  • This research is a study on the model of the economic value measurement of Internet Business properties(especially security property) that will take considerable parts in ail transactions. The study can contribute to decide the priority of investment among several Internet Business properties and justify the cost for improving Internet Business elements. However the study have some research limits not to be analyzed by the empirical verification. Future research agenda includes the practical survey of WTP of Internet Business properties, and the practical availability of the proposed model. Especially, many problems will occur in the process of the empirical analysis, so additional works should be done in the future.

  • This paper analyzed the background and status of studies for WRC-15 agenda item which considers additional frequency allocations to the fixed-satellite service in Ku-band and considered national future countermeasures. Satellite frequency can be acquired through compliance with the Radio Regulations for international registration and it has been recognized as the limited natural resource, and which leads to intensifying the competition among countries for the preoccupancy of it. Under the circumstances, WRC-15 is going to consider additional allocations to the fixed-satellite service in Ku-band and it is necessary to cope with the situation taking into account adequate protection of the existing services and future plan of frequency usage by the fixed-satellite service.

  • Energy consumption is the largest contributing factor for the increase of $CO_2$ emissions and amounts for almost 85% of all emissions. The future energy consumption of Korea is projected to grow exponentially despite its heavy dependence on imported energy that represents 97% of its total energy supply. According to a recent OECD report the carbon emission level of Korea is currently ranked 9th in $CO_2$ emissions, and is growing by almost 3% every year. Against this background, the Korean government introduced the "low carbon green growth" policy in 2008. As the global challenges intensified in the wake of the world economic crisis, Korea has been working hard in raising the visibility of its efforts at the club governance meetings, in particular the G-20 summit. Because of cooperative efforts with major member countries, the G-20 summit agenda has been significantly diversified to include long-term issues such as climate change, development issues, and global health. To achieve an effective green recovery for a new green world economic order, the G-20 summit leaders should concentrate on a strategy of establishing green governance for a global STI cooperation. Korea as the host country is poised to leverage the Seoul G-20 summit to catalyze global efforts toward a new green economic order.

  • The outbreak of a recent strain of Coronavirus, known as 'COVID-19', has spread sharply from China across the globe, resulting in a dramatic recession in the global economy. This uncertainty has therefore negatively influenced the business perspective and the various formulated strategies that may not considered such [extreme] circumstances. Using baseline analysis and archival data, this paper reports some of the major implications of COVID-19 on global business and strategy and puts forward suggested research agenda as potential future directions for organizations. In order to survive and remain sustainable, this paper argues that businesses need to revisit their strategies during current COVID-19 crises from three perspectives, including supporting human resources financial commitment, forming cross-functional teams and connecting with their supply chains, as well as investing in corporate social responsibility and doubling down efforts with regard to partnerships. The study also represents a preliminary analysis to the implications of COVID-19 on the business and strategies across the globe and is considered the first such in the field of business, as to date all research papers on COVID-19 have been published in medical-related journals. Directions for future research are also proposed at the end of this study.

  • In the face of accelerating biodiversity loss and its significance in our coexistence with nature, biodiversity is becoming more crucial in sustainable development perspective. To estimate biodiversity in the future which provides valuable information for decision making system especially in the national level, a quantitative approach must be studied forehand as a baseline of the present status. In this study, we developed a large-scale map of Plant Species Richness (PSR, typical indicator of biodiversity) for Young-dong and Pyung-chang provinces. Due to the accessibility of appropriate data and advance of modelling techniques, reduction of variables without deteriorating the predictive power is considered by applying Genetic algorithm. In addition, a number of Correctly Classified Instances (CCI) with 10-fold cross validation which indicates the predictive power, was carried out for evaluation. This study, as a fundamental baseline, will be beneficial in future land work as well as ecosystem restoration business or other relevant decision making agenda.

  • This paper shows light on the concept of smart tourism destination as a future of tourism development, especially in the context of problems associated with developing countries. This study substantiates the case of smart tourism development in mountain destinations as an affordable and needed future of the contemporary era. This conceptual study is based on secondary literature on Smart Cities, Smart Tourism Destinations, and Tourism in Himachal Pradesh. The Indian state of Himachal Pradesh has been considered as a study area to acknowledge major tourism-related challenges, especially in mountain locations. Consequently, the dots are connected between existing challenges and solutions that smart tourism holds. It turns out that for the development of mountain tourism destinations such as Himachal Pradesh in the Indian Himalayas, investments in smart infrastructure are required. By developing smart infrastructure, a new USP can be made, a supportive environment for new local businesses, new employment opportunities, enhanced tourist experience and an overall raised standard of living for locals. Considering all factors, it leads to a highly competitive tourism destination. All tourism destinations located in the Himalayan mountains show somewhat the same tourism challenges as Himachal Pradesh, India. Therefore, this paper brightens the path of destination planners towards the development agenda of smart tourism destinations and shows how smart tourism infrastructure can be deployed for better management of tourism destinations.

  • In previous paper[1], the authors had compared the current status of European and US rotorcraft development status. In this paper, more detailed procedures have been studied how the European rotorcraft technologies are developed preparing for 21 st century to be more competitive to US. For the systematic procedure to develop next generation aviation technologies including rotorcraft, the pan-European organization, ACARE, was established, and proposed major research agenda for next generation aviation technologies and businesses. Based on the proposed research agenda, all the R&D programs supported by EU are reorganized to be more efficient and competitive. The procedures for the rotorcraft technologies are, first, cabin noise/vibration reduction program (FRIENDCOPTER), second, core technologies to increase of rotor efficiencies and reduce rotor noise (GRC), and then finally to develop fast/long-range next generation rotorcraft (Fast Rotorcraft). As mentioned in previously, all the R&D procedure has to satisfy basic research agenda especially the environmental impact. With theses procedure, the European rotorcraft business had successful achievements not only in current and future market share, but also preparing for next generation rotorcraft platform such as compound and tilt-rotor rotorcraft satisfying market needs.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the school autonomy policy based on the system thinking perspective using causal loop diagrams. School autonomy was the main educational policy concerning school domain during the last government and was the instrument for school-based management, but it was not implemented effectively in site. The school autonomy policy practically disappeared as an explicit policy agenda in the current government. This study displays causal loop diagrams about the policy's logic and contents of school autonomy, in terms of curriculum, human resource management, and a supportive system. The causal loop diagrams depicting the implementation of the school autonomy policy are suggested concerning excessive enforcement and the confirmative mechanism for policy implementation. The conclusion provides some research implications and future directions.
