이마고 부부치료 모델 내용의 타당성과 적용 효과성 연구 (Validity of Imago Couple Therapy's Contents and Effects of Application of the Imago Couple Therapy)

  • This study focused on the validity of Imago couple therapy's contents and the effects of application of the Imago couple therapy model. The participated subjects were 38 graduate students and their spouses. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, the types of couple relations that formed and sustained marital relations after growth could be predicted by the early childhood relationships between the subjects when they were children and their parents. Second, the marital conflicts and frustrations could be healed by the 'parent-child dialogue' and 'guided imagery'. Third, Imago couple therapy was effective for couple counseling to improve the areas of marital relationships, especially marital intimacy, marital communication, communication skills for marital conflicts, mutual respect, gender role, sexual satisfaction, time together, and decision-making. Fourth, Couple's Dialogue was a powerful tool for couple and parent-child relationships as well as general counseling practices.

기혼여성의 비정규 노동과 일/가족 갈등 -학습지 교사를 중심으로 (Married Women's contingent Work and Work/Family Conflicts - Concentrating on Study Paper Instructors)

  • The goal of this study is to analyze the complicated and diverse nature of the relationship between work and family life for the study paper instructors of whom are married women. The survey data for these analyses were from an in depth interview which was conducted with the 21 contingent female workers as study samples. They are the married women, who started to work or returned to work after an absence to raise a family. The results showed that in reality the contingent female worker faced worse working conditions than the full time female labour force, even if women were determined to be a study paper instructor to meet work and family demand. It was the contingent women worker with a short time work experience who were in the worst position tlo adjust their working arrangements to suit their family needs and were confronted with the greater inter-role friction as a vulnerable group. The study revealed that instrumental and emotional support of husband has a positive effect on maintaining job role and lessening role conflicts and stress of the women. The work/family relationship indicated its double side, conflict and support. The women simply could not afford to depend on the psychological support form family in the midst of the inferior employment conditions and the absence of social support. This strategy, however, was based on the family ideology and the patriarchal gender division of labor. It caused the overload, stress and poor health of women involving some risk to give up the work.

한국과 연변조선족 어머니의 부모역할 만족도 및 양육태도 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study of Korean and YanBian Korean-Chinese Mother's Parental Role Satisfaction and Child-Rearing Practices)

  • This study was designed to explore fundamental bases of parental role satisfaction and child-rearing practices by comparing Korean and Yanbian Korean-Chinese mothers who share the same cultural roots but live in societies with different ideology and values. Total of 314 mothers with children aged from three to six years participated in this study:- 160 Korean mothers from two cities in Korea and 154 Korean-Chinese mothers from two cities at YanBian in China. Parental Satisfaction Questionnaires by Hyun (1994) and Child Rearing Practice Measures developed by the researchers were used to measure mothers parental role satisfaction and child rearing practices. The results showed that Korean-Chinese mothers seemed to be more satisfied with their roles as parents than Korean mothers. Additional analyses with socio-economic variables reported that both Korean and Korean-Chinese mothers satisfaction about spousal support were higher and their role conflicts were reduced when the household income was higher. Interestingly, most Korean-Chinese mothers reported to be highly satisfied with spousal support whereas only highly educated Korean mothers seemed to be satisfied with spousal support. In addition, for child-related variables, Korean and Korean-Chinese mothers' parental satisfaction were not affected by their childrens gender or age but when they thought their childrens temperament was difficult, their role-conflict tended to increase.

신규간호사의 조직사회화 영향 요인 (Factors Associated with Organizational Socialization in New Nurses)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between calling, clinical performance, role conflict, and organizational socialization and to evaluate the factors associated with organizational socialization of new nurses. Methods: This study design was cross-sectional correlational study. The participants of this study were new nurses 171 at general hospitals in Jeollabuk-do. Data was collected between August 1 to 20, 2018 from questionnaire responses and were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The average calling rating was 2.47±0.59 (rated on a scale of 1~4), clinical performance rating was 3.55±0.52 (rated on a scale of 1~5), role conflict rating was 3.29±0.59 (rated on a scale of 1~5), and organizational socialization rating 3.19±0.41 (rated on a scale of 1~5). Calling, clinical performance, role conflict, gender, and work in the desired unit were the significant factors influencing organizational socialization of new nurses. Conclusion: These findings indicate that strategies are needed to improve organizational socialization of new nurses to ensure effective management of personnel. Moreover, it is necessary to develop a program to cultivate the nursing calling, enhance clinical performance, and resolve role conflicts among new nurses.

