GIS를 활용한 지하수 보전지역 설정에 관한 연구

  • GIS의 공간분석 기법을 이용하여 지하수가 집중적으로 개발.이용되고 있는 지역을 지하수 보전구역으로 설정하기 위한 연구를 제주도를 대상으로 실시하였다. 제주도 전역을 250 $\times$ 250m 간격으로 그리드를 작성한 후 각 그리드 격자점을 중심으로 반경 500m 내의 지하수 관정밀도, 지하수 이용량 및 개발량을 GIS 공간분석 기법을 활용해 분석하였다. 그 후 지하수 관정 밀도, 지하수 개발량, 이용량을 전체 자료 분포를 고려해 일정 구간으로 구분하고, 그 각각에 대해 계급값을 부여한 후, 3개 인자에 대한 계급값을 이용하여 중첩분석한 결과, 반경 500m 내의 지하수 관정밀도 평균 4공 이상, 지하수 개발량 평균 1,352m$^3$/일 이상, 지하수 이용량 평균 1,138m$^3$/일 이상 되는 지역을 지하수 보전구역으로 지정해 관리하는 것이 타당하다는 결론을 얻었다.

  • Fire stations should be located in optimal location to act quickly in case of emergency and minimize damages as a public facility that protects life and property of local residents. Siting fire stations without regard for the accessibility and occurrence factors of an accident may provide fire service unequally. Therefore service analysis is necessary to reduce the blind spot of disaster and safety and to offer equal fire-service at this time. Especially fire stations can service more efficiently than before by reducing a more likely vulnerable area. This study suggests methods of mapping index of value that represents vulnerability of the occurrence of an accident and extracting service zone map of fire stations, as an initial research for offering efficient fire service. Geographical distribution mismatch between service zone map and vulnerability map is figured out and vulnerable area for fire service is defined by using map overlay method.

  • 우리나라는 최근 여름철 태풍 및 집중호우로 인해 많은 토석류 및 산사태가 발생하고 있다. 작년 7월에도 집중호우로 인해 서울시 우면산 일대와 강원도 춘천에 많은 인적 물적 피해를 입었다. 해마다 반복되는 토석류나 산사태의 위험을 감소시키기 위해서는 보다 정확한 위험지역 예측모델을 필요로 한다. 본 연구는 토석류 및 산사태의 위험과 취약지역을 예측하기 위하여 GIS기반의 Weight of Evidence 기법을 적용하여 위험지역을 분석 하고자 한다. 2006년 태풍 에위니아에 의해 많은 토석류 피해를 입은 강원도 인제군 가리산일대를 대상으로 하였으며 토석류 및 산사태 위치 자료는 2005년, 2006년 토석류 발생 전후 항공사진의 중첩분석을 토대로 발생 지역을 추출하였다. 토석류 및 산사태발생에 영향을 미치는 지형, 지질, 토양, 수문, 임상 등의 인자들은 GIS를 이용하여 DB로 구축하였다. 베이시안 확률기법(Bayesian Method)에 기반 하여 구축된 DB와 결합하여 각각의 인자의 가중 값 W+, W-를 계산하여 상관관계를 분석하고 Weight of Evidence 기법을 적용하여 위험지역을 정량적으로 평가하고자 한다.

  • In mid-July, 2006 the torrential rainfall across Gangwon-do region caused 48 casualties and 1,248 houses submerged, resulting in damages with the restoration costs of 3 trillion and 512.5 billion won. This was because the topographic characteristics of Gangwon-do region for which mountainous areas mostly account increased the effects of landslide. In this study, the landslide region was shot using the PKNU No.4 system immediately after the occurrence of landslide in order to analyze it as objectively, exactly, and rapidly as possible. 1,054 areas with landslide occurrence were extracted by digitizing the shot images through visual reading after orthometric correction using ERDAS 9.1. Using the Arc GIS 9.2, a GIS program, hydrologic, topographic, clinical, geologic, pedologic aspects and characteristics of the landslide region were established in database through overlay analysis of digital map, vegetation map, geologic map, and soil map, and the status and characteristics of the occurrence of the landslide were analyzed.

