Currently, GPS data process software appears different results that according to user's skills or software. Also, lots of time and efforts are necessary for using GPS data process software to general user, not a specialist On the other band, on-line GPS data process service have a merit that can cony out GPS data process without technical efforts and time. In this study, permanent GPS site's observation data of NGII(National Geographic Information Institute) was processed by on-line GPS data process service, and utilization assessment of on-line GPS data process service was performed by comparing this result with notified coordinates by the NGII in order to analyze positional accuracy. 10 permanent GPS sites of NGII including Suwon which is registered in IGS(International GNSS Service) were selected and these GPS observation data was processed by AUSPOS and CSRS-PPP.

Recently, because Global Positioning System (GPS) achieves accuracy for engagement of enemy targets, GPS guided weapons have a wide range of applications from land through sea to air. Especially, when GPS guided weapon is then launched, it reads current position and searches a course to the target. As we all know, because GPS signals are weak, these signals can be affected by interference. If jamming signal is strong enough, it can jam the receiver of GPS guided weapon. Therefore, anti-jamming technique is an important thing under these conditions. In this paper, the controlling azimuth angle was used to improve navigation performance of precision guided missile under jamming conditions. First of all, precision missiles by GPS positioning such as SLAM-ER and JDAM were investigated. Also, the azimuth cutoff angle of satellites for usable navigation under jamming signals was analyzed by experimental tests. As a result, we found that azimuth cutoff angle under 140 degree can help ensure continuous GPS reception under the missile guidance.
The altitudes of GEO satellites are higher than those of GPS satellites. Therefore the visibility and the received power of GPS signals are totally different from those of the users near the Earth's surface. In this study, we analyzed the visibility of GPS signals received on GEO satellites. And we also developed a software GPS receiver that works on GEO satellites using CCMDB algorithm which is a weak signal receiver algorithm. GPS signals received on a GEO satellite are generated by a commercial hardware GPS simulator and used for the verification of the developed software GPS receiver. The mean 3D position and velocity error are calculated as 165.636 m and 0.5081 m/s.

In this paper, we propose a new assisted global positioning system (A-GPS) using terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (T-DMB) data services. Because of the weak signal strength from GPS satellite and the signal blockage, it is difficult for the telematics terminal to determine the position in urban area. Proposed A-GPS system calculates pseudo range (PR) from timing information of GPS satellites and obtains the satellite information such as ephemeris from T-DMB station to determine the current position. Compared to conventional GPS system, the proposed system has better performance in terms of the fast time to first fix (TTFF), low horizontal dilution of precision (HDOP). Experimental results show that the proposed system is a feasible and robust solution.

A GPS receiver system utilized on satellite launch vehicles should operate normally under harsh environments as well as high-dynamic conditions. The GPS receiver system to use for range safety of KSLV(Korea Space Launch Vehicle)-I that is the first satellite launch vehicle developed by KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute) has been confirmed to survive under the environment of the launcher through extensive terrestrial tests including humidity, high and low temperatures, vacuum, sinusoidal and random vibrations, shocks, acceleration, EMI/EMC(Electromagnetic Interference/ Electromagnetic Compatibility), etc. Several performance tests have been also carried out in order to evaluate tracking capability and accuracy of the GPS receiver under high-dynamic conditions using a GPS signal simulator. Some lessons-learned during development of the GPS receiver system and its special characteristics compared with COTS(Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) GPS receiver systems are described in this paper.
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is widely utilized for commercial and military applications to estimate the location of the user or object. The GPS suffers from various intentional or unintentional interferers and it requires estimating the accurate angle-of-arrival (AOA) of the GPS signal to suppress interference signals and to efficiently detect GPS data. Since the power of GPS signal is very low comparing with the noise and interference signals, it is extremely difficult to estimate GPS AOA before despreading. Although AOA of GPS signal is usually estimated after despreading, it requires choosing the GPS AOA among results of AOA estimation because they include AOAs of interference and GPS signals when existing high-power interferers. In this paper, we propose the efficient choosing algorithm of the GPS signal among the estimated AOAs. The proposed algorithm compares the estimated results before despreading and after despreading for choosing AOA of GPS signal. Computer simulation examples are presented to illustrate the performance of the proposed algorithm.

In this study, the epoch adjustment model was developed to correct GPS precise point positioning result to be suitable for the current geodetic datum of Korea which is tied at past epoch statically. The model is based on the formula describing crustal movements, and the formula is composed of several parameters. To determine the parameters, the data gathered at 14 permanent GPS stations for 10 years, from 2000 to 2011, were processed using GIPSY-OASIS II. It was possible to determine the position of permanent GPS stations with an error range of 16mm and the position of check points with an error range of 12mm by appling the model to GPS precise point positioning result. It is considered that more precise model could be calculated by using GPS data of more permanent GPS stations.

In this thesis, two test flights were conducted in Gwacheon and Suwon area to evaluate the performance of accuracy and efficiency through the analysis of results among the three photogrammetric methods, that is, traditional photogrammetry, GPS -Photogrammetry and GPS/INS-Photogrammetry. Test results shows that a large variety of advantages of GPS-Photogrammetry and GPS/INS-Photogrammetry against traditional photogrammetry is to be verified. Especially, the number of ground control points for the exterior orientation could be saved more than 70-80%, and the cost for map production 30-50%, respectively. In addition, it was convinced that the large reduction of control points has not any effect on the block accuracy. It was also proved that the number of required ground control points for GPS/INS-Photogrammetry, is similar to that of GPS-Photogrammetry. Therefore it should be noted that GPS -Photogrammetry is more efficient in the aspect of reduction of mapping cost against GPS/INS-Photogrammetry, installing only an existing GPS receiver on survey aircraft to avoid high economic burden of procurement for integrated GPS/INS equipment.
A Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), which is typically exemplified by the Global Positioning System (GPS), employs a open signal structure so it is vulnerable to spoofing electronic attack using a similar malicious signal with that used in the GPS. It is necessary to require a spoofing test evaluation environment to check the risk of spoofing attack and evaluate the performance of a newly developed anti-spoofing technique against spoofing attacks. The present paper proposed a simulation method of spoofing environment based on simulator that can be implementable in a test room and analyzed the spoofing simulation performance using commercial GPS receivers. The implemented spoofing simulation system ran synchronized two GPS simulator modules in a single scenario to generate both of spoofing and GPS signals simultaneously. Because the signals are generated in radio frequency, a commercial GPS receiver can be tested using this system. Experimental test shows the availability of this system, and anti-spoofing performance of a commercial GPS receiver has been analyzed.
