A Cloud Classification Using Fuzzy Method (퍼지 기법을 이용한 구름 분류)

  • 본 논문에서는 퍼지 기법을 이용하여 구름의 종류를 분석하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 가시 영상과 적외 영상을 대상으로 육지 영역은 RGB 컬러 정보 중에 G 채널 값의 수치가 높고, 바다영역에서는 B 채널 값의 수치가 높다는 정보를 이용한다. 이 정보를 이용하여 육지 영역에서는 R과 B 채널 값을 적용하고, 바다 영역에서는 R과 G 채널 값을 적용한다. 가시 영상과 적외 영상에서 임계치를 적용하여 잡음(구름 이외의 영역)을 제거하고, 잡음을 제거한 영상에서 육지 영역과 바다 영역을 구분한 후, 각 R, G, B 채널 정보를 퍼지 기법에 적용하여 구름 영역을 판별한다. 그리고 가시영상과 적외 영상에 모두 포함된 구름 영역에 대해서는 두 영상을 합성하여 구름을 판별한다. 제안된 기법을 구름 분류에 적용한 결과, 제안된 방법이 기존의 양자화를 적용한 방법보다 구름의 분류 성능이 개선된 것을 확인하였다.

Antioxidant Properties of Different Parts of Red and Black Adzuki Beans (적두 및 흑두의 부위별 항산화 특성)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the polyphenolic compounds found in different parts of red and black adzuki beans and to determine the contribution of polyphenolic compounds to the antioxidant properties of adzuki beans. Total polyphenolic and proanthocyanidin contents were studied and their antioxidant activities were determined by ferric reducing antioxidant power, 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), and 2,2'-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt assay. The highest total polyphenolic content was found in seed coats (26.1~33.9 mg/g), followed by whole beans (6.9~8.0 mg/g) and dehulled beans (3.3~3.4 mg/g). The highest total proanthocyanidin content was also found in seed coat with 26.5~30.7 mg/g. Moreover, seed coats exhibited the highest antioxidant activity regardless of analytical methods. Antioxidant activity was positively and significantly correlated with total polyphenolic content with the exception of dehulled beans, in which there was no correlation with total polyphenolic content. In particular, the highest correlation was found between DPPH and total polyphenolic content (r=0.945, P<0.01) in whole beans.

Establishment of Baseline Sensitivity of Phytophthora capsici Causing Pepper Phytophthora Blight to Carboxylic Acid Amide Fungicides (Carboxylic acid amide계 살균제에 대한 고추 역병균 Phytophthora capsici의 감수성 기준 설정)

  • Baseline sensitivity to benthiavalicarb, iprovalicarb and dimethomorph included into carboxylic acid amide (CAA) group was evaluated in 180 isolates of Phytophthora capsici over 4 years from 2005 to 2008. $EC_{50}$ (effective concentration inhibiting mycelial growth by 50%) value of benthiavalicarb ranged from $0.015{\mu}g\;mL^{-1}$ to $0.049{\mu}g\;mL^{-1}$ with a mean of $0.033{\mu}g\;mL^{-1}$. The mean values of $EC_{50}$ of iprovalicarb and dimethomorph were 0.411 (0.197 - 0.556) ${\mu}g\;mL^{-1}$ and 0.271 (0.101 - 0.798) ${\mu}g\;mL^{-1}$, respectively. Although there was no increasing tendency in $EC_{50}$of benthiavalicarb and iprovalicarb during 4 years, $EC_{50}$ of dimethomorph was increased gradually by laps of time. There was no cross-resistance between each fungicide used in this study and metalaxyl. Among fungicides included into CAA group, there was a positive correlation between benthiavalicarb and iprovalicarb, and between dimethomorp and mandipropamid.