  • The aim of this study is to analyze relationships between topography/geology which affects physically groundwater regime and groundwater yield properties in Pohang City using Geographic Information System (GIS). For the purpose, topographic factors such as ground elevation, ground elevation difference, ground slope, and ground regional slope, and hydrogeologic unit, and groundwater yield properties factors such as transmissivity, specific capacity, and well yield, were constructed to spatial data base. Then the relationships between topography, geology and groundwater yield properties were analyzed quantitatively using GIS overlay technique. As the results, ground-water yield of unconsolidated sediments and porous volcanic rocks is the highest among the hydrogeologic units of study area, and clastic sedimentary rock is the lowest. There are positive relationship between the elevation and elevation difference and the groundwater yield properties and negative relationship between the topographic slope and the groundwater yield properties.

  • This study aimed to determine candidate areas for tidal current-pumped storage hybrid power plants using GIS-based site selection analysis. The study area is the southwestern sea surrounding Jindo Island in South Korea. Factors to be considered for the site selection analysis were derived considering the design and installation characteristics of the hybrid power plant. Numerical simulation to predict tidal speed was performed using the MOHID(Modelo HIDrodin?mico) and the results were converted into spatial data. Subsequently, a GIS-based overlay analysis method proposed in this study was applied to derive the installation candidate area. A total of 10 regions were identified as candidate sites. Among them, it was determined that the power generator could be installed in relatively wide sea areas in Jindo, Seongnamdo, and Hajodo.

Preliminary Research on Prediction of Pottery Site Distribution based on Overlay Analysis Method of Geographic Information System (GIS 중첩분석을 이용한 요지유적 분포 예측의 시범연구)

  • Geographic Information System(GIS) is useful to preserve cultural heritage and land use management using both spatial information management technique and spatial analysis function in cultural heritage management. The purpose of this study is to build a database of pottery and kiln sites in South Korea, to analyze site locations and finally to make prediction model. The locations of 1,200 sites are put into GIS database. Such factor elevation, slope angle, aspect, horizontal/vertical distance from the nearest water are analyzed. Each factor was statistically analyzed on GIS and represented to rank 1-5. Pottery/kiln can be predicted by the spatial analysis function in overlay methods. As a result of this study, preliminary application of prediction model shows that the high potential area is between the slope and alluvial plain. Field survey in the Sungbuk-dong in Daejeon city supports the preliminary result. More data can make improve efficient prediction model in unknown areas.

  • In case of topographic information construction it is most important as basemap determines the success or failure of GIS It is argument that digitizing works of basemap are divided by NGIS and PBLIS. So, it have to accompany the combination and application of cadastral information for constructing a usful basemap. In this study, we generated ortho image map using 1:5,000 aerial-photography image, present the comparative analysis for the overlay accuracy and map revision of topographic and cadastral information using ortho image map to base map. So, we present application schemes for land use, environment, and city planning field as well as union database by overlaying of image map and cadastral information.

  • This study analyzes the interrelationship with air pollution quality and land used patterns, and analyzes the history and optimal allocation of TMS using GIS. Seasonal air pollution map are maded of TMS data in study area, and land used patterns based on Land Cover Classification Map are reclassified as residential area, commercial area, industrial area, traffic concentrated area, and non-Polluted area. Pollution sources can be identified through analyzing the correlation of air pollution and land used patterns by GIS spatial overlaying technique. Hence, the result shows that it coincides with the characteristics of conventional air pollution. Air pollution quality measured by TMS shows similar to that of its near stations or the same land used patterns, through the history and allocation analysis of TMS. Therefore, it is need to consider these characteristics in setting TMS positions in the future.

  • 최근 발생하고 있는 국지성 집중호우 및 돌발홍수로 인해 강원도와 경상북도 등을 중심으로 산지하천유역의 산사태 피해가 급증하고 있으며 발생면적은 연평균 402ha에 이르며 연평균 피해면적은 80년대에 비해 2000년대 들어 3배 이상 증가한 것으로 보고 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 산지하천 유역의 토사유출재해 취약성 분석을 위해 GEOMania GMMap 기반으로 구동되는 산사태 분석모듈(HyGIS-Landslide)을 개발하였다 HyGIS-Landslide는 산림청의 산사태 위험지도 제작에 사용된 위험지역 평가기준을 참조하였으며 DEM을 이용하여 경사인자 및 사면인자를 생성하고 수치지질도, 수치임상도 산림입지도 등과의 연산을 통해 위험등급에 대한 분류결과를 제시한다. 또한, 과거 산사태 발생지역에 대한 맵핑 경과가 존재하는 경우 산사태 위험지역 분류결과를 과거 사상과 중첩하여 분류정확도를 확인할 수 있도록 제작되었다.
