유기농업의 온실가스 감축효과 (Effects of Organic Farming on Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze effects of greenhouse gas reduction in organic agriculture. To accomplish the objective of the study, a field survey was conducted. Based on the field survey results, LCA method was used to estimate the greenhouse gas emission. The farmer survey and LCA estimation data were provided by The Foundation of Agricultural Technology Commercialization and Transfer. The GHG estimation results showed that GHG emission of organic farming is less by 10.6~89.3% when compared with the conventional farming. In addition, the economic value of greenhouse gas reduction in organic farming amounts to 1,097 million won. Based on major findings, in response to national greenhouse gas reduction target, it is needed to expand organic farming, supporting organic farmers' income.

  • In order to efficiently control boil-off rate of a liquefied hydrogen tank, the important thing is to maintain an appropriate vacuum level. however, compared to small and medium-sized storage tank, it is very difficult to create and maintain vacuum in large-capacity storage tanks. In this study, we aim to determine the target level of future large-capacity storage tank technology development and secure basic data on performance test methods by analyzing the corelation between evaporation gas and thermal conductivity of liquefied hydrogen storage tanks.

레버형 CO 마이크로 가스센서의 열적성능에 관한 연구 (A Study of Thermal Performance for Lever Type CO Micro Gas Sensor)

  • 대기중의 일산화탄소 가스 농도를 측정하기 위한 마이크로 가스센서를 MEMS 공정을 이용하여 제작하였다. $SnO_2$ 가스 감응물질을 작동온도까지 가열하기 위하여 마이크로 히터를 설치하였다. 마이크로 히터에서 발생한 열이 효율적으로 감응물질에만 전달되고 실리콘 베이스로 누설되는 것을 최소화하기 위하여 마이크로 히터와 전극을 레버형으로 만들어 다리처럼 공중에 뜨게 하였으며, 이 위에 감응물질을 올려놓았다. 마이크로 가스센서의 열전달 현상을 상용 열유동 해석 전용 프로그램인 FLUENT를 이용하여 해석하였다. 해석 결과 실리콘웨이퍼 베이스의 온도가 거의 상온에 가까워 마이크로 히터에서 발생한 열이 가스 감응물질을 효과적으로 가열하여서 가스 감응물질의 열적 고립상태를 유지하고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 감응물질을 작동온도까지 가열하기 위하여 마이크로 히터에 가하여야 하는 전류의 양을 예측할 수 있었다.

Hydrogen sulfide gas sensing mechanism study of ZnO nanostructure and improvement of sensing property by surface modification

  • This study reports the hydrogen sulfide gas sensing properties of ZnO nanorods bundle and the investigation of gas sensing mechanism. Also the improvement of sensing properties was also studied through the application of ZnO heterstructured nanorods. The 1-Dimensional ZnO nano-structure was synthesized by hydrothermal method and ZnO nano-heterostructures were prepared by sonochemical reaction. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectra confirmed a well-crystalline ZnO of hexagonal structure. The gas response of ZnO nanorods bundle sensor increased with increasing temperature, which is thought to be due to chemical reaction of nanorods with gas molecules. Through analysis of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), the sensing mechanism of ZnO nanorods bundle sensor was explained by well-known surface reaction between ZnO surface atoms and hydrogen sulfide. However at high sensing temperature, chemical conversion of ZnO nanorods becomes a dominant sensing mechanism in current system. In order to improve the gas sensing properties, simple type of gas sensor was fabricated with ZnO nano-heterostructures, which were prepared by deposition of CuO, Au on the ZnO nanorods bundle. These heteronanostructures show higher gas response and higher current level than ZnO nanorods bundle. The gas sensing mechanism of the heteronanostructure can be explained by the chemical conversion of sensing material through the reaction with target gas.

플렉서블 디스플레이용 저온공정을 갖는 대향 타겟식 스퍼터링 장치를 이용한 $ZrO_2$ 보호막의 특성 (Properties of $(SiO_2)_x(ZnO)_y$ gas barrier films using facing target sputtering system with low temperature deposition process for flexible displays)

  • 본 실험에서는 대향 타겟식 스퍼터링 (face target sputtering, FTS) 장비를 사용하여 플렉서블 디스플레이용 poly ethylene naphthalate (PEN) 플라스틱 기판 위에 보호층으로 사용된 $ZrO_2$ 박막의 특성들에 대해 연구하였다. FTS에 의해 3 시간동안 증착된 $ZrO_2$ 박막의 기판 온도는 $69^{\circ}C$ 로 낮은 증착 온도를 나타내었으며, 이는 유리전이온도가 낮은 PEN 과 같은 플라스틱 기판위에 박막 증착시 적용하기에 적합하다. 제작된 $ZrO_2$ 박막에서 기판 중심으로부터 거리의 함수로 측정된 박막의 두께 차이는 약 4.5%로 매우 균일한 두께를 갖는 것으로 측정되었다.

