It was found that attitudes towards mobile game advertisements and attitudes towards mobile games have an influence on the switching intention of mobile games. Through this, we intend to provide useful implications for small and medium game companies to seek effective marketing plans.

In this paper, we propose a win-win network operating platform for mobile games. The characteristics of the service structure suggested is to form a marketing network that can influence the mobile game market by linking with the mobile game industry, and the excellent game content of the game developer in the industrial complex may not disappear. We also would like to propose a network operating platform that would help it enter the market area steadily. The proposed platform technology is used to distribute rapidly through a win-win network between game companies and publishers. When new games are commercialized, they can support continuous target marketing through various data indicators and analytics by the developed platform. In particular, G-Cross marketing strategy is considered to be a low-cost, high-efficiency marketing method in that it can provide users with information about new games by utilizing the given game infrastructure and utilize the user group possessed by each game company.
The proliferation of electronic commerce(EC) has led manufactureres to consider Internet based marketing as a salient candidate for strategic diversification of marketing channel. In this case, each manufacturer can build its own Web store or rent an existing special EC store. Such decision making of ‘build’ or ‘rent’ can be analyzed by a game model which derives the Nash solutions for price and profit considering degree of competition with other competitive manufacturers. In this paper, to overcome the drawbacks of the traditional linear demand function, we first propose a new linear demand function which incorporates not only the price difference between competitive products but the awareness of Web stores perceived by the consumers, then design the game models to analyze the characteristics of three typical types of marketing channel in duopoly market. Based on the Nash solutions of the game models, we analyzed the effect of the degree of competition and Web awareness in selecting the optimal marketing channel.
This study introduces and empirically test the validity of Bass model that helps demand forecasting of new game products. As Major League Baseball (MLB)'s continuous decline in popularity has caused its game attendance to drop gradually, the league makes a desperate attempt such as game rule changes to remain relevant. Along with the introduction of new rules to make games more dynamic such as the pitch clock, bigger bases, and defensive shift limitations, it is important for MLB franchises to understand drivers for game attendance. We focus on the effect of accumulated winning performance of the two teams on game attendance, one of the key drivers of game attendance, and investigate how it is influenced by consumer and industry factors such as online search and game rule changes. We find that game attendance increases as the prior winning performance of the home (away) team increases (decreases). We also find that online search and rule changes for more dynamic games moderate the effect of winning performance on game attendance.
Consumer perception evaluation depending on the game genre affects many parts of the corporate management including market share, gaining new consumer, maintaining consumer and competition. If consumer perceives a company and a product as bad image, gaining new consumer would be no more available, and enormous amount of time would have to be spent to recover from that bad image. However game companies tend to simply keep spontaneous marketing strategy with the enforcing marketing. Its results will be the short-term success sacrificing the long-term marketing opportunity In order to increase sales and market share, the consumer perception evaluation as well as evaluating the game product and the corporate image is necessary. This article gives emphasis on the general game analysis and formulating strategy in the general game genre rather than a certain corporation and a product. Analyzing a particular product, company, platform and nation is necessary and will be followed subsequently.
The present study investigated fashion Instagram marketing, applying the concept of gamification. It set out to examine the following specific issues: 1) perceptions of flow, pleasures, dimensions of game dynamics (challenge, competition, achievement, reward, relationships among participants, and relationships between brands and consumers), and consumer responses based on frequency and involvement in exercise; 2) the effects of game dynamics dimensions on flow and pleasure; and 3) the effects of flow and pleasure on consumer responses. An online survey was used to gather data and the study analyzed a total of 200 responses. The results of the study were as follows. Perception differences were found only in relation to exercise involvement. Competition, relationships among participants, and relationships between brands and customers positively predicted flow. Among the dimensions of game dynamics, challenge, competition, reward, relationships among participants, and relationships between brands and consumers positively influenced pleasure. In addition, the study also found that pleasure and flow had positive effects on intention to participate and brand loyalty. Meanwhile, only pleasure predicted word-of-mouth. These findings suggest that fashion brands implementing Instagram as a marketing channel should seek to stimulate pleasure and fun to provoke positive consumer responses. Furthermore, the findings of the study provide practical and useful insights for fashion brands implementing Instagram marketing.
