Realization of a Automatic Grading System for Driver's License Test (자동차 운전면허 시험을 위한 자동 채점 시스템 구현)

  • It is important to estimate objectively in the driving test. Especially, the driving test is examined by totally driving ability, rule observation and situational judgement. For this, a grading automation system for driving test was presented by using GPS, sensor data and equipment operation informations. This system is composed of vehicle mounted module, automatic grading terminal, data controller, data storage and processing server. The vehicle mounted module gathters sensor data in the car. The terminal performs automatic grading using the received sensor data according the driving test criterion. To overcome the misposition of vehicle in the map due to GPS error, we proposed the automatic grading system by map matching method, path deviation and return algorithm. In the experimental results, it was possible to grade automatically, display the right position of the car, and return to the right path under 10 seconds when the vehicle was out of the shadow region of the GPS. This system can be also applied to the driving education.

  • In this paper, Gaussian probability distribution model based multi-sensor data fusion algorithm is proposed for a vehicular location awareness system. Conventional vehicular location awareness systems are operated by GPS (Global Positioning System). However, the conventional system is not working in the indoor of building or urban area where the receiver is difficult to receive the signal from satellites. A method which is combined GPS and UWB (Ultra Wide-Band) has developed to improve this problem. However, vehicular is difficult to receive seamless location information since the measurement systems by both GPS and UWB convert the vehicle's movement information separately at each sensor. In this paper, normalized probability distribution model based Hybrid UWB/GPS is proposed by utilizing GPS location data and UWB sensor data. Therefore the proposed system provides information with seamless and location flexible properties. The proposed system tested by Ubisense and Asen GPS in the $12m{\times}8m$ outdoor environments. As a result, the proposed system has improved performance for accurateness and connection ability between devices to support various CNS (Car Navigation System).

Precision Analysis of GPS Surveying Using Continuos Stations (상시관측소의 데이터를 이용한 GPS측량의 정밀도분석)

  • This study is aimed to suggest a practical use of GPS continuous stations by conducting the precision analysis using its data. Currently dozens of continuous stations have been installed and operated since the first GPS continuous station built by KAO(Korea Astronomy Observation) in 1985. The utilization of the surveyed information, however, has been under-developed regardless of a significant investment, which leads the necessity of utilization plan. The results of this study show that the mis-closures between the two points at University of Incheon and Suwon/Seoul stations of NGI(National Geography Institute), Seoul stat ion of KAO, and Incheon station of MOGAHA(Ministry Of Government Administration and Home Affairs) are 0.0206m, 0.0118m, 0.0129m and 0.0024m respectively. It indicates that the analyzed mis-closures were less than the allowed values ill the primary/secondary control point specification for GPS surveying, i.e. a mis-closure less than 30mm for the distance less than 30km and a mis-closure less than $IPPM{\times}D(km)$ for the distance greater than 30km.

  • GPS is one of today's most widely used surveying techniques. But, users can't acquire an enough accuracy in applications of the navigation or geodesy by the GPS positioning technique because of the effects of the ionosphere and troposphere and US DoD's systematic errors. The solution of these restrictions is the DGPS technique that is to eliminate the common errors and can achieve a high accuracy. Although of sufficient density for good DGPS, accuracy of positioning is just not dense enough to provide complete coverage for real-time positioning, because distances between base and rover is short. In this paper, we designed and implemened a RTK-GPS error correction signal transmission system for long-distance using the TCP/IP, which consist of TCP, UDP and IP, which allows a user to increase the distance at which the rover receiver is located from the base, due to radio modem.

  • In this paper, we propose a system to predict the GPS trajectory of a pedestrian based on a deep learning model. Pedestrian trajectory prediction is a study that can prevent pedestrian danger and collision situations through notifications, and has an impact on business such as various marketing. In addition, it can be used not only for pedestrians but also for path prediction of unmanned transportation, which is receiving a lot of spotlight. Among various trajectory prediction methods, this paper is a study of trajectory prediction using GPS data. It is a deep learning model-based study that predicts the next route by learning the GPS trajectory of pedestrians, which is time series data. In this paper, we presented a data set construction method that allows the deep learning model to learn the GPS route of pedestrians, and proposes a trajectory prediction deep learning model that does not have large restrictions on the prediction range. The parameters suitable for the trajectory prediction deep learning model of this study are presented, and the model's test performance are presented.

