RF-CMOS소자의 온도에 따른 DC및 RF 특성 (Temperature Dependence of DC and RF characteristics of CMOS Devices)

  • 본 연구에서는 온도의 증가에 따른 RF-CMOS의 g/sub m/과 f/sub T/ 및 f/sub max/의 감소를 측정하였다. RF응용에서 MOS소자는 포화영역에서 동작되므로 모든 측정바이어스에서 온도에 따른 g/sub m/특성 변화를 실험적인 관계식으로 모델링하였다. CMOS의 f/sub T/와f/sub max/는 g/sub m/에 비례하기 때문에 온도에 따른f/sub T/ 및 f/sub max/ 변화도 온도에 따른 g/sub m/관계식으로부터 구할 수 있었다. 그리고 온도 증가에 따른fт와f/sub max/ 감소는 대부분 g/sub m/ 감소에 기인되며 DC와 RF특성 상관관계로부터 저온에서는f/sub T/와f/sub max/가 크게 증가됨을 예견할 수 있었다.

한우 HGD 유전자내 변이지역과 경제형질간의 연관성 분석 (Identification of a SNP in Cattle HGD Gene with its Effect on Economic Trait in Hanwoo)

  • HGD (homogentisate1,2-dioxygenase)유전자는 소의 1번 염색체에 존재하며, tyrosine과 phenylalanine의 이화 작용을 돕는 효소 중 하나로 알려져 있다. 또한 소에서 도체중과 등심단면적에 영향을 주는 유전자로 보고된 바 있다. 본 연구는 한우 집단을 대상으로 HGD유전자내 변이지역을 탐색하고, 경제형질과의 연관성을 분석하기 위하여 실시하였다. 총 14개의 Exon지역을 바탕으로 변이지역을 탐색한 결과, 10개의 SNPs를 확인하였고, 이 중 genotype의 Frequency (MAF>0.1)를 고려하여 6개의 SNPs (G34256T, G34257C, T34284C, T42333G, T42348C, T42468C)를 발굴하여 경제형질과의 연관성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 G34256T에서 근내지방도와 유의적인 연관성이 확인되었고, G34257C에서 등심단면적과 근내지방도에서 유의적인 연관성이 확인되었다. 따라서 본 연구 결과에서 확인된 HGD 유전자의 SNP유전자형은 한우선발 및 개량을 위한 분자육종의 기초 자료로 이용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Comparison of Structural Types of L-Alanine Pentamer by Quantum Chemical Calculation

  • L-alanine (LA, as an amino acid residue) pentamer model was used to investigate changes in the dihedral angle, intramolecular hydrogen bonding and formation energies during structural optimization. LA pentamers having four conformation types [𝛽: 𝜑/𝜓=t-/t+, 𝛼: 𝜑/𝜓=g-/g-, PPII: 𝜑/𝜓=g-/t+ and P-like: 𝜑/𝜓= g-/g+] were carried out by quantum chemical calculations (QCC) [B3LYP/6-31G(d,p)]. In LA, 𝛽, 𝛼, and P-like types did not change by optimization, having an intra-molecular hydrogen bond: NH⋯OC (H-bond), and PPII types in the absence of H-bond were transformed into P-like at the designated 𝜓 of 140°, and to 𝛽 at that of 160° or 175°. P-like and 𝛼 were about 0.5 kcal/mol/mu more stable than 𝛽. In order to understand the processes of the transformations, the changes of 𝜑/𝜓, distances of NH-OC (dNH/CO) and formation energies (𝜟E, kcal/mol/mu) were examined.

  • In this study, Proline pentamer model was used to investigate change in the dihedral angle, intramolecular hydrogen bonding and formation energies during structural optimization. L-Proline (LP, as an imino acid residue) pentamers having four conformation types [β: φ/ψ=t−/t+, α: φ/ψ=g−/g−, PPII: φ/ψ=g−/t+ and Plike: φ/ψ= g−/g+] were carried out by QCC [B3LYP/6-31G(d,p)]. The optimized structure and formation energy were examined for designated structure. In LP, P-like and PPII types did not change by optimization, and β types were transformed into PPII having no H-bond independently of the designated ψ values. PPII was more stable than P-like by about 2.2 kcal/mol/mu. The hydrogen bond distances of d2(4-6) type H-bonds were 1.94 - 2.00Å. In order to understand the processes of the transformations, the changes of φ/ψ, distances of NH-OC (dNH/CO) and formation energies (ΔE, kcal/mol/mu) were examined.

  • 본 연구에서는 반도체 봉지제로 사용되는 상용 EMC중 가속제의 함량이 다른 두 종류의 프리프레그에 대하여 그 경화거동을 등온 및 승온조건에서 시차 주사 역량계, 점도계 및 유전율 측정계를 이용하여 분석하였다. 경화반응 속도변수는 Kamal의 자동촉매 반응식을 이용하여 m+n을 2로 가정한 후 Ryan Dutta의 방법에 따라 계산에 의한 경화반응 속도의 예측 치와 실제 실험 데이터가 10$0^{\circ}C$를 제외한 나머지 온도에서는 잘 일치하는 경향을 나타내었다. 경화과정 중 겔화와 유리화와 같은 상 전이를 관찰하였으며 각각의 등온 경화온도에서 경화시간에 따른 유리전이 온도 ($T_{g}$ )를 측정하여 경화온도와 유리전이 온도가 같아지는 유리화점을 구할 수 있었고 절대온도와의 사이에 Arrhenius관계가 성립함을 확인하였다. 또한 평판형 전극을 이용한 DEA는 EMC의 경화 과정을 동정하는데 효과적으로 이용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 같은 종류의 수지 시스템에서는 TTT diagram상에서 $_{gel}$$T_{g}$ 가속제의 농도에 상관없이 일정한 온도에서 나타남을 확인하였다.

