This paper describes the communication method of an auto-startup system. The Auto-Startup system is designed to operate a nuclear power plant automatically during the startup operation . In general , the operations during startup in existing plant have only been manually controlled by the operator. The manual operation caused to the operator mistake. The Auto-Startup system consists of the Distributed Control System(DCS) and G2 (Expert System). Also, Functional Test Facility(FTF) provides the plant's real-data for an Auto-Startup system. So, it is necessary to develop the communication method between these systems. We developed two methods ; one is a network and the other is a hardwire line. To communicate between these systems (DCS-G2 and DCS-FTF) , we developed the communication program. In case of DCS-FTF, we used the TCP/IP and VXI. BUt, in case of DCS-G2 , we , what it called , developed the bridge program using the GSI(G2 Standard Interface). We test to check the function of the important parameter, in time, for analysis of the developed communication method. The results are a good performance when we check the communication time of important parameter. We conclude that Auto-startup system could save heat-up time about at least 5 hours and reduced the change of the reactor operation and trip.

In this study installation diameter, interval, area replacement ratio and ground hardness of applicable ground in C.G.S method should be mastered through surrounding ground by conducting modeling. Optimum artificial neural network was selected through the study of the parameter of artificial neural network and prediction model was developed by the relationship with numerical analysis and artificial neural network. As this result, C.G.S pile settlement and ground settlement were found to be equal in terms of diameter, interval, area replacement ratio and ground hardness, presented in a single curve, which means that the behavior pattern of applied ground in C.G.S method was presented as some form, and based on such a result, learning the artificial neural network for 3D behavior was found to be possible. As the study results of artificial neural network internal factor, when using the number of neural in hidden layer 10, momentum constant 0.2 and learning rate 0.2, relationship between input and output was expressed properly. As a result of evaluating the ground behavior of C.G.S method which was applied to using such optimum structure of artificial neural network model, is that determination coefficient in case of C.G.S pile settlement was 0.8737, in case of ground settlement was 0.7339 and in case of ground heaving was 0.7212, sufficient reliability was known.

The alkylphenols, chlorophenols and bisphenol A were determined by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry-selected ion monitoring mode followed by three work-up methods for comparison; EPA method, isoBOC derivatization method and TBDMS derivatization method. Eleven phenols in water samples were extracted with dichloromethane. Also, solid-phase extraction (SPE) with XAD-4 and subsequent conversion to isobutoxycarbonyl derivatives or tert.-butyldimethylsilyl derivatives for sensitive analysis with the selected ion-monitoring (SIM) mode. The recoveries were 85.1~109.9% (EPA method) and 90.3~126.6% (isoBOC derivatization and TBDMS derivatization), respectively. The method detection limit of bisphenol A for SIM were 0.732 ${\mu}g/{\ell}$ (EPA method), 0.002 ${\mu}g/{\ell}$ (isoBOC derivatization) and 0.021 ${\mu}g/{\ell}$ (TBDMS derivatization). The SIM responses were linear with the correlation coefficient varying 0.9755~0.9981 (isoBOC derivatization), and 0.9908~0.9996 (TBDMS derivatization). When these methods were applied to treated wastewater sample from a polyethylene plant, the concentrations of 11 phenols were below the method detection limit.

