빅데이터분석기반의 기술주도형 미래 국방무기체계 및 핵심기술 도출 방법연구 (A study on Technology Push-based Future Weapon System and Core Technology Derivation Methodology)

  • Purpose: Recent trends have shown that the usage of big data analysis is becoming the core of identifying promising future technologies and emerging technologies. Accordingly, applying these trends by analyzing defense related data in such sources as journals, articles, and news will provide crucial clues in predicting and identifying core future technologies that can be used to develop creative and unprecedented future weapon systems that could change the warfare. Methods: To identify technology fields that are closely related to the 4th industrial revolution and recent technology development trends, environmental analysis, text mining, and military applicability survey have been included in the process. After the identification of core technologies that are militarily applicable, future weapon systems based on these technologies as well as their operation concepts are suggested. Results: Through the study, 73 important trends, from which 11 mega trends are derived, are identified. These mega trends can be expressed by 13 promising technology fields. From these technology fields, 248 promising future technologies are identified. Afterwards, further assessment is performed, which leads to the selection of 63 core technologies from the pool. These are named as "future defense technologies" which then become the bases for 40 future weapons systems that the military can use. Conclusion: Predicting future technologies using text mining analysis have been attempted by various organizations across the globe, especially in the fields related to the 4th industrial revolution. However, the application of it in the field of defense industry is unprecedented. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it not only enables the military personnel to see promising future technologies that can be utilized for future weapon system development, but helps one to predict the future defense technologies using the method introduced in the paper.

해조류 구멍갈파래 (Ulva pertusa)의 친환경적 이용을 위한 바이오에탄올의 생산 (Bioethanol Production from Seaweed Ulva pertusa for Environmental Application)

  • Ulva pertusa is one of the worst pollutant like a waste vinyl after agriculture and caused bad smell at seashore in Jejudo and south area of korean peninsular. For favorable environmental utilization of Ulva pertusa, it could be applied for ethanol production with its acid hydrolysate. The components of hydrolysate included fermentable sugar of glucose, xylose, mannose, galactose, and higher amounts of unfermentable rhamnose. Fermentable sugars were converted to ethanol with S. cerevisiae, also xylose to ethanol with P. stipitis, their maximun ethanol production at optimum conditions were 462 ${\mu}g$/mL and 475 ${\mu}g$/mL, respectively. While, rhamnose cannot be changed to ethanol with S. cerevisiae or P. stipitis, alone. Combination of S. cerevisiae and P. stipitis can convert rhamnose to ethanol, because P.stipitis degradaded rhamnose to pyruvate, and then S. cerevisiae convert to ethanol, at optimum conditions, ethanol reached to 782 ${\mu}g$/mL (30.24%) that is higher than that of 2 strain alone from 500 mg of dried Ulva pertusa contained 2586.45 ${\mu}g$/mL of reduced sugars. Ulva pertusa can be utilized for renewal energy insted of environmenatal enemy.

  • The purpose of this paper is to illuminate the role and importance of National Research & Education Network (NREN) in the national research and education field and to establish the future strategy of KREONET in Korea. To this end, we first carefully analyze the footsteps of NREN in major overseas countries, KREONET achievements, and future demand for KREONET. The history of NREN's development is divided into the 2000s, 2010s, and present by era, and classified into network infrastructure, network service, and next-generation network technology by subject. KREONET achievements are divided into advanced research support, network backbone and operation, and network service. Future demand analysis of users who use KREONET was conducted through Korea Research International Incorporation, a survey company. This paper presents the future development strategy of KREONET by analyzing KREONET achievements and future demand.

Otherwise this paper deals with the transformation possibility of Stuttgart model to city of Taegu. In recent times Stuttgart has invested great effort to innovate her structural problems. Important points are as follows; Planning of development strategy for future, Innovation of infrastructure and city image, Effort for environment, participation programs for citizens etc. Coooperation between Stuttgart and Taegu will bring some synergy effect in the future.

  • The 2010 PCRD(Presidential Committee on Regional Development) International Conference aims at designing regional policies to enhance regional growth potential and inter-regional cooperation. Increasing economic interdependence in Northeast Asia in particular among the 3 countries of China, japan and Korea, requires enlightened territorial development policies of each country to accommodate the need for close cooperation and networking across the border. The security problem in the Korean peninsula requires the importance for earnest dialogue and discussion between neighbors about the common future of Northeast Asia. Cross-border cooperation and networking will contribute to enhancing regional stability and development in this era of borderless globalization.

