This study investigates the spatial distribution characteristics of Korean fashion industries during the last decade, in which the economic geography of fashion industries has changed dynamically with economic globalization and "thus resulted in increased" demand "of" diversification. In particular, this study examines the spatial distribution patterns of fashion industries in the Seoul metropolitan area where fashion industries are highly agglomerated. For the purpose, this study applies Moran's I Index of spatial autocorrelation analysis for seven functional sectors of fashion industries related to fashion production. The global and local agglomeration patterns are examined for each functional sector. The results clarify the distinction in the spatial agglomeration patterns among the seven functional sectors of fashion industries in the Seoul Metropolitan area. Logit models are developed to examine the interrelationships among functional sectors in their spatial agglomeration distribution patterns. By conducting binary logistic regression analysis, we find out how the spatial agglomeration of each functional sector is related to the others.

Elderly consumers of these days have economic power because of economic growth and live longer because of medical science development. Therefore, they have become very important customers to companies. However, if companies want to understand elderly consumers and induce them to spend money, empirical studies should have done first of all. So, this study examines the relationship between psychological characteristics of elderly consumers and purchase intention of health functional food. The results are: First, three psychological characteristics of elderly consumer are statistically significant to purchase intention of health functional food. 'Innovation-Achievement' and 'Elderly-Awareness' are positively significant to purchase intention of health functional food. Second, 'Trend-Convenience' and 'Elderly-Awareness' are more statistically significant to purchase intention of health functional food. Third, 'Trend-Convenience' is negatively significant to purchase intention of health functional food.

This study investigated final consonant error characteristics at word-medial position in children with functional articulation disorder. Data was collected from 11 children with functional articulation and 11 normal children, ages 4 to 5. The speech samples were collected from a naming test. Seventy-five words with every possible bi-consonants matrix at the word-medial position were used. The results of this study were as follows : First, percentage of correct word-medial final consonants of functional articulation disorder was lower than normal children. Second, there were significant differences between two groups in omission, substitution and assimilation error. Children with functional articulation disorder showed a high frequency of omission and regressive assimilation error, especially alveolarization in regressive assimilation error most. However, normal children showed a high frequency of regressive assimilation error, especially bilabialization in regressive assimilation error most. Finally, the results of error analysis according to articulation manner, articulation place and phonation type of consonants of initial consonant at word-medial, both functional articulation disorder and normal children showed a high error rate in stop sound-stop sound condition. The error rate of final consonant at word-medial position was high when initial consonant at word-medial position was alveolar sound and alveopalatal sound. Futhermore, when initial sounds were fortis and aspirated sounds, more errors occurred than linis sound was initial sound. The results of this study provided practical error characteristics of final consonant at word-medial position in children with speech sound disorder.

A functional equation is an equation which is satisfied by a function. Some elementary functional equations can be manipulated with elementary algebraic operations and functional composition only. However to solve such functional equations, somewhat critical and creative thinking ability is required, so that it is educationally worth while teaching functional equations. In this paper, we look at the origin of functional equations, and their characteristics and educational meaning and effects. We carefully suggest the use of the functional equations as a material for school mathematics education.

The outcome of modem sports events are reliant on not only the athletic ability and technology of individual players but their sportswear proterties. State-of-the-Hitech sportswear has started to be introduced in the 1950s, and in addition to the athletic capability of players, sportswear is one of the primary factors to affect the results of sports games, as a wide variety of Hi-Tech functional materials have come out since the 1990s. The purpose of this study was to development into the concept of active sportswear, to sort out hitech functional product lines in this field, to look into sports stars and Hi-Tech functional sports brands, and finally to identify the major characteristics of recent active sportswear. The result of this study were as follows: 1. There were largely four characteristics in recent functional sportswear materials: fast-drying cooling, minimized resistance, ultralight comfortableness, and water vapor permeable/waterproof function. 2. Besides the athletic capability and technology of players, Hi-Tech functional products are one of the major factors to determine the outcome of modem sports events. Functional synthetic fiber is preferred, instead of cotton, since the former is easier to manage and retains humidity better. 3. The major features of recent trend in active sportswear products are, functional, diversity and value. That is, those products are functional, since they are easy to manage and retain proper humidity, and they are for multipurpose, since they are fashionable and practical at the same time. And they are valuable, being expensive but appropriate for the movement of the body and having a high quality.

