중증환자 인터페이스를 위한 마커 인식 시스템 (Marker Recognition System for the User Interface of a Serious Case)

  • 본 논문에서는 거동이 불편한 환자를 위하여 주변 환경에 놓여 있는 기기들에 대한 제어와 간호사를 호출하는 간단한 의사소통 등을 위한 몇 가지 사각형 형태의 마커를 제시하고 이 마커들을 카메라 영상으로부터 검출하고 인식하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 사각형 형태의 마커 검출을 위하여 다중 임계값을 사용하여 입력 영상을 이진 영상으로 변환하고 객체들의 윤곽선을 추출한 다음에 윤곽선을 선분으로 근사화한다. 근사화 된 선분으로부터 기하학적 특징을 이용하여 사각형을 찾는다. 마커의 사각형 영역을 찾은 다음에는 워핑 기법을 이용하여 사각형 마커 영상을 정사각형 형태로 정규화한다. 마커 영상을 정규화한 다음에는 주성분 분석을 통하여 마커 영상으로부터 특징 벡터를 추출하고 마커의 종류를 인식한다. 본 논문의 시스템은 다중 임계값을 이용하여 조명에 견고하며 워핑 기법과 주성분 분석을 이용하여 촬영 각도에 견고하다. 총 21개의 마커를 설계하여 인식 실험한 결과 최대 100%의 인식률을 얻을 수 있었고 초당 12프레임의 수행속도로 조명과 각도 변화에 견고한 인식 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

현대패션에 나타난 컷 아웃 디자인에 관한 연구 (A Study of Cut-Out Designs in Contemporary Fashion)

  • This study intends to provide fundamental data to develop creative high-value designs, proving that the cut-out technique, a decorative element of fashion design, can be used to express various visual effects. The author performed a literature review of such publications as Gap Press, Fashion News, and Mode & Mode from 2001S/S to 2010S/S, referring to Internet data to empirically analyze the cut-out technique in contemporary fashion. The study found that the cut-out design is effective overall, but is best suited for one-piece designs and for partial rather than whole items of clothing. The basic motif of the cut-out is a geometrical pattern based on a line, a tear, or is shapeless. The cut-out design is mostly shown as an overall pattern or as a symmetrical shape. Analysis shows that the characteristics of the contemporary fashion utilizing the cut-out technique are as follow: First, the cut-out technique exposes the curves of a woman's body in a direct or indirect way, thereby emphasizing her sexuality and maximizing the value of female beauty. Second, through the cut-out technique, we can highlight the various types of space formed by the technique and repeated patterns; we may also elaborate on single-patterned laser-cut designs, which will show that the particular surface effect of the material can strongly impact the attractiveness of the design through emphasis and decoration. Third, damaging or destroying clothes on purpose, showing surprising concepts through optical illusions, and expressing humor by ignoring existing clothing styles show our willingness to escape from traditional or obvious design ideas, as well as demonstrating individuality and playfulness.

수중물체에 대한 음향 표적강도의 수치해석과 실험적 검증 (Numerical Modeling and Experimental Verification for Target Strength of Submerged Objects)

  • Target Strength(TS) is an important factor for the detection of the target in an active sonar system: thus the numerical model for the prediction of TS is widely being developed. For the frequency range of several kHz, the most important scattering mechanism is known to be specular reflection, which is largely affected by the geometrical shape of the target. In this paper, a numerical algorithm to predict TS is developed based on the Kirchhoff approximation which is computationally efficient. The developed algorithm is applied to the canonical targets of simple shapes, for which the analytical solutions exist. The numerical results show good agreement with the analytical solutions. Also, the algorithm is applied to more complex scatterers, and is compared with the experimental data obtained in the water tank experiment for the purpose of verifying the developed numerical model. Discussions on the effect of spatial sampling and other aspects of numerical m odeling are presented.

ZSphere를 활용한 캐릭터모델링 (Character modeling using ZSphere)

  • ZBrush의 ZSphere는 스크린에 추가가 가능하며, 무엇보다도 움직임이 자유로운 기하학적 오브젝트로서 ZSphere를 기존의 ZSphere에 추가할 수 있다는 점이다. 예를 들어 중간단계의 구형체에서 뽑아내어 다리 같은 것을 생성할 수 있다. 이러한 방식으로 팔다리가 여러 개인 캐릭터를 쉽게 만들어 낼 수 있는 것이다. 본 논문은 ZSphere를 사용하여 하나의 Sphere로부터 여러 개의 Child Sphere를 만들어내고, 이것이 parent sphere가 되어 이를 기준으로 Child Sphere를 연결해 나가는 형식으로 형태를 만들어 가며 3D 캐릭터 형태를 쉽고 빠르게 잡아가도록 모델링 하였다. 3D 오브젝트를 추가하고 회전시키고 움직일 수 있기에 캔퍼스의 Z-depth와 원활한 상호작용이 이루어질 수 있다. 이러한 오브젝트를 스크린에 놓거나 페인팅을 하고 고정된 퍼스펙티브 이미지를 구축하고 Pixols을 스머지하며 3D오브젝트를 변형시키기 위하여 다양한 변형툴과 조각툴을 사용하였다. 완성된 character를 poly로 변환한 다음 Topology를 이용해 빠르게 면을 재구성 하는 방법으로 캐릭터를 설계하였다.

