This study shows the result of the survey conducted for male adults who had to use wheelchairs. The objectives of this study are to develop and improve the clothes for the disabled people and to make those garments put into practice. For this purpose, the survey was conducted at first so as to understand the situation of the disabled peoples wearing clothes and the garment demands. This survey is to suggest the suited form of the pants they want. The result of the study is as follows. 1) The average age of the subjects was 38.4 years old. They have used wheelchairs for 12 years on the average. Most subjects two limbs were paralyzed because of the acquired spinal paralysis. 60 percent of them were wearing the urine bags all the time. The average size of the pants they purchased was 39 inches, which means that their waist and abdominal circumstance were very big. 2) Regarding the situation of wearing habits, although the subjects usually purchased ready-to-wear, most of them are very dissatisfied with them. Especially, they considered the size as their main dissatisfaction. The main concern for buying garments was how comfortable and mobile they are while wearing them. They also needed outdoor garments. Lastly, they looked forward to the shop specialized in the garments for disabled people. 3) The functional pants for adult men using wheelchairs had the same zipper as that of general pants. The waist belt was made of rubber to reduce the pressure on waist and to cover 2 inches (5 cm) of waist circumference. Also it should be made to secure each button within the belt in accordance with size. Finally, it was designed as formal wrinkled pants that had pockets within the reach of hands when the disabled used wheelchairs.

Purpose: Benign symmetrical lipomatosis(Madelung's disease) is a disease of uncertain etiology that manifests as massive lipomatous deposits in specific area of the body. It is usually located on the neck, shoulder, proximal regions of the extremities and the abdomen. Madelung's disease is found many in middle-aged, Mediterranean man. Imaging using either computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging is often recommended. Dietary restriction provides no relief of disease. Abstinence with alcohol may delay further progression but does not regression tumor mass. The objective of this study is to prove effectiveness of liposuction for treatment of benign lipomatosis. Methods: We conducted liposuction as a treatment for benign lipomatosis. After general anesthesia, We conducted power assisted liposuction and amount of suctioned volume was about 2500 cc. After surgery, we did compressive dressing and then followed by pressure garment. Results: Six months after surgery, patient was examined for follow up at outpatient department. Recurred lipoma was not observated. Patient was satisfied with result.Conclusion: The only effective therapy for Madelung's disease is surgical removal but recurrence could be occurring. Also multiple surgical scars will be visible. We report a patient with multiple large lipomatosis successfully treated with liposuction.

In this study, fitness tests for slacks were divided into shape fitness test and motion fitness test, and the fitness test conditions for slacks were designed as the first step for standardization of measuring scales. Shape fitness test consisted of analyzing the parameters of appearance sensory tests as described in preceding studies, performing a simulated appearance sensory test, collecting and considering apparel experts' opinions about the test parameters, and establishing test conditions in terms of test regions, descriptions and faces. For the regions of the abdomen, hip, crotch, thighs, and knees, the parameter of unnecessary wrinkle/stretch was observed from the anterior and posterior body, and then evaluated; for waist, hip, crotch, knee and hem circumference, the parameters of ease and horizontality were observed from the anterior body and posterior body followed by evaluation; and, at the levels of waist, hip, crotch, knee and hem circumference, the division of the lateral line were observed from the lateral body followed by evaluation. Motion fitness test was composed of reviewing and analyzing comparatively the methods of motion fitness tests as mentioned in preceding studies, and establishing test conditions in terms of test motions and test regions. For each of the waist, abdomen, hip, crotch, and knees, wear sensation was tested in the positions as follows: upright standing, moderate walking, chairsitting, bending forward to the maximum, and kneeling down, provided that as the measured points of garment pressure, anterior waist, abdominal protrusion, buttock protrusion, crotch, and midpatella were set and tested.

An example of functional army's training wear was developed with careful considerations given to the actual user. Three steps of a functional clothing design process were followed in the design procedure. First, information on the adequacy of the current army's training wear was collected by interviews with 192 persons. Second, the current design and construction of the training wear was altered to meet the user's need from the result of the interview. Third, the performance of the newly designed army's training wear was evaluated for their effectiveness in several aspects such as conditions of the microclimate within clothing, metabolic rate, garment pressure during arm movements and appearance during body motions.