Dehydration Kinetics of Rehmannia (Rehmannia glutinosa Liboschitz)

  • Sliced and whole root of rehmannia were dehydrated in a laboratory dryer at 40, 60, 80, and $100^{\circ}C$ to evaluate the kinetic parameters for dehydration of rehmannia. The drying curves of both samples were characterized by a falling-rate drying period only. Sliced rehmannia dried 1.1 to 3.1 times faster than whole root of rehmannia depending on drying temperature. Equilibrium moisture content (EMC) of rehmannia samples at the drying temperature tested were 0.069-0.078 g water/g dry solid, which was coincided with the monolayer moisture content (0.06 and 0.07 g water/g dry solid) evaluated from desorption isotherms using GAB (Guggenheim-Anderson-de Boer) model. A logarithmic model for thin layer drying was applied to evaluate the drying time to reach EMC ($t_{EMC}$) and drying constant (k). The effect of temperature on $1/t_{EMC}$ and k was described by the Arrhenius model with activation energy values of 32.56 and 47.14 kJ/mol determined using the former parameter, and 34.27 and 38.26 kJ/mol determined using the latter parameter for sliced and whole root of rehmannia, respectively.

  • Currently, as the public interest for environmental issues has grown rapidly, the needs for G-SEED have also increased. However, as investment according to eco-friendly elements is inevitable to receive G-SEED certification, it is necessary to find out whether or not the sales price of apartments have increased compared to investment costs. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the sales price of apartments according to G-SEED by using T-test. To achieve the objective, First, variables affecting on the sales price of apartments are selected. Second, the data are collected by using GIS(Geographic Information System). Third, after testing the normality, a comparison analysis is conducted on the sales price between G-SEED certified and non-certified apartments by using T-test. As a result, it is concluded that G-SEED certified apartments are more expensive than non-certified apartments. In the future, these findings can be utilized to develop of apartments price calculation model based on the G-SEED.

  • tRNA (m¹ G37) methyltransferase (TrmD) catalyze s the trans for of a methyl group from S-adenosyl-L-methionine (AdoMet) to G/sup 37/ within a subset of bacterial tRNA species, which have a residue G at 36th position. The modified guanosine is adjacent to and 3' of the anticodon and is essential for the maintenance of the correct reading frame during translation. We have determined the first crystal structure of TrmD from Haemophilus influenzae, as a binary complex with either AdoMet or S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine (AdoHcy), as a ternary complex with AdoHcy/phosphate, and as an apo form. The structure indicates that TrmD functions as a dimer (Figure 1). It also suggests the binding mode of G/sup 36/G/sup 37/ in the active site of TrmD and catalytic mechanism. The N-terminal domain has a trefoil knot, in which AdoMet or AdoHcy is bound in a novel, bent conformation. The C-terminal domain shows a structural similarity to DNA binding domain of trp or tot repressor. We propose a plausible model for the TrmD₂-tRNA₂ complex, which provides insights into recognition of the general tRNA structure by TrmD (Figure 2).

황금약침액(黃芩藥鍼液)이 신장조직(腎臟組織)에서 Oxidant에 의한 세포손상(細胞損傷)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effect of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi Aquacupuncture on Oxidant-induced Cell Injury in Renal Cortical Slices)

  • Objective : This study was undertaken to determine if Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi (SbG) extract exerts protective effect against oxidant-induced cell injury in renal proximal tubular cells. Methods : The cell injury was evaluated by lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release in rabbit renal cortical slices and lipid peroxidation was estimated by measuring malondialdehyde (MDA). t-Butylhydroperoxide (tBHP) was used as a model of oxidant. Results : tBHP at 1 mM increased LDH release and lipid peroxidation, which were prevented by SbG in a dose dependent manner over concentration range of 0.001-0.1%. SbG provided the protective effect against oxidant-induced reduction in PAH uptake by renal cortical slices and microsomal Na+-K+-ATPase activity. SbG attenuated tBHP-induced depletion of reduced glutathione. 0.2 mM $HgCl_2$ increased LDH release and lipid peroxidation, which were completely prevented by 0.05% SbG. Conclusion : SbG prevents oxidant-induced impairment in membrane transport function.

Evaluation of Loess Capability for Adsorption of Total Nitrogen (T-N) and Total Phosphorous (T-P) in Aqueous Solution

  • The aim of the present study is to explore the possibility of utilizing loess for the adsorption of total phosphorous (T-P) and total nitrogen (T-N) in water. Batch adsorption studies were performed to evaluate the influences of various factors like initial concentration, contact time and temperature on the adsorption of T-P and T-N. The adsorption data showed that loess is not effective for the adsorption of T-N. However, loess exhibited much higher adsorption capacity for T-P. At concentration of $1.0mgL^{-1}$, approximately 97% of T-P adsorption was achieved by loess. The equilibrium data were fitted well to the Langmuir isotherm model. The pseudo-second-order kinetic model appeared to be the better-fitting model because it has higher $R^2$ compared with the pseudo-first-order and intra-particle kinetic model. The theoretical adsorption equilibrium $q_{e,cal}$ from pseudo-second-order kinetic model was relatively similar to the experimental adsorption equilibrium $q_{e,exp}$. The thermodynamic parameters such as free energy ${\Delta}G$, the enthalpy ${\Delta}H$ and the entropy ${\Delta}S$ were also calculated.