Electroplating process for the chip component external electrode

  • In chip plating, several parameters must be taken into consideration. Current density, solution concentration, pH, solution temperature, components volume, chip and media ratio, barrel geometrical shape were most likely found to have an effect to the process yields. The 3 types of barrels utilized in chip plating industry are the onventional rotating barrel, vibrational barrel(vibarrel), and the centrifugal type. Conventional rotating barrel is a close type and is commonly used. The components inside the barrel are circulated by the barrel's rotation at a horizontal axis. Process yield has known to have higher thickness deviation. The vibrational barrel is an open type which offers a wide exposure to electrolyte resulting to a stable thickness deviation. It rotates in a vertical axis coupled with multi-vibration action to facilitate mixed up and easy transportation of components. The centrifugal barrel has its plated work centrifugally compacted against the cathode ring for superior electrical contact with simultaneous rotary motion. This experiment has determined the effect of barrel vibration intensity to the plating thickness distribution. The procedures carried out in the experiment involved the overall plating process., cleaning, rinse, Nickel plating, Tin-Lead plating. Plating time was adjusted to meet the required specification. All other parameters were maintained constant. Two trials were performed to confirm the consistency of the result. The thickness data of the experiment conducted showed thatbthe average mean value obtained from higher vibrational intensity is nearer to the standard mean. The distribution curve shown has a narrower specification limits and it has a reduced variation around the target value. Generally, intensity control in vi-barrel facilitates mixed up and easy transportation of components. However, it is desirable to maintain an optimum vibration intensity to prevent solution intrusion into the chips' internal electrode. A cathodic reaction can occur in the interface of the external and internal electrode. 2H20 + e $\rightarrow$M/TEX> 20H + H2.. Hydrogen can penetrate into the body and create pressure which can cause cracks. At high intensity, the chip's motion becomes stronger, its contact between each other is delayed and so plating action is being controlled. However, the strong impact created by its collision can damage the external electrode's structure there by resulting to bad plating condition.

  • 자연은 끊임없이 신비한 산물들을 대량생산해내는 만물의 공장이며, 그 산물들은 끊임없이 변화하고 있다. 또한 자연은 인간이 살아가는 환경을 둘러싼 미적 아이디어를 끊임없이 제공한다. 그러므로 인간은 자연을 대상으로 시각적 관찰을 통해 표현하고자 하는 자연스런 충동에 따른 조형을 추구하게 된다. 자연에 대해 인간이 얻을 수 있는 미적 체험은 그 대상에 대하여 시각적으로 연구할 때, 연상에 따른 형상들을 의식적으로 떠올릴 수 있게 해주는 미학적 변형의 원천인 것이다. 수없이 변화된 자연물과 마찬가지로 의식적으로 경험되는 인 공의 산업 생산물은 자연물과 구조적, 형태적 질을 공유하며 조형적 균형을 위한 의미를 갖게 된다. 자연을 관찰하여 질서나 원리를 통해 디자인에 적용시키고자한 시도는 바우하우스 이후 디자인의 한 방법으로서 부분적으로 실천되어 왔지만, 자연에 대한 연구과정이 서로 분산된 영역에서 진행되어왔다. 최근에 이르러서 이러한 연구는 관련 분야간에 복합되는 입장에서 매우 중요시되고 있다. 따라서 자연유기체의 다양한 범주들을 본 연구에서는 단지 부분적으로 제품디자인 측면에서 고찰하지만, 종합적으로 디자인학적 조형성과 자연유기체의 조형학적 접근은 기본적으로 중요한 것이라 생각하여 본 소고에서 고찰해 보고자 한다.

1980년대 이후 한국 단독주택 공간 형태 변화 연구 (A Study on the Change of Spacial Form of Korean Detached House after 1980s)

  • This study found out the change of spacial form of detached house in Korea on a 10-year basis from 1980s though analysis on the architecture of each period. For the subject houses of this study, the detached houses introduced repeatedly as excellent cases in technical journals for architecture were collected among those completed by architects who designed numerous houses and a survey was conducted on 18 detached houses of 18 architects among the in urban style houses in Seoul and suburban style houses in the suburbs of Seoul. Through this study, it could be found that, as the morphological application of traditional architecture was settled with spatial concept, the external spatial form of the detached houses in Korea after 1980s was changed to westernized form but the internal spacial form had been continuously changing suitable to our emotion by reflecting the living habit and taste with the traditional attitude to perceive and accept the nature. As for the change in the forms of interior space, vertical space with more than two floors became common. Front porch and stair hall, which were located at the center of a house and became an important spacial element that overlapped family's moving line, changed to open and bright space that used transparent glass and increased the space to contact the open air, reflecting our living habit and taste that preferred the feeling of internal openness. A Private space, main room, was more segmented and luxurious, and a public space, living room, secured the independency by getting close to symbolic yard. As for the change in the form of exterior space, the form of façade window has been changing in its location and size and brought free images due to the advancement of technology and material. The shape of roofs was borrowed from western style and a lot of geometrical forms that break away from the concept of angle rater and eaves are appearing.