Started upon it discovery by Wright et al in 1973, studies on the solid polymer electrolyte are being carried out vigorously. So, models of Li-polymer battery have been developed through R-L-C components combination and P-spice functional block in this paper. The impedance characteristics of Li-polymer battery with R-L-C components are presented. Simulation results using P-spice functional model are compared with measured charge/discharge characteristics.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the folate contents and quality characteristics of commercial and fermented Kimchi and compare the correlation between folic acid and quality characteristics. Methods: The contents of total folate and quality characteristics were evaluated in 10 kinds of industrial and local Kimchi and nine kinds of other commonly consumed Kimchi. Changes in folate content and quality characteristics of Kimchi during 14 days of fermentation at $15^{\circ}C$ were compared. Results: Chungnam (L4) Kimchi had the lowest pH of 4.62, and acidity (0.57%) and salinity (3.26%) were highest compared to other areas. The content of total folate of D company (A) was the highest at $73.66{\mu}g/100g$. The content of total folate was significantly higher than those of Sesame leaf Kimchi (O9) and Young leafy radish Kimchi (O5) containing 65.77 and $62.82{\mu}g/100g$, respectively. The pH of fermented Kimchi decreased from 6.09 to 4.11 (p<0.05), and the acidity significantly increased (p<0.001) to 0.32-0.66%. Reducing sugar content decreased rapidly by 4 days and then slowly decreased (p<0.001). Total bacteria and lactic acid bacteria counts significantly increased (p<0.05) with fermentation period. Content of total folate was highest at $69.82{\mu}g/100g$ and $68.16{\mu}g/100g$ on days 0 and 2 of fermentation, after which it decreased to 77.6% at $15.61{\mu}g/100g$ on day 10 of fermentation. Conclusion: As a result, there was no definite trend regarding folate content in commercial Kimchi and other Kimchi. Young leafy radish, Chives, and Welsh onion Kimchi, which are rich in green leaves, are excellent folate source foods. The highest folate content of fermented Kimchi was identified on day 2 of fermentation. Therefore, it is recommended to use raw or immature Kimchi when using Kimchi as a folate source food.

This study attempted to investigate the characteristics of Phonation Threshold Pressure and Phonation Threshold Airflow of Patients who have Functional voice disorder. 50 subjects participated in study (32 subjects were patients who had functional voice disorders and 20 subjects were normal adults). The PAS (Phonatory aerodynamic system, model 6600, KAY electronics, Inc.) was used to measure the data and to do the analysis. Data from the Phonation Threshold Pressure was measured using voicing efficiency of the PAS protocol. Data from the Phonation Threshold Airflow was measured using Maximum Sustained Phonation of the PAS protocol. Those were used because of the ease of phonation. The results of this study showed that the differences in Phonation Threshold Pressure and Phonation Threshold Airflow between patients who had functional voice disorder and normal adults could be significant index. Patients who had functional voice disorder showed more higher figures than normal adults. These results suggest that Phonation Threshold Pressure and Phonation Threshold Airflow are very useful in diagnosing the voice disorder. The measured data also provided useful information for diagnosing patients with vocal fold diseases.

This study shows that a functional order relationship of national highways in rural areas, which provides the functional system as a principal and minor arterial highways, can be established by the use of statististics. As a result, the adequate functional design criteria of those highways are proposed on the basis of the traffic characteristics in those areas. According to those statistical studies, a function of national highways in the national road network is proved to form three categories broadly. Especially, the survey results based on the traffic characteristics on each road sections show that the initially constructed national highways can not provide an adequate functional role as the arterial highways in the studied areas. In order to operate the intended national highways functionally as the arterial highways, the functional design criteria of highways and the standard order of highway facilities based on the design traffic speed should be considered as an alternative.

To study the effect of functional water on the compressive strength of mortar, city water was changed to functional water through ceramics treatment. The change of characteristics of water was measured with $O^{17}$ NMR and Killian Camera. The compressive strength of mortar was measured with various curing conditions. The test results show that by the ceramics treatment the characteristics of city water was changed. At 28 days under curing condition, the compressive strength of mortar which was mix-proportioned with treated water was increased about 22 % than that of mortar which was mix-proportioned with untreated city water.