  • We try to distribute air pollution sources at target area. The complex method is used to distribute air pollution sources. Most of people, However, want to simple indicator as standard for express air pollution source. In many area, air pollution is caused by different types of sources. The general type is point source, such as tall stack of power plants and oil refineries stacks. A second type is areal source, such as local industry and transportation. In this aspect, the ratio of sulfur dioxide to nitrogen oxides (RSN =SO$_2$/NOx)is an indicator of air pollution source. the role of this ratio is to show the characteristics at target area of the relationship the point and the areal source.   • This study shows the change of the structural characteristic of AIN thin film deposition with the change of the deposition conditions such as Ar/$N_2$ gas ratio, operating pressure in chamber, and the distance between substrate and target in RF Magnetron Sputtering. The orientation and surface roughness of AIN thin film are studied by using XRD and AFM and the thickness is measured by using STYLUS PROFILER. While we can not identify the orientation of the thin film deposited in Ar only, we can obtain the (100) orientation of the thin film with the addition of $N_2$ to Ar. Especially the thin film deposited at 10% of Ar/$N_2$ gas ratio appears to be the most (100) oriented. The (100) orientation of thin film becomes weaker as the operating pressure becomes higher. The further distance between substrate and target is stronger the (100) orientation of the thin film is. The (100) orientation becomes weaker and (002) orientation starts to appear as the distance is shorter.

  • In our country, which imports 97% of the energy consumed, an energy saving policy is required. The price inflation of utility bills is caused by a steep rise in the prices of imported oil. This study aims to solve the difficulties that cause poor environmental conditions for workers in the energy services sector, and especially, to systematize energy consumption reports to manage energy goals by suggesting an example of written energy-saving reports. To this end, this research focuses on energy consumption of target facilities including office spaces in a main building and multi-use facilities of an office building. A system where all employees can participate is structured through the analysis of energy usage in the target buildings.

FTS장치를 이용한 다양한 공정 조건에서 제작한 ITO 박막의 특성 분석 (Characteristics of ITO thin Films Grown under Various Process Condition by Using Facing Target Sputtering (FTS) System)

  • ITO thin films were grown on the glass substrate under various oxygen gas flow and substrate temperature by using FTS (Facing Target Sputtering) system. To investigate properties of as-prepared films for transparent electrical devices, we employed four-point probe, UV-VIS spectrometer, X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Hall Effect measurement system and Atomic Force Microscope (AFM). As a results, all of prepared samples has high transmittance of over 80 % in the visible range (300-800 nm). Their resistivity increased as a function of oxygen gas flow and substrate temperature due to their crystal structure and oxygen defect in the films. As-prepared films have a resistivity of under $10^{-4}({\Omega}-cm)$.

The characteristics of Al-doped ZnO films deposited with RF magnetron sputtering system in various H2/(Ar+H2) gas ratios

  • The properties of Al-doped ZnO (AZO) films were investigated as a function of H2/(Ar + H2) gas ratio using an AZO (2 wt% Al2O3) ceramic target in a radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering system. The deposition process was done at 200 ℃ and in 2 × 10-2Torr working pressure and with various ratios of H2/(Ar + H2) gas. During the AZO film deposition process, partial H2 gas affected the AZO film characteristics. The electron resistivity (~ 9.21 × 10-4 Ωcm) was lowest and mobility (~17.8 ㎠/Vs) was highest in AZO films when the H2/(Ar + H2) gas ratio was 2.5%. When the H2/(Ar + H2) gas ratio was increased above 2.5%, the electron resistivity increased and mobility decreased with increasing H2/(Ar + H2) gas ratio in AZO films. The carrier concentration increased with increasing H2/(Ar + H2) gas ratio from 0% to 7.5%. This phenomenon was explained by reaction of hydrogen and oxygen and additional formation of oxygen vacancy. The average optical transmission in the visible light wavelength region over 90% and an orientation of the deposition was [002] orientation for AZO films grown with all H2/(Ar + H2) gas ratios.