방열판 직접압출공정의 성형성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Extrudability for Extrusion Process of Heat Sink)

  • At present, the design of extrusion dies and operation in extrusion companies are primarily based on trial and error. The experience of the die designer, the press operator and the die corrector determine the performance of the extrusion die and the efficiency of the process. In order to produce defect-free products of desirable quality in terms of strength, surface quality and geometrical dimensions, it is important to obtain more knowledge of the processes that occur during extrusion. Recently, to reduce the costs of designing and manufacturing of extrusion dies, and to ensure the quality of the extruded products, numerical simulation for extrusion processes such as FEM (finite element method) is applied increasingly and becomes a very important tool for the design and development of new products. However, most of the studies about FE simulation have been accomplished for simple geometry and low extrusion ratio in the filed of steady metal flow conditions. The extruded products of AI alloy in industrial practice involve complicated sectional geometry. This study was designed to reduce the time of die design and manufacturing in the extrusion process using FEM simulation. FEM simulations of extrusion process were performed in non-steady states conditions by changing weld plate included in extrusion die set. Product which was employed in this study is heat sink that has been used in the parts of heat exchanger of electric circuits. It is generally applied for aluminum or its alloys due to heat efficiency and easy production of complicated shapes, and manufactured by extrusion process. The simulated results showed that weld plate shape in extrusion dies influences meta] flow and dimensional accuracy of products.

Aesthetic Characteristic Study on Sportswear Uniform - Concentrating on Sportswear Uniform Applying Ensign Image -

  • International exchange gets active in nations with the increase of Internet use and heading toward digital age. Thus the communication conveying image of nations effectively plays an important role in an international society. Sports events are regarded as important international exchange events and good opportunities for public relations of one's own country and taken as tools of planting good images in other nations. This study surveyed the concept and history of uniform through the documents and previous studies in order to find the aesthetic characteristics of sportswear uniform applying the image of national ensign and investigates the origin and start time in Korea of selected 6 sports items. As a result of finding the expression way of ensign image and drawing the aesthetic characteristics by analyzing the use and variation of ensign colors, the use of colors other than ensign and reflection of ensign form in collected 60 sports uniforms, this study could draw the symbolical beauty, beauty of variation and beauty of brevity. First, symbolical beauty is the aesthetic characteristics expressing uniforms by using the pattern ensign symbolizes and ensign colors themselves or enlarging a part of ensign. Second, beauty of variation is the aesthetic characteristics creating geometrical new patterns in uniform through the distortion and exaggeration of ensign shape, or transforming the colors themselves of ensign. Third, beauty of brevity is the aesthetic characteristics using other colors only as decorative factor while applying the main colors of ensign to the most part of uniform, or unifying the uniforms with only one color of ensign. As a result of survey, the proportion of the symbolical beauty was highest in summer season and beauty of brevity and beauty of variation followed and the proportion of beauty of variation was highest and the symbolical beauty and beauty of brevity followed after that in winter season. This study found the way of expressing image of one's own country in sports uniform through this article, expecting the exact recognition on sports uniform and the diversity of sports uniform design in which the images of the nation are expressed more variously.

관측행렬의 손실 데이터 보정과 잡음 레벨 추정 방법 (Missing Data Correction and Noise Level Estimation of Observation Matrix)

  • 본 논문에서는 잡음이 내포된 관측행렬에서 손실 데이터를 보정하는 방법과 그 잠재적 잡음에 대한 불확실성 분석에 대해서 다룰 것이다. 관측행렬에 잡음과 손실 데이터가 없을 경우는 SVD 행렬인수분해 방법에 의해 정확한 복원 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 그렇지만 일반적으로 관측행렬의 일부 요소는 손실되거나 잡음 영향을 받게 된다. 이러한 경우는 3차원 복원 오차를 유발시킬 뿐만 아니라 그 해결책 또한 찾기가 쉽지 않은 문제가 있다. 따라서 3차원 복원 오차를 최소화하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 잡음 환경에서 손실 데이터를 신뢰성 있게 보정하고, 그 보정된 결과를 정량적으로 평가를 해줄 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 2차원 투영 객체와 3차원 복원 형상 사이의 기하학적 특성을 이용해 손실 데이터를 보정 하는 방법을 소개하고, 그 보정 성능을 정량적으로 평가할 수 있는 SVD rank이론을 이용한 관측행렬의 잡음 레벨 추정 방법에 대해서 제안할 것이다.
