Module-based WebGIS platform for spatial information sharing system (공간정보 공유체계를 위한 모듈기반 WebGIS 플랫폼 연구)

  • Currently Spatial Data is collected and processed in various methods, and its usability is very high. However, the existing Spatial Data analysis Software usually requires professional knowledge in the collection, refinement, and application of spatial Date, making it difficult to access and apply it. Therefore, this study established a new WebGIS platform with improved accessibility and usability to solve these problems. This platform supports various services such as master map sharing, spatial data generation, automatic coordinate system conversion, WMS issuance, grid generation, and grid analysis. These services increase operational convenience, such as simplifying repetitive tasks and automatically expressing text files. While it is believed that non-experts can easily and conveniently because of them to simplify and express the results. In addition, it is judged to have high accuracy and reliability compared to the analysis results using the existing Open Source-based GIS software.

  • 국가GIS사업 및 관련사업을 통해 다양한 지리정보가 생산되었으며, 다양한 분야의 사용자에 의해 구축 활용되는 지리정보의 특성에 따라 전국에 분포되어 관리되고 있다. 이러한 지리정보가 사장되지 않고 목적에 맞게 효율적으로 활용되기 위해서는 다양한 콘텐츠 확보가 이기종간 공동활용이 선행될 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 서로 다른 시스템 환경에서 지리정보를 연계하여 활용할 수 있도록 카탈로그 모듈, 브로커 모듈, 맵브라우저 모듈, 지리정보등록 모듈 등을 구현하고 Informix, Oracle, GMS, ZEUS 등 여러 가지 조합이 도출될 수 있는 시스템을 대상으로 검증실험을 하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 모듈을 적용하여 데이터 연계의 제약조건인 DMBS, 공간DBMS 영향을 최소화함으로써 지리정보공유 활성화에 기여할 수 있다.

Study on GIS based Automatic Delineation Method of Accurate Stream Centerline for Water Quality Modeling (GIS기반의 수질모델링 지원을 위한 정확도 높은 하천중심선의 자동 추출기법에 관한 연구)

  • For implementing TMDL(Total Maximum Daily Loading) to adopt more effective management of water pollution, water quality modeling is pre-requisite and such modeling requires the extraction of stream centerline. The institutes responsible for the water quality modeling, however, generates the stream centerline with their own criteria and this lead to low accuracy of the extracted centerline as well as different modeling results for the same watershed. Therefore, this study mainly focused on the development of extraction method of the stream centerline. For that, an automated method has been developed through the integration of the centerline extraction method using a maximum inscribed circle with GIS. The result has shown that the newly developed method could enable to represent more details of the stream topography along with enhanced accuracy compared with conventional extraction method. Furthermore, the new method can afford centerline extraction for the island areas which has been the limitation of the conventional method thereby supporting water quality modeling in a detailed level.

A Study on the Development of GIS Based Water Quality Simulation System using HSPF in Basin of Yeong-san River (HSPF 모델을 적용한 GIS기반의 영산강 유역 수질모의 시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The basin environment has been seriously damaged by reckless development during the past half century. The demand for management in the basin has increased, but the system for prediction and management is not sufficient. Therefore, the aim of this study is to design a GIS-based water quality linkage system using the most suitable simulation, HSPF (Hydrological Simulation Program-Fortran) in this basin of South Korea. To achieve this, data of HSPF model for simulation and GIS data for spatial analysis is collected. And the system applied linkages of the water quality model and GIS such as Loose coupling. Also, the major function of the system was designed as a modular unit. Ultimately, the system is developed using development language of VB.NET from Microsoft and ArcObjects component from ESRI based on design for a module unit. The water quality simulation system can be supported to prediction and management for basin environment of Yeong-San River. In the future study, scenario will be established using the result of HSPF model And will be expected to support to situation of future basin and policy making.

