The broadcasting & telecommunication services in the future will be converged and be serviced on mobile devices. However, the current ICT infrastructure does not fully meet the future demand for those converged, realistic, intelligent, and personalized services. The Korean government is going to establish a high speed next generation network called UBcN (Ultra-Broadband Convergence Network) by 2013. The Korean government has announced a multi-year plan to establish an UBcN network and to discover and stimulate new converged services for an UBcN in January, 2009. The author of this paper has taken part in formulating development plans since the early stages of planning. In this paper, Korea's development plans for the next generation network and their development strategies are analyzed and discussed based on the author's experience. The paper also discusses the expected impacts of the plan for the future ICT industry, and the implications of government-driven development plans.

Purpose - With the increasing medical demands of the public, the development of future Internet medical care has come to represent a major problem. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to discuss future development strategies for Interne medical care while taking China's Internet hospitals as an example case. Research design, data, and methodology - This study conducted a case study of China's Internet hospitals to summarize the fundamental problems faced by Internet hospitals and propose future development strategies to overcome these problems for Internet medical care. Result - Although Internet hospitals have been regarded as the ultimate product of Internet medical care, from the perspective of the government, medical institutions, platforms builders and maintainers, and patients, they still face some basic issues. Conclusion - This study concludes that the government and medical institutions play an important role in the future development of Internet medical care and suggests that the government should make overall plans for the policies and standards and should play the main role in enhancing the public trust in Internet medical care, while medical institutions should take steps such as seizing policy opportunities, driving online and offline collaborations, and constructing suitable evaluation systems to promote the development of Internet medical care.

Objectives: Effective genetic toxicology and molecular biology research techniques and strategies that are highly correlated with the carcinogenic inhalation toxicity test and related research are required. The aim of this study was to maximize the utilization of chemical substances to prevent workers' occupational diseases. Methods: We surveyed the literature, domestic and international references, and the status of relevant domestic and foreign professional organizations. Expert advisory opinions were reflected, and experts were consulted by participating in domestic and overseas academic conferences. Results: The current status of domestic and international genotoxic toxicity evaluation was examined through various documents from related organizations. Cell models for in vitro lung toxicology were investigated and summarized, and the human resources and performance results of genetic toxicity studies and pilot projects were compared and analyzed by holding an advisory meeting. We examined domestic and international genotoxicity guidelines and investigated new test methods for the development of genotoxicity and carcinogenicity. Ultimately, we described long-term future predictions, including the implementation of our researchers' recommendations and occupational genetic toxicology forecasts for future worker health protection. Conclusions: This research project aims to establish current genetic toxicology and molecular biology research techniques and strategies that can maximize the linkage with the carcinogenic inhalation toxicity test and research in the future. We expanded the study of genetic toxicity and establish a foundation forgenetic toxicity in accordance with research trends in Korea and abroad.

As domestic construction investment has been gradually reduced, expanding overseas construction is one of the most important issues for Korean construction companies. Among these issues, strategies for overseas CM services have widely been discussed, because the CM services have features of high growth potential and value-added area when compared with other construction sectors. Therefore, recent efforts focus on further development in advanced CM capabilities and expansion to overseas market. However, there has been lack of quantitative research to investigate current status and future direction of CM industry. In this sense, this research investigated what CM has achieved for the past 17years (between 1997 and 2013) and what CM should accomplish for future strategies. The purpose of this research is to statistically analyze total of 2,983 CM service contracts over the past 17 years published in KISCON (Knowledge Information System of Construction Industry) in order to examine current status of CM industry in terms of market type, contract size, commodity type, and owner's type. Based on this research, it is expected to suggest for future strategies and development directions from the CM industry perspective that could provide quantitative analyses, improve current CM statistics systems and strengthen the competitiveness in international CM market.

Competition among building contractors in the Korean construction environment has been increasing lately, and with the recent conclusion of the FTA between Korea and the United States, further advancement in the systems of construction, bidding and contract awarding is expected to be facilitated in the long term. Considerable changes are also expected particularly in the construction management (CM) market. Given these drastic changes, it has become more noticeable that the role of CM is enlarged in terms of time, cost, quality, risks and others to guarantee the Korean competitiveness against the global construction market. This study analyzed the current status of domestic CM companies via SWOT analysis and, based on such analysis, established development strategies for CM contractors. The strategies proposed in this study will be utilized by CM companies as basic materials in their future strategies in a short, mid and long term perspective respectively for competitive advantages in the market.

The purpose of the study was to analyze trends of the previous interventions based studies in Korea to improve behavior problems of the children with EBD in order to suggest the research development and trends of future behavior intervention program as their behavior coping strategies. Therefore, it was analyzed 50 papers related to interventions of behaviors problems, published at the professional EBD journal from 2005 to 2009. The result suggested effective intervention factors, strategies, program & intervention trends, based on the results by factors. Previous researches in the study was comparatively analyzed by factors, such as the number, gender, age, and grade of subjects, and strategies, deliever, place of the intervention. The result of the study was analyzed the Previous researches based on the research subjects, research methods(subjects, research design, intervention delievers, intervention places, and intervention periods) and the type of intervention strategies included research procedures. The study results provided the foundation of the future intervention methods and the related program developments.

In the process of industrial restructuring at the regional and firm's level induced by significant changes in external economic circumstances, geographic and economic inheritances could be exploited as a constraint and/or asset for firms' strategies. Through a theoretical discussion of this argument, an attempt has been to categorize the effects of inherited regional assets on firms' strategies and regional development and to analyze the firms' strategies located at the city of Ansan. Capitalizing upon this empirical findings, some feasible development paths of Ansan in the future have been proposed and then critically discussed.

The objective of this study is to establish a theoretical framework of factors and strategies for success , by probing into design management strategies and the resulting product development details of firms from many parts of the world that improved their images and competitiveness through industrial design. As a means for a company to successfully develop products and to survive, strategies for successful product development were unfolded by many leading businesses of industrial design, whose methods and strategies were respectively unique. International companies such as Philips, Sony, Braun, Ford, and Alessi employed industrial design to not only renew their brand perceptions, but also added values to human life by embedding exclusive designs that customers prefer in their products. They have used design as a business strategic tool, whose elemental processes are, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. In conclusion, the successful strategies of the leading global companies' design management and product development share the following First, these companies seek design strategies that foresee upcoming changes and are ahead of their time. Second, the CEO is aware of the importance of design, has an appreciative eye for design, and puts in effort into supporting and developing his or her design sector. Third, the director is provided with the conditions in which he or she can take control of one's tasks, and has the abilities and qualities to provide visions for the future. Fourth, the product development team uses original and logical processes and is highly organized. Fifth, the design organization effectively utilizes necessary experts of internal and external company. Sixth, the firm produces innovative products that meet the customers' demand and predict the future. Seventh, the products developed shall employ cutting-edge technologies and are new and original. Eighth, the product must have an identity as a product that represents the company.

The core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, the cloud, big data, and mobile networks, are inspiring major changes and innovations in the defense sector worldwide. The United States, China, and Russia are pursuing defense research and development strategies that seek to maintain their leadership on the battlefield in the future through the overwhelming superiority of defense science technology. Defense science and technology concentrate on the development of challenging new disruptive technologies to efficiently respond to future battlefield environments, where the immediate process of determining the outcome of a war will lead to combat power. In this paper, we first look at the development strategies of the 4th Industrial Revolution in major countries and describe the latest trends in defense science and technology accordingly.
