In the semiconductor equipment industry, the SECS/GEM protocol has been recognized as the communication standard, but in our 300mm wafer aligner being developed, this capability has not been equipped yet. In this study, we present the realization of SECS-I, SECS-II and HSMS communication protocol between factory host computer and wafer aligner. Its validity is shown in actual test environment.

This paper describes implemation of 'General-purpose ETRI MAP interface module' (GEM) for Mini-MAP network. GEM operates as a Mini-MAP node in our FA system. To communicate between GEM and programmable devices(PD) such as PLC and CNC, serial communication is used. Application programs of a MiNi-MAP host system control and monitor programmable devices via GEM. GEM is implemented and tested on the basis of the MAP 3.0. TBC in the Nini-MAP board performs the function of the MAC sublayer. The LLC sublayer is implemented according to the specification of Class 3 that includes Type 1 and 3. And the MMS services are designed within the scope of implementation class MAP3. All the softwares are implemented under the real-time multitask OS for real-time application of the Mini-MAP and they are loaded into PROMs at the network board of GEM. We tested the LLC functions to make use of a protocol analyzer for the token-passing protocol. Also the MMS conformance test was carried out by exchanging primitives between GEM and a MMS product that had already passed the conformance test. Therefore GEM is proposed as a network tool of Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) to integrate PDs which don't support MAP functions.

This paper presents an enhanced web-based distributed system with Single Access Object Protocol(SOAP), which uses HTTP as a communication protocol and XML as a data presentation. The suggested system is applied into a Generic Equipment Model (GEM) for exchanging specified messages(SECS-II), which are encoded into XML presentation, between Equipment and Host via the web sorrel. In this paper, the designed system architecture and its soap components are presented.

This study is designed integration and control system of GaAs bonding system consisted of multi-processing using DeviceNet and GEM-Protocol. Developing bonding system is composed of resin coating, pre-baking pre-aligner, bonding, material handler(flip robot), and wafer cassette, etc. This system has process-fluent of each a process and share information using GEM-protocol. This study devised virtual bonding simulator to control and to monitor bonding system efficiently. Also we can verify optimizing of system previously through a virtual bonding simulator.

G-PON은 FTTH를 효율적으로 구현하는 한 방편이며 이더넷, IP 패킷, TDM 신호 등을 수용할 수 있는 GEM 프레임을 가지고 있다. 그 중에서도 이더넷은 캠퍼스 가입자 액세스, 캐리어 서비스에 있어서 가장 널리 사용되는 제 2 계층 프로토콜이므로 G-PON 시스템은 이더넷 인터페이스를 우선적으로 제공해 주어야 한다. 본 논문은 G-PON TC 칩에서 이더넷 프로토콜을 수용하기 위해 ITU-T G984.3에서 제시한 Ethernet over GEM 규격을 바탕으로 기가급의 이더넷 정합기를 구현한다. 정합기는 각각의 이더넷 프레임을 하나 또는 여러 개의 GEM 프레임에 매핑하고 GEM 헤더 생성, 프레임의 캡슐화, 분할 및 재조립 기능을 가진다. 특히, 구현된 정합기는 규격에는 없지만 중요한 기능인 MAC 주소를 논리적 연결을 확인하는데 역할을 하는 port-ID로 바꾸어 주는 변환기를 내장하고 있다. 이 정합기는 FPGA로 구현되며 논리분석기와 이더넷 분석기를 이용하여 프레임 분할과 조립, 주소 학습 기능과 처리율 등을 확인한다.

Compound semiconductor manufacturing environment also has been emerged as mass customization and open foundry service so integrated manufacturing system is needed. In this study, we design data acquisition system of compound semiconductor fabrication that has monitoring and control of process. The developed DAS is consisted of key-in system inputted by operator and automatic acquisition system by GEM protocol. And we implemented them in the actual compound semiconductor. It is expected that using developed system would offer precise process information to buyer, reduce a lead-time, and obey a due-dates and so on.

