The results of combustion performance test of fuel-rich gas generator(GG) using LOx and kerosene as propellant at design and off-design point are described. The parameters used in this analysis are the average exit temperature($T_{GG}$) and the characteristic velocity($C^{\ast}$). The average gas temperature at the exit of gas generator is found to be a function of propellant O/F ratio. For the gas generator having residence time of 4msec or more, the effect of flame residence time and combustion chamber pressure on the exit temperature is not significant. The exit characteristic velocity is found to be linearly proportional to the gas temperature at the exit of gas generator.

This dissertation aims at studying how 'the 28 Lunar Mansions' was applied to the Oriental medicine(韓醫學) and was set up as one of the most important theories of Oriental medicine. This study especially examines how 'the 28 Lunar Mansions' has influenced Oriental medicine focusing on the exploration of "The Huang Di Nei Jing, the Inner Classic of the Yellow Emperor ${\ll}$黃帝內經${\gg}$" and "Lei Jing ${\ll}$類經${\gg}$". Through that examination, there came some findings as follow.

In ${\ll}$The Method${\gg}$, Archimedes presented the famous heuristic technique for calculating areas, volumes and centers of gravity of various plane and solid figures, utilizing the law of the lever. In that treatise, Archimedes used the fact that the center of gravity of a cone lies one-quarter of the way from the center of the base to the vertex, but the proof of this is not extant in his works. This study analyzes the propositions and their relations of ${\ll}$The Method${\gg}$ focusing on the procedural characteristics of the 'method' of Archimedes. According to the result of that analysis, this study discusses the likely approach which was taken for Archimedes to find out the center of gravity of a cone.

본 논문에서는 "황제내경"의 체질 관련 내용에 대하여, 음양(陰陽) 이론을 바탕으로 생리, 심리, 기질, 성격, 행위, 질병, 방약조리 등의 조건에 대하여 태양인, 소양인, 태음인, 소음인, 음양화평지인 각각의 특질을 분류하고 설명하였다. 이러한 연구는 사람의 다섯 가지 체질 패턴에 대하여 표준을 제시하는데 도움을 줄 것이며 현대인의 체질적 차이를 설명하는데 이론적 방향을 제시할 것이라 생각한다. 또한, 본 논문의 주요 의미는 "황제내경"의 체질 관련 내용을 기존의 체질학설로 설명한 것이 아니라, "황제내경"이 담고 있는 근본 이론인 음양오행론(陰陽五行論) 중에서 주로 음양론(陰陽論)을 바탕으로 분석한데 있다. 체질에 대한 음양적인 분석은 향후 체질학을 연구하는데 많은 도움을 줄뿐만 아니라, 전통적인 음양론(陰陽論)의 관점에서 체질을 다시 해석해 봄으로써 그 응용 범위를 넓힐 수 있고, 또한 임상에서 방약(方藥)을 사용하여 치료하는데 실제적인 도움을 줄 것으로 생각된다.

본 논문에서는 중의학에 나오는 중국어 문법을 토대로 문헌자료를 분석하는 방법을 사용하여, "상한론"에 나오는 '이(而)'자(字)의 용법을 분류하고 조문별로 해석해 보았다. 우선 기존에 분류된 '이(而)'자(字)의 용법을 기준으로 하여, "상한론"의 조문 중에서 '이(而)'자(字)를 포함하고 있는 것을 모두 취합한 뒤 이를 분류하였고 주요 조문을 첨부하여 참고하도록 하였다. 향후 이러한 언어학적인 연구들은 장중경 "상한론"의 의미를 보다 정확하게 파악하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Cytotoxic test was performed by SRB assay on human epidermoid carcinoma HEp-2 cell line for screening the soil microorganism, secreting anticancer agent. One microorganism was selected among two thousand microorganisms for its highest cytotoxicity. And this microorganism was identified with Streptomyces species after performing of diaminopimeric acid and reducing sugar analysis of cell wall and analysing the cultural characteristics and named Streptomyces sp. SM 1119. The effect of anticancer agent in SM 1119 culture extract on the cell cycle was studied by using GG$_{o}$ synchronized NIH 3T3 cells. The extract inhibited the serum stimulation of GG$_{o}$ NIH 3T3 cell only within 1 hour after serum stimulation but not after 6 hours. The extract also reduced the amount of c-myc mRNA in Colo 320 cell. These results suggest that the anticancer agent in the extract inhibits the progression of cell cycle very early stages, probably from G$_{0}$ to G$_{1}$.