기혼 남성들의 가사노동 참여 유형에 관한 사례 연구-맞벌이 부부를 중심으로- (A Case Study of Husbands' Housework Type-focused on dual-earner couples-)

  • The Korean family is changing. The growth in dual-earner households has been the 'revolution' of the century, implying inevitable modification of the role division in marriage toward greater symmetry of responsibility for breadwinning and homemaking. So, the purpose of this study is to understand husbands' housework and to investigate the change of the husbands' housework. This means to investigate how the husband is related to housework. For these research purpose, 60 dual-earner couples were deeply interviewed. The major discussions of this study can be summarized as follows: There are four types of housework in men's work, the type of refusal, the type of avoidance, the type of inevitability, and the type of participation. These types are taken order to understand change in housework is women's work. Men in the type of avoidance in household work is 25%, they have a tendency to avoid housework with making any excuses. People in the type of inevitability is 20%. These men are compelled to work in household owing to circumstances beyond control. 13% of couples is type of participation. These have a new idea of housework. They don't get the gender role division. They can become a good husband. and eventually solve conflicts and problems in couples.

記憶とパワーのジェンダーポリティックス: 東アジアの国際関係において日本の平和憲法と慰安部問題の意味づけ (Gendered Politics of Memory and Power: Making Sense of Japan's Peace Constitution and the Comfort Women in East Asian International Relations)

  • This paper examines how Japanese society produced and reproduced a distinctively gendered history and memories of the experience of WWII and colonialism in the postwar era. We argue that these gendered narratives, which were embedded in postwar debates about the Peace Constitution and comfort women, have engendered contradictions and made the historical conflicts with neighboring countries challenging to resolve. On the one hand, this deepens conflict, but on the other, it also generates stability in East Asia. After Japan's defeat in WWII, the American Occupation government created the Peace Constitution, which permanently "renounces war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes." The removal of the state's monopoly on violence - the symbol of masculinity - resulted in Japan's feminization. This feminization led to collective forgetting of prewar imperialism and militarism in postwar Japan. While collectively forgetting the wartime history of comfort women within these feminized narratives, the conservative movement to revise the Peace Constitution attempted to recover Japan's masculinity for a new, autonomous role in international politics, as uncertainty in East Asia increased. Ironically, however, this effort strengthened Japan's femininity because it involved forgetting Japan's masculine role in the past. This forgetting has undermined efforts to achieve masculine independence, thus reinforcing dependence on the United States. Recurrent debates about the Peace Constitution and comfort women have influenced how Japanese political elites and intellectual society have constructed distinctive social institutions, imagined foreign relations, and framed contemporary problems, as indicated in their gendered restructuring of history.

여성 퇴직자의 생애사를 통해서 본 취업 지속 배경에 관한 질적 연구: 교직.공무원직 퇴직자를 중심으로 (Career Sustaining Strategies of Female Retirees in South Korea: A Qualitative Study of Retirees from the Teaching and Public Service Professions)

  • This article attempts to explore how the women retirees under study were able to continue work until retirement. This study used life histories, especially focusing on daily working lives, and uncovered a number of key issues through in-depth interviews. The main results are as follows: Firstly, the women retirees examined here had been raised as highly educated people, and their strong educational background was a base component for them to have relatively secure careers. Their parents had also supported practically the women retirees during their working lives. In addition, the women retirees had to can out the roles of 'provider' for their original families, procreation families or in-law families, even though they were not given the recognized roles of provider. Secondly, the women retirees had a private infra system to support them with housework and child care. In addition, because they were financially able to employ housemaids, the women retirees did not experience conflicts with their husbands, who took on a neo-traditional sex role. Finally, thanks to relatively good working conditions such as having vacations and being able to come to and leave the office on time, the women retirees were able to continue work until retirement no mean feat in a society which openly practiced gender discrimination.

