세종학당 비즈니스 한국어 교재 개발 연구 (Research of Developing Textbooks for Business Korean in King Sejong Institute)

  • This research presents principles and models for developing textbooks for business Korean to be used at the King Sejong Institutes overseas targeting Korean learners with vocational purposes. The principles of the business textbooks are based on research by Hyunjin Kim et al. (2018) which contains needs analysis and results from analyzing textbooks. The principles were also extracted from investigating previous researches relating to business Korean and characteristics of teaching and learning Korean with vocational purposes. The principles can be summarized to 1) connectivity with general purpose Korean textbooks of "Sejong Korean", 2) centrality with the users, and 3) improving communication skills for vocations. Additionally, textbooks based on these principles were tested in August and September of 2018 in China and Korea; usefulness of the textbooks were then examined by experts in Korean education. After the process, "Sejong Business Korean 1, 2" each with 18 chapters were written.

  • The amendment of regulation affecting the Governing Body of NFFC (National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives) has been known to the public in May 2008. Its essential points are as follow: 1) the President of NFFC shall be a non-standing officer. 2) the Full-Time Directors shall have the authority to deal with all subjects except for those especially reserved for the General Meeting or Board of Directors, while minimizing the authority of NFFC President. By providing this amendment, the government seeks to make the Governing body becomes professionalized and the management functions carried out by full-time professional board members. However, the amendment seems to pay no attention to the co-operative's identity and principles. In this context, five issues will be discussed: 1) Strengthening the separation between ownership and control of NFFC. 2) Weakening the authority of General Meeting. 3) The bounds of Audit Committee. 4) Consolidating the management control of the Full-Time Directors. 5) The loss of NFFC's Identity, followed by a summary and conclusion.

  • We know there are tremendous increasing of electronic commerce transaction but don't have efficient method to cover the risk of it. Even though the risk why we make a deal by electronic commerce. The reason, I think, is its conveniences of little cost and by no means of papers or tele-communications. When the valid contracts are achieved you may have some problems because of different legal systems of the world. If the contractual quarrels break it is very difficult to solve it. So it is important to choose the governing law to avoid troubles when you make the contract on internet electronic commerce. The purpose of this study is to review the general principles of contract of internet electronic commerce.

An Account of LAD with ESL/SLI Data

  • This paper explores the language acquisition mechanism within a recent theoretical nativist framework that assumes some computational principles. We will review previous accounts of the logical problem of language acquisition, arguing that language acquisition is part of general cognitive mechanism or at least associated with maturation of cognitive skills. For a theoretical framework, we will adopt the minimalist program and its principles. To support our theoretical argument, we will introduce empirical evidence from ESL (English as a Second Language) and SLI (Specific Language Impairment) data. The two types of data will illustrate that there might be some relationship between the development of language skills and that of the cognitive skills.

An interpretation of intelligence based on mathematical integration of elementary mechanisms in biology

  • Although it is more and more well accepted that modeling is a help for experimental biology, little is known about how to integrate physiological processes in general. The fact that no general theory exist in biology has big consequences, the most important being the difficulty to integrate biological phenomena. 1 will present a solution for the three dependent following issues: i) in an appropriate theoretical framework, integration consists in coupling models that each describe physiological mechanisms (formalization is a necessary condition to integration); ii) a biological theory with its own concepts leads to unifying principles in biology that are different from and complementary to physical principles; iii) such a formalized theory consists in a representation in terms of functional interactions and a specific formalism(S-Propagator). Hence a biological theory is of a topological and geometrical nature, in contrast to physical theories that are of a geometrical nature. An application to the interpretation of intelligence is proposed, based on the "intelligence"of movement.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 공학교육에서의 창의성 증진을 위한 학습환경 설계모형을 탐색하는 것이다. 특히 창의적 문제해결 과정을 지원할 수 있는 웹 기반 학습환경에 주목하여, 공학교육에서의 창의성 증진을 위한 정보통신기술 기반의 이러닝 요소를 포함하는 종합적인 학습환경 설계모형을 개발하였다. 이를 위하여 공학교육과 창의성 관련 논문을 분석하여 공학교육에서의 창의성 증진을 위한 일반적인 설계 원리 일곱 가지를 도출하였다. 다음으로 도출된 일반적인 설계 원리들을 구조화할 수 있는 세 가지 이론적 구성 요소를 확인하여 모형화하였다. 마지막으로 일반적인 설계 원리의 구현 과정을 안내할 수 있는 상세 설계 지침을 제시하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 향후 실제적으로 학습환경을 구현하게 될 때 활용될 수 있는 기초적인 연구로서 의의가 있다.