Evaluation for Rock Cleavage Using Distribution of Microcrack Spacings (IV) (미세균열의 간격 분포를 이용한 결의 평가(IV))

  • Jurassic granite from Geochang was analysed with respect to the characteristics of the rock cleavage. The multicriteria evaluation for the six directions of rock cleavages was performed using the microcrack spacing-related parameters derived from the enlarged photomicrographs (${\times}6.7$) of the thin section and the spacing-cumulative frequency diagrams. The results of analysis for the representative values of these spacing parameters with respect to the rock cleavage are summarized as follows. First, the analysis for deriving the main parameter indicating the order of arrangement among six diagrams was performed. The values of five parameters with respect to six directions of the rock cleavages were arranged in increasing or decreasing order for the above analysis. The decreasing order of the values of main parameter(mean spacing-median spacing, $S_{mean}-S_{median}$) and mean spacing are consistent with the order of H1, H2, G1, G2, R1 and R2 directions. These sequential arrangements of six directions of the rock cleavages can provide a basis for those of the six diagrams related to spacing. Second, the nine correlation charts between the above main parameter and various parameters were arranged in decreasing order of correlation coefficient ($R^2$). These related charts shows a high correlation of power-law function in common. The values of mean spacing, density (${\rho}$) and length of line oa are directly proportional to the value of main parameter, while the values of constant (a), exponent (${\lambda}$), spacing frequency (N), length of line oa', slope of exponential straight line (${\theta}$) and total length ($1mm{\geq}$) are inverse proportional. Third, the results of correlation analysis between the values of parameters for three planes and those for three rock cleavages are as follows. The values of frequency, total spacing, constant, exponent, slope and length of line oa' for three planes and three rock cleavages show an order of R' < G' < H' and H < G < R, respectively. On the other hand, the values of mean spacing, (mean spacing-median spacing), density and length of line oa show an order of H' < G' < R' and R < G < H, respectively. The correlation of the mutually reverse order of the values of parameters between three planes and three rock cleavages can be drawn. This type of correlation analysis is useful for discriminating three quarrying planes.

A Study on the Rheological Properties of glucomannan(II) (Glucomannan의 유변학적 성질에 관한연구 (II))

  • GM 은 Amorphopallus Konjac K. Koch의 tuber의 주성분으로알카리 응고제를 첨가 함에 따라 열적으로 안정한 gel을 형성한다. GM에 침전제로 메탄올을 사용하여 4단계로 분 별하였고 각 분별물(F.1, F.2, F.3, F.4)들은 Mark-Houwink 식을 이용하여 분자량을 산출하 였다. Ubbelohde를 이용한 농도에 따른 환산점도로부터 고유 점성도값을 구한 결과 분자량 이 높은 분별물이 분자량이 낮은 분별물에 비하여 직선으로부터 벗어남을 알수 있었다. 또 한 고유점성도는 분자량이 증가할수록 증가하였고, 분자량 분포 범위가 broad하게 나타났다. GM용액의 frequency와 shear rate에 따른 viscosity를 측정한결과 낮은 frequency에서는 loss modulus(G")가 storage modulus(G")보다 큰 값을 가졌으나 높은 frequency에서는 G '가 G"보다 크게 나타났다. 이 현상은 분자들의 얽힘에 관한 시간 의존도로써 설명할수 있다. 즉높은 frequency에서는 탄소 사슬간의 얽힘들이 진동기간내에 분자결합이 끊어지기 에 충분한 시간을 갖지 못하여 그 조직이 교차 결합을 한 gel처럼 행동하게 되고 한편 낮은 frequency에서는 탄소사슬들의 얽힘이 풀리고 흐르기에 충분한 시간을 갖게된다. Shear rate에 따른 viscosity값과 frequency에 대한 dynamic viscosity값은 거의 유사한 변화를 나 타내었다.

Nucleophilicity와 Basicity의 연관성에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 DFT를 이용하여 Nucleophilicity와 Basicity의 연관성에 대한 계산화학적 분석을 수행하였다. Basicity는 선정된 모델 분자의 protonation 반응에서 생성물과 반응물의 enthalpy 변화량인 양성자 친화도(Proton affinity, PA) 값을 구하여 분석하였다. 계산한 결과는 실험을 통해 얻은 PA 결과와 경향성이 거의 일치함을 확인하였다. Nucleophilicity는 모델 분자들과 $CH_3Br$ (electrophile)의 $SN_2$반응에서 gibbs free energy of activation(${\Delta}G^{\ddag}$) 값으로 그 경향성을 분석하였다. 또한 용매의 종류를 다르게 하여 용매에 따른 ${\Delta}G^{\ddag}$ 값의 경향성도 확인하였다. 각 용매에 따라 구한 ${\Delta}G^{\ddag}$와 PA의 상관관계를 비교하였으나, 큰 연관성은 보이지 않았다. 이에 ${\Delta}G^{\ddag}$와 PA의 상관관계를 보여줄 수 있는 parameter를 찾기 위하여 각 모델 분자의 Electronegativity와 Polarizability를 계산하여 연관성을 비교해보았다. Polarizability를 적용했을 때 Nucleophilicity와 Basicity사이의 연관성을 나타낼 수 없었던 반면, Electronegativity를 적용하여 Basicity와 Nucleophilicity의 연관성 보일 수 있음을 이론적으로 규명하였다.

