The Photovoltaics(PV) industry has been evolving over the last 30 years and expanding because of a rising demand for clean and safe energy. Crystalline silicon solar cells will have increased performance and reduced cost in the future. In this paper solution growth process used to fabricate polycrystalline silicon thin film is considered.

Discussions are given to Korea all transport market and its intrinsic problems related to airport spatial distribution and facility capacities. Regional development impacts and demand forecasts are major variables for identifying a future direction for restructuring air transport market in Korea. A brief introduction is also given to the New Seoul International Airport(NSIA) that is expected to lead domestic and the North East Asia ail transport market.

This primary study has some bounds md limits owing to the descriptive reviews but not detailed analyses. However, 1 tried to do the comparative analyses and case studies about location and size of rail station for future efficient use of spatial structure. Therefore, I reviewed the location of railway station and some design standards of railway station facilities by type (high speed rail, conventional rail and urban rail), and also, suggested future direction for rail station as the core of city development relating with urban structures and human settlement system reformation.

Bio-electronics has been considered as one of the most appropriate candidates to overcome the frequently encountered problems in the development of future electronic devices. It has some advantages such as ultra fast electron transfer rate and high-energy efficiency compared with the silicon-based electronic devices. In silicon-based electronics, there are some of limitations of manufacturing process and physical problems. Bio-electronics can overcome the limitation and problem of silicon-based electronics. Bio-electronics has possible application areas as biosensor, biochip, bio-transistor and bio-computer. In the future, bio-electronics can substitute the silicon-based electronics.

Exploitation of the ocean's deep water has brought humanity a wealth of treasures for centuries. Even so, it can confidently be forecast that the Ocean will be far more important to future generations than it has ever been in the past. Although many researchers endeavor to explore oceans, the ocean holds the crucial elements for maintaining a growing industrialized population in search of raw materials. This requires careful study and selection of innovations that will provide future generations and raw materials with an unlimited renewable and non-pollution energy and raw materials source with advantageous side benefits.

The paper introduces the grid technology currently applied intensively to civil engineering around the world. Basic concepts of grid technology and its application areas are summarized. Some of available grid systems in foreign countries and also in Korea are introduced and their main goals and functions aye compared. Through reviewing the KOCED program currently under development in Korea, the future of the grid technology in civil engineering is groped.

As one of the Korean VLBI Network (KVN) Key Science Programs, the Interferometric Monitoring of Gamma-ray Bright AGNs (iMOGABA) aims to reveal the origins and nature of the gamma ray flares in active galactic nuclei (AGNi). Here we report a summary of activities and recent scientific results of the iMOGABA program, including statistical properties of the whole sample, as well as scientific highlights for the iMOGABA on specific sources. We also introduce future prospects and directions for the development and expansion of iMOGABA.

The purpose of this study was to examine leadership theory to develop leadership of rural leaders. Specific objectives of the study were 1) to examine the general development and trends of leadership theory. 2) to examine recent trends of leadership theory, 3) to examine leadership development of rural Korea. To pursue this purpose literature review was carried out. Based on the results of this study, the following were suggested. 1) Developing leadership of rural leaders was one of the essential factors for rural development. 2) There were differences in leadership according to situation and times. 3) New leadership will be required for future development of rural Korea.

CFD techniques are widely used for the design and development of turbomachinery. The design and performance prediction, evaluation of performace and analysis are all important for the successful development of the machinery. The characteristics of the sturcture and performace of the centrifugal compressor are reviewed for the effective application of CFD techniques. The examples of flow calculations through an impeller and a channel diffuser are presented and phenomenological aspects are discussed. The future research topics of CFD area are also suggested.

The purpose of this study was to compare the expectations of mothers and teachers regarding development of three-year-old children and to analyze factors influencing the expectations. The results of this study showed that the mothers held higher expectations than the teachers regarding development of their children in all areas. Maternal expectations differed depending on the ages of the mothers and their children's birth order. Teaching experience with three-year-old children also made differences in the teacher's expectations. Implications to parent education and suggestions for future studies were provided.