우유에 포함된 Salmonella enteritidis를 효과적으로 분리하는 방법을 찾고 이를 이용하여 우유속의 S. enteritidis의 량을 추정하는 방법을 개발하였다. 일정량의 S. enteritidis를 접종한 우유로부터 guanidine thiocyanate/phenol/chloroform을 이용하여 DNA를 추출한 후 중합효소반응으로 S. enteritidis 섬모항원 유전자를 선택적으로 검출함으로써 우유 1ml당 200 colony forming unit까지 검출이 가능하였고 전체 과정의 수행에 단지 5시간 정도 걸렸다. S. enteritidis 섬모항원 유전자를 cloning한 pGem-4-Sef B(-) DNA와 인위적으로 접종된 우유로부터 추출한 Salmonella DNA를 함께 중합효소반응으로 증폭한 후 제한효소로 잘라 전기영동을 행하여 band의 강도를 비교함으로써 Salmonella DNA copy수를 추정하는 것이 가능하였다.

Genes encoding the cellobiohydrolase enzyme (CBHI), designated as cbhI, were isolated from the basidiomycetes Auricularia fuscosuccinea, Pleurotus giganteus, P. eryngii, P. ostreatus, and P. sajor-caju. Initially, the fungal genomic DNA was extracted using a modified cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) protocol and used as a DNA template. The cbhI genes were then amplified and cloned using the pGEM-T Easy Vector Systems. The sizes of these PCR amplicons were between 700~800 bp. The DNA sequences obtained were similar showing high identity to the cbhI gene family. These cbhI genes were partial consisting of three coding regions and two introns. The deduced amino acid sequences exhibited significant similarity to those of fungal CBHI enzymes belonging to glycosyl hydrolase family 7.

As computer-related technologies have been developed, legacy design systems have not been appropriate far new computing environment. It is necessary that most of them are either modified or newly developed. However, these activities require quite much amount of cost and time. This paper presents a method of extending legacy design systems to the internet without any modification using XML and XSLT. We have been extended legacy systems in the two viewpoints. First, an XML document has been defined to present the input information of a legacy system which is executed on the consol environment - MS DOS, for example. Also, an XSLT document has been generated to transform an XML document to the input document of the legacy system An XML document is transformed to the input document by XSLT processor according to the transformation rules defined in the XSLT document. This technique to generate input documents is independent to the platform type and facilitates to link legacy systems to other systems. Second, a legacy system controller has been made to control a legacy system and developed a web service to extend it and its controller. The legacy system controller operates it automatically. The web service provides its functions to other systems via internet. We have applied the developed methodologies to the legacy gear design system 조ich calculates AGMA gear rating md made AGMA gem rating web service.

현재 cdma2000 In 및 1xEV-DO 이동통신망을 통해 패킷 데이터 서비스가 제공되고 있으며, 보다 높은 대역폭의 서비스에 대한 사용자 욕구를 만족시키기 위해 휴대 인터넷 서비스에 대한 표준화가 추진되고 있다. 그런데, 휴대 인터넷은 고속의 데이터 서비스는 가능하나, 서비스 커버리지가 상대적으로 작다. 따라서, cdma2000 이동통신망과 효율적으로 연동하여 서비스를 제공한다면, 사용자는 서비스 지역에 따라 최적의 서비스를 받을 수 있음은 물론, 이동시 연속적이고 끊김 없는 데이터 서비스를 이용할 수 있고, 사업자는 망 구축비용 및 운용비용 절감을 얻을 수 있다. 이를 위해, 본 논문에서는 기존의 cdma2000 이동통신망과 휴대 인터넷의 효율적인 연동망 구조, 각 노드의 동작, 노드간 프로토콜 구조 및 인터페이스 등 세부적인 연동 방안을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 연동 방안은 밀결합 연동 구조로 인해 통합된 사용자 인증 및 과금을 수행하기 용이하며, 끊김없는 연속적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 또한, 기존 cdma2000 이동통신망의 수정 또는 추가 구현 없이 개발 가능하며, cdma2000 및 휴대 인터넷 서비스를 동시에 제공하는 이중 모드 단말의 구현시에도 복잡도가 최소화된다. cdma2000 이동통신망과 휴대 인터넷간의 핸드오프 성능 모델에 기반한 실험을 수행한 결과 본 논문에서 제안한 방안은 패킷 손실 측면에서 매우 우수함이 검증된다.
