FEM을 이용한 GIS내 부분방전 신호의 전파특성 해석 (Analysis of Partial Discharge Signal Propagation Characteristics in GIS using FEM)

  • The UHF electromagnetic waves excited by PD pulses propagate along the GIS busbar not only TEM mode, but also TE and TM mode. Generally the waves detected by the UHF sensors are those of high order modes and such waves can only propagate higher than cut-off frequency. In this paper, the cut-off frequency of 362[kV] GIS for each modes is computed and the electromagnetic field of each propagation modes is simulated by FEM(Finite Element Method) program. Frequency band of each TEmn/TMmn modes was determinated by simulation results and was discussed optimal position of UHF sensor from this results.

  • This paper describes analysis and pattern recognition techniques for Partial Discharge(PD) signals in Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS). Detection of PD signals is one of the most important factors in the predictive maintenance of GIS. One of the methods of detection is electro magnetic wave detection within the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) band (300MHz $\~$ 3GHz). In this paper, PD activity simulation is generated using three types of artificial defects, which were detected by a UHF PD sensor installed in the GIS. The detected PD signals were performed on three-dimensional phi-q-n analysis. Finally, parameters were calculated and an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) was applied for PD pattern recognition. As a result, it was possible to discriminate and classify the defects.

  • In this study, an insulation design program which can calculate electric field of the GIS bus parts easily was developed. It also can evaluate the insulation safety depending on gas density. For bus parts of $1{\varphi}$ GIS, it was intended to provide a optimal diameter of a conductor and an enclosure automatically for the convenience of GIS insulation designer. This program was coded by Visual Basic and electric field was calculated by the Charge Simulation Method(CSM), which is one of the most accurate method for an electric field analysis.

GIS내 금속이물 존재시 절연특성 (The Insulation Characteristics by Conducting Particle in GIS)

  • This paper describes the influence of conducting particle in the coaxial cylindrical electrodes under alternating voltage condition investigated using breakdown electric field and electro magnetics simulation method. Simulated particle-location in GIS chamber were the particle on electrode, the particle on enclosure and free moving particle. As results, it was founded that in case of breakdown electric field of the GIS chamber, breakdown electric field of particle on electrode was the lowest, that of free moving particle was middle and that of particle on enclosure was the highest. And in case of the electric field analysis with particle locations, electric field of particle on electrode was the highest that of lifted particle was middle and that of particle on enclosure was the lowest. This results can offer a practical reference ra the insulation design of domestic GIS.

실버타운 입지를 위한 집수구역별 일사량 비교평가 (Comparative Evaluation of Catchment-wide Solar Radiation to Locate Silver-town)

  • It is usual to determine silver-town location by people's experienced knowledge or intuition considering many different type of thematic variables simultaneously. This paper is primarily intended to locate sunny silver-town according to catchment-wide solar radiation as single key variable. GIS based solar simulation realistically identified catchment-wide solar radiation in the study area using large scale spatial precision. More than 90% over the worst catchment were identified shadow surfaces while the optimal catchment was heavily covered by sunny radiation surfaces. It is confirmed that standard GIS technology can offers the viable method of measuring and comparing the catchment-wide solar radiation. Guidelines for a replicable methodology are presented to provide a strong theoretical basis for the standardization of factors involved in locating the sunny silver-town; delineation of catchment boundary, solar simulation, catchment-wide comparison etc. They could be used as an evidence to determine sunny catchment in comparison with other catchment, based solar simulation. It is anticipated that this research output could be used as a valuable reference to confirm the potential of introducing the new concept of "catchment specific solar radiation" to support more scientific and objective decision-making in the process of locating silver town.

GIS기반 적지분석을 통한 조류-양수 융합발전시스템 설치후보지 도출 연구 (Derivation of Candidate Sites for a Tidal Current-Pumped Storage Hybrid Power Plant Using GIS-based Site Selection Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 GIS기반 적지분석을 적용하여 조류-양수 융합발전시설의 설치후보지역을 도출하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 연구대상지역은 진도 일대 서남해 해역이며, 융합발전시설의 설계 및 설치 특성을 고려하여 적지분석을 위한 고려인자를 도출하였다. MOHID(Modelo HIDrodin?mico)를 이용하여 조류 수치모의를 수행하였고, 모의 결과를 공간자료로 변환하였다. 이후 본 연구에서는 제안하는 GIS기반 중첩분석 방법을 적용하여 설치후보지역을 도출하였다. 연구 결과에서 총 10개 지역이 후보지역으로 도출되었으며, 이 중 진도, 성남도, 하조도가 상대적으로 넓은 해역에 대해 조류-양수 발전기 설치가 가능한 것으로 판단되었다.