Distribution of MIC value of antibiotics against Edwardsiella tarda isolated from olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) (양식 넙치 (Paralichthys olivaceus) 에서 분리된 Edwardsiella tarda에 대한 항균제 MIC 값 분포)

  • The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of eight antibiotics against Edwardsiella tarda 49 strains isolated from olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) was determined by the broth microdilution method. E. tarda showed 38.8% and 61.2% resistance to ampicillin and amoxicillin. Both resistance rates of E. tarda were 4.1% against ciprofloxacin and norfloxacin. The $MIC_{50}$ values of oxytetracycline, amoxicillin and oxolinic acid were $64{\mu}g/ml$, $32{\mu}g/ml$ and $4{\mu}g/ml$. The $MIC_{50}$ value to ciprofloxacin was $0.25{\mu}g/ml$ which was lowest among eight antibiotics tested.

Effect of Ratios Carbon Source to Nitrogen Source on the Yields of PHB Fermentation Variables (탄소원과 질소원의 비가 PHB 발효특성치 수율에 미치는 영향)

  • The effects of ratios of initial concentration of carbon source to the initial concentration of nitrogen source in the fermentation media on both the yields of PHB fermentation variables and the accumulation of poly-${\beta}$-hydroxybutyric acid(PHB) were investigated. The fermentation media were composed of the combination of varing glucose concentrations, 10, 20, 25, 30, 40, $50g/\ell$ and the NH4Cl concentrations 0.33, 0.4, 0.5, 1.5, 3, $5g/\ell$. The yield of biomass on glucos, Yx/s, decreased very slowly according to the increase of the ratio of C to N. And the yield became constant at 0.35(g biomass/g glucose) with the ratio higher than 70. The yield of residual biomass, Yx/s, also decreased with the ratio of C to N and finally showed a constant value of 0.065(g residual biomass/g glucose) when the ratio was higher than 65. In accordance with the augmentation of the ratio, the yield of PHB, YPHB/S, however, increased and showed the maximum value of 0.35 (g PHB/g glucose) between 40 and 60 of the ratio. The maximum yield of PHB to the change of biomass, YPHB/S, was 0.87(g PHB/g biomass), and the yie1d YPHB/RX, was 4.2(g PHB/g residual biomass). The maximum accumulation percent of PHB to the final biomass was 81% when the ratio was higher than 67.

Thermodynamic Study on the Mixed Micellization of Cationic Surfactants DPC and TTAB (양이온 계면활성제인 DPC와 TTAB의 혼합마이셀화에 대한 열역학적 고찰)

  • The critical micelle concentration (CMC) and the counterion binding constant (${\beta}$) at the CMC of the mixtures of Dodecylpyridinium chloride (DPC) and Tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (TTAB) have been determined from the concentration dependence of electrical conductance at various temperatures from $4^{\circ}C$ to $36^{\circ}C$. Thermodynamic parameters (${\Delta}C_p$, ${\Delta}G^o_m$, ${\Delta}H^o_m$ and ${\Delta}S^o_m$), associated with the micelle formation of DPC/TTAB mixtures, have been estimated from the temperature dependence of CMC and ${\beta}$values. The measured values of ${\Delta}C_p$ and ${\Delta}G^o_m$ are negative but the values of ${\Delta}S^o_m$ are positive in the whole measured temperature region. The values of ${\Delta}H^o_m$ are positive at low temperature region and negative at high temperature region. The results show that all of the thermodynamic parameters are dependent on temperature and mole fraction of DPC(${\alpha}_DPC$).
