  • In the magnetically coupled wireless power transmit (WPT), the study of the multi-dimensional transmission coil to solve the low power transmission efficiency from the location of transmit coil and receiving coil is being developed. This paper, an important step in this study, presents the magnetically coupled model of the WPT system consist of the two-dimensional transmit coil and verifies by the simulation and experiment. The induced model in this paper can be used to design the WPT circuit and controller for the maximum transmission efficiency.

  • In this study. an efficacy study of Portulaca Extract (PE) and ${\beta}$ -glucan. candidates for cosmetic additives. was pedormed using artificial skin model (AS). The AS consists of collagen gel matrix populated by ATCC human skin fibroblast cell line that is overlaid with epidermal human skin keratinocyte cell line. Cytotoxicity and anti - inflammatory activity of PE and ${\beta}$ -glucan were assessed using monolayer and AS models by measuring cell viability and the secretion of interleukin -1 ${\alpha}$.

  • One of the most important part in next generation VoIP is security management. When we develop a protocol stack based on SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), it is necessary to develop test scenario, test environment, adaptation test technology for security test of the system. In this paper, we design and implement security test environment and test program for SIP. This system also can be used as a fundamental system when someone develop a communication system based on SIP.

  • Forecasting of water quality variation is not an easy process due to the complicated nature of various water quality factors and their interrelationships. The objective of this study is to test the applicability of neural network models to the forecasting of the water quality at Dalchun station in Han River. Input data is consist of monthly data of concentration of DO, BOD, COD, SS and river flow. And this study selected optimal neural network model through changing the number of hidden layer based on input layer(n) from n to 6n. After neural network theory is applied, the models go through training, calibration and verification. The result shows that the proposed model forecast water quality of high efficiency and developed web-based water quality forecasting system after extend model

  • The management of the exposed cardiac pacemaker or its lead is a new challenge to the plastic surgeon. This complication is not rare. Coburn et al. [1972] reported less than 5 percent, but Sowton et al. [1974] showed that over a period of 19 years, in a series of 372 patients, the pacing system had to be removed because of local wound breakdown or infection in 10 percent of the cases. The methods used to treat exposure may vary from removal and re-introduction at anterior site to the rotation of local flaps to cover the exposed pacemaker. Recently we have experienced 6 times of migration and recurrent skin ulcerations without pyogenic infection overlying the pacemaker in one patient. We developed a new technique, anchoring the pacemaker to the clavicle by a wire through the hole of clavicle and by creating a pocket under the pectoralis major muscle. Then we would like to emphasize this operating method could be choice of treatment to prevent the migration of pacemaker and the ulceration of skin when complication of implantation of pacemaker is occurred.

  • 하천의 수질이 악화되고 물수요량이 증대됨에 따라 쾌적하고 자연스러운 하천을 보전하고자 하는 하천유지관리의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 대상하천의 유지유량을 산정하기 위해 수위관측망 자료를 이용하여 갈수량을 산정하였으며, 대표어종을 선정하여 하천 생태계를 고려한 필요유량을 산정하였다. 하천수질을 고려한 필요유량을 산정하기 위해 각 소유역별로 점오염원과 비점오염원을 조사하였으며 설정된 하도구간별 목표수질을 만족할 수 있도록 소유역별 부하량을 산정하였다. 보청천유역에서 환경기준달성을 위한 장래수질보전유량은 종곡천 합류후 구간에서는 1.71 CMS , 항건천 합류후 구간에서는 2.28 CMS, 삼가천 합류후 본류구간에서는 4.03 CMS, 산계교 지점은 4.74 CMS로 분석되었다. 본 연구에서는 대상유역에 대한 유역특성에 따른 갈수량, 하천 생태계를 고려한 필요유량, 하천 수질을 고려한 필요유량을 산정하여 대상유역의 유지유량을 결정함으로서 적정 관리방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 하천에서의 수질예측은 하천 환경의 관리 및 운영 측면에서 매우 중요하다. 그러나 현재의 수질에 관련된 물관리 운영 체제는 물관련 기관을 대상으로 산재되어 있는 물 정보를 정리하여 D/B로 활용하는 수준에 머무르고 있어 실질적인 정보의 활용과 해석 및 실시간적인 예측기능을 수행할 수 있는 예측시스템의 개발이 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 수질예측을 위한 시스템의 개발을 위해 신경망 기법을 활용하여 한강유역의 지류인 달천지점의 수질을 예측할 수 있는 지능형 모형을 구축하고 그 적용성을 검증하였다. 개발된 수질예측 시스템은 수자원의 효과적인 활용 및 하천의 중 장기 수질보존 대책 수립에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
