A Study on the Technology Diagnosing Particles with Two Acoustic Emission Sensors Which have the Different Characteristics of Frequency in GIS (주파수특성이 다른 2개의 초음파 친서에 의한 GIS 이물진단 기술 연구)

  • This paper described about the acoustic wave measurement method to diagnose GIS for particles. We measured and analyzed the signals of acoustic waves with two type acoustic sensors having 125kHz and 50kHz resonant frequency respectively when the particles were bounced on the inside surfaces of GIS tanks by the electrostatic force. To use two sensors for the diagnosis of GIS, we set up the calibration method for this measurement method. We showed the output characteristics of two sensors according to the sizes and materials of particles in the experiment. As the results, the inception voltages bouncing particles depended on the materials and the extinction voltages bouncing them depended on the sizes and materials. We found out that the relationship between sizes of particles and output voltages of sensors didn′t have linearity but the ratios of between peak values of two sensors depended on the materials of GIS enclosures and the sizes of particles.

Estimating Soil Losses from Saemangeum Watershed based on Cropping Systems (작부체계를 고려한 새만금유역의 토양유실량 추정)

  • A Geographic Information System (GIS) was developed to estimate basin-wide soil losses using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE). It was applied to estimate the annual average soil losses from the Saemangeum watershed. The USLE factors for each subarea of uniform land use and treatments were estimated from the GIS routines from digital topographic maps, land cover and detailed soil maps. A routine was developed to estimate the averaged cropping management factors (C) of USLE for multi-cropping farmlands, based on cropping system records from the district offices. The resulting C factors ranged from 0.28 to 0.35 for multi-cropping areas. The estimated annual average soil loss was approximately 2.9 million tonnes. Typical soil losses from different land uses were 0.8 t/ha at paddies, 33.7 t/ha at uplands and 1.1 t/ha from forested mountains. It was also found that 6.0% of the arable land of the watershed possessed high risks of soil losses, and conservation measures were needed to reduce soil losses.

An Inquiry about the statistical meaning on the fuel gas accidents by ANOVA (변량분석을 통해 본 가스사고의 통계적 의미 고찰)

  • The quantity of the fuel gas consumed is trending upwards because it can be easily delivered but isn't deteriorated and doesn't have any environmental pollution. Though there are many advantages to use the fuel gas, it can be hesitated to consume more gas because of its explosiveness and combustibility. So paying more attentions to prevent the fuel gas accidents is required. In this paper, we examine the present situation data about the fuel gas accidents and analyze them statistically using ANOVA. we confirm that there is an acceptable difference between the mean values of accidents classified by the kind of gas, the cause, the type and the place but isn't by month. It is expected that our result can be applied as preliminary data when mapping out a strategy for preventing the fuel gas accidents.

  • 교통정책과 계획수립에 가장 중요한 의사결정 과정은 통행수요 분석이고, 이에 활용되고 있는 필수적인 기초 데이터베이스는 분석용 네트워크와 기종점 통행량이 있다. 통행수요 추정과정의 합리성이 보장되도록 하기 위해서는 이러한 기본 입력 자료의 신뢰성은 중요하다. 하지만, 일반적으로 분석용 네트워크를 구축할 때 예산과 분석기간의 제약 때문에 실세계의 교통망 중 많은 부분을 단순화 시켜서 구축한다. 또한 기 구축된 네트워크에 대해서도 변경되는 교통망을 반영하기 위해 네트워크를 수정, 편집할 때에도 많은 재원과 시간이 소요된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 보완하고자 교통분석 목적의 패키지(EMME/2, TranPlan) 혹은 범용의 GIS 패키지(ArcGIS)에서 직접 이용할 수 있도록 기 구축된 네트워크를 기반으로 GIS 데이터로의 변환 혹은 네트워크를 추출하는 양방향 데이터 교환 시스템을 개발하였다. 이러한 GIS-T 통합 시스템은 네트워크의 편집과 분석에 효율적인 환경을 제공하여 보다 현실적인 교통망 모델링을 반영할 것으로 기대되며 다양한 교통문제에 대한 분석에 효과적인 도구로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

A Blind Vector Digital Watermarking for GIS using the Closest Pair of Points (최근점 쌍을 이용한 벡터 맵 디지털 워터마킹)

  • This paper proposed a novel vector digital watermarking method to protect copyright. The proposed method embeds watermarks after finding the closest pair of points and calculating the distance of the points. We tested the robustness of the method through several attacks on watermarked data. The experimental results show that the proposed method has more robustness than previous methods. And the new method doesn't change the topology of the vector data. Therefore, this method can be 'the vector digital watermarking for GIS.