  • GIS is a typical power equipment with higher reliability. It is compact and safe because all the energized parts are enclosed by a sealed cylindrical tank which is filled with $SF_6$. Generally gas insulated power equipments like GIS are designed to have sufficient electrical strength to prevent partial discharges under normal operating condition. Despite of the careful processes in manufacturing, transporting and assembling, voids or particles can be created, resulting in partial discharges at electrically weak points. The key factors causing partial discharges in GIS are; particles, voids in solid insulation, protrusions, poor contact of metal components, etc. The particle can be attached on; spacers, electrodes, internal wall of the GIS tank. It also moves in GIS freely. Most of partial discharges are likely to occur when particles are attached to spacers. In this paper, the electrical characteristics of a surface discharge were investigated under various conditions by using simulation program of FEMLAB.

  • 최근 신재생에너지 자원에 대한 사회적인 관심 증대와 맞물려 IT(Information Technology) 기술과 공간정보기술의 급속한 발전에 따라 신재생에너지 분야에서도 GIS(Geographic Information System) 공간정보 분석 기술과의 융합을 통하여 체계적이고 과학적인 활용 방법들이 많이 연구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 정확한 지형, 경제, 문화적 환경 요소들을 종합적으로 고려한 정확하고 정밀한 풍력에너지 시설물 적지분석 시스템 모듈 개발과 동시에 3차원 GIS 등과 같은 최신 공간 정보기술을 활용하여 정밀한 현장정보 구현과 3차원 결과물 표출, 3차원 객체 구현, 모의 등 풍력 신재생에너지 관련 종합정보를 관리할 수 있는 3차원 Web GIS 기반 풍력에너지 시설물 적지분석 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 통하여 과학적인 신재생에너지 시설물 단지 조성과 함께 정확하고 정량적인 정보 수집, 관리, 분석이 가능할 뿐만 아니라 실시간 정보제공체계 구축의 전환점을 마련할 수 있었으며 3차원 영상기반 신재생에너지 자원정보 관리시스템 구축을 통한 다양한 현장정보 분석이 가능함으로써 합리적 의사결정 지원을 할 수 있게 되었다.

조선소 야드 블록 물류 시뮬레이션을 위한 GIS 정보 체계 연구 (A Study on GIS Information System for Shipbuilding Yard Block Logistics Simulation)

  • These days, geographic information system has released in everyday life and industries. However, the shipyard only uses it to manage the layout of the yard. In this study, we apply the Geographic Information System to shipbuilding block logistics simulation to analyse the behavior of bogies and forklifts carrying blocks and materials in the shipyard. The shipyard manages daily block logistics plans at the execution planning stage. However, since it is a daily plan, it is difficult to respond to an unexpected situation immediately, and application to judge a certain value or higher value is insufficient. Therefore, a simulation model was created using the shape and attribute information inherent in the geographic information system to verify and improve the block logistics of the mid-and long-term yards. Through this simulation model, we will analyse loads on the workplace, stockyard, and road, and contribute to overall logistics improvement from the point of view of resource planning. In addition, the results of the simulation are reflected in the planning, to help support various decisions.

의사결정지원기법을 이용한 농촌유역 통합 수질관리모형의 개발 (Development of Integrated Water Quality Management Model for Rural Basins using Decision Support System.)

  • A decision support system DSS-WQMRA (Decision Support System-Water Quality Management in Rural Area) was developed to help regional planners for the water quality management in a rural basin. The integrated model DSS-WQMRA, written in JAVA, includes four subsystems such as a GIS, a database, water quality simulation models and a decision model. In the system, the GIS deals with landuse and the location of pollutant sources. The database manages each data and supplies input data for various water quality simulation models. the water quality simulation model is composed of the GWLF( Generalized Watershed Loading Function), PCLM(Pollutant Loading Calculation Module) and the WASP5 model. The decision model based on mixed integer programming is designed to determine optimal costs and thus allow the selection of managemental practices to meet the water quality criteria. The methodology was tested with an example application in the Bokha River Basin, Kyunggi Province in Korea. It was proved that the integrated model DSS-WQMRA could be very useful for water quality management including the non-point source pollution in rural areas.