  • Because the complexity in the development phase of geographic information system, its hard to change its operation or user interface after the development. So we should develop most part of the applied GIS even though previous GIS is almost exist. In other words, reusing the previous system is not easy. Therefore, its required to research reusable GIS for easy construction of applied GIS. This thesis describes design and implementation of web GIS framework which makes applied web GIS development more easy. Framework is software library composed of reusable units such like classes and objects. Proposed web GIS framework Provides basic web GIS functionalities and execution design to web GIS developers. They could extend the framework to build applied web GIS with applied operation and user interface. The development of applied web GIS could be archived by various tools used for general web application development.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 분포형 추문모형에 있어 공간변수의 디테일함을 고려하기 위해 GIS와 결합된 SCS-CN 값 산정 모형을 개하는데 있다. 모형은 (주)한국공간정보통신의 GIS 소프트웨어 개발도구인 IntraMap/Objects를 사용하였고 마이크로소프트사의 닷넷 플랫폼 개발 언어인 C#으로 개발하였다. 모형의 입력자료인 토지이용도와 토양도의 지형학적 가공을 위해 클립(Clip), 디졸브(Dissolve), 인터섹션(Intersection)과 같은 지형전처리 모듈(GeoPreprocessing Module)을 개발하였다. 또한 전처리된 토지이용도(토지이용항목필드)와 토양도(추문학적 토양그룹필드)를 CN 값 기준도표에 매치시킴으로서 유역의 선행토양함수조건에 따른 분포형 CN 값 및 개략적인 유출량을 산정하는 모형을 개발하였다. 본 연구의 모형은 지형, 토양도 토지이용도, 토지피복도 변화에 따른 미래 유출량을 예측하는데 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

Effective 3D Inner Model Visualization for GIS Web Service (GIS 표준 웹 서비스 적용을 위한 3차원 실내모델의 효율적 시각화)

  • The inner space of building is increasingly becoming complex as urban activities increase in variety, and the actual space size also increases. This trend necessitate the utilization of three dimensional position information within the inner space of buildings. Standard GIS web service technology and visualization technology are applied to 3D inner space building data to share these information for better decision making in building related applications such as fire evacuation, facilities management and market analysis. This study aims to effectively model and visualize the three dimensional space of building interiors in the GIS aspect, and to be able to share the information through standard GIS web service. The various elements of inner model was assigned and stored into pre-designed spatial database tables respectively. GIS web server was then configured to service the database which was populated with 3D inner model data. On the client side, 3D visualization modules was developed using a 3D graphic rendering S/W engine.

  • 최근 무선 인터넷 및 다양한 콘텐츠들을 지원할 수 있는 PDA 장비들이 개발되고 있으며, 향후 무선통신분야에서 많은 연구 개발이 필요하다. 또한 PDA 기반의 지리정보시스템에 대한 개발 제품들은 많이 있지만, 아직 개선되어야 할 기능들이 많이 있다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 PDA 환경에 적합한 경량화된 제이미 수치지도 포맷을 새롭게 제안하고, 이를 Win/CE기반에 디스플레이할 수 있는 GIS 라이브러리를 구현하였다. 현재는 GPS 장비와 개발된 GIS 도구들을 통합하여 PDA 환경에서 지도출력이 가능하며, 속도와 다양한 기능들에 대한 추가 개발을 진행하고 있다.

  • Recently , as GIS technology is rapidly improved and stabilized, there are some needs to reuse pre-developed and powerful GIS technology. GIS standardization based on components and open interfaces becomes a way to solve those reusability of previous GIS technology. This GIS standardization currently focuses on building the GIS Data Infrastructure that is being deployed globally. Especially, OpenGIS consortium which is mainly made up of international GIS leading vendors is announcing some GIS abstract specifications and implementation specifications. This study focuses on how could we design and implement the OLE/COM-based data provider component based on various DBMS or file systems, how could these data provider components be used for enterprise UIS(Urban Information Systems) and how could various formatted GIS data be shared in one system. Also some problems practically caused by an implementation process of data provider component are listed up and some solutions are given. Furthermore, design and analysis of UML(Unified Modeling Language) was reformed through the data provider component development task and this UML methodology is able to indicate a standardized model for newly developed data provider component.