In this paper, a new pitch beginning point detection method by extracting the G-peak, is proposed. By the speech production model, the area of the first peak on a pitch interval of speech signals is emphasized. By using the above characteristics, this method have more advantages than the others for pitch beginning point detection. The defective decision caused by an impulsive noise is minimized and the pre-filtering is not necessary for this method, because the integration of signals takes place in the process.
The purpose of this study is to establish an extraction and analysis method for $\alpha$-tocopherol, and to then distinguish among varieties. The $\alpha$-tocopherol contents of 22 varieties of peanut seeds were analyzed by HPLC. Peanut seeds of cv. Palkwang were processed in two ways, by boiling and roasting. The $\alpha$-tocopherol contents of the two types of peanuts were compared with fresh seeds without any processing. $\alpha$-Tocopherol was detected at a retention time of 2.95 minutes. Five standards of $\alpha$-tocopherol covering a range of $20{\sim}100{\mu}g/ml$ were made up in 2% isopropyl alcohol/n-hexane and analyzed in duplicate. The $\alpha$-tocopherol contents differed according to extraction temperature. The contents were $85{\mu}g/g$ or less at $10^{\circ}C\;and\;20^{\circ}C$ and $94{\mu}g/g$ at $30^{\circ}C$, but they were decreased at $40^{\circ}C$ or higher. The $\alpha$-tocopherol contents in 22 peanut varieties were $61.36{\sim}96.80{\mu}g/g$ according to variety. Fresh peanuts contained $106.7{\mu}g/g$ of $\alpha$-tocopherol, while boiled peanuts contained $108.8{\mu}g/g$ of $\alpha$-tocopherol, and roasted peanuts contained $109.2{\mu}g/g$ of $\alpha$-tocopherol.
A method for calculation of two center overlap integrals for a pair of Slater type orbitals was developed by Mulliken et al. In this method the spherical polar coordinates for a pair of Slater type orbitals located at two different points are required to be transformed into a spheroidal coordinate set for calculation of two center overlap integrals. A new method, the expansion method for spherical harmonics, in which Slater type orbitals, located at two different points, are expressed in a common coordinate system has been applied for computation of two center overlap integrals. The new method for computation of two center overlap integrals is required to translate Slater type orbitals centered at two different points into the reference point for computation of two center overlap integrals. This work has been expanded the expansion method for spherical harmonics for computation of two center overlap integrals to $|3s{\g}$, $|5s{\g}$ and $|5s{\g}$. Master formulas for two center overlap integrals are derived for these orbitals, using the general expansion formulas. The numerical values of the two center overlap integrals evaluated for a hypothetical NO molecule are in agreement with those of the previous works.
Objectives : Kyeongok-go has the effect of antioxidant, anti-cancer, improving fatigue, and hyperlipidemia, but it is not easy to use in clinical practice becausee of the complicated manufacturing process of heat control and moisture control. The aim of this study was to explore the lipid improvement effect of new manufacturing methods prodeced Kyeongok-go in hyperlipidemia rats. Methods : The SD rats were divided randomly into 8 groups of six animals each : Normal rats (Nor), hyperlipidemia rats (Con), hyperlipidemia rats treated with Spirulina 60 mg/kg(SP60), hyperlipidemia rats treated with Commercial Kyeongok-go 1 g/kg (K0), hyperlipidemia rats treated with Kyeongok-go manufactured by heating mantle 1 g/kg (K1), hyperlipidemia rats treated with ginseng fermentation Kyeongok-go 1 g/kg (KF), hyperlipidemia rats treated with Kyeongok-go with black ginseng 1 g/kg (BK), hyperlipidemia rats treated with black ginseng fermentation Kyeongok-go 1 g/kg (BKF). The experimental group induced hyperlipidemia by eating high cholesterol diet for 8 weeks. Also, we compared Kyeongok-go manufacturing method using the new method compared with traditional method. Results : As a result, the improvement effect of hyperlipemia using the new method showed the similar or better improvement effect compared with the conventional method, and it is considered that the Kyeongok-go manufacturing method using the new method can be substituted for the traditional Kyeongok-go manufacturing method. Conclusion : In conclusion, these results suggest that new manufacturing methods prodeced Kyeongok-go has the potential as a anti-hyperlipidemia material which possess lipid improvement activities.

A method for the determination of alkylphenols, chlorophenols and bisphenol A in paper materials using GC/MS-SIM has been developed. Eleven endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) of phenols in paper samples were extracted with acetonitrile. Also, solid-phase extraction (SPE) with XAD-4 and subsequent conversion to isobutoxycarbonyl derivatives or tert.-butyldimethylsilyl derivatives for sensitive analysis with the selected ion-monitoring (SIM) mode. The recoveries were 82.4∼108.8 % by area ratio of pheranthrene-d$\sub$10/ vs bisphenol A d$\sub$l6/. (isoBOC derivatization and TBDMS derivatization) The SIM responses were linear with the correlation coefficient varying 0.9717∼0.9995 (isoBOC derivatization), and 0.9842∼0.9980 (TBDMS derivatization). The range of concentrations was respectively, 0.95∼l.44 ng/g in 2,4-dichlorophenol, 1.01∼1.17 ng/g in t-butylphenol, 2.17∼5.84 ng/g in pentachlorophenol, 12.68∼14.88 ng/g in nonylphenol and 30.84∼153.72 ng/g in bisphenol A.
We first provide how to apply the global preconditioned conjugate gradient ($G{\ell}-PCG$) method with Kronecker product preconditioners to image deblurring problems with nearly separable point spread functions. We next provide a coarse-grained parallel image deblurring algorithm using the $G{\ell}-PCG$. Lastly, we provide numerical experiments for image deblurring problems to evaluate the effectiveness of the $G{\ell}-PCG$ with Kronecker product preconditioner by comparing its performance with those of the $G{\ell}-CG$, CGLS and preconditioned CGLS (PCGLS) methods.

The work factor approach was applied to determine $G_ {IC}$ of fiber reinforced composites (AS4/3501) from a single unidirectional (0-deg) DCB specimen. Elastic work factors of DCB specimen for three different symmetrical staking sequences were derived from a simple bending theory and a finite element method. The results showed that elastic work factors calculated from both methods were comparable each other. In particular, the elastic work factor of DCB specimen with symmetrical stacking sequence is independent of stacking sequence. The $G_ {IC}$ determined from the work factor approach was compared with that determined by the compliance method. The results showed that the work factor approach and the compliance method produce comparable results of $G_ {IC}$. Thus, $G_ {IC}$ can be determined from a single DCB specimen using the work factor approach.
