  • Due to the belief that housing for university students is uniform materialistic and non-human, a variety of needs and preferences of the residents is becoming more important. In order to more positively identify the user's emotional needs, a design that meets the needs of the resident's living space is absolutely necessary. The purpose of this study is to group the sensibility types of university students, to analyze the preferred interior image and interior design elements, and then to understand the preferred characteristics according to sensibility type. To collect the data, a survey method was used for 224 university students in Seoul and the metropolitan area. The data analysis used SPSS PC 14.0 to find the frequency, t-test, chi-square, factor analysis, and cluster analysis. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, sensibility types were segmented into four groups including 'Unique & Elegant', 'Static & Tidy', 'Warm & Comfortable', and 'Characteristic & Free'. Second, the preferred interior image was the Minimal-Dandy-Natural Image, the preferred floor_material was wood, and the preferred wall_material was marble. Third, there were different interior preferences according to each type of gender & sensibility.

  • This work surveys the trend and dissolution characteristics in headdress that appear in Jean Paul Gaultier's collection. Along with a related literature review, a total of 903 headdress pieces shown in collections 40 times (excluding the common caps and hats) were analyzed, covering from 2001S/S to 2010 F/W of Jean Paul Gaultier's Haute Couture and Pret-a-Porter. The headdress trend indicated in his collections was divided into such subgroup forms of folklore, usage of natural things, usage of artificial things, religion, retro, scarf, variations in headgear, mask and veil, atypical type and abstract. Such an expression tendency was so unique and mixed characteristic that it was hard to define its form and structure thanks to enlargement and exaggeration, extremity in ornaments, and use of foreign materials, which led to creative dynamics. Gaultier's headdress also reflected the following characteristics: first, expression of difference indicative of time deconstruction; second, uncertainty of meanings via deconstruction; third, text interactivity via deconstruction of gender and material adopted; fourth, decentralization through dissolution of the Orient and the Occident.

Firstly, The level of mineral content in order was K, Na, P, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, B. The more Omija extracts, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, B was increased, but K, Na, P was decreased. Secondly, Viscosity of control was 538.13cP at rpm 100, and the sauce added with Omija extracts was $464.80{\sim}578.00cP$. Regardless of Omija quantity there was Psedoplastic characteristic which showed apparent viscosity was decreased even though shear rate was increased. Thirdly, Sensory characteristics of Demi-glace sauces based on preference of 5 tastes, It was founded that 2% added Omija was the best, and 1%, 0%, 3%, 5% added Omija was next in order. Finally, Sensory intensities of Demi-glace sauces based on gender and occupation of the 5 tastes : As the sourness, bitterness, hotness, salines taste of all over was Omija added quantity was many more, appeared strong intensity, it was sensory intensities of 5% Omija added sauce was the highest. But sensory intensities of sweetness, Male showed 2% Omija added sauce, Female student and cook showed control was the highest.

As this study was the research study by a use of a questionnaire, the finally total 987 copies of the collected questionnaires were used to analyze the data. SPSS was used for the statistical analysis of data. To analyze the data, frequency analysis, percentage, $X^2$-test, reliability analysis, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple comparisons were used. The results obtained are as follows. In factor analysis for clothing materials and the demand performance which atopic patients favor, the preference factors for underwear materials were classified as pliability/a sense of weight, a sense of cold and warmth, tactility, and elasticity. Those for everyday wear were classified as pliability/surface roughness, a sense of cold and warmth, a sense of weight, and elasticity. And the demand performance factors for underwears were classified as thermophysiology, care convenience, and skin contact. Those for everyday wear were classified as comfortableness and care convenience. In the difference analysis for the preference and the demand performance, Both everyday wear and underwear showed a significant difference for the preference and the demand performance according to gender, age, income, education level, and occupation.

  • True vertical root fracture (VRF) in nonendodontically treated teeth confined to the root surface (fatigue root fracture; FRF) is apparently uncommon, the few documented reports being Chinese. The aim of this study is to analyze the cases of a fatigue root fracture and to find out the characteristic features of teeth with a FRF. A total of 21 consecutive cases of fatigue root fracture occurring in 16 patients were reviewed. In terms of the occlusion, the presence of restorations, the location, the age and gender, each tooth and patient were analyzed. The prevalent age was in those over 50 years of age (75%) and FRFs were more frequent in male patients (69%). Fatigue root fractures occurred most frequently in the mandibular molars (61.9%; 42.9% in first molar, 19% in second molar). Fatigue root fractures were observed most frequently in the teeth with no restorations (85.7%) and in the patients with occlusal problems (94%). FRFs seem to occur frequently and may represent an undiagnosed clinical entity deserving of our attention.

  • This study investigated the perceptual and cepstral/spectral characteristics of phonation and their relationships in dysarthria in connected speech. Twenty-two participants were divided into two groups; the eleven dysarthric speakers were paired with matching age and gender healthy control participants. A perceptual evaluation was performed by three speech pathologists using the GRBAS scale to measure the cepstrual/spectral characteristics of phonation between the two groups' connected speech. Correlations showed dysarthric speakers scored significantly worse (with a higher rating) with severities in G (overall dysphonia grade), B (breathiness), and S (strain), while the smoothed prominence of the cepstral peak (CPPs) was significantly lower. The CPPs were significantly correlated with the perceptual ratings, including G, B, and S. The utility of CPPs is supported by its high relationship with perceptually rated dysphonia severity in dysarthric speakers. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis showed that the threshold of 5.08 dB for the CPPs achieved a good classification for dysarthria, with 63.6% sensitivity and the perfect specificity (100%). Those results indicate the CPPs reliably distinguished between healthy controls and dysarthric speakers. However, the CPP frequency (CPP F0) and low-high spectral ratio (L/H ratio) were not significantly different between the two groups.