  • 343 kV GIS 다빈도 조작 CB 내부에 접점이 마모되어 많은 파티클이 발생한다. 이러한 파티클이 GIS 네부에 존재할 때 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 이론적으로 근거를 제시하고, 이를 실험적으로 검증을 하였다. 현장에서 수거한 파티클을 설치 운영중인 PDMS 장비와 HAEFELY 장비를 이용하여 실험용 GIS에 삽입후 발생하는 현상들을 동시에 비교 분석하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 모의GIS(내에서 부분방전(partial discharge:PD) 발생 시 방사되는 전자파 신호를 두 개의 UHF(Ultra-High Frequency)타임 혼형안테나(Time-Do main Antennas: NBS-200)를 설계제작하여 오실로스코프를 이용한 부분방전의 위치검출에 관해 연구하였다. 실험조건은 GIS내에 금속 파티클을 넣고 전압을 32[kV]로 고정하여 파티클의 활발한 진동시에 방사되는 전자파 신호를 오실로스코프를 사용하여 측정된 두 신호의 시간차를 이용하여 추정하였다.

Habitat Evaluation of Japanese Black Bear using GIS

  • In this research, GIS based evaluation methods were applied to habitats of Japanese black bear (Ursus thibetanus japonicus Schlegel) in northern Honshu. The study area was divided into 828 small watershed units , and five GIS indexes, Vegetation Type(V.T.), Extent of Forest Cover (E.F.C.) Slope Incline (S.I), Average Altitude (A.A.) and Road Density(R.D.), were used to evaluate each watershed unit in terms of suitability as black bear habitat. In addition, Interspersion and Juxtaposition spatial indices were calculated for each watershed unit. The results clearly identified the regions with the most suitable habitats, indicating that this methodology is suitable for application to various environmental planning efforts, such as regional development master plans, project-specific environmental impact assessments, species management plans and biodiversity conservation plans.

  • This paper analyzes of PD occurrence position through an analysis of the arrival time difference between the GIS partial discharge signal. Because of GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) is a facility very important power equipment and as part of the equipment that make up the power system, the stabilization of the power industry, which accounted for 88.5% share of GIS substation in the form of a substation is an important equipment for power supply. In the situation where we are gradually expanding the need for preventive diagnosis in order to improve the efficiency of equipment management and failure prevention for Preventive diagnosis. In this paper as a method for extracting pre-defect of failure of GIS Apply the average value method of calculating the 5 times each using a pulse of the first time of the second pulse (${\Delta}t$) with an oscilloscope generation position PD(Partial Discharge). the results of GIS internal inspection, the partial discharge of the actual the position of the partial discharge was confirmed with an accuracy of about 82% of positions. Arrival time difference in the most effective manner if the partial discharge of GIS internal occurs by applying the averaging method and TOA(Time of arrival) method, the partial discharge occurs you through the measurement and analysis of PD signal occurs was confirmed in the experiment are presented and diagnostic methods location tracking.

  • As can be seen in US case with the introduction of ISTEA and CAAA, the expansion of the transportation decision-making role of local government is expected to be quite apparent in Korea, and the increased importance of decision-making in transportation issues requires increased attention to both justification and analysis of transportation initiatives. A GIS-based facility management system in a desktop computing environment has been constructed using MapInfo, ARC/INFO, and Microstation to allow such expanded role of local government's decision-making activities. In this paper, first, authors try to explain the procedures of system design; that is, the digital map production including vectorizing, data conversion, attribute data entry, and application programming development. Then, various management functions which are basically embedded in MapInfo environment, and application functions established by the use of MapBasic language has been explored Finally, the possible benefits of combining geographic information systems with traffic planning scheme has also been described with some discussion.