본 연구는 신한복 저고리에 대한 선호도 조사를 통해 추출된 신한복 저고리 디자인을 기본으로 하여 신한복 저고리 원형을 개발하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 선행연구에서 선정된 K패턴을 기본으로 하여 진행되었으며, 외관평가에 대한 분석은 SPSS 27.0 프로그램을 활용하였다. 1차 외관평가 및 의복압 평가 결과, 어깨부위의 수정이 요구되어 어깨끝점을 1cm 줄여 진동둘레를 다시 정리하였다. 소매길이와 둘레의 수정은 소매길이를 1.5cm 줄이고 소매둘레는 양쪽 끝에서 0.5cm씩 줄여 주었다. 2차 평가결과, 저고리길이와 밑단둘레, 소매길이에 대한 수정이 요구되어 앞뒤저고리길이와 소매길이를 1cm 줄여 주었다. 밑단둘레는 프린세스라인에서 각각 0.2cm씩 줄여 총 1.6cm를 줄여 최종 평가에서는 높은 평가를 받았다. 향후 연구에서는 소재별, 길이별, 연령별 패턴 연구를 실시하고 실제 착의실험을 통한 수정사항 도출이 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

This study initiated research aligned with the body positivity movement, aiming to explore size diversity for groups facing relative size discrimination due to their deviation from average body types. Using KS adult women's apparel dimensions as a reference, jackets were developed for women in their 20s to 30s who belong to the small petite-size (S[P]) category, which is characterized by a height under 155cm (petite) and a bust-circumference from 72cm to less than 82cm (small). Using 3D virtual-fitting, we conducted experiment-pattern production and refinement and subsequent real-fitting evaluations by participants to objectively validate aesthetics and comfort. The study's findings are as follows: First, utilizing a 3D virtual-fitting program by identifying 'creases' and 'garment pressure points' in the jacket appearance, experiment patterns were refined and real jackets were produced. This approach addressed challenges in recruiting participants with specific body types and allowed for efficient research in terms of cost and time. Second, through real-fitting evaluations, basic-fit and slim-fit jackets labeled as <79-88-150> were developed for the S(P) size. we presented 'size spec' and 'ease allowance' for jackets by waist fit. Both fits received positive evaluations with approximately 53.5cm sleeve length, and 11.7cm shoulder length. The ease allowances for the basic-fit jacket were approximately 9.2cm at the bust circumference, 12.8cm at the waist circumference, and 6cm at the hip circumference. Similarly, the slim-fit jacket exhibited ease allowances of about 4.8cm at the bust circumference, 4cm at the waist circumference, and 4cm at the hip circumference, receiving positive evaluations for aesthetics and comfort.

본 연구에서는 커스터마이징 시스템 개발을 위한 신한복 치마 패턴 개발의 기초자료를 얻기 위해 신한복 브랜드의 치마 패턴을 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 신한복 6개 브랜드의 패턴을 분석하여 가상착의를 시킨 후 외관평가와 의복압 및 공극량을 평가하였다. 시판 신한복 브랜드 A, B, C, D, E, F의 허리치마 패턴을 분석한 결과, 같은 디자인의 free 사이즈 치마임에도 불구하고 각기 다른 치수로 제작되는 것으로 나타났다. 허리치마의 패턴은 기존의 한복과 같이 평면적인 패턴으로 구성되었다. 외관평가 결과 앞면, 옆면, 뒷면 모든 평가항목에서 6개 브랜드의 패턴 간에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 외관평가 모든 항목에서 B 브랜드의 허리치마가 우수한 것으로 평가되었다. 의복압을 알아보기 위해 색분포도와 공극량을 살펴본 결과, 허리에 둘러서 착용하는 허리치마의 특성상 대부분의 부위에서 공극량이 큰 것으로 나타나 의복압이 낮은 것으로 평가되었다. 본 연구에서는 신한복 활성화에 따른 치수 및 패턴 규격화를 위한 기초자료를 제안하며, B브랜드 패턴을 기본으로 한 통일된 패턴개발이 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

