{m}$, 2.67$\mu\textrm{m}$ and 1.33$\mu\textrm{m}$, which were prepared with changing ball-milling times as 24 h, 48 h and 96 h. The glass-alumina composites showed maximum density at certain temperature, and further heating led to dedensification behaviors, so called over-firing. The sintering temperature, which showed maximum density, raised from 425$^{\circ}C$ to 475$^{\circ}C$ with increase of particle size of glass frit from 1.33$\mu\textrm{m}$ to 2.72$\mu\textrm{m}$. Especially, the over firing behaviors, which were occurred at high sintering temperatures, were greatly increased with decrease of particle size of glass frit.

  • The crystalline and dielectric properties on $Al_2O_3$ filled glass frit ($CaO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2-MgO-B_2O_3$) with admixtures of $TiO_2$ have been investigated. The dielectric constant value of $7.5{\sim}7.8$, quality factor value of 700 were obtained for glass frit : $Al_2O_3$ (50 : 50 wt%) ceramics. As the amount of $TiO_2$ increased, temperature coefficient of dielectric constant were decreased.