  • This study is to analyze the accuracy of position determination in cadastral surveying using VRS GNSS(GPS/GLONASS), and is to suggest a possibility to improvement of accuracy in decision making of cadastral surveying result based on this result. As a result of this study, the position accurate of this study, which decides position combining with GPS/GLONASS satellite data is about 3cm more accurate than using only GPS satellite data. Therefore, if GNSS integrated receiving method is to be applied on cadastration, it can be expected to improve to estimate the position accuracy.

  • GPS Phone 이 Location Service를 제공하기 위해서는 위성데이터를 GPS Phone 에 제공하는 PDE(Position Determination Entity) 가 필요한데 초기 개발단계에서 실제 PDE를 개발단계의 GPS Phone에 연동하기는 번거롭고 비효율적인 면이 많다. 따라서 실제 PDE를 대신하여 개발단계의 GPS Phone 에 위성데이타를 제공해 줄 SW가 필요하다. 이에 본 논문은 Location Service를 제공하는 GPS Phone 초기 개발단계에서의 시험을 위해 실제 PDE를 대신할 수 있는 PDE Emulator를 구현하였다.

Determinate Real-Time Position and Attitude using GPS/INS/AT for Real-time Aerial Monitoring System (실시간 공중 자료획득 시스템을 위한 GPS/INS/AT를 이용한 실시간 위치/자세 결정)

  • Real-time Aerial Monitoring System performs the rapid mapping in an emergency situation so that the geoinformation could be constructed in near real time. In this system, the position and attitude information from GPS/INS integration algorithm is used to perform the aerial triangulation(AT) without GCPs. Therefore, if we obtain Exterior Orientation(EO) estimates from AT sequentially, EO are used as the measurements in the Kalman filter. In this study, we simulate the GPS/IMS/Image data for an UAV-based aerial monitoring system and compare the GPS/INS/AT with and without from AT. Comparative analysis showed that result from the GPS/INS/AT with EO update is more accurate than without the update. However, when the vehicle turns, the position error significantly increases which need more analysis in the future.

  • GPS 수신기에서 항법을 수행하기 위해서 신호탐색, 신호추적, 데이터 동기, 데이터 복조, 측정치 생성 및 위치 계산의 과정을 거쳐야 한다. TTFF(Time To First Fix)는 이러한 시간의 합으로 수신기의 성능을 나타내는 중요 평가지수 중의 하나이다. 일반적인 수신기의 TTFF는 80~90초인 것으로 알려져 있으며, 고속으로 운동하는 항체의 경우, 빠른 TTFF를 필요로 하므로 가장 긴 시간이 소비하는 신호탐색 과정의 시간을 줄여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 고속으로 운동하는 항체에서 GPS 신호의 코드 탐색 시간을 줄이기 위하여 다중 상관기 구조를 가지는 수신기를 설계 하고자한다. 설계한 수신기는 수신된 신호의 코드위상을 여러 개의 상관기에서 동시에 탐색하도록 다중 상관기를 구성하여 코드위상 검색에 소요되는 시간을 단축시킨다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 GPS 모의 신호 발생기를 이용하여 실험을 수행하였다. GPS 신호는 IF 데이터 수집 장치로부터 수집된 신호를 이용하며, 실험 수행 결과 다중 상관기를 이용하였을 때 TTFF가 단축되는 것을 확인하였다.

  • Customized services for individuals in analysis of recently collected GPS information have been investigated in various aspects. As the size of collected GPS data gets larger, a variety of services is being released accordingly. Existing studies, however, are limited to presenting service models for users while there is little study on developing intelligent computing technologies in the introduction of GPS information into the system. This study suggests an algorithm to analyze traffic information by introducing GPS information into the system in order to take the lead among intelligent computing technologies. The suggested algorithm analyzes a map by means of the collected vehicle GPS information and sectional traffic information interpretation method; thus, the computer judges the traffic information collected by humans. The experiment result shows that the traffic information was properly analyzed upon the utilization of the given data. Although a small quantity of analyzed data was less reliable, the system maintained high reliability as the data was sufficient.
