  • Objective: To study the etiology of primary amenorrhea in 19-aged woman. Materials and Methods: Case report. Results: I found that there were not gonads and organ of mullerian ducts origin on diagnostic laparoscopy. She was normal 46XX on chromosomal study and normal external genitalia except short vaginal canal. Conclusion: It is very rare that absent gonads and lack of mullerian ducts with 46XX female and primary amenorrhea.

  • A thyridid species, Rhodoneura sugitanii(Matsumura), is newly recorded from the southern part of South Korea. Brief discussions of the diagnostic characters of Rhodoneura and the species newly recorded to Korea, R. sugitanii, are provided with illustrations of male and female genitalia of R. sugitanii.

  • A systematic review of the subjamily Osoriinae in Korea is presented. Six species are recognized, two of which are recorded for the first time in Korea [Eleusis coarctata Sharp and Mimogonus microps (Sharp)]. A key is provided for separation of the known species of the Osoriinae, and drawings of genitalia and photographs of habitus are presented.

  • The sterrhine species Scopula plumbearia (Leech) is reported for the first time in Korea, based on four male specimens from an island in Dadohaehaesang National Park, Jeonnam Province. Diagnosis of the species is provided with a brief description of the adult, including male genitalia.

  • In this paper, we report for the first time on a species of Eupithecia from Korea. Three females of Eupithecia praepupillata Wehrli, 1927, were collected from the northeastern part of South Korea. With this addition, a total of 53 species of Eupithecia from Korea have been recorded. Diagnosis and description of the species are provided with figures of the genitalia.

  • Dogs are laid on their left sides (Puppies may be placed on their back). 1. Lift the right forelimb, insert the knife in the axillary region, and cut its muscular attachment to thorax. Reflect the limb dorsally until it lays flat on the table. 2. Lift the right hindlimb, cut the inguinal area skin and the adductor muscles, and disarticulate the coxofemoral joint. Reflect the limb dorsally until it lays flat on the table. 3. A midline skin incision is made from the symphysis of the mandible to the anus, circumventing the umbilicus and male external genitalia.   • One species of Korean Drosophiliae, Microdrosophila (Microdrosophila) Chejuensis , n. sp. was described as new to science and the male genitalia was illustrated. All seven species in the genus Microdrosophila including the new species are known to be distributed in Korea at present.

  • As the 3rd series of the study on the family Lecithoceridae in Sri Lanka, 11 species of the genus Frisilia Walker, 1864, are recognized. Of these, 5 species, Frisilia thapsina, F, tricrosura, F. trizeugma, F. ancylosana, and F. neacantha are described as new to science, with illustrations fo their genitalia are given.

  • A new species of Anaxyrina Meyrick, A. albicostalis sp. novo (Lepidoptera, Lecithoceridae, Torodorinae) is described from Thailand and the Philippines. The genus has been known only by the type species, A. cyanopa Meyrick from N. India. Image of adult, forewing venation and illustrations of the male genitalia with aedeagus for the new species are provided.