  • 최근 몇 년 동안 중국의 애니메이션 산업 발전은 국민 총생산에서 차지하는 비중이 점점 높아지고 있다. 중국의 애니메이션 산업의 현황을 보면 한국의 애니메이션 업계와 비교해 볼 때 여전히 부족한 점이 많다. 이 논문은 중국 애니메이션 산업의 현황과 향후 발전 추세를 주제로, 본문은 먼저 현재 중국 애니메이션 산업의 현재 발전 상황을 논술하고, 둘째, 현재 중국 애니메이션 산업이 직면한 문제점을 검증한다. 마지막으로 애니메이션 산업의 향후 발전방향으로 애니메이션 산업 체인의 올바른 구축과 관련 방향의 인재를 대대적으로 양성하여, 창의성인 애니메이션 산업이 육성될 수 있도록 정책방향을 설계하는데 핵심 의의로 삼는다. 이 세 가지 방향은 향후 중국 애니메이션 산업발전을 촉진할 것이라 사료된다.

서구 중심적 개발담론의 재해석과 지속가능한 개발로서 포스트개발의 미래 (The Reconsidering of the Western based Development Discourse and the Future of Postdevelopment as Sustainable Development)

  • 본 연구는 서구 중심의 개발담론에 내재한 문제점을 분석하고, 지속가능한 개발로서 포스트개발의 방향을 모색하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이 연구는 개발담론의 형성과 변화를 역사적 과정을 통해 살펴보았다. 개발은 후진성을 극복한다는 의미로 사용되었고, 글로벌 남부는 글로벌 북부의 개발모델이 필요한 곳으로 주변화 되었다. 국가주도 개발담론(케인스주의 개발담론)에서는 산업화를 통한 성장이 개발의 핵심이었고, 글로벌 남부는 저개발을 극복하는 것이 최고의 목표였다. 신자유주의 개발담론에서는 시장원리에 따른 경쟁이 개발을 위한 가장 효율적인 선택으로 인식되었다. 하지만 신자유주의 개발담론은 권력의 집중과 계층 간 불균형을 야기한다고 비판을 받게 되었고, 성장보다는 분배와 삶의 가치를 강조하는 포스트개발 논의가 대두되었다. 본 연구는 포스트개발의 방향을 공정무역과 윤리적 소비를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 하지만, 공정무역과 윤리적 소비 담론은 신자유주의 개발담론에 포섭되는 한계를 보이고 있다. 따라서 향후 포스트개발은 시장과 자본에 의한 권력으로부터 벗어나고 재분배를 지향하는 개발이 되어야 할 것이다.

  • The objectives of this study were to explore to upbringing system for the future farmers of the 4-H Clubs, future farmers organization and the Center for 4-H in the USA to suggest some implications to 4-H programs in Korea. To train future leaders in agricultural and agri-business areas leaders in the United States felt the need to create various organizations such as 4-H Club, Future Farmers of America (FFA), Young Farmer Association (YFA), and cooperate each other. The members in future farmer's groups benefit from opportunities and involvement of farming and agri-related activities and contribute to improve their communities. One of them, the 4-H Club remains strong in the country covering young people as members and adult as volunteer leaders. Youth in 4-H learn by doing, and members find opportunities for leadership. 4-H members contribute to their family, community, and country in meaningful ways to make a difference. The Center for 4-H has provided a range of challenging opportunities around the arts, sciences, environment, technology, business, animals, foods, and health while always stressing leadership and citizenship for 4-H members. The Center has been supporting research, teaching, and outreach in community based non-formal youth development education. The Center is particularly interested in youth development opportunities including foster resiliency, promote safe and healthy behaviors, and support youth in communities in various ways.

  • 본 연구는 미래병사의 전투복 설계를 위한 기초 연구로 미래병사체계의 한 부분인 스마트 전투복의 디자인 프로토타입을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다 미래 전장은 정보의 습득과 전달이 승패의 핵심이 되는 정보전장이 될 것으로 생각되며, 미래병사를 위한 스마트 전투복은 전투력을 상승시키기 위한 각종 디지털 기기를 내장한 스마트 의류로서 전투복으로서 갖추어야 하는 착용성과 기기를 편안하게 사용할 수 있는 사용성을 모두 갖추어야 한다. 파라서 인체와 의복, 디지털 기기와의 관계를 연구하여 전투력을 상승시킬 수 있는 기기를 병사 특유의 동작에 방해되지 않도록 배치하기 위한 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미래병사의 체형을 예측하고, 미래 병사에게 필요할 것으로 생각되는 각종 디지털 장치의 특성을 탐색하고, 동작과 인체의 구조를 연구하여 스마트 전투복의 최적 설계안이 도출되었다