Body means 1)the whole structure and substance of a man, animal, or plant 2) the trunk or torso of a man or animal 3) part of garment that covers the trunk 4) the fresh or material substance, as opposed to the spirit. Human body could be distinguished as fresh and spirit. Body has the meaning of physicality. Physical means the bodily and constitution, but in the meaning of constitution there is the content of spirituality. Physicality means the appearing or arising of trace or image or nuance of body. The paintings which are using bodies are 1) directly draw bodies 2) twisting or transformation or nuance of the body and highly upgrade the physical emotion or fantastic bodily nuance 3) directly rubbing artist's body on the surface of painting with pigments to elect tactile specification. These physical art have appeared broadly by various artists, mainly with the social aspects of sex, drug, psycho sexual issues. In case of Joel peter Whitkin, the reason of strong physicality in the art is from the mind of the rejection and resistance of real world which is targeting top, perfect and beauty. Further explanation, being the world which is separated top and under, men and women, beauty and ugly; further in the situation, the hierarchy, terror and pressure began and many difficult problems has derived. The contents of attacking feminists's art works are very obscene to reveal female and male's phallus strongly. Sometime, it is strongly related in the political issues. The physical paintings have strong meanings in the action by hands and feet. It supports that it could reveal the humanity with smell, breath, and traces of bodies. In the bodies, the origin of life begins which gives human life by blood lines and water. Sometime, the physical paintings are made by the blood and urine to stick the physicality for special nuance. The physical paintings are made by the image of penis and clitoris which are related in the image of urinating, ejaculation and sometime is symbolized as pens and candles to drop liquid. The selected painters who are related in physical painting are Jackson Pollock, Andrea Serano, Eve Klein, Francis Bacon, Francesco Clemente, Lichard Long, Jakes & Dinos Chapman, Anselm Kiefer, Kiki Smith and Park, Ki Woong. Francis Bacon's style is destructive in representing human shapes which give us special message about the unbearable activity of men politician, high brain, wealthy and religious people. Francesco Clemente's method is to use throat, ear hole, mouse, clitoris, belly nostrils and every holes of body to transmute human physical body. Lichard Long uses directly his body in drawing the surface of painting by using liquid of mud Jakes & Dinos Chapman destroys or transforms the bodies of human. It sometime appears wrong location of the bodies that the penis and vulva is in between human faces or nose of women, Anselm Kiefer uses human hair for representing the human decaying martyrs, and indirectly using straw, he gives special ritual action to repent the Nazi's fault. From 2002 to 2003, Park KI Woong used women womb images to intermingle the smoke shape of <9.11 terror, 2001> in New York to reveal the painful situation of the time(*).

The purpose of this qualitative research was to examine the behavior patterns and activities related to the clothing of older women. A total of 31 older women were interviewed regarding indoor/outdoor wearing conditions, thermal sensation indoors, and their clothing perception related to health. The final outcomes were as follows. Firstly, interviewees viewed indoor temperature as neutral in the spring and fall. Many people felt cool or warm in the summer and warm or cold in the winter. Secondly, they controlled indoor temperature with an air conditioner and/or fan and by opening the window and/or wearing less clothing. In winter, most respondents used a heating system and wore more clothing. It seemed that the level of dependence on clothing was higher in winter. Thirdly, the number of garment layer indoors was similar among the four seasons, and many wore underwear. However, there were individual variations. Fourthly, interviewees tended to perceive clothing in relation to health. Textile materials appropriate to the season were firstly viewed as related to health, followed by climate adaptability, clothing pressure, UV protection, and aesthetic satisfaction. Fifthly, respondents showed positive attitudes towards health improvement by clothing even though they lacked information on it. From this research, older women showed positive the perception and attitudes regarding clothing from a health perspective. Since they lacked information, education is needed regarding the bases and ways to improve health through clothing behavior.

All kinds of art are the creatures of the daly and reflect the society and the life of the day in literary works. So, in which literary works, we can find the styles of those who lived in the specified days. And the styles of its character's costume are expressed with the day'mood and cultural backgrounds. In this study, we studied on the general meaning, which was shown in the Costume of early Ch'ing Dynasty that was forming the Costume of dress through dividing into the underwear and the outer garment in $\ulcorner$Dream of the read Chamber$\lrcorner$. During the Ch'ing Dynasty, according to the rule : Men followed it but women not" , they held on to the costume of them (both the Man and the Han) with a high pressure and a conciliatory policy. As a result, I have known that there is the Soojean clothe(수전의), which is the late Myung Dynasty's one and their is also Skirt (군), which held on the Costume of the Myung's. Hence in the Ch'ing , there are a lot of difference in the Costume , the economy and the politic because the ruler was not the han but the Ch'ing. Those characters are as follows. first, on the side of the style , it is occured in the coat and the over jacket of the round neckline. The style of the sleeves are also the tightly(고착). Second, on the side o f the material, the use of the furs are found. It seems that are influence of the north area. Third, it is involved not the traditional Costume of the Han, but the over jacket(which is waistlength), These characters had taken root into the Costume of the Ch'ing Dynasty. In case of the jacket, which are found in the novel most frequently , it was represented by the tight jacket (소오), the long jacket (대오), the short jacket(단오) and the Sam (삼). The skirt was used by women only. the Slacks were trousers only for men, so it was not foujnd in the women's wear. In the vest, the over jacket and coat, which are for putting on, its material, insiqnia and varied embroidery are very brillant and elaborate. The used materials are the silks , furs, wools and cottons. Among the dick silks are used most frequently . in case of the over jacket, the precious and varied furs are used for the collar, the sleeve or the decoration and the lining cloth. In the novel, mean followd the Costume of the Man and women followed the Costume of the Han. Especially, it is a special costume that there were women in male attire. Finally, the costume of the Ch'ing had built the unique one with holding on the advantage and the short point s of the northen race and the Han's. Also , I can find the brilliant , eleborate Customes of the aristocratic class in the novel.