개념 학습에서 변칙 사례의 역할 (The Role of Anomalous Data in Concept Learning)

  • 이 연구에서는 끓는점 학습에서 인지 갈등, 상태 흥미, 개념 변화 사이의 관계를 조사했다. 또한, 이들 관계에서 성에 따른 차이도 조사했다. 중학교 1학년 학생 370명이 본 연구에 참여했다. 먼저, 학습된 오개념을 지닌 학생을 선별하기 위해 선개념 검사를 실시했다. 변칙 사례를 제시한 후, 변칙 사례에 대한 반응 검사와 상태 흥미 검사를 실시했다. CAI 프로그램으로 수업 처치를 한 후, 직후 개념 검사를 실시했다. 4주 후에 동일한 검사지로 개념 파지 검사를 실시했다. 인지 갈등과 상태 흥미 검사 점수는 모두 직후 개념 검사 및 개념 파지 검사 점수와 유의미한 상관이 있었다. 중다 회귀 분석 결과, 상태 흥미가 인지 갈등 보다 개념 변화 및 개념 파지 정도를 예측하는데 있어 더 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 남학생의 경우에는 상태 흥미만이 개념 변화 및 개념 파지에 대해 유의미한 예측 변인으로 나타났으나, 여학생의 경우에는 인지 갈등만이 유의미한 예측 변인으로 나타났다.

간호행위를 거부당한 남자간호사의 경험 (Male Nurses' Experiences of Being Rejected in Nursing Practice)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine and share experiences of male nurses who have been rejected during their nursing practice by their patients. Methods: The participants were 12 male nurses who have worked in several hospitals. Data were collected through personalized in-depth interviews. Collected data were analyzed with the content analysis method. Results: The results can be categorized into three main themes. 1. Rejection based on gender stereotypes of nurses' roles. 2. Nurses' reactions when nursing was rejected 3. Reestablishing the role as a nurse. The results of this study showed that male nurses were struggling to maintain their own positions as professional nurses. They were refused by their patients and they experienced a lack of skill and knowledge in nursing practice. They were harmed physically and psychologically from being turned down, and sometimes they had serious conflicts with female nurses. Meanwhile, the male nurses tried to be faithful to their role as professional nurses. Conclusion: The results of this study show the following findings. 1. The male nurses' experiences where mostly ones of understanding and cooperation with patients' caregivers. 2. The need for public relations advertising and systematic support from the media. 3. The need for improving gender equality for nurses. 4. Strengthening male nursing students' endeavors for sound nursing professionalism.

직장 기혼 여성의 일-가정 갈등이 우울에 미치는 영향 (The effect of work-family conflict on depression in married working women.)

  • 이 연구는 우리나라 직장 기혼 여성의 일-가정 갈등 요소가 정신건강의 대표적 지표인 우울에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 갈등 요인들을 개인단위, 조직단위에서 파악하여 어떤 요소들을 중심으로 접근해야 할지 고찰하였다. 여성가족패널조사 5차 년도 자료 중 현재 남편과 동거 중인 기혼 유배우 여성이며 임금근로자인 1,299명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 모형검증을 실시하였고, 일-가정 갈등 특성이 포함된 4번째 위계 모형에서 설명력은 12.5%(p<0.001)로 일반적 특성들을 통제한 상태에서 직장 기혼 여성의 일-가정 갈등은 우울에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 가정에서 일에 대한 갈등(${\beta}=.150$, p<0.01)이 우울에 가장 높은 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 직장 기혼 여성은 성역할 고정관념에서 자유롭지 못하여 가정 내 역할 갈등이 심화되면 이러한 문제가 직장 내 업무수행의 어려움으로 이어지게 된다. 이는 직장 여성의 정신건강에 부정적인 영향을 미칠 뿐 아니라 장기적으로 가정의 건강과 국가 생산력의 손실을 불러일으키는 원인이 되므로 이들의 일-가정 갈등을 덜어줄만한 적절한 사회 정책적 대처가 필요하다.
